WILDSTREET had a huge 2021 and are set to follow suit in 2022.
Having released their stunning new album WildstreetIII via Golden Robot Records in mid 2021, the band spent most of last year on tour in the USA, which included Rockfest WI, but remarkably, they also toured in Europe performing at Swiss Rock Cruise in Switzerland, France and Belgium. Additionally, they’ve just announced they’ll be hitting the US road again from this March (tour info included further below).
Today, WILDSTREET have digitally released 2 new singles, ‘One Tattoo’ and ‘Born to Be (RLK)’, with accompanying lyric videos. Both tracks were originally dropped in 2014 under the name RAVE LA KILL.
‘One Tattoo’ is an electronic love song which is slick and modern.
On ‘Born To Be (RLK)’, the song structure is identical to the version on Wildstreet III. This version has a more modern and electronic vibe, with all the arena hooks one would expect from WILDSTREET. Both singles were mixed by Kyle Kelso and mastered by Howie Weinberg.
After WILDSTREET reportedly broke up in 2013, Eric Jayk and co-founder Jimmie Marlowe teamed up with New Jersey guitarist/vocalist Felix Skiver & using the pseudonym RAVE LA KILL. The project released two singles in 2014, ‘Born to Be’ & ‘One Tattoo.’‘Born to Be’ was later re-recorded and released as part of Wildstreet III, released in 2021, (the album garnering 1.8 million streams on Spotify). They also released a cover of THE 69 EYES classic ‘Mrs. Sleazy.’

Blackie Lawless commenting on rescheduling the 2022 European tour, “With enormous frustration I’m forced to announce W.A.S.P. must postpone the 2022 European leg of the 40th Anniversary World Tour. This hideous pandemic that’s striped people of their freedom and lives, that’s caused countless artist’s to cancel or postpone shows for years, once again has reared its vicious head to claim us… again! For years we’ve worked really hard to make this tour our celebration, for not only for the fans, but for all of us involved. I’m sad, mad, tired and pissed off, but I’ll quote from the great W.E. Henley’s poem Invictus, “My Head is Bloody, But Unbowed”. That’s what I want from all of you, to go beyond this place of pain and loss, and NEVER bow to this THING! Our U.S. dates will continue as planned – BUT – WE WILL see you all next year Europe!!!”

VEIN.FM will release their new album “This World Is Going to Ruin You” on March 4 via Closed Casket Activities, outside of North America the record is released through Nuclear Blast Records under exclusive license from Closed Casket Activities. Pre-order it here. The album follows 2018’s “Errorzone”.
Today, the band has shared the new track ‘Wavery’. Along with the song, the band delivers also a new music video. Watch it here.
“‘Wavery’ enters some newly charted, yet strangely familiar sonic territory forVEIN.FM,” the band says. “Lyrically, it’s about allowing yourself to let go of what’s keeping you safe, as well as what’s holding you back. It’s a psychological journey to your fully realized self.”The band has previously shared “Fear in Non Fiction.” The song features Thursday singer Geoff Rickly. Listen here.
The band has previously shared “Fear in Non Fiction.” The song features Thursday singer Geoff Rickly. Listen here. VEIN.FM shared the video for “The Killing Womb.” Watch it here. The announcement release was heralded by Pitchfork, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, Revolver, Loudwire, MetalSucks, NME and beyond — a further indication that “This World Is Going to Ruin You” is one of the most anticipated releases of 2022.
“This World Is Going to Ruin You” was recorded with Grammy-winning producer Will Putney of Graphic Nature Audio in April 2020, just weeks into a global shutdown. Featuring guest appearances from artists Geoff Rickly, Jeff Smith, and BONES, as well as the original artwork and typography of Autumn Morgan, “This World Is Going to Ruin You”is a fully-realized version of the band’s darker and more disgusting inception of metallic hardcore.
