Ireland’s finest, PRIMORDIAL, start their “Heathen Crusade To Doomsday” tour and release Redemption at the Puritan’s Hand (Redux) to celebrate last year’s 10th anniversary of the album masterpiece. As a bonus, the album will be re-released digitally with additional demo versions of all album tracks.

Primordial vocalist A.A. Nemtheanga comments:
“Redemption at the Puritan’s Hand is just over a decade old, the world seems very different now, who knows where we tread, we are about to set out on tour, the last one before doomsday? Who knows. Take a bite out of the apple while you can and see you down the front. As for the Redux? We found lurking in an old folder somewhere the pre mixed, pre-master versions of the album, not quite the demos for the album but somewhere in between, the sound is quite different, maybe warmer on some level, but there are different vocal patterns and takes, leads in different places, the flesh on the bones of the album without perhaps the skin! ‘Redemption’ was an important milestone in the band’s career, a difficult album to make, full of complications, illness, and conflict before we even mention almost being stranded in the Welsh valleys in the harshest of Winters up to our hips in snow! We ask you now to take a chunk of the flesh and have a bite and celebrate over a decade of ‘Redemption’ together with our long term co conspirators over at the great Metal Blade Records! PERPETUAL FIRE Release “Virtual Eyes” Album on April 23rd

Wanikiya Record is proud to announce the release, scheduled for Saturday the 23rd of April 2022, of PERPETUAL FIRE‘s latest recording entitled ‘Virtual Eyes’. The cover was created by Argentinian artist Rodrigo Gudina.

‘Virtual Eyes’ is the fourth album, coming after ‘Bleeding Hands’ that was released in 2017 by Sleazy Rider Records. The new work was recorded in the studio of the guitarist Steve Volta (Pino Scotto, Pandaemonium), the lyrics (all written before the pandemic) are about dealing with difficult times, loss of loved ones, technology used in a negative way.

There is also a fast instrumental track entitled ‘Sirio’, an acoustic ballad, and several power metal songs that will delight the lovers of the genre!

DVL Premiere Devilish Narrative Video ‘Eternity’

Scottish metalcore group DVL have released a devilish new music video for their latest single ‘Eternity’.

This new narrative moving picture sees DVL embracing their love of the horror movie genre and is the first in a trilogy of music videos that tell an ongoing story. ‘Eternity’ leads the charge as it delves into the dark world of the occult and one man’s obsession with seeking a deal with the devil. As the story unfolds, questions are raised as to the cult’s ideological and philosophical beliefs and how far this man is truly willing to sell his soul, but at what cost?

Mixing blazing sonics with the classic sound of NWOBHM that’s aligned with tinges of U.S. hard rock and heavy metal, the SAMA (Scottish Alternative Metal Awards) nominated group will release their new 10 track record ‘Hush’ through WormHoleDeath Records this May.

DVL’s forthcoming collection of heavy hitting tracks follows the band’s debut album ‘The Pawn That Took The King ‘ and live shows with In This Moment, Jinjer, Act of Defiance, Sylosis, and many more.

‘Hush’ is a conceptual album made up of short stories that reflect on modern society. Each song tells a different tale, with some lyrics leaning towards fantasy and others possibly too close to unmasking the truth. Yet while the songs may tell their own individual stories they are all tied together by one overarching concept based on Mental Health. Thematically the album deals with how we deal with mental health as individuals and how society perceives it as well as interferes with it. Self sabotage, the self destructive society that we live in, sleep deprivation, religion being used as a form of manipulation, as well as personality disorders. 

The poignant lyrics are married to heavy yet melodic soundscapes that are shaped around songs filled with gripping hooks and vocals that effortlessly switch from light to shade throughout this 10 song, red hot, heavy metal nirvana. 

Co-produced by the Glaswegian band and producer Riccardo Daga at Titan Lab Recording Studio in Ferrara near Bologna, Italy,  ‘Hush’ will be released via WormHoleDeath Records on the 27th May. Pre-save it here.

Not only will the band support IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT in June 2022, but also managed to position themselves on the mighty Hellfest and Euroblast Festival to name a few. ENFORCER Announce New Co-Headliner with EVIL INVADERS

Swedish heavy metal band ENFORCER have shared an important update concerning their Kings Of The Underground Tour 2022. Due to the pandemic, SKULL FIST were unfortunately forced to cancel their appearance. But instead of cancelling the entire project, ENFORCER are glad to inform their fans that all shows except Hannover will still go ahead, with the Canadians replaced by Belgian extreme heavy metallers EVIL INVADERS as co-headliners! They’ve just released their brand new and highly acclaimed album “Shattering Reflection” and are more than pumped to present their new show.

The tour now also features special guests COBRA SPELL, the new hard rock/heavy metal band from Sonia Anubis (ex-BURNING WITCHES/ex-CRYPTA) who are promoting their recently released ‘Anthems of the Night’ EP. 

Joe, singer and guitarist of EVIL INVADERS says: ”What better way to promote our brand new record ‘Shattering Reflection’ than by hitting the road with a killer Heavy Metal tour package! Regarding the cancellation, Zach, singer and guitarist of SKULL FIST explains:
“It’s a drag that we can’t do this tour. If a single thing went wrong on tour it would crush us financially even worse than we already are. I guess we will have to get there when we get there. I’m glad there is at least some gnarly bands to take our place and wild west that s***!”

On November 26th 2021, HYPOCRISY released their critically acclaimed album “Worship”, which saw the best chart results all over the world in the band´s history so far.

Now the Swedish death metal executors rise up again to sweep across Europe like a storm and leave a trail of pure death metal devastation in 17 countries and 37 cities. The big WORSHIP European Tour 2022 tour will start on September 30 and conclude on November 12.

Hypocrisy has a 30-year history with 12 albums, hundreds of gigs all over the world, and thousands of fans. This influential Swedish death metal band started from the will of one person, and this person’s name was (and is) Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, The Abyss, PAIN, ex-Lindemann). Having made the first demos all by himself, after getting an offer from Nuclear Blast, he invited musicians to form an actual band.

Since then, Hypocrisy gained success with their records and rocking live performances, and evolved musically and conceptually. Heavy and rich sound with catchy melodic riffs, crushing drum fills, obscure lyrics and versatile vocal parts became a signature style of the band. It´s discography from debut ‘Penetralia’ to the recent ’Worship’, through such legendary albums as ‘The Fourth Dimension’, ‘Abducted’, and ‘Virus’, is indeed a thrilling metal journey. A journey that continues.
