SUBWAY TO SALLY have released the second video from their new live Blu-Ray, Eisheilige Nacht – Back To Lindenpark. This special, intimate version of the fan-favorite “Kleid aus Rosen” (EN: Dress of Roses) offers an absolute world premiere: Ally Storch, as well as Saskia and Birgit from Schandmaul, intonate the legendary three-part polyphony at the beginning of the song for the first time ever live.

This version of “Kleid aus Rosen” stands for what Eisheilige Nacht – Back To Lindenpark is all about: an intimate setting, special guests and unique production.

Bodenski on “Kleid aus Rosen”:
“There are lyrics that you write in one ride. I can still remember exactly how I put this story on paper. In my mind’s eye I saw a balladeer standing in the marketplace with a display board and telling his audience this gruesome story, perhaps as a lesson and warning for young girls.

I actually believed at the time that the lyrics would not be suitable for SUBWAY TO SALLY. I was so wrong. When I heard Ingo’s brilliant composition to this text, I was thrilled. It is rightly one of our most popular songs. Everything about this song is just right. In the studio, Sigrid Hausen, better known as Syrah, helped us to sing the three-part intro. Until the Eisheilige Nacht Online, this intro was always recorded. It was a special experience for us to hear it live for the first time!”

Chart-breaking German folk rock institution SUBWAY TO SALLY demonstrate their exceptional live presence once more, carving a unique stage experience in stone with the upcoming release, Eisheilige Nacht – Back to Lindenpark, out on BluRay/DVD/CD on June 18, 2021 via Napalm Records.

Eisheilige Nacht – Back To Lindenpark will be available as a deluxe bundle (incl. deluxe fan gym bag, mediabook, pendant, lanyard, pass – limited to 300 copies), LP Gatefold Black, BD/DVD/2-CD mediabook and digital album formats, and serves as harbinger for all those great live performances that are about to come!

SUBWAY TO SALLY on Eisheilige Nacht – Back to Lindenpark:
“After 11 years of our “EISHEILIGE NACHT-tradition”, we definitely did not want that 2020 will be seen as a red “X” in the history of our festival series. So we thought about how we could provide our fans with the EISHEILIGE NACHT feeling at their homes, when we weren’t allowed to tour ourselves. An online concert wasn’t enough for us: EISHEILIGE NACHT is not only about meeting friends, but also being a highlight of the year – with several befriended bands performing live on stage.

We wanted to implement all of this in one experience. We wanted to record this very special event where the EISHEILIGE NACHT originally began. Instead of playing a concert in an empty hall, we used the size of the hall, lined up in a circle and placed our guest musicians into our midst. This created new insights that have never been seen before in any SUBWAY TO SALLY concert film! We are very pleased that we can now, as requested by countless fans, record this event for eternity as a special concert film! “

In 2020, SUBWAY TO SALLY returned to Lindenpark and – supported by many great artists like Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost), Feuerschwanz, Schandmaul, Saltatio Mortis, MajorVoice and Patty Gurdy – created an extraordinary lockdown live experience. In an intimate setting, the recording starts with “Messias” and “Königin der Käfer” from the band’s latest chart-breaking full-length, Hey! (DE #5).

SUBWAY TO SALLY then continue to not only travel through their own discography with songs like eerie “Unsterblich”, animated “Tanz auf dem Vulkan” and live-sensation “Grausame Schwester”, but also present a bunch of enchanting features as well: Don’t miss when highly talented Birgit Muggenthaler-Schmack and Saskia Maria Forkert (Schandmaul) join SUBWAY TO SALLY for Schandmaul’s “Dein Anblick” and a premier version of “Kleid aus Rosen”, or when the band sets the exceptional stage on fire for an explosive performance with Saltatio Mortis on their hit “Sie Tanzt allein” – just to name a selection.

LORD OF THE LOST Release Second Single And Video ‘For They Know Not What They Do’

German genrefluid visionaries LORD OF THE LOST have released a second cinematic and visually stunning video for their second single, “For They Know Not What They Do”. The new music video picks up where the first video for “Priest” (more than 400,000 views to date) leaves off. Together, the two videos form the start of a grand narrative of black and white, good and evil, and loud and quiet. These two pre-released singles are the first and second songs on the track list of the new double album JUDAS, and form the oeuvre to a “Magnum Opus” (La Heavy Magazine).

