IGORRR Release Live Video for ‘Camel Dancefloor’ And announce New European Tour Dates for 2021

IGORRR – the brainchild of French composer and musical mastermind Gautier Serre – releases a new live video for “Camel Dancefloor”, recorded at the Pol’And’Rock Festival in July 2021. The full video can be watched below.

Gautier Serre comments: “We have been waiting over one year and a half to be able to play this track live, this has been a very important moment for us as we were discovering how it really sounds like on a stage, and we were surprised of how strong the vibe is when we play “Camel Dancefloor,” especially with our unbelievable guitar player Martyn Clément, and the 2 new vocalists. I really feel we reached a kind of next level of heaviness on stage with Igorrr, it’s brutal.“

In March 2020, right at the beginning of the global pandemic, Igorrr released their 4th and most successful album to date: Spirituality and Distortion. Praised as a record that “will keep your brain spinning for a few weeks at least” by Blabbermouth (US). With entering the Official German Album charts on #12, Switzerland on #57 and climbing to #61 in the Billboard Top Current Album charts, the band continued to write their worldwide success story. In November and December 2021, the band is going on tour with Horskh and Autarkh. Check the dates below:

With 2017’s Savage Sinusoid, Igorrr more than proved to be a truly unique musical force – and 2020’s Spirituality And Distortion cements that well-earned reputation. Slamming together disparate musical styles ranging from death and black metal to breakcore, Balkan, baroque and classical music in a manner that is as unconventional and unpredictable as it is thrilling, Igorrr are unlike any other act, and Spirituality And Distortion displays just as broad a range of emotions as sounds. “Getting stuck in only one emotion is very boring to me; life is a wide range of emotions – sometimes you’re happy, sometimes you’re sad, angry, pissed off, nostalgic or blown away,” states mastermind Gautier Serre. “Life is not only one color. These 14 tracks are a journey through different states of mind I’ve been through.“

Cannibal Corpse will be touring in support of their critically lauded Violence Unimagined full-length, recently released via Metal Blade Records. Comprising eleven tracks, Violence Unimagined is state of the art death metal played with passion and breathless precision, making for another flawless addition to what is inarguably one of the premier catalogues of the genre. “It really follows the path we’ve been going down for a few years now,” notes Webster. “I think we approach the writing in a similar way most every time: each of us try to write the heaviest, most memorable songs we can. We want each song to have its own identifiable character. Showing my age, I like to say you can ‘drop the needle’ on any point of one of our albums and quickly tell which song you’re listening to.“

While they continue to do what they do with aplomb, the one substantial change to Cannibal Corpse is the addition of guitarist Erik Rutan to their ranks, joining Webster, founding drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, guitarist Rob Barrett, and vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher. Known for his roles in Morbid Angel, Ripping Corpse, and most notably fronting the mighty Hate Eternal, Rutan has long established himself as one of the most dynamic forces in contemporary death metal. Simultaneously, he has built up a reputation as one of the most in demand producers in metal, having previously produced four Cannibal Corpse albums (in addition to Violence Unimagined), alongside the likes of Goatwhore, Soilent Green, and Belphegor. Filling in live on guitar since 2019, in 2020 he became a full member, contributing to the writing process. “I think the most noticeable difference on this record will be the addition of Erik to the band. He wrote three full songs for the record, music and lyrics, and his songwriting and guitar playing have added something new, and I think his musical style integrated into ours very well,” Webster enthuses. This is not all that he brings to the band. “He’s a great friend of ours, so on a personal level, he’s been a perfect fit, as we knew he would be. Beyond that, he’s one of the hardest working people I know, in music or otherwise, and he maintains a high energy, positive demeanor in challenging situations where other people might go in a negative direction. This energy and great attitude rubs off on the rest of us as well. That’s really a perfect situation to have when you add someone to a band, or any kind of team: someone who’s great at what they do, and also inspires the people around them.“

Football fans at the Las Vegas Raiders vs Chicago Bears NFL game at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV were supercharged, on Sunday, with a massive rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” by iconic JOURNEY founder and guitar legend NEAL SCHON. Marking the first time that the “Star Spangled Banner” has been performed on electric guitar at the new stadium, SCHON’s performance, wielding his custom IHush Lady M Strat, pumped up the crowd for the exciting hometown match-up that saw the team’s first game with fans inside the stadium since the team moved to Las Vegas.

