UNDER BLACK SKY Celebrate Release of New Album “Bad Blood” with Video for ‘Pull Through’

Rising dark rock force Under Black Sky released their highly anticipated full-length album, Bad Blood today, October 24, 2025.

To mark the occasion, the band has unveiled the official music video for “Pull Through” — a raw and cinematic portrayal of resilience, rage, and the unbreakable will to survive no matter what tries to crush you.

Under Black Sky is currently on their fall tour, The Undead Road Show. The run kicked off October 22, 2025, in San Antonio, TX, bringing the band’s hauntingly powerful live performance to fans across the U.S.

UNDER BLACK SKY: THE NARRATIVE

“You are not alone. The sky has cracked. The blood remembers.”

The world was once bright — but the light was a lie.

Centuries ago, a secret Order vanished beneath the surface of history, burying knowledge too dangerous for the world above. This Order — now known only in whispers as The Order

Beneath — kept one truth sealed: that some voices are not born, but summoned… when the world turns on itself.

Now, the sky has cracked. From the fracture, sound bleeds through. Not music — a signal. A call.

Four souls answered.

They were not chosen. They were claimed.

Marked by pain. Branded by betrayal. Broken by a system that promised dreams and delivered chains. But from the ruins of their pasts, each one emerged transformed — avatars of chaos and clarity, shadow and scream. Not men. Not monsters. Something in between.

They are known only by their roles:

  • KRYSIS – The Prophet — voice of the unspeakable. (Vocals)
  • BEAST – The Executioner — fury without apology. (Drums)
  • ONYX – The Seer — eyes that pierce the veil. (Guitar)
  • JAXX – The Redeemer — bearer of the final key. (Bass Guitar)

Together, they are Under Black Sky — not a band, but a reckoning.

Their debut transmission, Bad Blood, is more than an album. It is the first chapter of an awakening. Each track unlocks another sigil in the codex. Another fragment of the truth long buried. As their presence spreads, so too does the influence of the Order Beneath. Those who hear the message begin to change. Reality glitches. Symbols surface in dreams. Crimson keys appear. Shattered glass reveals hidden figures. A storm begins to churn within them — not of fear, but of defiance.

And then they know: They are not alone. The purge has begun. And Under Black Sky is leading the charge.

UNDER BLACK SKY is a modern active rock band hailing from New Orleans, LA, formed in 2023. The band consists of four enigmatic members – Krysis, Beast, Jaxx, and Onyx – Known for their wildly entertaining live shows, UNDER BLACK SKY delivers performances that are nothing short of mesmerizing. Each song in their repertoire is a meticulously crafted masterpiece, featuring hauntingly unforgettable choruses that linger in the mind, mesmerizing riffs that captivate the senses, and a potent shot of adrenaline coursing through their sonic landscape. UBS is not just a band; it’s a manifestation of resilience, creativity, and a profound desire to entertain and to connect with audiences on a visceral level. When attending one of their shows, be prepared to get engulfed in an immersive and electrifying experience sure to leave a long lasting impression.

SECRET RULE Celebrate Release of New “X” Album with Music Video for ‘Collapse’

Marking the final step before the release of their new album “X“, out the same day via Rockshots Records, Secret Rule return with “Collapse”, a high-energy, hard-hitting modern metal anthem that blends unstoppable grooves with a sharp message about a world on the brink.

Driven by Angela Di Vincenzo’s fierce vocal performance and Andy Menario’s razor-edged production, “Collapse” captures the tension between chaos and resilience, translating global turmoil into pure musical adrenaline. The track is released together with a striking official video, perfectly reflecting the song’s urgency and visual intensity.

Angela comments:

“It’s the kind of song that gets your body moving while your mind wakes up. The energy is pure fire, but underneath, it’s a wake-up call about the world we’re losing.”

Andy adds:

“With ‘Collapse’ I wanted a sound that could hit hard in a live show — something you feel in your chest. It’s aggressive, melodic and super jumpy… a real crowd-mover.”

Digital single “Collapse” – https://lnk.to/x1YSaG

“Collapse” follows the recent singles “Just a Sacrifice”, “Echoes of the Earth”, “In the Silence”, and “Silent Pain” — each exploring different emotional and existential layers of “X“, an album that celebrates the band’s tenth anniversary with a renewed modern edge and fearless experimentation. The record also features a special collaboration with Marco Pastorino (Temperance) on the track “Lost In Paradise”.

Self-produced by guitarist Andy Menario and frontwoman Angela Di Vincenzo, “X” combines symphonic power, electronic textures and metalcore-inspired breakdowns into a cohesive and vibrant sound that redefines Secret Rule’s identity for a new decade.

