EQUILIBRIUM Release New Album “Equinox” with Enchanting Video for ‘Nexus’

Opposing forces that are both inside of me
Like the moon, like the sun, they share the same sky
Like tides of life and death, their waves pour over me
With a heavy heart, I remember me

Cinematic folk metallers Equilibrium have released their greatly anticipated new studio album, Equinox, today via Nuclear Blast Records. In honour of this, the band have released an enchanting video for album track ‘Nexus‘.

Crowned with eldritch skill, Equinox brings together arcane riffs, poetic melodies and ritualistic hooks, revealing Equilibrium‘s blazing inner fire.

René Berthiaume commented:
“The work on “Nexus” started with a very simple idea: There was the guitar riff and there was the image of running people. I am very proud of the video because it is fully self-made and it was a huge challenge to film this during the coldest days of last year’s winter in Germany. But the actual process of creating something is one of the most important parts for me in art in general.
The same goes for the album “Equinox” itself: It’s been 6 years since our last album was released, and a lot of things have happened in that time. We’ve explored what Equilibrium actually means for us and what it should be now and in the future. We’ve continued down the path that we explored throughout the last albums, but at the same time we’ve reconnected with our older works. And on top of that, we’ve explored some new territories. You can now hear this result on Equinox, which is probably the most honest and personal album we’ve ever made. If “Equinox” would be a movie, it would be probably a mixture of “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” and “Princess Mononoke”.”

Jessica Rösch commented:
“For me, “Nexus” is the heart of Equinox.
And it’s perhaps the moment where all the different forces of this album collide.
The song and video are about that invisible thread between worlds, between who you were and who you are becoming. It’s the story of integrating a soul. And in many ways it’s holding all the grief, rage and beauty that live in that moment.
With “Equinox” we wanted to build a world and step back into our storyteller roots.
To me the album feels like a ritual, like an offering.
It leaves you with this very specific feeling after you’ve read a beautiful book. You are so invested in its universe and absolutely in awe with it that when you have to let it go it almost hurts. But in the most beautiful and bittersweet way. 🙂
It’s raw, it’s about endings and new beginnings, about shedding old skins while still carefully carrying their memory in your bones.”

Finnish progressive metal outfit Frozen Factory announces the release of their powerful new single and accompanying music video, “The Nothing I Want More.” The track is an atmospheric and deeply introspective journey that sets the stage for the band’s highly anticipated upcoming album, Apocalypse Inc., which is scheduled for release on January 16, 2026, via Wormholedeath.

“The Nothing I Want More” is a journey through isolation, existential reflection, and the pressures of a world ruled by power and control. Alienated yet keenly aware, it confronts societal exploitation, personal regrets, and the paradox of craving emptiness in a chaotic life. A rock/metal track with a strong rhythmic pulse, atmospheric guitars, and a moody, reflective tone.

About Frozen Factory

Frozen Factory shapes a distinct heavy rock sound built on prog-leaning metal and exploring deep themes of conflict, truth, and mystery. Their expansive influences span from the classic rock introspection of Pink Floyd and the metal might of Iron Maiden to the alternative intensity of Alice in Chains and the dark wave textures of Depeche Mode, showcasing a band with strong artistic control.

Formed in late 2018, the band’s direction was quickly cemented by the arrival of British/Finnish vocalist Stephen Baker. Following their debut album Planted Feet and their first live show in 2020, the current lineup—featuring drummer Marianne Heikkinen and lead guitarist Zsolt Szilagyi—solidified their momentum. Their 2022 album, Of Pearls & Perils, garnered notable radio support, including airplay on Germany’s SWR1, setting a high benchmark for their new material.

FROZEN FACTORY Line-Up:
Stephen Baker – Lead Vocals
Tomi Hassinen – Bass
Zsolt Szilagyi – Lead Guitar
Johnny Koivumäki – Rhythm Guitar
Marianne Heikkinen – Drums.

NOTHING3000 Unleash First Song ‘3’ from Upcoming Studio Album “Philosophy of Infinity”

NOTHING3000 is a musical entity created around 2021. The idea of the project is strong metal riffs, mixed with subtlety, gain cranked up to the max, piercing drums and an aura of eternal changes, wandering, searching and endless nothingness.

NOTHING3000 moves on the border of alternative metal, post-metal, sometimes black/death metal. Such a large branching of trends results from two different personalities that create this project.

Now, post-metal duo is preparing for releasing 2nd studio album titled “Philosophy of Infinity” which explores the eternal interpenetration of everything. Past/future, darkness/light, matter/antimatter. It all unfolds in a continual cycle. “Philosophy of Infinity” speaks to the eternal interpenetration of everything. The album consists of six tracks and nearly 30 minutes of instrumental music, somewhere on the border between alternative metal and post-metal.

All the rec/mix/master for this new album was done by the Band.

LION’S SHARE to Release New Studio Album “Inferno” on March 27th

LION’S SHARE release the new studio album “Inferno” on March 27th 2026 at Metalville. This marks the band’s first full-length studio album in 17 years, making it one of the most highly anticipated comebacks in the scene.

LION’S SHARE is back — stronger than ever! With six acclaimed albums and a string of successful digital singles, the Swedish heavy metal powerhouse is set to unleash their long-awaited comeback album.

“For us, Inferno is more than just a new album — it’s a statement. We’ve spent years writing, refining, and pushing ourselves harder than ever. The goal was simple: make the strongest, heaviest, and most focused LION’S SHARE record of our career. I honestly feel we’ve achieved that. This is the album where everything fell into place,” says guitarist Lars Chriss.

Vocalist Nils Patrik Johansson adds:
“Taking 17 years between albums wasn’t the plan — but it allowed us to come back with fire in our veins. We’ve never sounded tighter, and we can’t wait to bring these songs to the stage. This album has the attitude, the hooks, the power… everything that made us fall in love with heavy metal in the first place. We’re incredibly proud of Inferno.”

Formed in Sundsvall, Sweden, in 1987 by guitarist Lars Chriss and keyboardist Kay Backlund, LION’S SHARE quickly carved out a unique sound through relentless rehearsals and high-voltage live shows. Their 1995 self-titled debut opened the door to extensive touring – including full-scale tours and extended runs alongside genuine metal titans such as MOTÖRHEAD, SAXON, DIO, MANOWAR, U.D.O., and DEE SNIDER.

Along the way, LION’S SHARE has collaborated with members of some of the most legendary bands in the world, including KISS, MEGADETH, KING DIAMOND, CANDLEMASS, SYMPHONY X and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN. Albums like Emotional Coma and Dark Hours have earned critical praise for their razor-sharp riffing, massive hooks, and a perfect balance of heaviness and melody.

Since 2017, LION’S SHARE has operated as a dynamic duo, with Lars Chriss on guitar and Nils Patrik Johansson on vocals, calling on trusted friends for live and studio collaborations.

Now, with Inferno, LION’S SHARE is ready to reclaim their place at the forefront of the heavy metal scene — a blazing comeback that promises to deliver everything fans have been waiting for and more.
