EVILE Release Video For New Single “The Thing (1982)”

This Friday, April 30, 2021, will see British thrash metal heavy weights EVILE release their brand new studio album, entitled Hell Unleashed, via Napalm Records – the band’s first album in eight long years! Since their formation in 2004, EVILE have been turning heads and taking names, delivering four pure thrash offerings blended with an uncompromising death metal assault. Hell Unleashed, the long-awaited successor to their 2013 release Skull, will make no exception – but this time, the album features a new exciting line-up formation of Ol Drake on vocals/guitars and new member Adam Smith of RipTide as rhythm guitarist.

Today, the band has released a final single before the album drops – the thunderous new track “The Thing (1982)”! Intoxicating guitars build up to an unconditional, heavy storm of thrash metal: “The Thing (1982)” and its razor-sharp arrangement delivers another rousing aspect of EVILE’s new album. Bold cinematic influences merge with breakneck speed riffs and Ol Drake’s brute, unyielding vocals, highlighting EVILE’s potent musical expertise. EVILE vocalist/guitarist Ol Drake comments:

“The 3rd and final single from Hell Unleashed is not only based on my favourite movie of all time but it’s a strong contender for my favourite song off the album. This track goes through so many cool changes, with frenetic vocals which mirror the subject matter, and we couldn’t be prouder of not only this song, but the entire album it’s featured on. Blast “The Thing” as loud as you can!”

Hell Unleashed is a raucous and masterful thrash metal attack! In just 41 minutes, the album unchains the unbridled forces of hell, catches some rousing demons of the past, and provides classical thrash metal with a contemporary yet hard-edged touch. The newly staffed four-piece strikes again on nine explosive tracks, leaving nothing but a hammering world of sound taken apart by thrash. Endangering guitar lines, which quickly build up to a furious thrash manifesto and attack the eardrum at breakneck speed, meet the merciless velocity EVILE are known and loved for.

Hell Unleashed was produced by Chris Clancy at Backstage Studios, UK, and will not only feature explosive guest backing vocals from actor, comedian and musicians Brian Posehn, but also include a cover song:

“This is the first album EVILE have done to include a cover song in the tracklisting. I’ve been a big fan of death metal for a long time, and seeing as this album is on the more extreme side of thrash vocally and musically, we thought it was a perfect opportunity to cover Mortician‘s ‘Zombie Apocalypse’. It has one of the greatest riffs in it!

We’re also very excited about the return of the legendary Michael Whelan (Sepultura, Obituary, Stephen King) as cover artist. He did the art for our second album and he’s always a pleasure to work with.”

THE CHIMPZ Release New Music Video ‘Corrupt’

Hailing from Los Angeles,CA,  THE CHIMPZ have brought their driving, rock hopping genre sound to the masses. 

THE CHIMPZ are back again and they are celebrating the ten year anniversary of their EP “Who Can I Trust” which was released back in 2011.  Recorded, mixed, arranged, and produced by Ryan Green at Crush Recording.  They celebrate the anniversary with the release of their new video “Corrupt” filmed at Tiger Lab studios anddrone footage by Neal Walter.  

About the song:  The Chimpz are a product of our environment.  We live in a Corrupt society where there are no rules. “Bad Apple cause I’m made that way each and every day. it feels natural to say I’m Corrupt”

DREAMERS CRIME Release New Single + Video “Dreaming”

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, DREAMERS CRIME have been on a crazy ride since they formed. By blending metal and rock sounds they create their own version of hard rock with explosive, anthem tracks. The band released their new single titled “Dreaming” to all digital outlets via The FUEL Music! In addition, they released their official music video.

Dreamers Crime is a four piece outfit ready to leave their own mark on the music stage. Co-founders Peter Repousis (lead vocalist) and Simon Kapsis (guitarist), together with Adam Plimmer (bassist) and Felipe Martelo (drummer), are set to expose their heavy rock and metal sound consisting of crunching riffs, ambient leads and vocal hooks to the rest of the world.

The band wrote and released their first EP What is Real in 2014, which was followed by tours within Australia and time spent writing new material over the next years to come.

Since 2018, resting has not been an option for Dreamers Crime as they completed two South East Asian tours including countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. They have also completed shows around Australia and shared the stage with American rock band Trapt and Portugal’s very own Hybrid Theory.

The band has spent most of the last few years in the studio writing and recording their upcoming album Here We Are. Produced and recorded by Australian award winners Dave Petrovic and Stevie Knight from Electric Sun Studios the band released the single “Silence” in January of 2021 and is following it up with their new single “Dreaming” which is now available.