For fans of Amaranthe and Within Temptation, “X” is an album that bridges melody and power — and “Collapse” is its explosive warning shot.

ROBERT JON & THE WRECK Tap into Raw Reflection with New Single Video ‘Back To The Beginning Again’

Southern California roots-rockers Robert Jon & The Wreck return with “Back To The Beginning Again,” a powerful stand-alone single recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, self-produced by the band and mixed by engineer Alex Pasco. Anchored by stacked guitars, a swampy groove, and soaring vocals, the song is a textbook southern rocker, subtly infused with shades of ’90s grunge and alternative influences.

STREAM “Back To The Beginning Again.” Watch the official music video below.

“‘Back To The Beginning Again’ was written while on tour sometime last year,” shares guitarist Henry James. “The song reflects on deeper feelings of disillusionment and depression that happen while on tour and working in the music industry as a whole.” Built around a sludgy, bluesy riff and a howling Hammond organ solo by keyboardist Jake Abernathie, the track captures both the band’s introspective side and their trademark swagger.

As Henry explains, “As we get more invested in the business, politics, and hustle of this life, it can become difficult to feel connected to the initial pureness and excitement of playing music that made us fall in love with it as children and teenagers.” Lyrically, the song yearns to return to that simplicity – “a desire to go back to those feelings of excitement and freshness from the early years of performing in bands.” The result is an emotionally charged reflection on mental health, purpose, and rediscovering the spark that first inspired their love of music.

“Back To The Beginning Again” follows the band’s acclaimed studio album Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes, out now via Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records. Order it here.

Produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb and mixed by Greg Gordon (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson), the album captures the group’s raw live energy across ten tracks, earning praise for its blend of “soulful storytelling and sheer rock-and-roll firepower.” – Classic Rock Magazine

Since forming in 2011, Robert Jon & The Wreck – Robert Jon Burrison (vocals, guitar), Henry James (lead guitar, vocals), Andrew Espantman (drums, vocals), Warren Murrel (bass), and Jake Abernathie (keys) – have built a devoted global following through relentless touring and an unshakable live chemistry that bridges Southern rock tradition with California soul.

Fresh off a European summer tour and a series of U.S. festival appearances, the band will join Samantha Fish for a West Coast run this November before launching their Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes U.S. Tour in early 2025, with stops across the Southeast, Midwest, and Plains. BLIND GUARDIAN Aiming to Release New Album in early 2027

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 25, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: BLIND GUARDIAN, Hansi Kürsch, The Metal Voice. Leave a comment

Canada’s The Metal Voice recently spoke to Blind Guardian singer Hansi Kürsch about the bands upcoming tour and new music.

Watch the interview below.

Legendary German power metal band BLIND GUARDIAN has announced its long-awaited return to North America with a headlining tour set for fall 2025. The band will perform across the United States and Canada, bringing their celebrated album “Somewhere Far Beyond”  to life on stage. The band decided to re-record Somewhere Far Beyond while preparing for its tour.

The tour will kick off on November 19 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will make stops in major markets, including New York, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and more, before concluding on December 13 in Los Angeles, CA, at The Wiltern.

After their North American “Somewhere Far Beyond” concept tour (late 2025), Blind Guardian plans to take a break to focus on songwriting and family life. Hansi told THE METAL VOICE we will spend 2026 composing and aim to release a new album in early 2027, followed by another tour later that year. He continued “The band wants to take their time rather than rush we go for quality. Give us 2026 to compose songs. Give us the beginning of 2027 for maybe finishing the production and releasing the album, and then another tour hopefully at the end of 2027.”

“There won’t be a new album coming out after the tour directly because we have to compose the album. We will take that momentum after North America and do the break, which everyone in the band is desperately looking for. We traveled around the world twice, I think, and it is about time now to really keep our focus on songwriting and on family life. We all want that privacy back for a while, not for too long, but I think give us a year, maybe one and a half, and then you’ll have your new album As said, I believe it’s in the tradition of what Blind Guardian stands for and maybe has a bit of the more melodic, old-fashioned style, but I cannot promise it. It’s just a feeling.”

When asked about the musical direction of their future album. Hansi explained that after the massive orchestral scope of Legacy of the Dark Lands, they felt they had gone “as big as we can go. ”The next record will likely “strip things down” and focus more on classic, melodic, and old-fashioned Blind Guardian style, more direct and energetic, less orchestral. He called The God Machine (2022) a “hybrid” that bridges their early sound with modern production, and said the new album will probably continue that trajectory, more straightforward, but still epic. “”However, he admitted that once the band gets into the studio, the creative direction often evolves naturally: “We don’t have that much control where the journey finally leads us.”

