‘No More Lies’ is the brand-new single by Let ShadeS Do, out today on all digital platforms via Volcano Records, and on YouTube with a music video full of dark and esoteric imagery.
Let ShadeS Do is a metal project born from the visionary creativity of guitarist and singer Alex Under (real name Domenico Di Girolamo), who, together with singer and songwriter Candice Hellish (aka Elisa Porcu), started from Italy and had the drive and talent to bring together a team of top-tier artists and professionals from the international scene to create a deep and multi-layered work. No More Lies, the band’s third single released through Volcano Records, features legendary vocalist Zachary “Zak” Stevens, frontman of the iconic Savatage, and showcases a stunning guitar duel between the incredible Neil Zaza and the talented Alex Under. Rounding out the lineup are bassist Oliver Holzwarth (Sieges Even, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire) and drummer Enrico “Chan Choosy” Cianciusi (Headless, Neil Zaza Band), a rhythm section that brings the song the energy and power it deserves.
The ‘No More Lies’ video continues the storyline introduced in the band’s previous singles, Lost and A New Unworld—the latter featuring a guest appearance by well-known adult film actress Roberta Gemma. The narrative follows mysterious characters in a dystopian world filled with magical and occult elements—yet eerily similar to our own—as they move inevitably toward a final reckoning.

Danish melodeath band WITHERING SURFACE decided to record a live cover version as a tribute to At The Gates’ Tomas “Tompa” Lindberg, who passed away on the 16th of October. Tompa and At The Gates were a huge inspiration for Withering Surface. “Under A Serpent Sun” is s song Withering Surface performed live many times during the late 90s and early 2000s, so recording it felt natural and like coming home.
“Back in the day, when we formed Withering Surface, I discovered At The Gates”, says Allan Tvedebrink, founding member, composer and guitarist in Withering Surface. “One year later, they released “Slaughter Of The Soul”, which to this day is still one of my top three albums of all time. The others differ from time to time, but “Slaughter of the Soul” remains. It’s timeless and it’s perfect… So is the legacy of At The Gates. They have had a massive influence on me, our band and on the entire genre throughout the years. It was obvious to us that we should cover “Under a Serpent Sun” when we played live in the nineties and it was obvious for us to revisit it and to record a live version as a tribute to Tomas Lindberg who tragically passed away on Tuesday, October 16th. We will forever miss Tompa and his awesome being and we will forever have his music and inspiration with us going forward”.
Recorded, mixed and mastered by Jakob Møller Gundel. October 2025. This official video captures de recording session.

Norwegian gothic rock act MALICE IN WONDERLAND is set to reopen the gates to one of their most iconic songs. On December 2, the band releases a newly reimagined 2025 version of “Lucifer’s Town” — a cult classic that once defined their early sound and became a phenomenon during the golden era of MySpace.
Originally released in 2005, “Lucifer’s Town” quickly gained traction worldwide, earning over one million MySpace plays at a time when the platform served as a global discovery hub for dark alternative music. The track became a cornerstone of the band’s identity, blending cinematic melancholy with soaring hooks and the signature dark romanticism that has followed Malice In Wonderland throughout their career.
Now, 20 years later, the band revisits the anthem with a modern edge. The 2025 version is newly arranged, newly recorded, and shaped for the band’s milestone anniversary, bringing out the raw power, emotional depth, and atmospheric drama that fans have carried with them for two decades.
“We wanted to honour what the song meant to us and to the fans, while giving it the energy, grit and production it always deserved,” says frontman Chris Wicked. “This isn’t only nostalgia — it’s resurrection.”
The new release marks a key moment in the band’s ongoing 20-year anniversary celebration, which includes re-recordings, archival content, and new material highlighting the legacy of Malice In Wonderland’s golden era. With its blend of haunting melodies, cinematic tension, and nocturnal beauty, “Lucifer’s Town (2025)” stands as both a tribute to the past and a bold step into the future — a perfect entry point for long-time followers and new listeners discovering the band for the first time.
“Lucifer’s Town (Revisited)” will be available on all major streaming platforms on December 2, 2025.

Australia’s hard rock renegades fire off their most explosive original track, “Stealing Our Freedom”, from their forthcoming album, “Something Borrowed…Something New,” due out December 5th, 2025, from Rockshots Records, marking their most authentic and organic release to date.
“Stealing Our Freedom” is a protest-anthem with teeth: rootsy acoustic intro, a razor-sharp riff that hits like mid-90s Megadeth, and lyrics that call out political distrust, land exploitation and personal liberties slipping away. Recorded fully live at Black Lodge Studio, no click, no edits, no digital makeup, just four guys in a room turning frustration into rock’n’roll fire. Crank it loud!
Produced by the band and engineered by Joel Taylor at Black Lodge Studio (Melbourne), “Something Borrowed…Something New” represents a turning point in Greystone Canyon’s journey. As the title suggests, it’s a hybrid record – a mix of new original songs and hand-picked classics from the bands that shaped their sound, including Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, UFO, and Neil Young. The album bridges past and present, combining heartfelt tributes with fresh, road-worn originals such as “Drives Us,” “Friend of the Fox,” and “Stealing Our Freedom”.
Vocalist/guitarist Darren Cherry comments:
“This is our most honest record so far, real instruments, real performances, all captured live in one room. We wanted to remind listeners of the warmth and punch that only true rock bands can create together. It’s pure, old-school energy, and we had an absolute blast making it.”
Following the success of “Iron & Oak” (2024), which reached #18 on the Australian iTunes Hard Rock chart and earned multiple 10/10 media scores, the band is poised to bring their music to a new global audience with a record that’s equal parts homage and evolution.
Recommended for fans of Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, and ZZ Top, Greystone Canyon‘s new album “Something Borrowed…Something New” is out December 5th, 2025

When the going gets tough, metal gets heavier. SYLOSIS have always been devoted to the fine art of breaking necks, but in recent times, the urgency of their mission has grown exponentially. Still surfing on a wave of acclaim and the effusive fan response to their last album, 2023’s A Sign Of Things To Come, Josh Middleton’s virtuoso wrecking crew are poised to release their latest and best album, The New Flesh. A towering testament to destructive riffing, incisive melody and refined brute force, the band’s seventh full-length offering is a powerful showcase for the state of SYLOSIS in 2025: lethal, uncompromising, and avowedly metal as all hell.
The New Flesh is a fearsome statement of renewed intent. Harder, heavier and more ruthless than its predecessor, it is full of the kind of explosive, riff-driven anthems that guarantee carnage in the pit. But this is no exercise in mindless bludgeon: instead, Josh Middleton has penned his most evocative and thought-provoking songs to date. From the punishing grooves and breakneck viciousness of the opening ‘Beneath The Surface’, to the epic conflagration of album closer ‘Seeds In The River’, The New Flesh is an artful and nuanced take on the pure metal that SYLOSIS hold close to their hearts. This is brutality and catchiness in perfect symbiosis.
Dark and destructive, but dynamic and diligent, SYLOSIS are on blistering, career-best form on The New Flesh. The purposeful reset that began with The Sign Of Things To Come has evolved into something unstoppable, and the band’s latest work brims with confidence and authority. If it’s skull-shattering, 21st century heavy metal you want, The New Flesh brings it like never before.
