HAMMER KING Announce New Album “Kingdemonium”, Out August 19th

HAMMER KING continue to prove themselves as an unstoppable force in the German heavy and power metal world – under the banner of the mighty king, the band announces their new studio album, Kingdemonium, set for release on August 19, 2022!

Only 14 months after the release of their self-titled album, which put them on the radar of each heavy metal fan with their first Top 50 chart entry, the Germans deliver another strong release while showcasing a different side of their self-curated fantasy world full of perfectly intonated tales and stories – a holy feast for fans of genre giants like Powerwolf, Manowar or HammerFall!

Together with the album announcement, the band around former Ross The Boss singer Titan Fox V have released the first single and official video taken from the new record! “Pariah Is My Name” is an undisputed banger packed with strong vocals, mighty guitar riffs and pounding drums. The song, in trademark HAMMER KING storytelling manner, offers a powerful first insight of what fans can expect from the new full-length.

HAMMER KING on “Pariah Is My Name”:
“Wake up, the firstborn is dead – Pariah Is My Name!
One year after the acclaimed juggernaut that Hammer King, the album, was, we are primed and ready to kick things off with a truly massive song: “Pariah Is My Name”.
The track has been our choice for the first single right from the start. Utilizing the Savatage-tuning, it has turned out very powerful and urgent, while lyrically it shows the kingly narrative from a darker angle. Reflecting on the past years outside the Kingdom, the message is clear and simple: Never surrender, the resistance is here – and Pariah Is My Name! God bless the King, may the King bless you.”

Kingdemonium highlights the core essence of HAMMER KING and fully reflects on the strengths of the band, kicking off with first track “Invisible King”. The title track, “Kingdemonium” then proves its pure power from the first note and goes all the way with thundering drums, riffs made of steel, and energetic vocals. Followed by “The Four Horsemen”, starting off slower, the track quickly picks up the pace mid-journey through the world of the Hammer King. “Guardians of the Realm (featuring Ross The Boss)”, stands out from the rest with the vigorous vocals riddled with acoustic guitar elements, while “Live Long, Die Nasty” is a future live hit that will have all crowds screaming along immediately. An album made of pure steel in the name of the Hammer King!

Sinister new track from NORDJEVEL truly captures the raw nature of true Norwegian black metal.
“Spores of Gnosis” leads the listeners into an atmosphere surrounded by chaos and darkness.

“Elusive and clandestine, raging and black. Like burning needles, piercing every soul and spirit-nerve.
We give you Spores Of Gnosis.
” – Nordjevel

Listen to the single here: https://orcd.co/sporesofgnosis

Nordjevel entered the international black metal scene in 2015 and spread like a plague, capturing audiences at festivals such as Inferno, Kaltenbach Open Air, Wacken, Hellfest, Bloodstock, Maryland Deathfest and In Flammen Open Air.
They were founded by Doedsadmiral, and consists of established musicians from bands such as Ragnarok, Myrkskog and Dark Funeral.

Nordjevel`s brutal and true take on black metal impressed. Their atmospheric and committed sound paired with high technical finesse, unique interplay and raw, unfiltered imagery, has the chills go wild on any black metal fan. A new full-length album is now on the horizon in 2022.

KING BUFFALO Release “Regenerator” Album on September 2nd & Announce Tour Dates

Rochester, New York-based trio KING BUFFALO will issue their fifth full-length, Regenerator, on Sept. 2, 2022, as a self-release in North America and through Stickman Records in Europe. Preorders will be available on June 10th via http://kingbuffalo.bigcartel.com.

Written and recorded by the band with mixing and engineering by guitarist/vocalist Sean McVay and mastering by Bernie Matthews, the seven-song outing is the third in King Buffalo’s stated ‘pandemic trilogy,’ following Two of 2021’s Best Albums in The Burden of Restlessness and Acheron.

Both of those albums – like 2018’s Longing to Be the Mountain, 2016’s debut, Orion, and the various EPs and other offerings they’ve made over the last eight years – made bold declarations about who King Buffalo are as a band, and Regenerator is no different. As McVay, bassist/synthesist Dan Reynolds and drummer Scott Donaldson continue to explore the outer reaches of modern psychedelic songcraft, melding progressive rhythms, drifting atmospheres and accompanying surges of electricity, the new collection only further establishes them as one of the brightest lights shining in underground rock today.

As the third of three, Regenerator seems inherently to tie together the two LPs most immediately before it, and as King Buffalo unfold the leadoff title-track across nine and half minutes, it becomes clear just how truly they have marked out their own sonic presence. The later melodic highlight “Mammoth” – with McVay’s most confident vocal yet – shimmers with hope that somehow doesn’t come across as desperate, and as “Hours” engages classic space rock and the closing “Firmament” summarizes the first, second and third series installments, the final chapter of this trilogy becomes the essential cornerstone of King Buffalo’s work to-date.

