Italian legendary death metallers SADIST, who on January 29th 2021 celebrated the band’s 30th anniversary, have signed a deal with Agonia Records, for the release of the band’s ninth album “Firescorched”. The album is nearing completion and is expected to be released in 2022.
Composer, guitarist & keyboardist Tommy Talamanca, who co-founded the band in 1991, had this to say on the deal: “Partnering with Agonia Records feels like the start of a new chapter for Sadist and we’re very much looking forward to a great collaboration.” Reflecting on the new album, he added: “Firescorched is probably the most extreme, fast, and yet, experimental album in Sadist’s career. Being privileged to have a great team by our side, definitely makes us extremely happy.”
SADIST was formed on January 29, 1991, and is renowned for their progressive death oriented productions ‘Above the Light’ (1993), ‘Tribe’ (1995) and ‘Crust’ (1997). SADIST split up after releasing ‘Lego’ (2000) but reunited again in 2005. Thereafter the group released a self-titled album ‘Sadist’ (2007), followed by ‘Season in Silence’ (2010), ‘Hyaena’ (2015) and ‘Spellbound’ (2018). Their compositions involve heavy usage of guitar and keyboard solos, with jazz and Middle Eastern influences.

The American frontier: Where lost highways stretch into darkness and undisturbed deserts speak a language as ominous as it is otherworldly. This is the tableau of SPIRITWORLD.
Self-described as ‘DEATH WESTERN’, SpiritWorld is also the aural vision quest of Stu Folsom, a Las Vegas native who has taken the intensity of that blasted desert heat and given it a voice on the band’s debut, ‘Pagan Rhythms’.
Today, the band has shared another offering from the LP, in the form of a new music video for the track“The Bringer of Light”, which fans can view at 6pm CET HERE.
Speaking about the new video, Folsom comments:
“The film for ‘The Bringer of Light’ has been a long time in the making. The director, Todd Hailstone, and I met in high school. He roadied on my first band’s first tour and we lived together at the infamous Hammer Lane junkyard squat when we were young, dirt poor and wild as fuck. It was incredible to reconnect artistically after all these years and hand the reins over to someone that I have spent hours punishing with my plans for the fiction and film sides of the SpiritWorld project.”
Stu goes on to add, “I asked Todd to come up with a treatment that would introduce the world to the characters of Godlessness and Pagan Rhythms on a budget that should barely cover another tired ‘band in warehouse headbanging’ video, and he was able to completely nail the John Ford meets 70’s horror vibe anyways!!!! I am so thankful to all of the talented actors and crew that helped create this video, it turned out super cool and I can’t wait for people to check it out!”
SPIRITWORLD “Pagan Rhythms”:
Pagan Rhythms (5:16)
The Bringer of Light (2:05)
Unholy Passages (3:54)
Night Terrors (3:00)
The Demon Storm (3:43)
Armageddon Honkytonk & Saloon (3:18)
Godless (3:09)
Comancheria (3:10)
Ritual Human Sacrifice (3:49)
Conceived entirely by Folsom and produced by Sam Pura (The Story So Far, Self Defense Family), songs like “Comancheria” or the blast-beat propelled “Unholy Passages”, courtesy of drummer Thomas Pridgen (The Mars Volta/Trash Talk) who plays on half the album with ex-Apiary skins-man Adam Elliot playing on the other.
SpiritWorld will begin their long ride this Fall, playing one of their inaugural performances for “Pagan Rhythms” at Decibel Magazine’s Metal & Beer Fest, being held in Los Angeles, December 10-11.
“It’s about trying to write killer songs and craft a classic record,”says Stu, whose love for the likes of George Jones or the legendary L.A. punk band X runs as deep as his metallic roots. “With ‘Pagan Rhythms’, I set out to distill my love of thrash, old school death metal, and hardcore into something new that would hit like a tomahawk right in the face. When I first started telling people about this idea, I had to merge Western imagery, horror fiction, and heavy metal into an all-out sonic assault, it seemed ridiculous, but I truly believe that if you make great records people are a lot more willing to embrace your weirdness and come along for the ride.”
The debut album ‘Pagan Rhythms’ will be re-released on November 5th, 2021 via Century Media Records and is now available (physical) for the first time outside of North America.
The album is up for streaming on your platform of choice and available in various formats for PRE-ORDER