While the band’s full-length debut “Errorzone” received praise from Pitchfork, which stated that it “sets the tone for one of the year’s most exhilarating heavy records…” “This World Is Going to Ruin You” will be hailed as its own formidable beast. “Every release is like its own universe,” the band explains. “On “Errorzone”, we made a departure into another universe, sonically and visually. It was very futuristic and high-energy, and there were lots of elements we tapped into in order to fulfill our vision of that universe”. In that sense, “This World Is Going to Ruin You” is not a return to the band’s roots so much as a more fully realized version of them. “But it’s not a contrived nostalgia trip. We’re just naturally taking that part of the band to a fuller potential,” vocalist Anthony DiDio explains. “‘Errorzone’ was entering another world, while this record is VEIN.FM coming home.“
Lyrically, “This World Is Going to Ruin You” describes the human condition through a birth-to-death timeline. “I was coming from a very anti-social mentality,” DiDio says. “I want people to completely disconnect and have their own personal journey through this album.“
THIS WORLD IS GOING TO RUIN YOU TRACK LISTING: “Welcome Home” “The Killing Womb“ “Versus Wyoming” “Fear in Non Fiction“ “Lights Out” “Wherever You Are” “Magazine Beach” “Inside Design” “Hellnight” “Orgy in The Morgue” “Wavery“ “Funeral Sound”

Wanikiya Record/Promotion is pleased to present the legendary ANGUISH FORCE entering the roster of the Wanikiya family, with the eighth regular album “The W8 Of The Future”, which will be released on February 25 on all the best music stores in digital version, on our official store and also on our store in Japan!
After years of oblivion (from 1988 to 1994), spent writing pieces without having a band, in 1995, the guitarist LGD (Luigi Guarino D.), formed the first and precarious formation of ANGUISH FORCE, then known only as ANGUISH. LGD’s intent was to play the kind of music, with which he had grown up in the glorious 80’s and that in the current decade was being polluted with influences far from the classic Heavy Metal. And with this, going completely against the tide, he decided to put all his influences in the band, starting from Hardrock, going from Heavy Metal to Speed/Power, up to Thrash. A factor that still makes it difficult for those who try to label the style of this band.It wasn’t easy to find a stable line-up, at a time when proposing a Defenders type of music was equivalent to aiming a gun at your temple, but LGD didn’t give up and after a series of replacements, began to find more stable elements. So, from 1998 onwards, the first acerbic demos began to come out, followed by their first self-titled CD in 2003. After the first studio work, theband made its first leap in quality and began to play live more often, also participating in some major festivals. At the end of 2002, the band decided to change its name from ANGUISH to ANGUISH FORCE and then, in 2005, the second album with the title “2: City of Ice” was released. In the year 2006, the band records the single “Defenders united”.The year 2007 was conditioned by a serious accident, which occurred to the wrist of LGD, which seriously risked a premature end of his career as a guitarist and which kept ANGUISH FORCE in astandstill for a long period of time. A great dedication and an uncommon willpower motivated LGD until his hand joints started to work properly again. 2008 is the year of the concept “III: Invincible Imperivm Italicvm”, this CD presented itself then as the most ambitious, produced by this band. In the year 2009 comes the album “Created 4 self-destruction” and a collection of old and unreleased songs: “RRR 1988-1997” completely rearranged and re-recorded. After one year the EP “Cry, Gaia cry”. 2012 is the year of the masterpiece “Atzwang” and for the second chapter of the forgotten songs “RRR 1998-2002”. 2013 is the year of the cassette “Thrashin’ meteors”, album of Thrash Metal songs revisited with several unreleased tracks printed in only 100 copies. 2015 was the year of the sixth album “Sea Eternally Infested” and the moment for the two singles: the 12 ” limited vinyl ” The Bermuda’s triangle” and “Shark attack” with the bonus track “Rage”, used as the soundtrack of the homonymous short film. This is followed by “Chapter 7” and the singles “Stay away from the black hole” and “Metal disco satellite” from 2021. The new album of Anguish Force is finally out, entitled “The weight of the future”, the eighth regular album of the band from Bolzano, which was anticipated by the two EPs “Stay away from the black hole” and “Metal disco satellite”. It is a concept that talks about the cosmos and a probablefuture. The album was recorded at Studio on the Rocks in Barbiano and mixed by Tommaso Crisci at Genetica Studio in Laives. The cover is by Luca Bonardi, already collaborator as illustrator for Mickey Mouse and Alan Ford. The album varies between Heavy/Power and Speed/Thrash with a high rate of epicness.
