The latest piece by the sextet is a rousing, powerful work that makes the heart of every “Brachialromantiker” beat faster. Above all, it focuses on support, trust and unconditional love in the usual LETZTE INSTANZ charm.
The six guys from Germany combine emotional depth with intense sound experiences and so create their very own world, in which it is easy to get lost. The video for “Du Bist Nicht Verloren” also impresses with its minimalism. It gives sound and lyrics the necessary space to fully develop. Get a picture of it here:
“Du Bist Nicht Verloren” is not only the band’s newest masterpiece, but also announces the final sprint for their new album “Ehrenwort”. “Ehrenwort” is brutally and socially critical as usual. The incomparable facets of the band are revealed to the listener on 13 powerful and sensitive songs. Holly: “For ‘Ehrenwort’ it was our premise to go back to the roots. At the same time, we wanted to stay true to our credo ‘Brachialromantik’ – I think we succeeded and did that pretty well.”
Apart from this new approach, “Ehrenwort” is bursting with hits. After all, the band knows like no other how to make their trademarks shine through catchy song structures: The record is bursting with emotion, as it proves, for example, in “In Deiner Spur”. In addition, powerful elements that have been woven together with a lot of depth and sophistication into very intense tracks.
Never before the band was so on point, never before did those unparalleled vocals put the listener in such an intense grip. Because in contrast to their previous output, LETZTE INSTANZ has tried to match each song’s attitude vocally, which leads to a fantastic listening experience.
Now, after more than two decades of exciting band history, LETZTE INSTANZ is on the verge of the climax of their work. With an album that gives courage and hope in uncertain and troubling times. After all, this is “the most hopeful album the band has ever produced.” They promise this. They give us their “Ehrenwort”.
November 26, 2021 will see Swedish black & death metal heavyweights GODHEAD MACHINERY release their forthcoming studio album, Monotheistic Enslavement, through Black Lion Records.
Founded in 2014 by Kail Karlsson ( formerly in Swedish black metal band Misericordia ), Godhead Machinery’s forthcoming album will take a darker path compared to their previous records – ”Ouroboros” and ”Aligned to the Grid” – exploring the sick twisted mind of humanity. The record will also feature Krzysztof Klingbein of iconic death metal band VADER on drums. Karlsson’s deep interest and studies within religion and political structures, also reflects the concept of Monotheistic Enslavement. As the guitarist / vocalist recently explained:
“Godhead Machinery serves as a tool to analyze in which ways religious beliefs infiltrate laws, policy, behaviors, and moral codes of todays society. By identifying these influencing factors, we can confront them and break free from them. The Devil represent the opposition against this well-planned form of indoctrinated slavery!”
After the previously- released single, “Orbis Non Sufficit”, GODHEAD MACHINERY have just unleashed an incredible, new video for the fierce album title track! Watch the clip right here:
Says Kail: “I’m very proud to present our music video for the title track from our upcoming album Monotheistic Enslavement. I stay humble to all my friends and “Heavy Groove Media” that made this video possible and are truly amazed by their professionalism, commitment and skills within acting.
Monotheistic Enslavement is one of our slower and darker tracks from the album and describes the implementation and remaining grip of monotheism through time and societies.”
Monotheistic Enslavementwas mixed and mastered by Magnus Jonsson at Milk Studios in Sweden. The album will be released as LP, CD and Digital formats on November 26, 2021, through underground powerhouse Black Lion Records. You can now pre-order your copy at THIS LOCATION!
Actress Kelly Dowdle, best known for her roles in Billions, Lucifer, American Crime Story, the upcoming film Three Days Rising, Scandal Made Me Famous, Big Momma’s House 2 and more has released a new single “Mama Said” under the moniker, Kelly Monrow.
“I was in Nashville doing a co-write with my producer Sinclair and my mom happened to be in town visiting. I was telling Sinclair how my mom raised us as a single woman and what a positive influence she has had on my life. I started firing off some of her sayings and we found ourselves laughing and writing them down. We took those verbatim and turned them into the lyrics of ‘Mama Said.’ So I guess she basically wrote this song, Thanks Mom!” says Kelly.
She adds, “The coolest part is that my mom got to watch me lay down the final vocals in the studio, which was super special. One of the lyrics is ‘go to bed, it can wait till morning,’ and that’s really been a great piece of advice. My mom was tough growing up and always reminded me to make my own way and to not rely on anything outside of myself. This song holds meaning to me because I wouldn’t be who I am today without the lessons from my Mama.”
