Irish RAUM KINGDOM Sign With Argonauta Records, Working on New Album

Irish atmospheric Post-Metal, Sludge and Doom quartet RAUM KINGDOM has announced its worldwide signing with Argonauta Records. Following their impressive debut album, ‘Everything & Nothing‘ (2016), which has been lauded by both fans and international music press alike, RAUM KINGDOM are currently working on the release of their sophomore full-length album.

“It is with great pleasure that Raum Kingdom can announce it’s teaming up the legendary Argonauta Records for our upcoming release,“ the band states. ” It will take a great deal of the reasonability of some aspects of the release of the record and let Raum Kingdom focus on what they love doing. We look foward to the relationship in the Future! “

Argonauta Records owner, Gero Lucisano, says: “I’ve been lucky enough to know the band thanks to their stellar opus ‘Everything & Nothing’, an album dense of emotion and definitely captivating, thanks to its perfect blend of darkness and hope. When I got the chance to hear the new songs, I told myself their sophomore album would have been the perfect addition to the label catalog. Raum Kingdom’s new effort is something beyond everything: emotive, melodic, atmospheric and hypnotizing. A musical journey for our deep senses.”

RAUM KINGDOM started out in late 2013 on the east coast of Ireland when singer Dave Lee and guitarist Andrew Colohan set out to create a soul crushing experience of sonics. When long time friends; bassist Ronan Connor and drummer Mark Gilchrist joined the line up, the project was ready to express itself. The dark driven RAUM KINGDOM had found the creative force and sound to start producing music that has gained the band an impressive following in Europe, UK, Canada, The States and Japan. Exploring their collective passion for all heavy genres of music, the four-piece began to channel that energy into what would turn out to be RAUM KINGDOM’s first, self-titled five track EP, self-released in April 2014. Taken unawares by the instant and positive critical response, RAUM KINGDOM‘s ability to resound with their audience comes from their heart for turning negativity into positivity and the ethos of having a blast doing what they have a passion for. To date, the band has completed numerous shows on the Euro circuit, and released an EP, a split EP with Belgian group All We Expected, and their much acclaimed debut album ‘Everything & Nothing’, a one hour sonic journey of redemtion and hope.

After the sudden and sad passing of bass player Ronan Connor in March 2021, RAUM KINGDOM wanted to release their last recordings and writings in respect for Ronan’s memory. The band is now gearing up for their second studio album, showcasing the emotional peaks and valleys of a band matrured, and that will see the light of day via Argonauta Records soon.

DOEDSVANGR Unveil Live Video for ‘As The Rivers Bleed Their Blessings’

On March 26th, DOEDSVANGR played their release gig for their second album, “Serpents Ov Old“, at Røverstaden, Oslo. During this show, the first live incarnation of the song ‘As The Rivers Bleed Their Blessings‘ was professionally filmed by Carl Eek from Necrolust Productions.

In collaboration with Black Metal Promotion YouTube channel, DOEDSVANGR present the official video for this ferocious and aggressive composition.

Frontman Doedsadmiral comments:

“Shortly after the release gig, we decided to unleash a raw live video of the track ‘Black Dragon Phoenix‘. But now it is time to unveil a majestic beast, namely the professionally recorded live clip and official video for the track ‘As The Rivers Bleed Their Blessings‘. Watch how for the first time the rawness of DOEDSVANGR came alive. A trance like state of destruction. Feast in the rivers of poisonous waters!“

“Serpents Ov Old” was released on October 29th, 2021 on CD, vinyl and digitally and is available via the Debemur Morti Productions‘ EU, US, and Bandcamp shops.

DOEDSVANGR was founded in 2014 by Doedsadmiral with the specific intention of expressing raw brutality through music. He set the bar high when it came to his wish-list of people to work with, and in no time TSJUDER’sAntiChristian joined on drums, later to be joined by the infamous Shatraug (SARGEIST), thereby fulfilling Doedsadimral’s vision. The name DOEDSVANGR itself has two different meanings, and can mean both “fields of death” and “dead womb”.

