Fresh off of leaving a mark on their fiery debut, Ponte Del Diavolo are fanning the flames with their upcoming second album. De Venom Natura pushes the band’s potent blend of black metal and post-punk into an intoxicating trance. Forged in the fires of the band’s ritualistic performances at Roadburn and Inferno Festival, lead single, “Spirit, Blood, Poison, Ferment!”, distills its poisonous essence into a feverish hymn of decay and rebirth.

“This song was among the first written for our new album”, says Ponte Del Diavolo. “It powerfully marks the transition from our previous work to now. Featured guest Francesco Bucci of Ottone Pesante adds apocalyptic nuances that intensify the song’s atmosphere”.

De Venom Natura comes out February 13, 2026 on Season of Mist. Pre-order & Pre-save: https://orcd.co/pontedeldiavolovenomnatura

“Spirit, Blood, Poison, Ferment!” encapsulates the potency of Ponte Del Diavolo’s patented blackened post-punk. Erba del Diavolo’s enchantments slither beneath spiky riffs, entangled bass lines, a ritualistic pounding of drums and curious bursts from Bucci’s trombone.

The song’s video was filmed and edited by Underroom Studio and stars Davide Straccione. Along with being the vocalist for Shores of Null, Straccione is a long-time friend and collaborator of Ponte Del Diavolo. He first appeared on the band’s debut album, Fire Blades from the Tomb, where he contributed guest vocals to their cover of “Weeping Song” by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Tracklist:

  1. Every Tongue Has Its Thorns (6:25)
  2. Lunga vita alla necrosi (4:01)
  3. Spirit, Blood, Poison, Ferment! (4:36) [WATCH]
  4. Il veleno della Natura (4:58)
  5. Delta-9 (161) (8:52)
  6. Silence Walk With Me (6:17)
  7. In the Flat Field (4:54)
    Full runtime: 40:02

PONTE DEL DIAVOLO craft a focused blend of doom, black metal, post‐punk, and wave—an aesthetic they call “blackened post‐punk.” Wave‐tinged female vocals anchor the project’s flaming core, supported by an uncommon dual‐bass setup that grounds the rhythmic guitars and a raw, dynamic drum pulse.

The result is an immersive, tension‐driven sound. Following the initial release of three EPs, the band signed to Season of Mist and unveiled their first full-length album, Fire Blades from the Tomb.

After two years on the road – appearing at leading European festivals such as Roadburn and Inferno in support of their debut – Ponte del Diavolo return with “De Venom Natura,” a record that extends and refines their musical boundaries.

WILL O’ DUSK Present Debut Album “The Long Lasting Dusk”, Out This Friday

With a sound that blends Southern Rock grit, Post-Grunge intensity, Hard Rock power, and Glam flair, Italian quartet WILL O’ DUSK present their debut album, The Long Lasting Dusk, arriving on November 28th, 2025 via Diotima Records. Conceived as a visceral and cinematic journey, the record explores the fragile balance between destruction and renewal, solitude and belonging.

“The Long Lasting Dusk” is conceived as a two-act journey. The first act, “The Descent”, explores the recognition of pain, the embrace of destruction, and the collapse into darkness. The second, Resurgence, rises from chaos toward resilience, light, and communion. From the brutal intensity of “Lucifer’s Tears” to the playful brightness of “Slowmo” and the communal closing hymn “Last Drop”, the album embraces the coexistence of shadow and brightness not as opposites, but as inseparable truths of the human experience.

The concept reflects the band’s own ethos: dusk as a place where contradictions meet — a moment suspended between good and evil, loss and rebirth. “Dusk is where light and shadow coexist,” says the band. “It’s not about erasing the dark, but about embracing both sides to truly find yourself.”

Pre-order the album HERE: https://bfan.link/the-long-lasting-dusk

Musically, WILL O’ DUSK craft songs that are layered and haunting, yet immediate in their impact. Their sound is steeped in contrasts: intimacy and explosion, vulnerability and defiance, cinematic atmospheres and raw edges.

The lineup features Riccardo Maria Barchiesi (vocals), Danilo Casali (guitars), Stefano Grossi (bass), and Luca Gambazza (drums). Together, they create a sonic and emotional landscape where listeners are invited to move through darkness toward light — to find in dusk not just an ending, but the will to face a new dawn.