Kelly Dowdle is a native Texan. She attended the University of Texas where she received her undergraduate degree in Radio, Television, and Film. Kelly hopes to inspire others through her creative work to not care about the outcome but to stay focused in the joy of the process, always following your heart and doing what makes you happy.

The AIRFORCE album “Live Locked N’ Loaded In Poland Lublin Radio“ came about after Airforce bassist, Tony Hatton received a message from Marcin Puszka late in 2018 inviting AIRFORCE to play a show for Radio Lublin in Poland. This was duly arranged and AIRFORCE played the Radio Lublin show on Friday March 29th 2019, shortly before AIRFORCE headed off for their 2nd USA tour in early April. The show was broadcast live on Radio Lublin, also being filmed and recorded. It was soon realized that the audio recording and the AIRFORCE performance of this one off show was of a very high quality. Soon after the Radio Lublin AIRFORCE show the plan to release it as a live album began to be planned. The initial mix was by the Radio Lublin engineers, who then in 2020 handed over the recording to AIRFORCE for their own sound engineer Pete Franklin to complete. The album tracklisting is a live snapshot of new AIRFORCE songs and studio recordings to date.
Actually the history of AIRFORCE goes back over 40 years ago to 1979, to an East London based band called EL-34, in which Chop Pitman and Tony Hatton played together first, and were able to gain ample live experiences with exciting gigs in legendary venues like “The Marquee Club”, “The Ruskin Arms” and “The Cart & Horses”. After several years playing mostly London metal shows, the singer and drummer departed in 1986, leaving Chop and Tony looking for replacements. Chop’s very good long-term friend, IRON MAIDEN mastermind Steve Harris, suggested his former drummer Doug Sampson (well known to all Metal fans from Iron Maiden’s first legendary studio recordings “The Soundhouse Tapes”). Steve arranged some studio time for himself, Chop, and Doug to have a rehearsal jam session together, and a slice of NWOBHM history was made: AIRFORCE was born!
“Live Locked N’ Loaded In Poland Lublin Radio” was released on September 24 as jewel case CD and on all digital streaming/download platforms.

JOHN LODGE, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, is to release a new live album entitled ‘The Royal Affair and After’. It features incredible new live recordings of all his Moody Blues hits, plus special tributes to all his bandmates, Graeme Edge, Justin Hayward, Mike Pinder and Ray Thomas. John is delighted to release this album, an album that encompasses the songs that he describes as being ‘the soundtrack of his life’, and continues in his deeply-felt quest to ‘Keep the Moody Blues music Alive’. The album was recorded live in Las Vegas on ‘The Royal Affair Tour’, with additional tracks recorded during his subsequent USA dates.
During the summer of 2019, Lodge was delighted to be part of the ‘The Royal Affair Tour’, with YES, Carl Palmer, Arthur Brown, and ASIA, and what followed was an epic summer. For John it was a unique opportunity to bring his electrifying show to both long established fans, and to those new to the Moody Blues. As one reviewer said, ‘if you love The Moody Blues, checkout John live. He and the band put on a great show!’
The album comprises many of the incredible Moodies hits penned by Lodge, classics such as “I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band),” “Gemini Dream,” “Ride My Seesaw,” “Isn’t Life Strange,” and “Steppin’ in a Slide Zone”, plus the wonderful “Saved by the Music” from the Blue Jays album.
Also included is John’s tribute to his friend Ray Thomas, with his version of ‘Legend of a Mind’. John and Ray were friends from the age of 14 when they met on a bus and formed their first band ‘El Riot and the Rebels’. In 1966 they reunited in ‘The Moody Blues’, when Ray called to ask John if he’d finished college and wanted to join the band!
The album also features a special recording of ‘Late Lament’, by the Moody Blues’ drummer Graeme Edge. The poem originally appeared on the iconic album ‘Days of Future Passed’, and was written by Edge, but voiced by Mike Pinder. John was delighted when Edge agreed to record his poem for him. John’s tribute to Mike is his rendition of ‘Sunset’, a new version that captures the mystical tone of Pinder’s work.
Jon Davison of YES is also featured on the album and joins John and his band to provide lead vocals on ‘Nights in White Satin’. During the ‘Royal Affair’ tour Davison would join John on stage for their ‘encore’ performance of ‘Ride My See-Saw’, and this began a friendship that would lead to John to invite Jon to join him on tour. For 54 years John has played this song at every Moody Blues concert, and loved playing the bass line that he wrote all those years ago, and with the Moody Blues no longer touring, this was a wonderful opportunity to play tribute to Hayward, and continue to perform this iconic song.
