The musical releases for the Italian quartet resume, after the forced stop due to Covid.
CELEB CAR CRASH have released “Life in a Wes Anderson’s Movie”, a new single mixed by Riccardo “Paso” Pasini at Studio73 and mastered at La Maestà by Giovanni Versari (Muse, Afterhours …)
The video, as well as the themes of the song are a tribute to the famous director WES ANDERSON (Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaum…). The world represented by Anderson is not the mirror of reality, but rather a fairytale transfiguration of it, in which the characters live in a closed and self-referential environment. These plausible but unlikely stories lead the viewer to grasp the ironic detachment from reality, and push him to identify with the characters.

Directed by Erika Errante, in addition to her characteristic style, who has added a Caravaggesque touch to this work, color-graded by Pierfrancesco del Seppia,, the videoclip starring the extraordinary musical actress Sara Spagna.

THE MIGHTY ONE from Canada are well-known for always having a fan surprise up their sleeves – following the latest announcement of a streaming concert and two elaborate videos for their latest singles, the band now announces the release of Burden from their current album Torch Of Rock And Roll.
After putting out a classical lyric video (Coming On) and some epic Animé-inspired eye-candy (Torch Of Rock And Roll), the clip for the new single Burden showcases the band’s intense performance of a highly emotional song. Written over 20 years ago by frontman Tim Steinruck, guitarist Scott Enns and their close friend and drummer Jeff Worobec, the track only saw the light of day with the album release of Torch Of Rock and Roll earlier in 2020, after Worobec tragically passed away from cancer in 2016. So it only makes sense for Enns to make a cameo appearance throughout the clip as well.
In a haunting, yet beautiful way, Burden explores the pain of holding on to feelings and situations that keep us imprisoned, and the freedom that comes from releasing them to a power greater than ourselves. The spiritual, moving track has quickly become a fan-favorite off of Torch Of Rock And Roll. Find out why and check out the music video here:
Torch Of Rock And Roll is now out via CMM/SAOL and can be ordered HERE.

Ukrainian Progressive MAJESTY OF REVIVAL have just released a new single #FOOL featuring Kärtsy Hatakka from the legendary Finnish band WALTARI!
Check out the lyric video below:
The band says: “We’re really proud of this collaboration! Kärtsy’s approach and creativity is always inspiring, and Waltari has a huge influence on us, so it was an honor to work with him on this track!“
The band bassist Vitalii Popfalushi commenting the song: “Christians, racists, capitalists, beggars… everyone defends something. But what will happen when the most valuable things are taken away from you? This song describes only one way of “dealing” with the greedy. It doesn’t matter what they take from you, if they ask to become your foes – let them know who you are. Defend your own and never turn into a fool who will sell his best idea for the benefit of others”
The band leader Dimitriy Pavlovskiy adds: “During the years MOR explored different types of music genres. But the new album will be our most versatile record! We reached the point where we left any limits or stylistic frames behind, focusing only on music and the message we want to share. It covers different lyric themes. Despite that, the new record sounds very gathered and catchy. And this song is proof of it!”
The new single “Fool” taken from the upcoming Majesty Of Revival’s fifth album, to be released later this year. The album name to be announced soon!

London based metallers JASON PAYNE & THE BLACK LEATHER RIDERS will release their debut EP ‘The Abyss’ on July 16th. Today the band has unleashed their new single for ‘The Purge‘, available now on all streaming platforms.
Jason Payne on ‘The Purge’: “Very proud and excited to release our new single “The Purge”. It’s a song that talks about feeling stuck in your own prison and then you fight your own demons and you set yourself free from the pain. It was inspired by a personal chapter in my life and with the ideology of cleansing yourself from the sins and mistakes you did in the past. It’s about forgiving yourself and move on. A powerful, upbeat, riff-driven, sing-along new single in support of my upcoming EP, with a music video shot in the legendary Camden Town venue ‘The Underworld’ to accompany.”
Jason Payne on ‘The Abyss’ EP and coverart: “Writing this EP was a sensational experience for me. Lyrics are very personal and me and the guys put our hearts and soul in making this. It’s the most powerful, boldest and heaviest work we’ve ever done so far. I believe this sets new standards for our future works and I couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved by creating such a unique work of art. We named it the Abyss due to the dark period of time we’ve been going through, due to the pandemic. However, by diving into an abyss, for us, it doesn’t necessarily mean to hit the ground and die, but to be reborn. If we learn something from life is that every time we have to face a hard path, we have to find a way of overcoming those obstacles. These tracks are full of rage, insanity and introspective moods. Fall into the glooms of darkness with us. Launch date: 16th July 2021.”
‘The Abyss’ EP Tracklist:
The Dark (feat. Daisy Pepper)
Breathing Rage (feat. Andy Martongelli)
The Purge
Vicious
Lost
Thoughtless
Earlier Jason revealed of their upcoming 6-tracks EP “The Abyss”: “The Dark is a song that sums up the theme of this EP, “The Abyss”. It’s about death, obscurity and the “nothing”. It talks of things like trying to reach to the void, feeling confused and betrayed, and about a person that’s losing his essence. Without a consciousness, and with no purpose in our lives, we’re just a bunch of roamers taking a road to the abyss, and that leads us to the dark and lashes us to insignificant beings floating in “the nothing”. When I was writing this EP, I got affected by the outside world. It’s a dark period that we’re living. I caught the essence and the feelings that this time put me through and made a whole EP about existentialism and nihilism. This period made me question who am I, what’s my purpose, what have I done with my life and what if this all ends now? Would it matter? Do we matter? Does life matters? Of course, it does! In my opinion, there’s no point of doing anything or living if this doesn’t matter. However, when I wrote this EP, I don’t give you the bright side of the story. That’s for the fans to find out. My whole point with this work is to make people question their lives and feel these emotions. This record means so much to me, since it’s about everything I felt and still feel. I’m a person who never stops asking questions. I always want to know more. Specially, when it comes to existentialism, I’m always in internal conflict, since I question everything. This is my message, this is my music and it’s about how I feel, and hopefully, people will relate to it.”
May 20th, the band performed live their new single ‘The Dark’ at Under The Bridge (Chelsea Football Stadium). The band has posted the official live video on their YouTube channel, in case you missed it, watch it here: https://youtu.be/MFeUOF3uCTE