With “The Long Lasting Dusk” WILL O’ DUSK offer more than a collection of songs: they deliver an odyssey of contradictions, crafted for the misfits and the dreamers who recognize themselves in twilight. It is an album about survival and communion, about confronting shadows without fear, and about finding beauty in imperfection.

SODOM Announce Deluxe Expanded Re-Issue Editions of Cult 1994 Album “Get What You Deserve”

SODOM in 1994

Hard, Mangy, Antisocial – You Get What You Deserve!

“What the hell are you bums wasting my money on?!” roared the legendary — and in 2025 deceased — SPV boss Manfred Schütz, yelling down the phone on an already rainy autumn day. On the other end of the line: Sodom.

In 1993, the legendary lineup of Tom Angelripper (bass, vocals), Andy Brings (guitar) and Atomic Steif (drums). Before the three musicians’ instantly horizontal hairdos had even fallen back onto their shoulders, the old-school record boss barked again: “We’re not putting this album out like that — end of discussion!”

Yet the blood-soaked scene from an unknown Düsseldorf hotel room, with its many hints toward the songs on Get What You Deserve, fit perfectly with the music of Sodom’s sixth studio album — a 16-track chunk of fury with which the band defiantly stood against the musical zeitgeist of the early ’90s. Andy Brings: “Back then every band suddenly wanted to be Pantera or Machine Head. Incredibly clean, sterile, and technically perfect. We didn’t. Couldn’t, weren’t, didn’t want to!” Band leader Tom Angelripper adds: “With Get What You Deserve we wanted to return to our roots — more Venom, more Motörhead. Andy’s punk roots also came through stronger, which was right up my alley. Short songs, maximum impact, straight in your face — the way it should be!”

A few months earlier, Sodom had released the Aber Bitte Mit Sahne EP — partly to introduce their new drummer Atomic Steif, and partly to have fresh songs ready for the upcoming Christmas Metal Meetings Tour at the end of 1993 with Motörhead, Kreator and Entombed. The EP also served as a test run for what would become a fruitful collaboration with then-unknown producer Wolfgang Stach, who would go on to major success with Guano Apes, Jupiter Jones, and BAP.

The new lineup unleashed unexpected power within Sodom. The songs came together quickly and were recorded in record time — raw and wild, yet incredibly tight. Brings: “There’s nothing nice about this album — not the sound, not the lyrics. It wasn’t supposed to be. It was meant to be completely unfriendly. The others were the polished ones.” Angelripper: “With Atomic Steif on drums, we became an unstoppable machine — in the studio and on stage. It breaks our hearts that he passed away far too soon on August 31, 2025, at only 57, and can’t witness how songs like Jabba The Hutt, Sodomized, and Silence Is Consent are being rediscovered and loved again. He was the German Dave Lombardo — an incredible drummer!”

Thirty-two years later, this snarling beast is being unleashed on the metal community once again. A timeless punch to the gut — or, as Maik Weichert, guitarist and mastermind of German metalcore heroes Heaven Shall Burn, puts it: “The best punk album of the nineties!”

Get What You Deserve will be released as an extensive box set, remastered and newly mixed by Andy Brings, including the remastered and remixed Aber Bitte Mit Sahne EP, plus the first concert with Atomic Steif as a bonus double LP and a DVD with additional live shows. Alongside the original hotel room cover, the package also includes the censored version with the band photo and the originally planned artwork featuring a Knarrenheinz painting by cult artist Andreas Marschall. Andy Brings: “I wanted to strip the album — which already had almost no additives and zero ballast — down to the absolute maximum. No samples, no tricks, just a very pissed-off band at the peak of its creative energy.” Tom Angelripper: “Over 30 years ago, we went against the current with this album — and we’re doing it again today. Nothing sounds like this record, and that makes me proud. Get What You Deserve was, is, and will always be the sound of pure defiance. My personal favorite Sodom album!

Get What You Deserve will be released on February 27, 2026 via BMG and is available for pre-order now. The first single, “Sodomized,” was the first song written by the new lineup in 1993.

The accompanying video, made from Brings’ private footage of the Christmas Metal Meetings Tour, features not only the band but also Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead and other legendary musicians.

