GOAT TORMENT Sign to Season of Mist, New Album Out in Fall 2021

Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of GOAT TORMENT! The Belgian blackened death metal outfit will be releasing their new album via the label in the fall of 2021.

GOAT TORMENT comments on the signing: “6 years after the release of ‘Sermons To Death’ Goat Torment is back with a third studio album. We are proud to announce that we have teamed up with Season of Mist to unleash this beast! With fierce we extend the path of Death and Darkness.“

For a glimpse of what’s to come, check out GOAT TORMENT‘s Bandcamp HERE

GOAT TORMENT was formed in 2008 by Kwel and K.J. with the intention to create music as a weapon of mass destruction and to annihilate everything which the so-called society stands for. For a start Kwel was supposed to play bass and K.J. would handle the vocals. But they didn’t find a guitarist who fitted with the ideology on a serious level. Thus Kwel decided to handle all the guitar parts and K.J.. started to play bass. After some months of research, the band recruited drummer Perversor. Then the band released a 4-track demo tape, released in 2009 through Terrorghoul Productions from Austria. The reactions were tremendous and bigger labels contacted the band interested to release the future offerings of GOAT TORMENT.

At this point, the band shared stages all over Europe with bands such as Grave Miasma, Hell Militia, Enthroned, Black Crucifixion, Black Witchery, The Devil’s blood…to name but a few. At the beginning of 2010 GT had to part ways with drummer Perversor due to musical differences.
During the early days of April 2010 a new burning entity was found: S. claimed the throne behind the battery. The Death wielding Trinity of GOAT TORMENT was complete. New songs were written, gigs were played and blood was shed.

Exactly one year later, the band entered the infamous Blackout Studio in Brussels (BE) to record some tracks for two upcoming releases: A 7” split EP with The Beast which was released at the beginning of 2012 and later that year another 7” EP , called “Into The Mouth of the Serpent”. Directly after the split EP was released, Kwel an S. decided to part ways with K.J.. due to different views about their future. In that moment GT decided to go on as a duet recruiting session members for live-shows.

The band returned to Blackout Studio in the fall of 2012 to record their first full-length album ‘Dominande Tenebrae’ ,which was released in February 2013 by Amor Fati Productions from Germany. After a year of a few European shows, the band had their first live appearance on American soil (Maryland Deathfest XII). The band had plans to go on as a four piece, but that didn’t work out because of different views. A South American tour was planned for August 2014 with the Belgian maniacs of ENTHRONED, but the two bands were forced to cancel one month before due to the irresponsible promoter.

In September 2014, S. decided to leave the band, due to other personal priorities and having no time anymore for drumming. It didn’t take long for Kwel to find somebody to take over the hammers. A new era began and Torturer (Mor Dagor, Bethlehem, ex-Belphegor) joined GOAT TORMENT as a new full member, so the duo was complete again. The band returned to Blackout Multimedia Studio in the beginning of 2015 to record their second full-length album.

In the summer of 2015, ‘Sermons To Death’ was released by Amor Fati Productions. The band toured the US West Coast in October 2015, accompanied by Saroth and Vagus Nox as live members. Shortly after, Vagus Nox joined forces to write new material. At the end of 2020, the third studio album had been completed.

ABOUT THE VIOLENT HEARTS
Born from the smouldering embers of celebrated British punks Sharks, The Violent Hearts put a distinctive spin on the classic punk influences that formed their musical DNA. Surfing a wave of thundering drums, rumbling basslines and stabs of stormy guitar all unpinned by intoxicatingly rich vocals, The Violent Hearts post-punk groove swings with such confident swagger, you would think the band were seasoned veterans, not relative newcomers.

Stripping everything back to a minimalist core, the band capture a sound the evokes an era where The Clash, The Jam and the Buzzcocks reigned supreme. However, while casting a nostalgic, romanticised look backwards, The Violent Hearts have their eyes forward as they prepare to release their long awaited debut album.

After releasing the twin tracks of Porcelain World and Hex On Me in early 2020 which saw them earn praise from New Noise Magazine, PopMatters, and DyingScene, the band quickly solidified their live reputation supporting everyone’s favourite satanic doo-wop band, Twin Temple. Then like the rest of the world, their plans were put on hold when the pandemic came to town.

During the subsequent months, the band, made up of former Sharks frontman James Mattock, bassist Carl Murrihy and The Computers sticksman Aidan Sinclair, have found a home via Australian based record label, Dinner For Wolves, (The Screaming Jets, Ekko Park, Electric Mary) who released the single Terminal in January and Anxiety in May.