Regenerator was written by King Buffalo in Rochester, NY at the Main Street Armory in 2021. Produced, engineered and mixed by Sean McVay, and mastered by Bernie Matthews. The artwork was created by Mike Del Rosario, with the album layout by Scott Donaldson.

Listen to the album title track, just exclusively premiered with Metal Injection HERE!

Regenerator Tracklist:

  1. Regenerator
  2. Mercury
  3. Hours
  4. Interlude
  5. Mammoth
  6. Avalon
  7. Firmament

The band returned to live activity late last year, touring alongside Clutch and more recently a full North American spring tour with Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. By the time Regenerator arrives, they will have completed a UK and European headlining tour with festival appearances in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium and Denmark.

SOLE SYNDICATE Release Video for Second Single ‘Brave Enough’

SOLE SYNDICATE have released a video for ‘Brave Enough’ – second single taken from the new album ‘Into the Flames’, set to be released on June 17th via Scarlet Records.

“‘Brave Enough’ is a straightforward rock anthem with a strong chorus and an important message: we are burning down our own house…” – Sole Syndicate

Album pre-orders: https://orcd.co/intotheflames

Bridging the gap between traditional European roots and modern American sounds, Sole Syndicate knows well the secret of all the greatest, past’n’present-hard’n’heavy bands: every song counts.

‘Into the Flames’ is a darker and heavier record than its predecessor (the brilliant 2020 classic hard rock affair ‘Last Days of Eden’): earthquaking riffs & tasty solos, roaring vocals, some great melodies and a thunderous rhythmic background represent the foundation of each track.

The lyrical theme of the album is quite gloomy and leads the listener on a journey into the human mind, taking pulse on everyday life. Sole Syndicate is not a political band, but they are not afraid to write and sing about the state of things – war, mental health, environment and social injustices.

‘Into the Flames’ is the raucous and entertaining soundtrack of this crazy world of ours.

VOGELFREY Release New Studio Album “Titanium” on August 26th

VOGELFREY are set to release their new studio album “Titanium” on 26.08.2022 on Metalville Records.

Born from ashes – turned towards the sun – VOGELFREY are back and flamingly spread their wings.

After the pandemic-induced silence, the six vagabonds now rise to a musical flight of fancy that will undoubtedly sweep all listeners away. Metallically hard and yet full of folky joy, VOGELFREY let the sparks fly on their sixth studio album “Titanium” and once again refine their unique alloy of medieval and modern.

As a bonus for the limited box version, VOGELFREY present six of their most popular songs in a completely acoustic guise. “Folksnah” puts the focus completely on the folky side of the band for the first time and will also delight die-hard fans with brand new versions of vogelfreyer classics.

“Titanium” powerfully emphasises the musical and lyrical strengths from eighteen years of band history without shying away from new creative ideas.

VOGELFREY rise to heaven as a fiery phoenix – are you with them?

THE STEVE FOGLIA SOCIETY Release “Here & Now” on June 17th, First Zen Rock Album in History

Posted by tarjavirmakari on June 7, 2022

For some superstitious people Friday the 17th is an unlucky day, but not for THE STEVE FOGLIA SOCIETY who decided to tempt fate and release their new album (third in the studio after eight years) on this date. “Here & Now” comes out in digital version on all streaming platforms and in digipak version with special limited edition contents (pre-orders: stevefoglia@gmail.com).

Apparently the number 17 is not only flanked by the release date; well 17 people have collaborated for this album (illustrators, photographers, musicians and technicians) and in the song “Do n’t Be Afraid” Steve returns to collaborate in the studio with his friend Roberto Bonazinga after 17 years. “Here & Now” is the first ZEN ROCK album in history, as the leader Steve wanted to blend the biting sounds of rock music with introspective themes influenced by oriental culture. A fusion that gave birth to nine songs that reflect on the meaning of life, on the present moment, on good and evil, on surrendering to the passing of time and much more.

The lyrics are writted by Steve, while the music was written by Daniele Arieta and Edoardo Tavanti as well as by the band leader.

The band is formed by Paolo Rossi on vocals, Daniele Arieta on guitar, Edoardo Tavanti on keyboards, Mario Pedone on bass and Steve Foglia on drums.

“Here & Now” to be released on June 17th was preceded a few days ago by the single “Angels & Demons” of which you can see the official video below.

The band has released two studio albums:
“Revenge” (in 2011 with the participation of Mike Vescera & Adam Bomb) and “Steve in Wonderland” (in 2014 with the participation of Blaze Bayley of Iron Maiden; record considered as best hard rock album of the year for the webzine IYEZINE) .
