German heavy/power metal force SKULL & CROSSBONES celebrate the release of their new studio album “Time”, out today via Massacre Records (Digipak CD and Ltd. Vinyl LP).
To mark the occasion, the band present the new single “Passing Hours” — a reflective yet empowering anthem urging listeners to live in the here and now instead of dwelling in the past or worrying about the future.
“‘Passing Hours’is about embracing the present moment,” explains vocalist Tobias Hübner. “Time always moves on — you can’t change what’s gone or control what’s ahead, but you can live fully right now. That’s what this song stands for.”
“Time” dives deep into the human relationship with mortality, meaning, and the passage of existence. From the frustration of lost moments in “Time Thief “ to the search for enlightenment in “Eye Of Wisdom”, the album balances power and introspection across ten tracks filled with striking melodies, twin-guitar leads, and commanding vocals.
Produced by the band together with Marc Ayerle, who also handled mixing and mastering at KlangMAnufaktur, “Time” captures SKULL & CROSSBONES at their most mature and confident stage yet. The artwork was created by Michael Vetter, while additional keyboard arrangements on “Thunderstorm” and “The Ocean’s Call” were provided by Tobias Hübner.
With “Time”, SKULL & CROSSBONES deliver a timeless statement of strength, melody, and emotion — an album that bridges classic heavy/power metal roots with modern dynamics, taking listeners on a journey through the fleeting yet powerful moments that define life itself.

Rome-based thrash metal veterans ENEMYNSIDE strike back with a double-impact release: their new EP “In The Shadows Of Unrest”is out today, accompanied by the brand-new single and video “In The Shadows Of Unrest”, the title track that captures the heart of the record’s darkest themes.
The song dives deep into urban anxiety, emotional turmoil, and inner revolt. Relentless riffing, tight grooves, and cutting vocal lines shape a track that reflects modern unrest and turns tension into raw thrash aggression.
The EP was crafted between two of Rome’s leading studios: drums and bass were recorded at Kick Recording Studio, while guitars and vocals were tracked at Temple Of Gravity Studios. The material then returned to Marco “Cinghio” Mastrobuono at Kick for final mixing and mastering, forging a sharp, powerful, and contemporary sonic identity. Artwork by Diyaco Paymazd mirrors the intensity and unease that permeate the record.
With this new release, ENEMYNSIDE reaffirm their status as a relentless force in international thrash—blending old-school roots with modern ferocity, precision, and a renewed sense of urgency.

Mid-west Heavy Metal torchbearers SACRED LEATHER are back with the 3rd single, ‘Fallen Angel,’ from their eagerly awaited, new album, Keep The Fire Burning, that’s due out December 12th via King Volume Records / Wise Blood Records. Forged in fire, the hellion five-piece have returned with a ferocious new song and video that delves into the mind of the prince of darkness.
Commenting on the track, bassist Magnus LeGrand says,
“When we wrote ‘Fallen Angel,’ it immediately felt like a callback to an era when metal songs had both hooks and teeth — something big, melodic, yet still dangerous. That track set the stage for what Keep the Fire Burning would become. Dee’s lyrics step inside Lucifer’s head, turning his fall from grace into something deeply human — the loneliness, the pride, and the weight of one’s own choices.
Visually, I wanted the video to conjure the haunting, biblical imagery found in the lyrics themselves — smoke, fire, and mystery, all wrapped in that classic ’80s metal grandeur. Think ‘Holy Diver’ meets ‘Dream Warriors,’ but filtered through our own world, with its own identity.”
SACRED LEATHER set the underground ablaze with their debut album, Ultimate Force. Seven years later the beast is back with a unrelenting, classic metal masterpiece that recalls a time when tight leather and heavy riffs ruled the world. The band recently released their explosive singles ‘Spitfire At Night‘ and ‘Phantom Highways,’ setting the tone for their headbanging followup.
Forged in the fires of classic heavy metal and baptized in the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll rebellion, Sacred Leather stands as a defiant reminder that true metal never dies. Hailing from the American Midwest, the band delivers an unrelenting assault of twin-guitar fury, thunderous rhythms, and commanding vocals that channel the essence of leather, chains, and midnight highways.
Following their 2017 full-length debut Ultimate Force, which established them as torchbearers of traditional heavy metal’s resurgence, Sacred Leather return with their long-awaited sophomore album Keep the Fire Burning, due December 2025 through King Volume Records and Wise Blood Records. The album is both a declaration and a promise—rekindling the spirit that started it all while pushing their sound into sharper, more melodic, and more anthemic territory.
With Keep the Fire Burning, the band expands on their reputation for electrifying live performances and unflinching authenticity. Drawing from the steel-plated legacy of Judas Priest, Accept, and early W.A.S.P., Sacred Leather blend classic metal tradition with cinematic flair, evoking the neon glow of midnight highways and the danger of the unknown.

Portentum is a gripping exploration of humanity’s recurring struggles, societal upheaval, and the omens that have shaped our world. The album delves into cycles of conflict, the consequences of unchecked exploitation, and the tension between human ambition and its destructive potential, painting a dark and immersive vision of a world on the brink.
With Portentum, Imperial Domain deliver a melodic death metal statement that fuses aggression, atmosphere, and sharp social commentary, reinforcing their status as one of Sweden’s most compelling extreme acts.
To celebrate the occasion, the band released a new video:
Recorded in the heart of the Garden Route, this self-produced anthem delivers raw emotion and rebellious spirit.
South African hard rock powerhouse Betty’s Nuklear are back with their explosive new single, Beach Blood — a track that perfectly captures the band’s fearless energy and uncompromising attitude.
Formed in 2020, Betty’s Nuklear have built a loyal following across the Garden Route and beyond, known for their dynamic, timeless vocals, nostalgic shredding solos, and a hard-hitting rhythm section that keeps fans coming back for more. With Beach Blood, they channel that same intensity into a song that hits as hard emotionally as it does sonically.
Inspired by their hometown and the people who’ve supported them since day one, Beach Blood is both a love letter and a battle cry. “The music-hungry fans that we’ve acquired over the last five years have been there every step of the way — and always supported us, even when the venues did not,” the band shares.
At its core, Beach Blood is “an anthem to people who are tired of being spoon-fed nonsense by the world, and just want to feel something real — feel something better.” Robust, honest, strong, and daring, the song is a reminder of what Betty’s Nuklear stand for: raw truth and real connection.
The track was born in the band’s jam room, “We took that inspiration and beat that nail until the concept was born,” says vocalist Chad Abnett, who channels the emotion of the music into lyrics that reflect the genuine human experience. “It’s about deciphering the feelings of the song and personifying them in a way that’s real — something people can feel deep down.”
True to their DIY ethos, Beach Blood was recorded at the band’s own home studio in Hoekville, nestled deep in the valleys of the Garden Route. The process — powered by guitarist Darragh Concannon and his “beautiful mind,” as the band affectionately puts it — has evolved over time into a tight, collaborative effort. One-on-one tracking sessions capture every nuance of their sound, leading to a product that’s both polished and full of heart.
With Beach Blood, Betty’s Nuklear have crafted a bold statement — a rallying cry for authenticity in a world that often feels artificial. Join the movement. Join the Nuklear family.