“For They Know Not What They Do”, the second single from JUDAS proves that this new piece of art is musically and organically grown and has very lively highlights – including a choir, grand piano and string quintet – as well as a real church organ.

Chris Harms on the new video:
“With ‘For They Know Not What They Do’, the audiovisual experience of ‘Priest’ is not only continued, but in a certain way, a cycle opens here which connects the two videos in their beginnings and endings. In addition, we have fulfilled a childhood dream here, because what musician would not like to be seen once as a ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ choir in the best QUEEN manner in his video…”

The Hamburg-based band’s first music video for “Priest” has already reached over 400,000 views on YouTube within a short period of time. Re-Watch the video here.

German genrefluid visionaries LORD OF THE LOST prove that they have matured both musically and lyrically, and return with their seventh studio album, JUDAS, out July 2, 2021 via Napalm Records.

Along with highly sophisticated official videos, the first two singles draw the listener into a conflict that has lasted for thousands of centuries and is as old as mankind itself: The conflict between good and evil. On JUDAS, LORD OF THE LOST tell of this conflict from the perception of the character of Judas Iscariot, known as highly diverse, and the so-called Gospel of Judas, a paper that’s said to consist of conversations between Jesus Christ and Judas Iscariot and casts a different light on religious history as it’s told in the Bible’s New Testament.

LORD OF THE LOST on JUDAS:
“Don’t judge a book by its cover. This sentence could hardly apply any better to someone in theological history than to the figure of Judas Iscariot, who represents only one thing at first glance: Betrayal. If you take a closer look, almost endless possibilities of interpretation open up here: from “Judas the murderer” to “Judas the redeemer” and “Judas the actual martyr”, who, if you believe in it, could only find room in hell for his salvific betrayal after dying for what he did, in complete contrast to Jesus Christ. This field of tension and the apocryphal writings of the “Gospel of Judas” are the basis for a double album that not only illuminates the dark and light side of history, but above all the grey areas in between, in which we move emotionally and ideologically throughout our lives and try to find our place.”

Pre-Order JUDAS TODAY!

JUDAS sets off with atmospheric “Priest”, followed by “For They Know Not What They Do”, making clear right from the beginning that all the songs can be experienced the most organic and vivid way: A genuine, unique choir accompanies singer Chris Harms, whose multi-dimensional voice delivers the haunting lyrics straight into the listener’s mind more strongly than ever. Songs like “Your Star Has Led You Astray” or “Born With a Broken Heart” easily manage to keep the balance between harsh vocals, the distorted sound of fuzz guitars and an overall dark atmosphere that LORD OF THE LOST is known for, whilst “Death Is Just a Kiss Away”, “My Constellation” and closing “Work of Salvation”, for example, put grand piano tunes, authentic strings and the sound of a massive organ recorded in a church in the most suitable focus.

JUDAS marks the successor of chart-breaking Thornstar (2018, #6 GER), and again breathes the innovative spirit of five musicians who are far away from setting boundaries into their very own unique art. LORD OF THE LOST has never been that type of creative force that’s pinned to any specific genre and has succeeded in surprising fans and critics with their nonconformism repeatedly over the years. With their new album, JUDAS, LORD OF THE LOST manage to thematically blur the lines between good and evil and put the so called “salvific treason” into a harmonious soundscape unlike ever heard before – truly an magnum opus!

Former Delain singer and songwriter CHARLOTTE WESSELS will release her first solo endeavor, Tales From Six Feet Under, on September 17, 2021 via Napalm Records. Unable to perform live due to the pandemic, Wessels spent most of last year buried in her Six Feet Under home studio, writing, performing and producing an eclectic wealth of songs. Tales From Six Feet Under offers her favorites out of the bunch. All instruments and vocals on these ten intimate and honest songs were performed or programmed by Wessels herself – except for the exciting collaboration with Alissa White-Gluz on the haunting track “Lizzie” – showcasing the multifaceted nature of Wessels, including her exceptional ability to express the most sincere feelings and emotions within her art.

CHARLOTTE WESSELS states:
“In May 2020, I started releasing a song every month on Patreon as an outlet for my surplus of music, and tracks I wrote that didn’t fit my band. The year that followed was an absolute roller coaster, from living through a global pandemic to closing a chapter so dear to me. It shows through these songs, made right here in my Six Feet Under home studio. Producing these songs with the support of a wonderful community has been a lifesaver during such turbulent times, and I’m happy to bring them out of the basement and into the world with this release. Let me tell you the Tales From Six Feet Under.”