PHANTOMS OF FUTURE Unveil Official Video for ‘Werewolf’

Germany’s cult rock band PHANTOMS OF FUTURE unveil the official video for their first single “Werewolf”, a shapeshifting surge of guitars, obsidian synths and low-light drama that captures the record’s central obsessions: instinct over reason, desire as danger, and the thrill of becoming someone – or something -else when the night drops.

STREAM/PURCHASE “Werewolf”: https://save-it.cc/massacre/werewolf

“‘Werewolf’ is the spark that lights the fire,” says frontman Sir Hannes Smith. “It’s about surrendering to transformation and finding out who you are when the rules fall away. ‘Forever Dark’ is us without apology — wide awake, electric, alive.”

PHANTOMS OF FUTURE’s new album, “Forever Dark”, will be released on December 5, 2025, via Massacre Records, available as Digipak CD and Limited Vinyl LP. The record unfolds across thirteen songs that explore transformation, desire, estrangement, and illumination — from the nocturnal urgency of “Werewolf” to the uplifting drive of “Spirit Of Love”.

Pre-order the album HERE: https://massacre-records.com/phantoms_of_future_forever_dark_sale/

Track listing:

  1. Werewolf
  2. Spirit Of Love
  3. Phantom Rider
  4. Think About
  5. Devil Inside
  6. Forever Dark
  7. Forbidden Fruits
  8. Stocking Girl
  9. Prisoner
  10. I Don’t Believe You
  11. Bloody Tears
  12. Feel The Rain
  13. Underground Surfer

Tracked and mixed at Soundlodge Studio in Rhauderfehn with producer/engineer Jörg Uken, and co-produced by Smith, the album tempers menace with melody and grit with cinematic sweep. Across thirteen songs, PHANTOMS OF FUTURE fold cold-glow electronics into taut rock architecture, letting texture do as much storytelling as the lyrics. The visual world, designed by Gee with layout by LividDeath, mirrors that mood: stark, luminous, and built for after-hours. The studio lineup—Sir Hannes Smith on vocals, special instruments and lyrics; Olaf Oebels on keys, loops and samples; Peter “Pepe” Stein on bass; Viva on drums; and Anselm Tripptrap on guitars—records like a unit that has learned to leave air where the song needs to breathe, then hit with precision when the impact matters. An additional recording and mix for “I Don’t Believe You,” handled by Dieter Steffen and Olaf Oebels at Luna Tonstudio in Lüdinghausen, extends the album’s palette without breaking its atmosphere.

The release also marks a new chapter for a band with a singular history. Across the ’90s, PHANTOMS OF FUTURE built a reputation for immersive, magical-mystical shows, playing more than eight hundred gigs and sharing stages with Iggy Pop, The Stranglers, Sisters of Mercy, Sex Pistols, Cypress Hill, The Prodigy and others. They sent their track “SUN” into the German DAC Top 3 beside Metallica and Nirvana, contributed the first official Sea Shepherd soundtrack with “Sea Warrior,” and unsettled television waters with “Mary Jane.” After stepping out of the spotlight, they return not as a heritage act but as a creative force intent on pushing their myth forward.

To mark the occasion, PHANTOMS OF FUTURE announce a special album-release show at Piano in Dortmund on December 6, 2025, with further dates to follow.

“Some bands chase daylight,” Smith adds with a grin. “We’ve always preferred the hour when everything glows. That’s where these songs live. That’s where we live.”

PHANTOMS OF FUTURE are
Sir Hannes Smith – Vocals, Special Instruments & lyrics
Olaf Oebels – Keys, Loops and Samples
Peter “Pepe” Stein – Bass
Viva – Drums
Anselm Tripptrap – Guitars

RUNNING WILD to Re-Issue Classic Albums “Death Or Glory” + “Blazon Stone”, Out 13th February

Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: RUNNING WILD. Leave a comment

Heavy metal outfit Running Wild have announced the re-issue of their two classic albums Death Or Glory and Blazon Stone on very limited picture disc vinyl via Hammerheart Records.

Pre-orders are now available here: https://hammerheart.lnk.to/runningwildreissues

Death Or Glory (1989) is the pinnacle of Running Wild’s career and one of the best heavy/power/speed metal albums ever made. The vocals, lyricism, drums and guitar/bass playing here have no equal in their later or earlier efforts. It’s a passionate and epic project of legendary proportions, one of such albums that can be correctly labeled a “classic”. Death or Glory is seminal heavy metal, and a war cry against the oncoming hordes of emerging death metal bands. Classic metal songwriting will always have a place in metal regardless of current trends and developing styles.