In 2015 DOEDSVANGR signed a contract with Immortal Frost Productions and the band’s 2017 debut album, “Satan Ov Suns”, proved to be the perfect blend of Black Metal from Finland and Norway.

In 2019, BST (THE ORDER OF APOLLYON, ex-AOSOTH) joined DOEDSVANGR on guitar, and work commenced on the follow up album. Having inked a deal with Debemur Morti Productions, the new album, titled “Serpents Ov Old”, was released in late 2021.

DOEDSVANGR also signed with the booking agency Flaming Arts so that the band could progress to becoming a live entity.

Swedish power metal group KRILLOAN are back with the re-release of their dynamic EP Stories Of Times Forgotten, now available worldwide via Sliptrick Records. The songs on Stories Of Times Forgotten are fast, based on fast riffing, thundering drums and crowned by the epic vocals of Alex VanTrue. The EP includes five tracks that sum up the whole idea behind Krilloan, fast, hard and melodic power metal played at lightning speed. The songs make you want to pump your fist in the air and scream. The music is created and played out with a long and never-ending love of the genre whilst still retaining a fresh, vibrant and engaging sound.

TÓMARÚM have premiered their debut album, Ash in Realms of Stone Icons, in full via Decibel. Across Ash in Realms of Stone Icons’ seven songs TÓMARÚM merge both emotive progressive black metal and blistering technical death metal – with an emphasis on melancholic tremolo picked chords and aggressive pedal-point riffs – over precise and dynamic drumming accentuated by fretless bass, tasteful orchestrations, and a wide variety of vocal styles.

Ash in Realms of Stone Icons is now available on all streaming platforms.

Speaking on the album premiere, Kyle Walburn (guitars, vocals, programming) comments: “Almost five years after the first riffs were written, the day is upon us! We are beyond proud to unleash Ash in Realms of Stone Icons via Decibel in its entirety after thousands of hours of obsessive work. This record has been a passion project of mine since I was 19, and its creation has served as a coping mechanism during some of the most difficult times of my life. Having it complete and out into the world feels like a tremendous weight has been lifted; the ultimate catharsis after years of suffering.”

“The feedback we’ve received thus far has been incredibly humbling, and we cannot wait to see where this album takes us in the years to come. We will be celebrating its release with a string of shows; first up is our album release show at Boggs Social and Supply in Atlanta, where we will be playing the record in its entirety, and then later in the month we will be embarking on a short string of east coast dates with labelmates Dawn of Ouroboros. Plans for more touring are underway, and we are also very deep into the writing process for our next record.”

Formed in 2017, TÓMARÚM  – which translates from Icelandic to “empty space” – cover topics such as depression, anxiety, loss, and worthlessness over songs inspired equally by atmospheric black metal and technical death metal. The band’s 2020 debut EP, Wounds Ever Expanding, quickly generated an online buzz and garnered praise for its effective fusion of atmospheric black metal and technical death metal – after which Kyle Walburn and Brandon Iacovella (guitars, vocals, contrabass) set to work on Ash in Realms of Stone Icons.

The seven tracks on Ash in Realms of Stone Icons feature session bass from Arran McSporran of VIRVUM, session drums from Spencer Moore of INFERI, and a beautiful cover painted by Mariusz Lewandowski, and display TÓMARÚM at their sharpest and most vulnerable to date with Ash in Realms of Stone Icons being the ultimate declaration of intent from a band with their sights set on breaking barriers.

Upcoming TÓMARÚM live shows:
May 6 – Bogg’s Social & Supply – Atlanta, GA (Ash in Realms of Stone Icons release show)

Ash in Realms of Stone Icons release tour w/ Dawn of Ouroboros:
May 29 – Scandals – Virginia Beach, VA

June 1 – Saint Vitus – Brooklyn, NY
June 2 – Foto Club – Philadelphia, PA