AGATHODAIMON’s comeback, seven years after their release of In Darkness, is one not to miss: The Seven, the seventh studio album of the German frontrunners, will be released on March 18, 2022 via Napalm Records. AGATHODAIMON’sbrand new ten track offering stays true to their old-school spirit hits with new vigor, one hard topigeonhole due to its widespread musical styles, creating gloomy atmospheres with sharp growls and insane clear vocals. Prepare for an exceptional sonic universe!
Let yourself be consumed by AGATHODAIMON’sobscure second single“Wolf Within”, released today with a gloomy lyric video. The song is drenched in a sense of pain and nostalgia, and with lyrics such as ‘Taste the sin and cross the horizon, the world goes gently up in flames’, it’s impossible to overlook. An evocative guitar solo will guide to the peak of this doom-filled track and sets the listener free from its spell with one last emotional chorus.
Founder, bandleader and guitarist Sathonys on “Wolf Within”: “We wanted to show a different side of the album with this song. While the first single sounded primarily aggressive and brute, ‘Wolf Within’ is just as dark, but a good bit more melodic and thanks to some quiet passages and Ashtrael’s clear vocals also quite memorable. Enjoy this pre-taste of the upcoming album, and be sure to check out the lyric video, as it features some of the excellent artwork created to illustrate THE SEVEN.”
Formed in 1995 and entering the scene with their debut, Blacken the Angel, in 1998, bandleader Sathonys was temporarily forced to put AGATHODAIMON on hold in 2014 due to private circumstances. But the irrevocable fire of the band and their fans never went out, seeking a reawakening of this sonic, seething beast. The unit’s massive new outburst, The Seven, reveals extreme soundscapes amid a captivating concoction of evil, provoking, cutting dark metal and heroic symphonic black metal in the style of bands like Cradle of Filthand Carach Angren, but with their unique and very own multifaceted take. Thematically, as hinted by the album’s title, the full-length is centered around the momentous and symbolically powerful number seven and the seven deadly sins – sloth, greed, lust, gluttony, pride, wrath, envy – on ten tracks total, all addressed with religious themes that contrast with human beings and its original nature.
Sathonys about the album: “Well, we took our time in creating this album. We had to make sure we (can) work together as a band after all these years, that the chemistry is there, that it feels organic to release another album after such a long break. To cut it short, we’re really looking forward to having The Seven out, as we’re very satisfied with it. More than that, we’re proud of it. Typically, you can point a finger at one or two songs that really stand out from the rest, but here, you’ll feel the effort that was put into every song and every aspect. Not only in terms of songwriting, there’s also the artistic concept and visual artwork/realization delivered by the team of Credo Quia Absurdum, and excellent production under the supervision of our friend Kristian “Kohle” Kohlmannslehner (Powerwolf, Aborted, Benighted etc.). Usually you have to be prepared to make compromises. The Seven is far from that, as it is our most ambitious album to date.”
Diving into this exciting construct with opener “La Haine”, the track lures the listener into the freezing, dark world of AGATHODAIMON, produced by long-time companion Kristian “Kohle” Bonifer (Aborted, Powerwolf,Hämatom amongst others), by building up a dense wall of thunderous sound, accented by a multifaceted vocal interpretation. Songs massive first single “Ain’t Death Grand” and haunting “In my Dreams” roam between dense soundscapes, crushing instrumentals and intense lyricism. “Kyrie / Gloria” on the other hand stomps more towards heavy doom metal, calling for a black mass with creeping darkness and desperate screams turning into harsh black metal parts, all topped by the guest appearance of Benighted frontman Julien Truchan. Amid the tracklisting there’s another special treat for fans lurking with epochal orchestration that paves the way for the remarkable performance of AGATHODAIMON’s former vocalist, Romanian Vlad Dracul, on “Mother of all Gods”. It’s not only this very first collaboration since 1999, but The Seven as a whole, that showcases that AGATHODAIMON absolutely acing the balancing act of incorporating their past into a bright and exciting future.
The Seven tracklist: 1. La Haine 2. Ain’t Death Grand 3. Wolf Within 4. Ghosts of Greed 5. Mother of all Gods 6. Estrangement 7. In my Dreams (Part 1 – Prelude) 8. In my Dreams (Part 2 – In Bitterness) 9. Kyrie / Gloria 10. The Divine
