ROBIN TROWER Reveals ‘Too Rolling Stoned’, Latest Live Cut from “One Moment In Time: Live In The USA”

The award-winning British blues icon Robin Trower has revealed the latest live cut, Too Rolling Stoned, from his upcoming album One Moment In Time: Live In The USA, which will be released on 30 January via Artone/Provogue.

Listen to the song HERE.

The 14-song setlist represents a whistlestop guide to Trower’s fabled career, the bluesman striking a keen balance of all-time classics and new songs that reflect where he stands as an artist in modern times. You’ll find no fewer than four songs from 1974’s gold-selling masterpiece, Bridge Of Sighs, still universally hailed amongst the greatest albums from the golden era of blues-rock. “Those songs have to be in there, because they’re the audience’s favourites,” he says of these roaring renditions of Too Rolling Stoned, and the previously released live version of Day of theEagle. “That album is still a very powerful piece of music.”

In the summer of 2025 and riding high on the acclaim for his latest solo album, Come And Find Me (“Trower is to be treasured,” wrote Classic Rock), the guitarist crossed the Atlantic for a 25-date run in the nation that has welcomed him since the start. Almost 60 years have passed since Trower first performed in the Land Of The Free, but as a British gunslinger raised under slate-grey South London skies, he still remembers the culture shock. “I first came here with Procol Harum in the late-Sixties. Back then, it was a different world,” he says.

Trower honed in on the material caught at the Music Box At The Borgata, Atlantic City, New Jersey (14 June) and the Tupelo Music Hall in Derry, New Hampshire (24 June).

Slinging his signature Fender Stratocaster, moving the air with 50-watt Marshall stacks and drawing on his full array of Fulltone pedals (try the wah masterclass on opener The Razor’s Edge), Trower is very much running the show. But as the veteran bandleader acknowledges, the flying sparks on One Moment In Time: Live In The USA are down to the chemistry between his trusty power-trio: a three-headed beast that moves as one through the set’s shifting dynamics and time signatures.

“I prefer this format because I have more freedom,” he explains. “In a three-piece, everybody is trying to make up for the missing instrument. We’ve got Richard Watts on bass and vocals: a wonderful voice, great musician. Then there’s Chris Taggart on drums, another fantastic musician. I’m very fortunate to play with guys of this calibre. We’ve been working together now for a good ten years. They have to watch me a bit, because obviously I’m leading and they have to follow – but they do a brilliant job.”

One Moment In Time: Live In The USA, then, is a document of Robin Trower in full flight, just as powerful when experienced through your home speakers as it was for the fans on the front row. “At the very least, you want the audience to be feeling entertained by the end of the show,” he considers. “But I’d really like them to walk out feeling elated. I want them to get something emotionally out of this as well…”

International metal group Venus 5 – comprised of Karmen Klinc, Jelena Milovanovic, Tezzi Persson (Hell in the Club), Herma (Sick N’ Beautiful), and Erina Seitllari – are thrilled to announce the release of their second studio album, titled “March Of The Venus 5” and scheduled for March 20, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

To give a taste of what’s coming, they unleash today the first powerful single “Like A Witch”, along with an official video, available below.

Jelena Milovanovic commented: “Prepare to be bewitched!”, while Herma described the track as “girl power at its best”.

“There’s a hypnotic pull in ‘Like A Witch’, a blend of mystery, rhythm, and feminine fire that you feel instantly”, added Erina Seitllari.

Venus 5, the all-female European pop-metal sensation – return with a stronger, heavier, and more focused second album.

Uniting five distinctive voices from across the continent – Karmen Klinc (Slovenia), Jelena Milovanovic (Serbia), Tezzi Persson (Sweden, singer of Hell in the Club), Herma (Italy, singer of Sick N’ Beautiful), and Erina Seitllari (Albania) – the band pushes its sound to new heights, embracing a more traditional metal direction while retaining the massive hooks and glossy production that defined their debut.

Once again produced by Aldo Lonobile (Secret Sphere), with songwriting contributions from Jake E. (ex-Amaranthe, Cyhra), the album showcases a more mature, riff-driven approach, rich with symphonic and electronic elements, layered vocal harmonies, and explosive choruses tailor-made for fans of Within Temptation, Amaranthe, and modern European metal.

Erina Seitllari stated: “This album feels like a storm made of fire and velvet! Wild, electric, and impossible to hold. Every track carries that spellbinding feminine force, the kind that rises, glows, and refuses to be tamed”.

“The new Venus 5 album is crafted with all the qualities needed for every listener to discover something that resonates. Within it lie unexpected sonic delights, powerful and surprising, that we cannot wait to unveil and let reach the ears of our audience”, continued Karmen Klinc.

With performances at several major festivals already under their belt, Venus 5 are now gearing up to return to the stage in support of the new album – ready to prove that their power is just as undeniable live as it is in the studio.

SOUL OF ANUBIS to Release New Album “Ritual” on February 20th

Portuguese power duo SOUL OF ANUBIS will release their new album, “Ritual”, on February 20th, 2026 via Time To Kill Records. After more than a decade of intense activity, relentless touring and a steadily growing reputation across Europe, the band returns with a record that captures the full scope of their signature sound.