OV SULFUR Drop New Single/Video “Wither” – Band’s First Track Feat. Only Clean Singing

On January 16th, blackened deathcore quintet Ov Sulfur will release their sophomore album, Endless, via Century Media Records. Propelled by the vocalizations of frontman Ricky Hoover, Ov Sulfur pushes the boundaries of their deathcore origins on this upcoming record, simultaneously embracing black metal while exploring a surprising degree of melody that never dilutes their genre-decimating approach. Watch the video for the new single “Wither” below (the group’s first track to feature ONLY clean singing!).

Vocalist Ricky Hoover and guitarist/vocalist Chase Wilson split lead vocals on “Wither” since the song is about the passing of their grandparents, to whom it is dedicated (in addition to bassist Josh Bearden’s late father).

Chase Wilson (Guitar/Vocals) comments: “We know ‘Wither’ is different and that it’s not the norm for bands like us to do a song like this, but we felt we had to honor our families and in doing so created something very special to us in the process.
“I had a lot I wanted to say about my grandparents’ passing, as I was very close to them and had a multitude of different emotions I needed to express. Ricky allowed me the honor of splitting singing duties on this song with him, as we joined each other in grief and mourning.

“My grandfather worked as an MC back in the days of Sinatra, The Rat Pack and artists like that. It was always his dream to make it in show business and be on a record some day. It’s bittersweet we were able to make it happen for him after his passing (he’s the voice clip at the end of the song). I wish he was around to hear it.”

Ricky Hoover (Vocals) comments: “My grandmother was the glue that held my family together.

“She was the strongest person I’ve ever known and had the ability to forgive those who wronged her, a quality I wish I had. She was truly the best example of what being a good person is.

“She watched my siblings and I almost every day while my parents were at work, so we were always incredibly close.
“I used to call her on my way home from work, fill her in on things and just talk. Now I still find myself calling everyone I know on the drive because of how much I miss the talks we had.
“After she died I had so many nights spent awake alone wishing I could share in the belief I’d see her or hear her voice again: hours desperately trying to give myself the false hope I would. Eventually, I reached the cold realization that I never would. Some nights I still find myself lost and trying to lose myself in that hope…or delusion.
“The voicemails (of her wishing me a Merry Christmas or that she hopes I have a good show) were something I couldn’t even force myself to listen to until the day I recorded this song. I sent all the ones I had into the studio prior to me going. These were the ones chosen. She always said she wished I sang more in my music, so that’s what I did. I wish she was around to hear it.”

Pre-order Endless in various formats now via: https://ovsulfurband.lnk.to/Endless-Album, and listen to the previously released singles below:

–“Seed”: https://youtu.be/JgZyje1mA1A
–“Evermore”: https://youtu.be/y-OvSF2Bi8g

On their upcoming sophomore album, Ov Sulfur delve deeper into the darkened sonic
landscapes that defined the Las Vegas quintet’s 2023 landmark debut, The Burden Ov Faith.
Catapulted by the return of ex-Suffokate vocalist Ricky Hoover, Ov Sulfur take a more metaphorical approach to the disdain for religion that drove their previous material. What would actually happen if eternal life existed? Eternal doubt, longing, grief, fear and more would drive humans mad. The message comes through loud and clear atop Leviathvn’s pummeling drums, with guitarist/vocalist Chase Wilson’s gravelly singing complementing Hoover; the vocal attack is pushed further live by latest additions bassist Josh Bearden and guitarist Christian Becker, bringing their performance to the next level.

The vocal dynamics and melodic choruses are extended to the max on Endless; songs like the hard rocking “Wither” and ballad “Endless//Loveless” are a logical extension to the band’s realization that Ricky could belt with the best of ’em.

“I was originally only going to sing a soft intro to ‘Earthen’ on our last album,” reveals Hoover. “Once Chase and our vocal producer [for that album] Morgoth heard it, we reworked a bunch of stuff for me to sing more. That’s pushed further here. Chase even taught me to do falsetto in-studio (he actually took a video on his phone where I looked genuinely shocked I hit the notes because it was so new to me).”

Wilson expands on the vocal growth: “There is a lot of vocal interplay between the two of us, hinted at on ‘The Burden Ov Faith‘s ‘The Inglorious Archetype,’ inspired by Alice In Chains‘ Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell. You can hear that on ‘Evermore,’ and we practically split ‘Wither’ down the middle; the song is about us both losing grandparents, so it’s super personal.”

That dynamism is helped along by vocal features from Johnny Ciardullo (Carcosa), Josh Davies (Ingested) and Alan Grnja (Distant), joining Ov Sulfur’s illustrious guest list that includes Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engage, Light the Torch), Alex Terrible (Slaughter to Prevail) and many more.