“Flanked by a pair of Marshall stacks and joined by his pedalboard, the Journey founder launched into a faithful run-through of the anthem’s iconic opening motif…

Owing to the stadium’s acoustics, Schon’s sound is decked out with a monumental natural reverb, and is further enhanced by some customary plunges on the whammy bar and super-tight vibratos.” – GUITAR WORLD

NEAL SCHON and JOURNEY have also announced that they are returning to Las Vegas for a new residency at the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, for AEG Presents The Ultimate Journey Experience.

Finnish CLEAR VISION Release New ‘Tarnished Dreams Run Wild’ EP

With a rock solid vocal line up and catchy choruses that make them interesting to both rock fans and new listeners, the Finnish melodic metal band CLEAR VISION was born some cold, early spring days at the studio of Teemu Aalto. Their debut EP ’Tarnished Dreams Run Wild’ deals with the difficulties of being human, and comforts with promises of a light at the end of the tunnel, all adorned in Nordic coldness and onrushing energy.

Clear Vision is a six piece melodic metal outfit consisting of Mikko Laihanen (drums), Jaakko Mäntymaa (Vocals), Antti Röksä (Rhythm Guitar), Mika Koskimies (Clean Vocals), Johnny Texas (Bass), Petri Paronen (Rhythm/ Lead Guitar and Orchestrations), born and raised in Finland and for the time being based in the southern parts of the country. This fall they broke the seal with their debut single ’Eve of the End’, featuring the grand Ella Tepponen and October 15 they release their EP ’Tarnished Dreams Run Wild’.

Talking about the songs on their debut EP, Paronen says: ”In many ways all the songs have one theme, which can be described as life difficulties. But still after a lot is lost in a journey of life there still lays hope at the end of the tunnel. All the songs are personal to me as a writer, Jaakko who wrote most of the lyrics pretty much read my mind and put in words what was hiding in my mind.”

Also to mention for their part in creating the cold nordic landscape of onrushing energy that is the music of Clear Vision, is Teemu Aalto (recording, mixing, producing), well known for his magic touch that he infused in every single track of the upcoming new EP, Grammy nominated mastering engineer Svante Forsbäck (mastering) and singer Ella Tepponen who is featuring on the bands debut single Eve Of the End as well as on the EP track Coma Cut.

Other than being a very skilled and experienced group – most band members have had music as a big part of their lives for more than 20 years – they offer a unique sound with rock solid vocal line up and catchy choruses, making them interesting to experienced rock fans as well as audiences new to the scene.
More breathtaking music and energetic live shows are to expect in the future, as the band is in the process of writing their first full length album and getting ready for touring summer 2022.

’Tarnished Dreams Run Wild’ is out everywhere via Raw Street Noise on October 15.

Track list:
01. Coma Cut (ISRC: SE6HB2104501)
02. Eve of the End (ISRC: SE6HB2104502)
03. Stone Exhumed (ISRC: SE6HB2104503)

Music: Petri Paronen, Teemu Aalto

MARK STEIN, Voice of VANILLA FUDGE, Releases First Solo Album ‘There’s A Light’ on November 26th

Iconic musician shines with a new collection of songs about Hope, Unity, Concern and Redemption. Sidelined by the Covid-19 pandemic and unable to perform live with popular rock band, Vanilla Fudge, lead vocalist and keyboardist MARK STEIN decided to put his down time to good use. He wanted to write and record songs about what was going on in America and the rest of the world. He saw social unrest, racial disparity, political division, violence, widespread sickness, and an entire world on the brink of an economic disaster due to the spread of a disease like no other. Yet, at the same time, Stein saw a great opportunity.

As Mark states, “I knew we, as a country, had been here before,” said Stein. “The great world wars; the civil rights movement of the 1960s; the natural disasters such as Katrina and Sandy; and of course, 9/11. In every case we rose together as one nation; one united force and came back stronger than we had been before. Within each person I believe there is a light; a hope; and a desire to do the right thing. My song, “We Are One,” speaks of this unity and what I know our country and the world is capable of.”

View video here: WE ARE ONE

‘There’s A Light’, Mark’s first ever solo album is a thematic collection of ten songs which weave a remarkable story of what America was, has become, and may or may not face in its future. Mark continues, “This is an album about hope, but at the same time, I had to sing about the dangers of division. As John Lennon once sang, it is time to “Come Together.” I have had some of these songs in the can but didn’t really have the right outlet for them. When I started the newest collection of songs during the early weeks of the pandemic, it dawned on me that I had created an album with a theme. These songs are reflections of what the world is about now, and what we need to do to bring us together again.”