Mattock says of the signing “We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be teaming up with the good people at DFW moving forward with future releases. Finally, our record will see the light of day, and there’s plenty more where that came from. Onwards.”

International Hard Rock sensation SAINTED SINNERS have signed with ROAR! Rock of Angels Records!

Today we proudly announce the signing of a multi-album deal with Sainted Sinners and welcome the band to the ROAR! Rock of Angels roster.

In 2016 Frank Pané, known for his work as guitar player for Bonfire, Dark Blue Inc. amongst others, formed the international group Sainted Sinners under the theme “The Essence of Rock’n Roll” to present the fans with the ultimate classic Hard Rock Show.

SAINTED SINNERS first line-up included along with Frank Pané’s long-time colleague Berci Hirleman from Budapest, Hungary on drums international experienced musicians. In 2020 the lineup got strengthened by the addition of Jack Meille (Tygers of Pan Tang) on vocals, Ernesto Ghezzi (Gotthard) on Keys and Rico Bowen on bass. With their critically acclaimed 3rd album “Unlocked & reloaded” in 2020 the “new” line-up proved to be the strongest and most creative incarnation of the band yet.

Now, not even a year later Sainted Sinners further evolved their great working chemistry and will return with the band’s fourth soon to be announced album, which is scheduled for a late 2021 release. This time with a highly experienced and powerful partner in forms of their new label Rock of Angels Records. The plans are set on behalf of the band and their strong new label to attack -in a very positive way- the world with a healthy dose of their essence of Rock ‘n Roll consisting of 10 new songs and a surprise cover done Sainted Sinners style.

The SINNERS will continue to deliver what they are known for: a musical journey through all facets of 70s & 80s inspired Heavy Rock. Powerful, blues & soul-soaked vocals, virtuoso guitar & ham-mond duels, groovy & pumping rhythm section. All presented to you with a rockin‘ package of diversity and musicality emphazised by the individual styles of the band members.

EMPLOYED TO SERVE Release Official Music Video for Single “Mark Of The Grave”

EMPLOYED TO SERVE have released an accompanying music video for their latest single, “Mark Of The Grave” – check it out HERE.

“Mark Of The Grave” is the second single from Employed To Serve’s forthcoming album, Conquering, and demonstrates the band at their most metal yet. The video is a trip, to say the least…

“With this video we just wanted to have fun,” says Employed To Serve frontwoman, Justine Jones. “After months of being cooped up inside, we wanted to focus on a project that was more light-hearted. We shot the music video at Miracle theatre in Cornwall with director Ryan Mackfall. The theatre was kind enough to give us free-reign of their studio and stage costumes. Everything was shot in front of a green screen to maximise the opportunity to have fun with the edit. We then sent over a few notes to VFX artist Nadav Rotem and assistant Jake Potter, as soon as they came back with Sammy doing a solo on a flying, flaming skull I knew it was going to be my favourite video – it’s wild and we love it.”

Conquering, due for release on September 17th 2021, will be Employed To Serve’s second full-length album on the Spinefarm label.

Drawing influence from the music of their youth and a new perspective on how to nurture the positive aspects of humanity and individual growth, Conquering is a celebration and acknowledgement of triumph in the face of a world that can be relentlessly adversarial.

ETS began recording the album in the “unforgiving winter” of 2020; produced & mixed by Lewis Johns at The Ranch, Southampton, mastered by Grant Berry at Fader Mastering, Employed To Serve took the time thrown at them by a world stopped still to write their most visceral material to date.

Pre-orders for Employed To Serve’s fourth studio album are now live, with an instant download of singles, “Exist” & “Mark Of The Grave,” plus special bundle options including t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, pink socks, skateboards and limited colour variant vinyl. Order your copy HERE.

CONQUERING TRACK LISTING:
Universal Chokehold
Exist
Twist The Blade
Sun Up To Sun Down
The Mistake
We Don’t Need You
Set In Stone
Mark Of The Grave
World Ender
Conquering
Stand Alone

Employed To Serve recently appeared on the mainstage of Download Festival at Donington Park. The event marked a moment in history, seeing live music return as part of a government-backed Pilot scheme. The Guardian noted Employed To Serve as a festival highlight, commenting, “Employed to Serve exude venom” whilst Metal Hammer called their set “relentless” & “blistering”; Kerrang! were just as enthused, adding, “Sammy Urwin’s sledgehammer riffs awaken Download’s inner headbanger, while Justine Jones’ barbed screams urge those gathered to toss any notion of social distancing in the bin.”

Following this appearance, Employed To Serve were swiftly announced as support to Gojira on their extensive UK & European tour.