John wanted to feature the cello on this album as he felt that it would bring a naturally organic and acoustic symphonic quality to these new versions, and with a purity unmatched by any electronic device, allowing a rediscovery of songs such as “Isn’t Life Strange.”
John is delighted to release this album now. “When we first put together the set list my thoughts were on how I could continue to ‘Keep the Moody Blues Music Alive’ for the fans, I wanted to bring them the experience that they have loved for so long, and try and give them that full band concert feel with harmonies and orchestration. But this was before covid, before the challenges we have all faced, and before touring was shut down for 18 months. Now, when I think about the album, it has an even deeper meaning for me.
I only hope that the fans will enjoy the album, and it will give them a moment to imagine themselves back in an audience at their favourite venue, surrounded by the music that is the soundtrack of my life, and it will help pass the time before we can all be back together on the road. As I’ve always said, the fans truly are the heart of the Moody Blues. They have travelled a long time with us, and I hope will continue to do so.”
Joining John on stage is his ‘10,000 Light Years Band’; long term collaborator Alan Hewitt (Music Director and Keyboards) and Billy Ashbaugh (Drums) both from the Moody Blues touring band, plus Duffy King (Guitars) and Jason Charboneau (Cello), and together they capture the heart of these classic Moody Blues songs. John truly is the beating heart of the Moody Blues, both with his bass playing and his passion, and this album takes you back to those early days of the core 7 albums, whilst also bringing these songs into the 21st Century.
John Lodge is bass guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter for the iconic Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2018 inductees, The Moody Blues. Songwriter of such mega Moody Blues hits from “Ride My See-Saw,” to “I’m Just A Singer (In A Rock and Roll Band),” “Isn’t Life Strange” and many more. Lodge has been performing and recording with The Moody Blues for more than five decades, selling in excess of 70 million albums, as well as releasing his three solo albums ‘Natural Avenue’, ’10,000 Light Years Ago’ and ‘B Yond’. Lodge has been voted one of the “10 most influential bass players on the planet,” and has been the recipient of many awards, including ASCAP (American Society of Composers and Publishers), an Ivor Novello Award, a Lifetime Achievement Award from Prog Magazine, to name just a few.
John is passionate about “Keeping the Moody Blues Music Alive”, and John and his 10,000 Light Years Band provide a unique opportunity to continue to experience the magic of the Moody Blues. 2021 will see the release of his live album ‘The Royal Affair and After’ and touring is being planned for 2022.

THE BROWNING have announced their new album, titled End of Existence, out December 3 via Spinefarm. Pre-order it here. The band has also shared the video for the title track.
End of Existence was written, performed, recorded, engineered and mixed by The Browning’s impresario Jonny McBee. It’s 12 tracks of detuned guitars, electronic nuances, and vocal gut punches.
“To me, the music sounded doomy, dystopian, and apocalyptic,” McBee offers. ”The Browning has always had that tone, but it’s even more prevalent now. Early on, I knew I was going to write the heaviest Browning body of work there was. I needed a theme to fit the heaviness and darkness of the music though. Since I was really happy in my personal life, it had to have a fictional plot. For me, this was about creating a universe.”
The Browning have been inching towards this album and this moment since their inception. The band emerged in 2011 with Burn This World. Following the success of Hypernova [2013] and Isolation [2016], they delivered Geist in 2018. Not only did it rack up over 20 million-plus streams and counting, but it also picked up acclaim from the likes of Guitar World and New Noise Magazine who rated it 5-out-of-5 stars and christened the band a “ force to be reckoned with, essentially.” Along the way, they toured with everyone from Chelsea Grin and We Came As Romans to Fear Factory and Static-X. The global COVID-19 pandemic tabled the band’s touring plans so McBee focused on his next creative and personal chapters. He built a tiny house for his wife and newborn daughter and cooked up End of Existence at home. Over the course of the ensuing year, he took advantage of the extra time to perfect it, playing every instrument, and producing. He effectively bottled the band’s signature live intensity in the studio and on End of Existence.
END OF EXISTENCE TRACK LISTING: “End Of Existence” “Destroyer” “Anticendency” “Gott ist Tot” “Torment” “Cataclysm” “Rage” “Chaos Reigns” “No Man Can Become A God” “Death Warp” “Prophecy” “Fearless”
