Florida’s Rockers GUNSHINE have released their brand new debut single titled “Wall Said To Call” to all major platforms!
“Wall Said To Call is a fun, adrenaline-filled, party rock song with all of the elements of real rock n roll. Loud, edgy guitars, soaring vocals, and slamming drums” says the band.
Gunshine is a rock n roll band hailing from Pensacola, FL. While spending all of 2020 and 2021 writing and recording their debut album, they honed in on what makes them stand apart, and what they do best. Due out in 2022, the album recalls the edge and bravado of rock’s greats such as AC/DC, Boston, and Guns N Roses, but with an original, modern twist. Add that with a heavy-duty production value that sonically gives the songs a punchy, powerful analog sound. The result? Blistering guitar solos, soaring vocals and a lethal rhythm section that all come together to create a well-crafted, organic collection of musical pieces straight from the heart of each member of the band.
In a world where it is commonplace to play it safe and not “rock the boat” musically, Gunshine offers a breath of fresh air and throws the rule book out the window. No tricks, no frills, no BS. This is the rock n roll you’ve missed.
Eastern European emotional metalcore upstarts DRAG ME OUT are back! Lead by Denis Stoff, the charismatic frontman and former singer for Make Me Famous and Asking Alexandria, Drag Me Out have released their brand new single and video for ‘Bullets In My Teeth’, as well as pre-orders for their highly anticipated second album Demons Away, out 6th May via their own label imprint Lödereih Music.
‘Bullets In My Teeth’ is an anthem for the heartbroken and the insecure state of mind that many people find themselves in today.
Stoff comments on the new single: “’B.I.M.T.’ not only marks our return to the heavy metal fray after splitting with our long time label Sumerian Records, but it is also a very personal song for me… Relationships of any kind, whether they be with your partner, band mates or with your fans- it is no easy task. It can make you or break you… when I wrote this song I was definitely breaking down. I hope it will help someone get back up like it did for me.”
The upcoming album Demons Away is part one of a three part concept album and starts off where their previous release Pressure left off. 12 new songs filled with huge chunky riffs and punchy rhythms rushing over tight grooves with just enough soaring melodies and infectious hooks to start a mosh pit on the dance floor or in your living room.
Stoff on the new album Demons Away: “It is soaked in the paranormal vibes. Your spiritual journey begins here and now. Our main purpose is to shed the light on the things that really make you feel bad, anxious, weak or wrong. It is our call for you to face the pain and explore it at its energetic core as the truth lies deeper than it might seem. My demons truly showed me that they are in fact always standing somewhere in between my perception of life and the ultimate truth about our world.”

In the year of the Covid19-pandemic, when the world was forced into a lockdown, two old friends joined their forces into a brand new band. OVER A BARREL, who feature Luca Cocconi (THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY, BROWBEAT) and Imer Bigi (ex-DARK LUNACY), are driven by the passion for extreme music. The result is a fast, powerful, raw and brutal album. “Self-Inflicted Wounds” will be released on March 18th 2022.
Today, the band are giving metalheads all over the world a taste of their sound with the debut single ‘No Warnings No Signs’, that comes together with a visualizer video. Its crushing atmosphere, groovy riffs and harsh vocals provide a perfect example of what OVER A BARREL is about.
The debut album, “Self-Inflicted Wounds”, was recorded, mixed and mastered at Audiocore Studio in Parma (Italy) by Luca Cocconi and Simone Sighinolfi.
Careless of the latest trends, this album came out very naturally. “No limits during the composition phase, just focus on what we liked and sounded good. There is some kind of unspoken agreement between us: be 100% into our music and approaching creative sessions with open minds. This is our essence put into very simple words”, comments the band.
The track listing for “Self-Inflicted Wounds” reads as follows: 01. Woland (intro) 02. No Warnings No Signs 03. Over A Barrel 04. Pain Inflicted To Yourself 05. Distrusted Victims 06. Dripping Blood 07. Turning Point 08. Cyberwaste (FEAR FACTORY cover)
Blending the timeless, classic rock sound of the Woodstock-era with modern indie, Sweden’s CHILDREN OF THE SÜN is back. Following up on their praised debut album “Flowers” from 2019, the group will release their sophomore studio full length “Roots” in March 2022. The second single leading up to “Roots” is called “In Silva”, and is an acoustic piece with soulful, vocal harmonies. The single features guest vocals by Simon Zion from the band Awaze.
Josefina Berglund Ekholm, lead singer of the band, comments on the single “In Silva”:
“In Silva is about longing for something or someone. Waiting for something to happen, and believing that everything will work out in the end. It is about accepting what you can’t control; that everything will turn out okay as long as you just let it happen.”
“In Silva” is out on all streaming platforms January 21. Children of the Sün’s sophomore album “Roots” will be released on The Sign Records on the 18th of March, 2022, on CD, LP, and digital formats.

There would be no one to present this project better than Bob itself, so in his own words: “It all happened completely by accident: in order to make a test song for a newly purchased bass, I started jamming on an Iron Maiden’esque bass line. Six days later, I had written a whole album’s worth of material! Being not only an Iron Maiden fan but also a producer, it was easy enough for me to step in the shoes of any band member and take the role of any musician. What Steve should play here, what drum fill would Nicko use, what kind of solo would fit here? Also, back in May 2021, there were no talks of a new IM album yet, so it felt like I was filling a gap. I didn’t try to make a cheap IM mimicking album, instead, I started writing music the way that those British Gods of Metal taught me since 1988 when I first encountered their music. Then I had to find the right musicians to do the job. Dan Baune of Monument -except for playing a couple of great solos on the album- introduced me to singer Artur Almeida that I already knew from his work with Attik Demons. Then, Gus Macricostas on bass was a very obvious choice for me from the days we played together back in 2002, same goes for Scar Of The Sun and Outloud bandmate, Thanos Pappas, who also drums for Urizen, the only Greek Bruce Dickinson Tribute Band! Having all these guys also playing for other bands of ROAR Records, it also looked like a sign that this album would be released by them. I’m really happy for this collaboration and can’t wait to jam these songs live with these great guys!”