Get your copy of Tales From Six Feet Under NOW

Tales From Six Feet Under is an electrifying collection with gems ranging from melancholic indie pop to synth-infused rock. The record features Wessels’ rendition of Goth classic “Cry Little Sister”, as well as a beautiful synergy of the stunning voices of CHARLOTTE WESSELS and  Alissa White-Gluz on “Lizzie”. It also debuts a song in Wessels’ native language with the Dutch rocker “Afkicken”. The mesmerizing and haunting “Victor” was released in April this year along with a visually palpable music video. “Soft Revolution” showcases the artist right where the magic happens; in her Six Feet Under studio. The song – part sweet sorrow, part soaring call to action, is quickly becoming a fan favourite.

Enjoy the official video for “Soft Revolution” HERE:

CHARLOTTE WESSELS on “Soft Revolution”:
“‘Soft Revolution’ was such a cathartic song to write, and it means so much to me to learn how it resonates with people. Working on the song, I hoped it would become a piece of music that made listeners less alone in their feelings, but I never expected it would end up doing that for me as well.”

LIV SIN Sign to Mighty Music, New Album Coming in 2022

Mighty Music is proud to announce the signing of Swedish metallers LIV SIN. The band led by ex-Sister Sin vocalist Liv Jagrell is working hard on their next studio album – their third – which is expected to be released in 2022.

“We are very happy to join Mighty Music / Target Group“, Liv Sin comments. “In them we feel that we found a really good partner and support. We hope that this can help us grow as an international band. Right now we are working on our third album and preparing to get back out on tours as soon as that’s possible again.”

Liv Sin is a metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, founded in 2016 by Liv Jagrell.

She formed the band after her previous band, Sister Sin, decided to call it quits in 2015, after 13 years of touring Europe and US, supporting bands like Slayer, King Diamond, Motörhead, Doro, Arch Enemy, In This Moment,  W.A.S.P. and U.D.O.

Liv took all her charismatic energy from Sister Sin and transferred it into Liv Sin to create a band that sounded more metal and heavier than before. The sound of Liv Sin has been described to be in the vein of Judas Priest with a twist of Arch Enemy, the Gothenburg sound, and the modern American metal sound from bands such as Five Finger Death Punch. “Metal with attitude”.

The debut album ”Follow Me”, 2017 was produced by Stefan Kaufmann (ex. U.D.O. & ex. Accept) and Fitty Wienhold (ex. U.D.O.). Album number two, ”Burning Sermons”, released in 2019, was produced by Emil Nödtveidt (Deathstars). The music went into a new chapter with a sound that dived even deeper into darker riffs, melodic choruses and bigger music arrangements.

Last show before the pandemic were in Tokyo, Japan. In the wake of the pandemic, the band started to work on their third album, which strives to take the band even further forward musically and opens up for touring as soon as the pandemic is over!

Norwegian Extreme metal act ILLT unchain their ferocious new single “Millennial Judas” today! If you’re ready for a 7-minute sonic savagery, turn up the volume and listen to it here: https://orcd.co/millennialjudas

“Millennial Judas” is the fourth single off their upcoming debut album “Urhat”, to be released this Fall via Indie Recordings!

ILLT is the alter ego of Norwegian composer and guitarist Roy Westad. It’s an uncompromising sandbox and a culmination of decades of passion and love for extreme metal as an art form. His debut album features session musicians from Megadeth, Soilwork, Chrome Division and Nile. The album was mixed by Kurt Ballou @ Godcity and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Alan Douches.

ILLT has commented: «Millennial Judas is a segmented and nightmarish bird’s-eye view of where we all came from, who we are, and where I fear humanity is headed. It deals with everything from religious fanaticism, ignorance, corrupt leaders, our self-destructive nature, and technology as a loaded gun in the hands of a toddler. It’s angry, bitter, desperate and sad. If you’re looking for a glimmer of hope in these dark times, you won’t find it here. However, if you’re in need of a 7-minute relentless beating in riff-form, look no further!”

Vocals: Björn Strid
Guitars & Bass: ILLT
Drums: Dirk Verbeuren
Lead Guitars: Mr.Damage, Karl Sanders (Nile)
Music & Lyrics by ILLT
Mixed by Kurt Ballou
Mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music