After dropping one of the most anticipated metal albums of the year, Wallflowers – which topped the charts worldwide by achieving #1 and top 10 rankings in the US, UK, Canada, Germany and beyond – JINJER wasted no time hitting the road in Europe, once again proving that if there is a chance to tour- even in these strange times, that JINJER will do almost anything (legally!) to give their fans a show to remember.
This European Tour, together with French metalists Hypno5e and Napalm Records labelmates SPACE OF VARIATIONS, was not only JINJER‘s first tour since Covid-19 put a stop to everything, but for many local promoters, venues and fans alike – it was the first international tour to hit their cities since March 2020, and served as a beacon to the music community that touring is indeed possible, if you take a few calculated risks.
The band stated to fans on social media: “EU TOUR IS OVER! Wow, what a tour this was! For JINJER, as well as our brothers in Hypno5e and Space Of Variations, this run was important on so many different levels. For one, we were one of the first tours to cross borders since the pandemic started – and many shows we were the first full capacity shows for promoters and clubs since then as well, or the first metal shows, or the first shows you got to watch standing up with very little restrictions – and not to mention our very first tour since March 2020! This tour was hard for all involved, but it was 200% worth it. For all other bands wondering if they should move their tours to 2022… please do not – the clubs, the promoters, the local crews, the caterers, the local bands and especially the fans NEED you to play this year and make things normal again! If we can do it then you probably can as well… Thanks to each and every single one of you that came out to these shows – we made a small piece of history together!!! PS: COMING TO AMERICA TOUR 2021 IS UP NEXT!!”
Check out the attached tour impressions below!
JINJER are currently filming their next single and gearing up for their massive North American Tour together with Suicide Silence and All Hail The Yeti.

JINJER‘s exceptional precision of modern metal paired with tough as nails attitude has earned them a fiercely loyal, rabid fanbase and massive critical acclaim, making JINJER one of the most talked about bands today and garnering them many sold out performances across the globe.
Since announcing Wallflowers, the band has graced numerous renowned international magazine covers, booked the biggest stories, sold out countless tour dates and their first two new singles, “Vortex” and “Mediator”, both cracked the multi-million stream mark in no time. The new album not only presents a methodical and premeditated next step in the band’s already imposing career, but moreover, it mirrors the personal adversities they’ve faced due to the worldwide events of the last year. Wallflowers is not only an upgrade to the progressive groove metal sound that all JINJER fans crave, but also a sonic pressure cooker of technical musicianship, emotional fury and an intense soundtrack befitting the harrowing state of the world today. Hailing from the conflict-ridden Ukrainian region of Donetsk but now calling Kiev their home base, JINJER truly do not mince words – or riffs – on Wallflowers.

Guitarist and singer-songwriter, TROY REDFERN, dubbed as Britain’s “King of Slide Guitar,” who recently released his critically acclaimed album The Fire Cosmic, and known for his 1930’s Triolian and National vintage resonator guitars, has signed an endorsement deal with the world’s leading guitar strings manufacturer, Ernie Ball.
“When I first started playing guitar at age thirteen the very first set of strings I bought were Ernie Ball along with my first electric guitar,” says Troy.
“All of my guitar heroes were using them, the ‘who’s who’ of the world’s leading guitarists, and there’s a reason why. Ernie Ball strings are the best, most consistent, comfortable strings out there. They just feel like home to me, especially after using them for over thirty years. I’m totally honoured to now be endorsed by a company that I’ve loved for my whole guitar playing career.”
Written on a vintage National guitar, and accompanied with a wide open ¾ drum groove and whiskey drenched vocal, Troy describes his latest single Stone as “an Appalachian style roots rocker that builds into a stratospheric anthem, and features a slide guitar solo that stretches out across vast sonic horizons.”
Stone epitomises what Troy Redfern does best – honest heavy-weight blues and John Lee Hooker riffs on steroids. Watch the music video for the single HERE
Following his tour supporting Robert Jon & The Wreck on their UK tour last month, Troy will tour the UK supporting The Quireboys in October and November 2021, January and June 2022, Wille & The Bandits in March and April 2022, and When Rivers Meet in April and May 2022.
Troy’s latest album The Fire Cosmic follows five unprecedented albums that he released in 2020. The album was recorded at the Rockfield Studios in North Wales, the same studio where Queen recorded all their early albums including Sheer Heart Attack (1974) and A Night At The Opera (1975) – the latter featuring the legendary single Bohemian Rhapsody.

