Progressive death metal pioneers DEATHBRINGER have unveiled their latest single ‘Pitfall (When IT Begins)’, taken from their upcoming album IT, due for release on 15th July via Unique Leader Records.

This follows the album’s previous singles ‘A Place To Exist‘ and ‘Inevitability (IT’s Whip)‘.

Formed in 2002 by guitarist Artyom Serdyuk, Deathbringer have toured across the globe sharing stages with Behemoth, Hate, Parricide, DeadInfection, and many more. Their debut album, Homo Divisis, came in 2007 and subsequently saw the band embark on their first European headline tour the following year to rave reviews.

IT emerges as the band’s sophomore record which initially began in 2013, but due to health issues, personal lives, and a global pandemic, had to be postponed. Now, with guest appearances from Bobby Koelble (Death), Tommy Talamanca (Sadist), and Mariusz Domaradzki  (Masachist,  Yattering,  Azarath), IT will finally see the light of day.

DAWN OF DESTINY Announce Chris Harms (LORD OF THE LOST) as Guest Musician on Eighth Album “Of Silence”

Spectacular guest musicians have a long tradition at DAWN OF DESTINY. In addition to the great Jon Oliva (Savatage), Mats Leven (Therion, Candlemass), Björn Speed Strid (Soilwork) and Zak Stevens (also Savatage), there is now – on the new album “Of Silence” – Chris Harms, the LORD OF THE LOST himself on board. The frontman, who is currently on tour with IRON MAIDEN with his band LORD OF THE LOST, has given the song “Childhood” his own personal charm. A first audio sample will soon be available on the El Puerto Records Facebook page before the new album will be released on June 24th, 2022.

DAWN OF DESTINY band leader Jens Faber is enthusiastic: “Actually I wanted to sing the song myself, but after the first demo it seemed like it was made for Chris. I sent him the song and he immediately agreed. Actually quite simple. What he then made of it blew us all away totally “.

“Of Silence” includes 13 brand new songs, all written by mastermind Jens Faber. Mix and mastering was done by Dennis Köhne. The fans can look forward to a playing time of over an hour.

Jack has the following to say about the new album:

When Virgin Steele put out its first album in 1982 we were asked by the record company to say a few words about it and why people should buy it … I remember all of us discussing the various influences we had and what the songs were about, I recall one member saying people should buy the album because it has some great songs that were very heavy and had cool riffs, I recall someone else in the band saying the vocals were killer and the drums were like thunder and that metal fans would like it, Someone else said the guitar playing is really great. But what I remember most is when the bass player uttered these simple words “Buy It…It’s Good”.

Now its forty years later and that sentence makes even more sense. The new album by Burning Starr “Souls of the Innocent“, the band Jack Starr founded in 1984 is on its tenth album… Yes they have gotten better …Yes they have thunderous drums provided by Rhino (former drummer of Manowar) and yes they have killer vocals that some would describe as “pillar crumbling” provided by Alexx Panza, and yes again they have massive and agile playing by long time Burning Starr bassist Ned Meloni …last but not least some great guitar playing by ex-Virgin Steele guitarist Jack Starr.

But after all the hype and catch phrases fade away, the bottom line still remains… and the words still ring true… “Buy it…It’s Good”

SOURCE OF RAGE have released a video for “Purify Me”, the first single from their upcoming new studio album “Witness The Mess” which will be released on 22.07. via Metalville Records (Rough Trade).

The band from Hildesheim (near Hannover) stands for melodic groove metal. For danceable neckbreak together with the necessary technical finesse and catchy melodies. Just what makes the party mood and emotions spill over with a cold drink.

Oliver Roffmann and the three brothers Marko, Thilo and Riko Krause complement each other perfectly, which led to them winning the German final of the Wacken Open Air Metal Battles in 2019.

The tracks on the new album are intended to further establish the band’s own sub-genre and to create a unique selling point with their own sound as well as the content-related themes of the songs, which allows them to stand out from the large mass of good modern metal bands.

WILDSTREET’s massive album ‘III’ has racked up over 1.8 million streams on Spotify since its release in June 2021. After spending most of the year on tour in the US (100+ shows including Rockfest), the band also toured Europe, bringing their music to fans in Switzerland and France for the first time ever. They concluded the year by releasing their cover of ‘Mrs. Sleazy’, originally recorded by The 69 Eyes back in the 90s. WILDSTREET had a huge 2021 and are following suit in 2022 with their third studio album already in the works.
