DECAPITATED Announce 25 Year Anniversary EU/UK Tour Dates For 2022

Having recently released their critically acclaimed early demos collection The First Damned, DECAPITATED are proud to announce that 2022 will mark their return to Europe-wide touring. The 33-date trek, launched in celebration of their 25th anniversary, will see the masterly death metallers hit stages across 11 different countries. Special guests on the run will be Black Tongue, Heart Of A Coward and Inferi.

Decapitated’s Vogg commented,
“25 years in the band… Wow, I would have never ever guessed it would survive that long. But time flies and we are still here as strong as ever, with the new album almost there and an amazing line-up, ready to get out on the road again. This is just the beginning! Japanese GODS OF DECAY Join Sliptrick, New Album Coming

Japanese Post-Grunge Group GODS OF DECAY have signed a deal with Sliptrick Records.

Gods Of Decay was formed in Tokyo in 2018 by Japanese guitarist Frost and Georgian vocalist Anna. Their music lies at an intersection of genres and styles such as post-grunge, alternative and gothic metal, the fusion of which gave birth to a dark, “meaty” and yet beautiful sound.

The band pride themselves with a strong adherence to melody, intricately interwoven with heavy and angry guitar riffs – a feature that makes them stand out. Anna’s fascination with modern literature has a strong impact on the lyrics she writes. The major themes in her lyrics are introspective, dreams, vanishing boundaries between the real and the imaginary, madness and social criticism. Her musical influences range from the mellow (The Cure) to the brutal (Necrophagist). She enjoys experimenting with styles and aims for “theatricality” in her singing manner. She has received opera vocal training in the past, but enjoys experimenting with extreme vocals.

The mastermind behind Gods Of Decay‘s compositions, Frost, names among his favourite artists and major influences such bands as Creed, Pearl Jam and Nirvana. By implementing beautiful melodies into heavy distortion “shell”, his compositions are powerful, yet at the same melodious. “Beauty in strength” can nicely describe the sound that he aims for.

Yorke, on bass and programming, has joined the group recently but has immediately brought new colors to the band’s musical palette and yet more layers into compositions by balancing out the aggression of Frost’s guitar with his mellifluous and sensual basslines. His influences include such bands as Nine Inch Nails, Apex Twin and Portis Head.

Gods Of Decay are currently preparing to release their first full-length album Collective Psychosis, which is planned to be preceded by the release of a single and a music video titled Suffocate You.

Dario Beretta Announces Charity Project “Darian and Friends”

Dario Beretta, guitarist of Drakkar and Crimson Dawn, has announced the creation of a new charity project called “Darian and Friends”.

A full-length album is currently being recorded for a release in 2022. All proceedings will go to research against leukemia and related diseases.

As the name of the project implies, Dario will be joined by a great international cast of artists who will put their mark on the release, hailing from bands like Sorcerer, Sinner, Sunstorm, Doomocracy, Memory Garden, Witchwood, A Sound of Thunder, and many others.

The album will be produced and engineered by Mattia Stancioiu (Elnor Studio) and will feature a mixture of ‘70s hard rock and traditional heavy metal.

More details will be disclosed in the next few months.

JACK RUSSELL’S GREAT WHITE Return To Roots On New Studio Recordings Of LED ZEPPELIN Songs

The year was 1998 when hard rock icons GREAT WHITE released Great Zeppelin: A Tribute To Led Zeppelin, an electrifying live album that found GW frontman Jack Russell stepping into the vocal shoes of Zeppelin singer Robert Plant for a phenomenal full-length celebration of that British band’s long lasting influence on Russell & company. The album quickly became a fan favorite and proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that Russell possessed one of the most powerful voices in rock music.

Since that time, over 20 years later, fans have been clamoring for a follow-up and now JACK RUSSELL’S GREAT WHITE is ready to deliver! Great Zeppelin II: A Tribute To Led Zeppelin is the long-awaited sequel that rocks even harder than its predecessor and includes all-new covers of “Kashmir,” “Houses Of The Holy,” “Misty Mountain Hop” and more! Russell, of course, remains in top form and he’s ably backed by stellar guitarists Robby Lachner & Michael Olivieri along with bassist Dan McNay & drummer Dicki Fliszar. PREY FOR SUNDAY Release New Single + Official Music Video ‘Broken Hearted Man’

Hard Rock/ Metal band PREY FOR SUNDAY released their new single “Broken Hearted Man” to all digital platforms! The single is off of their self-titled EP that is now available!

“The Song Broken Hearted Man is a true story based on the life of my brother Justin Persico. He’s my younger brother, so that was fun, but anyone who has brothers know what I mean. Let’s just say it can go both ways quick. The story follows us as we were teens growing up in Seneca IL. It’s a coming of age kinda tale I guess” says Tony Persico, the band’s vocalist.

He adds, “Most times were good, but when drugs and drinking started happening on the reg it also simultaneously started us down a wrong path and at times the video depicts what that was like too see your younger brother who you love, slip into that hard place; a hard place that’s also very difficult too be delivered from. This was a hard story to tell, a familiar story that I’m sure people have probably went threw themselves. As time goes on and a ton of arguments and fights later – as he’s being pulled through the wall its a reminder too us all that your prayers will breakthrough.”

Prey for Sunday is a Hard Rock/ Metal band that was formed in Los Angeles, California in 2018. Founded by Guitarist/Songwriter Neal Grusky, and Lead Singer/Songwriter Tony Persico.

Neal and Tony worked with Producer/Songwriter Peter Strzelecki to write and record the first Prey For Sunday album. Realizing the immediate chemistry they shared a vision; a need to create a unique, memorable sound that would go on to become Prey for Sunday – Music that’s made to stand the test of time. The sixty cycle hum of tube amplifiers meets hard driving rhythms and bombastic beats while bluesy, swirling dual male and female lead vocals guide the listener through a rawkus off road journey of down and dirty rock and roll! Connecticut’s BUZZARD CANYON have announced their worldwide signing with Italy’s powerhouse label Argonauta Records for the release of the band’s sophomore album, entitled Drunken Tales Of An Underachiever…The Saga Continues.

“It took us a while to start and finish this record, and at the end.. we weren’t sure it would see the light of day,“ says vocalist/guitarist Aaron Lewis. “But, with great thanks to Gero and Argonauta Records, Drunken Tales of an Underachiever will hit the shelves! We are honored to be on the label and ready to rock!“

BUZZARD CANYON began their journey as a band in 2013. The inspiration was simple: “To play some in your face rock n’ roll and most of all, have fun while doing it!” The term “Camaro Rock” was quickly adopted and sums up their style just perfectly: Picture yourself with a jean jacket, mullet, driving an early 80’s Camaro, pumping your fist as you roar down a desert road with the radio at full volume.