THE THREE TREMORS, featuring Tim “Ripper” Owens , Harry “The Tyrant” Conklin, and Sean “The Hell Destroyer”, have announced their new album GUARDIANS OF THE VOID and a corresponding US Tour for Nov 2021.
Check out the video for single ‘Bone Breaker‘ here:
Coming off the successful release of their self-titled debut album, several North American and European tours, release of the solo versions of the first album, and some festival performances, the Three Tremors shot out of a cannon at a frantic pace. They were pursuing an aggressive pace of live performances when the shutdown forced them to cut short their North American tour in the middle of their run in early 2020. They wasted no time however and got to work on another new album. Now their sophomore effort GUARDIANS OF THE VOID is ready for blast off and will hit the streets worldwide November 5th, 2021.
Twelve songs are found on this wicked rocker of an album and once again they cover all the bases of heavy metal. As with all Steel Cartel releases, only the songs that receive video releases will be on the streaming platforms, so the physical medium and the fans that support and collect them, are the bands priority and focus. And speaking of great physical product, the band has once again hired MARC SASSO to do the cover artwork once again. MARC SASSO is best known for his work with such companies as MARVEL, the WWE and Halford, Dio, Cage and many others. He has hit it out of the park once again with this haunting, other-worldly painting that captures the mysterious essence of the album title perfectly.
Tim Owens describes how the recording process went down. “We had just started our second North American tour promoting the Solo Versions that we had just released, when everything started to shut down. It was a shame because we had some really good momentum and the shows were selling well including a few that were sold out in advance. When we realized that we could be sitting home for a while we all started putting these new songs together and recording them.”
Harry said “I had moved to Greece during this whole time and they guys started sending me song after song at a furious pace. The songs were kick ass and I found it easier and more natural to collaborate and add my ideas and nuances this second time around. We have toured and done so many shows together now the comfort level was there and they came together really quick. The end result is amazing I think.”
Sean added, “Everyone in the band has a lot of other projects going on so it was good we could all pull together and make this follow up album. Now Sean our drummer (Elg) is also in KK’s Priest with Ripper so we are stoked that we could not only put out another record but also get a tour in before everyone gets busy. We have spent so much time together we are like a heavy metal street gang and have a blast performing these songs and going on the road. With these new songs available from the GUARDIANS OF THE VOID album, our setlist will be even more vicious than before if that is even possible ha!”
In true Steel Cartel fashion some amazing pre-order package combinations are available for advance purchase at this location.
There will be 3 different versions of the double gatefold vinyl GUARDIANS OF THE VOID. The original version, the 1 in 5 variant version and the virgin cover version. The 1 in 5 variant version has completely different cover art (again by Marc Sasso) on the front and back and will be limited to one copy for every 5 standard versions that are produced. The virgin cover version has the original Marc Sasso artwork without band logos or album titles.

After a year-long virus-induced break, the time has come: ACCEPT will start their long-awaited “Too Mean To Die” tour on 15 January 2022 in Oberhausen (Turbinenhalle). “Too mean to die” – rarely has a tour title been more fitting!
“It’s been a tough year because we really wanted to get on stage but couldn’t for the reasons we all know,” explains ACCEPT mastermind Wolf Hoffmann. “Anyway, now the time of suffering has come to an end. And now only one thing counts: ACCEPT and our fans are too mean to die – we won’t let them get us down and rock together in 2022.“
From mid-January to the end of February, the metal Teutons will be touring across Europe, playing 32 gigs in 16 countries, ten of which will be in Germany. ACCEPT will be joined by a mega special guest: MOTÖRHEAD guitarist Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons!
Also in their luggage: 2-3 songs from their current album “Too Mean To Die”, which shot into the German charts at No. 2 eight months ago and reached Top 10 positions in several tour countries. Hoffmann: “The album is really strong. And the selected tracks absolutely deserve to finally be brought to the live stage and played in front of the ACCEPT fans. We are already very excited to see which of the new songs will be celebrated the most by the audience.“
The rest of ACCEPT‘s 2022 set is beyond reproach as far as partying goes! Fans can look forward to classics like ‘Balls To The Wall’, ‘Princess Of The Dawn’, ‘Fast As A Shark’and many, many more.
By the way: ACCEPT will rock Europe for the first time with their complete “guitar army” – consisting of Wolf Hoffmann, Uwe Lulis and “newcomer” Philip Shouse! “That’s already a lot of fun,” Hoffmann is pleased to say, “the US fans really liked it on our 2021 tour, anyway.“
And ACCEPT shouter Mark Tornillo explains, “After the cruel years 2020 & 2021 for all of us worldwide, we are happy that we can finally present our new album live to the fans in Europe. We are very excited about the reactions. And we’re looking forward to finally being back on stage in front of you soon and looking into your smiling faces as we rock out together with you.“
In advance, all ACCEPT fans can already look forward to November 5th – the day the band will release the digital live single “The Undertaker” via Nuclear Blast – a fine foretaste of the European tour in January/February 2022!
Tickets for the ACCEPT – “Too Mean To Die” Tour 2022 are on sale now at all known ticket agencies. There also will be the opportunity to purchase exclusive VIP tickets (incl. meet & greet and photos with the band) at each show.
