‘Leaden Air’, the debut single by MY INNER CHAOS, is out today on all digital platforms via Volcano Records & Promotion.
Though it’s their first release under this moniker, the band is composed of musicians already active within the Italian metal scene. They present a sound that blends industrial and alternative influences, through an intense and visionary track that moves between dark atmospheres, razor-sharp riffs, and a deep, dramatic melodic vein. Leaden Air is a dark reflection on the invisible weight of unspoken emotions, the suffocating grip of anxiety, and the moments when even the air seems to turn to lead. The piercing voice of the brilliant and intriguing Bia Redchaos cuts through a carefully crafted sonic landscape, where echoes of bands like 3Teeth, Delain, and Sick ‘N Beautiful converge in a raw and powerful artistic statement.
The track was recorded in the studio with meticulous attention to detail to enhance its evocative power, and the release is accompanied by striking cover art and a visionary music video available here:
Vallorch reveal a new chapter of their ancestral storytelling with the official video for “Antermoia”, the third single taken from their latest album “The Circle” (released March 14th) via Rockshots Records.
After the uplifting folk euphoria of “Circle Of The Moon” and the energy of “Drink Some More!”, “Antermoia” unveils the most intimate, melancholic and dramatic side of the band’s sound, positioned at the emotional core of the album’s nocturnal journey.
Rooted in the ancient legend of the Lake of Antermoia, the song recounts the doomed love between Oswald and the mountain spirit Antermoia. Born under a curse that shatters any instrument he touches, Oswald is destined to suffer through music rather than be uplifted by it. When he falls in love with the voice of the Alpine nymph, he unknowingly seals their fate: one night, he speaks her true name aloud, breaking the laws of nature. In that moment, Antermoia dissolves into the waters of the lake that bears her name, leaving only her harp floating on its surface. As Oswald lifts it, miraculously intact, he realises the curse is broken but at the price of losing her forever. From then on, he wanders the world playing their story in an endless attempt to ease a grief that cannot be healed.
Musically, “Antermoia” stands as the symbolic ballad of “The Circle” – a delicate yet powerful fusion of folk and symphonic metal built on a steady emotional crescendo. The track opens with the warm tone of Glorya Lyr’s Celtic harp and Sara Tacchetto’s ethereal vocals, gradually expanding into rich layers of harmonies from Leonardo Dalla Via and Marco Povolo, the expressive violin of Serena Zucco (Adgarios) and the tight rhythmic foundation. Waves of electric guitars and symphonic arrangements rise and fall throughout the song, amplifying its themes of loss, devotion and the wild, unforgiving beauty of the Dolomites.
Within the broader narrative of “The Circle“, “Antermoia” plays a pivotal role – both musically and conceptually. It is one of the three tracks that represent the linguistic and cultural roots of Vallorch (Italian, Cimbrian and Venetian) and it captures the most contemplative and sorrowful facet of the album’s overarching theme: the Night. If “To The Silver Summit” embodies the climb toward the light and “Circle Of The Moon” celebrates life and togetherness, “Antermoia” is the moment of stillness and reflection – where music becomes the only bridge between the world of the living and the world of spirits.
The music video further enhances the band’s connection with the myths, landscapes and timeless atmosphere of the Dolomites. Visual storytelling intertwines with Vallorch’s unique blend of folk metal, symphonic depth and melodic power, highlighting the duality at the heart of their craft: the intimacy of ancient tales and the grandeur of their modern, dynamic sound. For fans of Eluveitie, Alestorm, Epica and Wind Rose, “Antermoia” shows Vallorch at their most expressive, weaving emotion, folklore and cinematic power into a single, unforgettable piece.
Produced at Hypnoise Recording Studio by Filippo Galvanelli and mastered by Lasse Lammert (Wind Rose, Gloryhammer, Alestorm), “The Circle” marks a new artistic chapter for Vallorch. After years of evolution and renewed line-up cohesion, the band emerges stronger than ever – ready to bring their modern folk metal vision, rooted in Cimbrian heritage and Alpine traditions to stages across Italy and beyond.
Under the blazing Copenhell sun, as the crowd roared and the forest spirits awoke, TROLD unleashed a moment that burned itself into the memory of every witness. “Til Gilde Under Bøgen (Live at Copenhell ’25)” captures that exact spark – a wild celebration where folk melodies met metal fury, and unity reigned beneath the open sky.
This live rendition transforms one of the band’s most beloved anthems into a living ritual: drums pounding like ancient hearts, leads and riffs intertwining like roots beneath the soil, and thousands of voices rising in ecstatic chorus. It’s raw, triumphant, and utterly alive; a reminder that the bond between band and audience is not just heard, but felt.
With this new single, Trold invite you once again to raise your horns, stomp your boots, and join the feast, for the trolls are still dancing, and the forest still sings.

Oathbound is a Progressive Metalcore band from Seattle (USA) channeling the raw, unfiltered emotion that defines the human condition while crafting sonic soundscapes that are as emotionally resonant as they are sonically powerful! The band just dropped a new single and post-apocalyptic music video entitled “Searching For An Answer“. The music video was directed by Brandon Hartsock and filmed on location at Oregon Dunes National Park in Reedsport, OR. This is the first single & music video taken from their upcoming full-length album Colors In Grey which will be released on March 6, 2026 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced by Oathbound, and mixed/mastered by Aaron Chaparian (As I Lay Dying, Bleeding Through, Chimaira) at Iron Audio.
“From the very beginning, we knew that Searching for an Answer would be one of the singles on this album and that we wanted to release a story-driven video for it” says guitarist Taylor Harper. “The song resonated with us because everyone experiences moments of hopelessness—and what could feel more hopeless than total isolation in a lifeless desert? The visual style was inspired by the Dune film series and the Fallout franchise, which helped shape the desolate, immersive world we aimed to create.”
This latest full-length from Oathbound, Colors In Grey, is exactly the kind of record the progressive metalcore scene needs right now. It’s a definitive statement that firmly entrenches the band in the upper echelon of the genre. More than a simple collection of songs, this is a rigorous, nine-track emotional excavation. The Seattle outfit has always possessed a gift for channeling raw human experience—confronting themes like trauma, addiction, and heartbreak head-on—but here they successfully forge those dark elements into a work of unexpected, profound catharsis. The sheer sonic ambition is evident from the moment the music hits. Colors In Grey was self-produced, a commitment that highlights the band’s unflinching confidence in their vision. Crucially, that vision was polished by the masterful mixing and mastering of Aaron Chaparian at Iron Audio. We should also note the visual component: Aaron Varshay’s striking artwork perfectly captures the emotional tension and nuance that defines the record’s entire mood. Throughout the project, Oathbound demonstrates a complete command of their craft. They seamlessly merge the punishing intensity of metalcore with powerful, controlled vocals and a technical precision that rivals their most lauded peers. They’ve constructed a focused narrative that ensures every track feels essential, mirroring the crushing lows and necessary highs of the human experience. Colors In Grey is far more than a technical blueprint; it is a forceful, profoundly human document that reminds us why metal, at its best, is the ultimate vehicle for spiritual connection and catharsis. This is the sound of a band operating at an undeniable peak.
The album was produced by Oathbound, and mixed/mastered by Aaron Chaprian (As I Lay Dying, Bleeding Through, Chimaira) at Iron Audio. Artwork for the album and singles was created by Aaron Varshay. Colors In Grey by Oathbound will be released on March 6, 2026 via Eclipse Records.