The first single “Incarnation” is available now: https://ffm.to/soul-of-anubis-incarnation

The band comments:

“’Incarnation’ represents the rebirth into a new cycle to enter the path of peace after the conflicted struggle in life. It is the story of a man who, after his death, gets on the boat to head towards the perfect world and who faces difficult struggles during his crossing. Along the way, he must leave behind oppression, starvation, pain and mind, leading him to immortality”.

Formed in 2010 in Northern Portugal, SOUL OF ANUBIS have carved out a distinct place within the European underground thanks to their explosive fusion of thrash, sludge, doom and post-metal. Their sound channels the raw urgency of Mantar, the primal energy of early Mastodon, and the relentless drive of High On Fire and Black Cobra, yet remains unmistakably their own – a visceral blend of aggression and dynamic shifts that refuses to be confined to a single genre.

On stage, the duo are known for their fierce and magnetic performances, delivering an unfiltered surge of heaviness that connects with audiences on a deeply physical level. Over the years, they have performed extensively across Portugal and beyond, building a loyal following through their intensity and authenticity.

The upcoming album promises to push their sonic boundaries even further, expanding upon their trademark blend of massive riffs, dark groove, and emotional gravity, while highlighting a newfound sense of urgency and compositional versatility.

Tracklist:

1. Ritual
2. Mind Crusher (feat Keijo Niinimaa from Rotten Sound)
3. Incarnation
4. Vermin
5. Dead Cult
6. God’s Burial
7. Human Torch

COURSE OF FATE Unveil New Single + Video ‘Don’t Close Your Eyes’ from Upcoming Album

With “Don’t Close Your Eyes,” Norwegian progressive metal collective Course Of Fate offer an unexpected turn: a dark, slow-burning ballad that strips the band down to their emotional core. The track is the latest preview of their upcoming studio offering Behind The Eclipse, set for release on January 30th, 2026 via ROAR – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music.

“Don’t Close Your Eyes” leans into melancholy rather than muscle, carried by fragile vocals and a somber cello arrangement by Steven Schumann that slowly tightens the grip. The band let the quiet moments breathe, making the emotional weight hit even harder. It’s intimate, vulnerable and haunting in a way that lingers.

The band comments: “Behind these eyes, untold stories. Who knows who will leave it all behind? Who knows what made them take shelter within themselves? This is a song to those who slip away from us. People we miss, but often forget.”

Following their critically acclaimed concept album Mindweaver (2020) – hailed alongside classics like Operation: Mindcrime, Scenes from a Memory, and The Wall – and their powerful sophomore effort Somnium (2023), Course Of Fate return with their most dynamic and heavy material yet.

Behind The Eclipse presents a diverse collection of songs where light and darkness intertwine, both musically and lyrically. Though not a concept album, each track connects through this theme, showcasing the band’s signature mix of melodic depth, progressive sophistication, and emotional weight!

TRAKTATES Released Debut Album “Koenig in Thule”

“Koenig In Thule” is the first full-length offering by German black metal entity TRAKTATES, formed in 2018 in Köthen (Anhalt), Saxony-Anhalt, delivering more than 50 minutes of raw yet immersive darkness that bridges abrasive black metal with subtle death-tinged heaviness.

Across six sprawling tracks – from the foreboding opener “Rabennacht” to the closing “As We Forgot To Live” – the band weaves a cold, introspective tapestry of solitude, existential weariness, and romantic gloom, with the title track drawing on the “King in Thule” mythos to fuse classic symbolism with contemporary despair.

Music for debut album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Patrick Vesper at Neiße Rauschen Studio Weißwasser. Cover artwork was done by Lene, and whole layout by Chaos Design.

Album was released on November 28, 2025 independently on CD (buy here) and all popular digital platforms, “Koenig In Thule” is aimed at devotees of atmospheric, German black metal who crave long-form compositions, unpolished production, and a focused, melancholic aura.

Listen to the “Koenig in Thule” at Metal Worship Promotion:

TRACKLIST:

1. Rabennacht
2. Das Angebot
3. Koenig in Thule
4. Ein Ende…

MASTER BOOT RECORD will be touring in support of their HARDWAREZ full-length, released in 2024 via Metal Blade Records.

HARDWAREZ explores the duality of technology. The LP, which follows 2022’s Personal Computer and 2020’s Floppy Disk Overdrive, comes from the expansive mind of multi-instrumentalist and MBR mastermind Vittorio D’Amore (aka Victor Love), an Italian producer who emerged from the underground as an anonymous project in 2016 to create the soundtrack for the cyberpunk point-and-click adventure game VirtuaVerse. The project seamlessly evolved into a standalone entity, releasing over fourteen albums in just a few years.

To create HARDWAREZ, the technologist worked by live streaming his desktop on YouTube while composing new music. Everything is programmed via MIDI. Intensive touring augmented with live musicians helped Love make the decision to include real guitars to achieve a massive sound and boost the enhanced frequency spectrum of the instrument. Additionally, the tracks feature sections without overdubs and with updated drum samples and a new mixing approach, creating a more vibrant and punchy drum sound.

HARDWAREZ, earned the #3 spot on Billboard’s Current Electronic Albums chart upon its first week of release. Elsewhere, the record took the #11 position on the Current Hard Music Albums chart, #17 on the Top New Artists Albums chart, and more!