After the classic Death Or Glory, Running Wild decided to speed things up without sacrificing the melody of their previous albums. The result was 1991’s Blazon Stone. It became their best-selling album to date, due to the critical success of Port Royal and Death Or Glory.

Running Wild rarely gets the recognition it deserves. What began as a band has become a focused force still burning with the spirit of its prime. Many creators change over time, and Running Wild is no exception. Few in metal history have delivered so many powerful albums across nearly a decade, a legacy that still commands respect.

Track-list:
1. Riding the Storm
2. Renegade
3. Evilution
4. Running Blood
5. Highland Glory (The Eternal Fight)
6. Marooned
7. Bad to the Bone
8. Tortuga Bay
9. Death or Glory
10. Battle of Waterloo

Track-list:
1. Blazon Stone
2. Lonewolf
3. Slavery
4. Fire & Ice
5. Little Big Horn
6. White Masque
7. Rolling Wheels
8. Bloody Red Rose
9. Straigh to Hell
10. Heads or Tails

MICHAEL MONROE Release New Video/ Single ‘Disconnected’ from Upcoming Album

Michael Monroe releases the irresistibly anthemic second single ‘Disconnected’ from forthcoming new studio album Outerstellar, set for release on February 20th via Silver Lining Music. For pre-orders go to this location.

‘Disconnected’ speaks of something that Michael Monroe feels passionately about: that live music is a rare and vital space for people to find each other in the moment.

“Technology was supposed to bring people closer together, when, in fact, people are more disconnected than ever. They’re looking at their phones and their computers and downloading stuff” comments Michael Monroe. “And, you know, the Internet can’t take away the experience of being at a live show. You’re on stage, and you communicate with the audience who are there, in that moment. That‘s where the magic really happens, and absolutely no program or device or computer can reproduce that!”

Watch/Listen to ‘Disconnected’ here – video by Leigh Brooks.

The new album Outerstellar, is an experience as much as a collection of great songs, a sweet smelling, leathery, glitter-shimmered, sweat-soaked raunch and punch wrapped in one of the great voices in rock ‘n’ roll. The harmonies and vibes roll effortlessly in silk scarves, lounging in leather pants with liquor and a smile on a beat-up sofa in those small AM hours. And the sheer attitude, which screams carefree (not careless!) confidence (not arrogance!), a cocksure sense of self-bathed in the sheer joy of playing real rock ‘n’ roll the right way.

The recently released first video and single, ‘Rockin’ Horse’, is a defiant blast against critics and judges and comes with one of the craziest Michael Monroe videos you’ve ever seen. “I am who I am and I’m not going to edit myself for your benefit,” Michael says unequivocally for anyone who might doubt that fact.

Watch/Listen to ‘Rockin’ Horse’ here – video by Leigh Brooks.

Outerstellar Track Listing:

  1. Rockin’ Horse
  2. Shinola
  3. Black Cadillac
  4. When the Apocalypse Comes
  5. Painless
  6. Newtro Bombs
  7. Disconnected
  8. Precious
  9. Pushin’ Me Back
  10. Glitter & Dust
  11. Rode To Ruin
  12. One More Sunrise

From loud crashing guitars to harmonicas, to gorgeous acoustic moments, you’ll sing, you’ll dance, you’ll shiver, you’ll shake, and you’ll smell this wonderful exhilarating record in all its weathered biker jacket incense-coated glory and you’ll also realize that whatever the hell is going on in the world right now, when you put this album on, it’s an instant escape to carefree days and an emancipation from worries, fears and woes.

Outerstellar will see a whole burst of life onstage when Michael Monroe and the band bring it to stages internationally over the next year. It is EXACTLY what rock ‘n’ roll in its truest sense is meant to be, in fact, just stop reading this, get off your ‘Rockin’ Horse’ and go see Michael Monroe on tour at your first opportunity! In support of the release of Outerstellar, Michael Monroe and band will embark on a UK co-headline tour with Buckcherry, kicking off in Southampton on February 24th. For a full list of upcoming shows and tickets visit: michaelmonroe.com – more dates to be announced.