Aside from the aforementioned “We Are One,” Stein has written and recorded songs whose titles pretty much sum up what they are about. Including “We Are Survivors,” “Lyin’.” “Let’s Pray for Peace,” along with powerful new versions of The Rascal’s “People Gotta Be Free,” and The Temptations’ “Ball of Confusion.” “I love those two songs,” says Stein whose own band were playing the same venues as The Rascals and The Temps during the 1960s. “These songs are just as relevant today as they were over 50 years ago.  As I often do with The Fudge, I gave both of these songs my own interpretation, providing as much punch and power as I could to each one.”

Stein closes ‘There’s A Light’ with an astonishing version of “America The Beautiful,” sung with a careful balance of patriotism and concern for the future. “America is the greatest country in the world,” says Stein. “Everyone around the world knows this, but we are heading into some very deep and choppy waters. We have to keep it together and unite or we could lose everything we have spent nearly 250 years building.” Deko Entertainment president Bruce Pucciarello state on releasing Mark’s first ever solo record, “It’s an amazing selection of music, almost a lifetime’s worth of emotion and wisdom, and Mark bares his soul in every song with grace and a timelessness that only a true legend can deliver.  Honestly, this takes me backward and forward at the same time. You will all love it!”

Mark Stein first came to prominence in Vanilla Fudge, formed with Carmine Appice, Tim Bogert and Vince Martell. Sold out world tours; hit albums and singles; and a reputation as a group steeped in cutting-edge musicianship has allowed Vanilla Fudge to be one of the most influential acts to rise from the revolutionary 1960s.  In addition to his many years within Vanilla Fudge, Stein has also worked extensively with such rock legends as Alice Cooper, Dave Mason, and the late guitarist Tommy Bolin. He has also made guest appearances with Deep Purple, Carl Palmer, Steve Miller and once recorded and sang with Michael Jackson.

TEMPERANCE Unveil New Single ‘Breaking The Rules of Heavy Metal’

After releasing their vibrant fifth studio album, Viridian, in 2020, TEMPERANCE – maestros of modern melodic/symphonic metal – delight their devotees with the persuasive new offering Diamanti, to be released on November 19, 2021 via Napalm Records. With Diamanti, the exceptionally skilled Italian outfit once again showcases their extraordinary ability to merge brilliant vocal melodies, hefty power metal guitar riffing, and symphonic soundscapes in perfect harmony – all dressed in modern surroundings. This is an offering that fans of bands like Amaranthe will fall in love with immediately!

The new single, “Breaking The Rules of Heavy Metal”, breaks in with full force, telling an epic tale and creating a far-reaching sense of common bond. This absolute anthem showcases the powerful strength and energy of all three vocalists Alessia Scolletti, Michele Guaitoli and Marco Pastorino, providing a taste of the upcoming album.

Michele Guaitoli (vocals, piano) on the new single:
“If there is one thing that makes Temperance unique on the scene, is that we just don’t care about any commercial rule. We write our music for how we like it. We don’t ask ourselves “will this work?” We don’t question our songwriting putting it in relation of the market.
This attitude is the same that we have when it comes to accepting limits: we don’t accept the idea of having limits. We are here to break the rules. Why just one singer? Let’s have three. Why just a style? Let’s play many. If we want something, we fight for it even if we need to break the rules of a certain scheme. What about heavy metal? Does it have rules? Does it have a scheme? If yes, we’re here to break it.”

Check out the music video for “Breaking The Rules of Heavy Metal” HERE:

Diamanti was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Epica, Amaranthe), with the cover artwork once again created by Yann Souetre (Ayreon).

Marco Pastorino (vocals, guitar) on the new album:
“With Diamanti, we’ve managed to combine our best qualities and select the best TEMPERANCE songs so far.  It’s not our heaviest album, it’s not our fastest work, but surely it’s our favourite one so far! We weren’t necessarily supposed to record a new album only one year after Viridian, but luckily we made it! In this album you will find our trademarks: the vocal harmonies, the catchy melodies, but also epic stuff, strong arrangements, and long tracks – I am very proud of Diamanti and I am convinced we have written a bombastic album!”
