Waiting on the world to get back on its feet it has been a bit quiet around the Swedish punk-/metal outfit BOMBUS. But often quiet times have their reasons and can create great things.

The five heavy rockers used the time to emerge with a bang in 2021!

With their new track “Abomination Rock’n’Roll” they are having an affair with Motörhead, W.A.S.P. and Poison Idea at the same time! See for yourself and watch the new video HERE!

The single (digital release only) is available since today on all streaming platforms and can be checked out HERE.

Head and leader of the band “Feffe” (guitar/vocals), finds the following words:

“’Abomination Rock’n’Roll’ is a nugget for fans of Punk Rock Metal. It’s the first out of the two tracks we release this summer. Enjoy! And remember, you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Or so they say.“

Another single will be released in late summer this year which is a forerunner what to expect in the near future! Stay tuned!

EXMORTUS Announce Summer U.S. Tour Dates; New Album Due In 2022

The sound of steel will ring out loud and proud once again this summer, as the death/thrash/shred metal quartet EXMORTUS return to the tour trail for their first live dates in more than 18 months. As road warriors who have toured extensively in recent years with the likes of Amon Amarth, Death Angel, Abbath, Marty Friedman, Obituary and Dark Tranquillity, it was an uncharacteristically quiet period for the California-based slaves to the sword, but the band promises that their summer shows are the first of many more to come.

“It’s been way too long!” exclaims singer/guitarist Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez. “Words cannot express how excited we are to hit the road again! Can’t wait to shred your heads off this Summer!”

EXMORTUS on tour (* w/ Lich King):
7/22     Chico, CA – Tackle Box
7/23     San Francisco, CA – DNA Lounge
7/24     Reno, NV – Devastation on the Desert Festival
8/14     San Diego, CA – Brick by Brick w/ Helsott
8/15     Mesa, AZ – Nile Underground *
8/16     Las Vegas, NV – Dive Bar *
8/17     Salt Lake City, UT – Metro Music Hall *
8/18     Boise, ID – Shredder *
8/19     Seattle, WA – El Corazon *
8/20     Portland, OR – Bossanova Ballroom *
8/21     Ukiah, CA – Redwood Metalfest Afterparty

While off the road, the band has been working diligently on new music that they plan to release in 2022. It’s been some time since the group released a five-song EP in Oct 2019 titled “Legions of the Undead” in conjunction with M-Theory Audio. In addition to neoclassical-tinged covers of Danny Elfman’s “Beetlejuice” theme and Bernard Hermann’s iconic “Psycho Theme,” the set included two new original tracks and a powerful rendition of “Night On Bald Mountain,” a classical piece originally written in the 19th Century by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky. More information on EXMORTUS’ new album recording and new label home will be revealed in the coming months.

Founded by guitarist Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez when he was just 12 years old, EXMORTUS released their debut album, “In Hatred’s Flame,” via Heavy Artillery in 2008. After gaining additional acclaim with their 2011 sophomore effort “Beyond The Fall Of Time,” the group signed a three-album deal with Prosthetic Records in 2013. In support of that acclaimed trilogy of releases (2014’s “Slave To The Sword,” 2016’s “Ride Forth” and 2018’s “The Sound Of Steel”), the band toured alongside some of metal’s biggest names, earning extensive praise along the way for their live power, prowess and proficiency.

Their follow up album, Another Day In Hell, marks the band‘s most mature and emotional record to date, delving deep into a personal catharsis while the four- piece broadens its sound to further sonic templates.

Finally available on Vinyl and all Digital platforms, Another Day In Hell will be out on October 1, 2021 through Argonauta Records. Get a glimpse and watch the official video for the heavy yet catchy as hell album title here:

GOST Releases New Song + Video “Burning Thyme”

Before releasing the new album “Rites of Love and Reverence” on August 13th GOST is showing a very different side with the new track and video “Burning Thyme”.

GOST comments: “I experimented a lot with instrumentation for ‘Rites of Love and Reverence’.  Writing a song featuring an acoustic guitar and cello was honestly the furthest thing from my mind for this record.  “Burning Thyme”, refers again to the past and was a term used for announcing the burning of witches.  “Invoke the spirit that’s been hiding deep within.”

Click here for some selected presale links: https://gost.lnk.to/RitesOfLoveAndReverencePR

“Rites of Love and Reverence” is both an album of beautifully crafted songs and a fascinating and intuitively gothic journey, rich with thoughts of supernatural wickedness and real world retribution.

“The lyrics were inspired by witchcraft themes,” says the man himself. “It’s mainly about how witchcraft has affected women throughout history. Witch trials and the subsequent executions throughout the ages terrify me. I fear, as a society, we are always on the verge of such horrible psychosis based on the misunderstanding and intolerance of one another. I try to educate myself on any historical subject I use as an influence, out of respect for the real people who actually lived through it.”

In keeping with its dark theme, “Rites of Love and Reverence” arrives adorned with the most stunning image GOST has used to date, created by celebrated doyen of macabre art, Nona Limmen. Both eerily psychedelic and hazily mysterious, it’s the perfect visual representation of this extraordinary record’s grim but vivid depths.

The perfect soundtrack to these uncertain and frequently horrifying times, “Rites of Love and Reverence” renders GOST’s post-synthwave exploits in kaleidoscopic technicolor, delivering all the glass-shattering grit, incisive melodic melancholy and tripped-out, electronic fervour that his ever-expanding army of admirers demand.

In the past GOST has become renowned as a potent and idiosyncratic live act. Over the last few years he has shared stages with Perturbator, 3TEETH, Mayhem, Carpenter Brut, Power Trip, The Black Dahlia Murder, Midnight, Pig Destroyer and many more, while several headline tours of North America and Europe have further consolidated that already robust reputation.

GOST previously released the following tracks and videos:
“Coven”: https://youtu.be/zT6m54oeCes
“A Fleeting Whisper”: https://youtu.be/tasuompk6_Q
“’Bound by the Horror”: https://youtu.be/SauDzMPIzC0

WARKINGS Warriors beware! The mighty kings return to the battlefield, armed with glorious weapons made of pure Heavy Metal – the time for Revolution has come!

The mighty Tribune raises his voice to tell the story of “Spartacus”, the legendary Gladiator who led the major slave uprising against the Roman Empire. Joined by none other than The Lost Lord (a.k.a. Chris Harms) the WARKINGS forged their weapons and call for Revolution with yet another uptempo banger that will be stuck in the heads of all warriors forever

The Tribune on “Spartacus”:
“Some call him hero, some call him a rebel…and we tell his story. With the help of the mighty Lost Lord. Die for Spartacus.”

Chris Harms a.k.a The Lost Lord adds:
“There are moments when I realize that there is a power metal passion slumbering in me that never wanted to fit into any of my bands and projects. I was very grateful when the four gladiators of heavy metal came to me and gave me the chance to refine one of their songs as The Lost Lord. “Spartacus” is a monumental uptempo power machine that I enjoyed immensely. I look forward to performing the song live at some point – with sandals and a helmet, of course!”

Watch the new video for “Spartacus” HERE:

The third part of the WARKINGS saga will be unleashed on August 20 via Napalm Records, so sharpen your weapons and join the WARKINGS Revolution!
