Following the release of their highly praised seventh album, Sea Savage, GAMA BOMB have today announced a 17 day run of European tour dates supporting Exhorder alongside Evil Invaders and Chronosphere. The Storms Hide The Ground European Tour will kick off on September 17 and run until October 3, serving as the first set of live dates since Sea Savage‘s December 2020 release. Accompanying the tour announcement, the band have also today released a new music video for Lords Of The Hellfire Club.

WATCH THE MUSIC VIDEO FORLORDS OF THE HELLFIRE CLUB  HERE.

Of the tour announcement, GAMA BOMB vocalist Philly Byrne comments: “The past year really made us miss the road, so it’s exciting to announce a proper European tour and get back into the trenches! This tour will be taking us to some new places and some familiar ones, with bands who we really respect. Our fans can expect a new, bigger GB stage show – and Snowy will be joining us, too!”

On Lords Of The Hellfire Club, Philly adds: “Lords of the Hellfire Club is one of our favourite songs from Sea Savage – it’s punky and to-the-point, and it’s about a real, historical group of alcoholic Irish satan-worshippers. They’re basically the original Gama Bomb, so we had to pay tribute.”

GAMA BOMB‘s new album, Sea Savage, presents itself as a 19th century play, with Act One and Act Two playing out on side A and side B of the record respectively, weaving together fantastical tales of maritime horror. Inspired by the attitude and speed of classic Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Accept rather than simply worshipping at the altar of old-school thrash, Sea Savage sees the Irishmen set sail further into classic metal and hard rock’s waters.

Sea Savage is out now via Prosthetic Records.

GAMA BOMB tour dates:

Saturday September 18 – Turock, Essen, Germany

French doom collective, THE BOTTLE DOOM LAZY BAND, has announced their first live album, which will be released on March 19th, 2021, through Sleeping Church Records!

With their loud ‘n low-tuned, epic yet fierce and slow doom sound, the band burst into the heavy music scene in 2005. Following 3 records and 15 years of countless shows and tours later, and especially in these current dark times of empty venues, THE BOTTLE DOOM LAZY BAND would like to share their memories with this very special collection of gig excerpts to be released as a live album titled “2005 – 2020 Doom Over The Years“. Recorded at several shows over the past 15 years featuring 10 blistering live tracks, the album was ultimately mixed & mastered by Guyome at Cripple Room.

Says the band: “This live effort simply represents the story of a bunch of mates, 15 years of gigging (well, just every now and then, not all the time. Let’s be serious, we’ve got other stuff to do). Gigging, with it’s fair share of stinky sweat, booze and puke spatter, encounters of all kind of thirsty people and nut jobs from all kind of places.”

Tracklist:
1. Blood For The Bloodking
2. The Dead Can’t Lose Again
3. Ridin’ Bones
4. Night Of The Living Dead
5. The Beast Must Die
6. Smiling Tomb
7. Space Crusader
8. Lost n’ Drunk 9. Too Old
10. Into The Necronef (Unplugged)

FEUERSCHWANZ Release Black Metal Version + Video For “Schubsetanz”

German medieval rock masters FEUERSCHWANZ have released a black metal version of their own tremendous hit “Schubsetanz” together with an official video. The song will be available as a strictly limited 7” picture vinyl, out April 22, 2021 via Napalm Records, which also includes a live version of “Kampfzwerg”  (Fighting Dwarf) from the band’s latest chart-breaking studio album, Das Elfte Gebot (GER #3).

FEUERSCHWANZ premiered this diabolic offering for the first time at a recently-celebrated concert live stream, Die Letzte Schlacht. “Schubsetanz (Black Metal Version)” showcases a whole new facet of the six-piece in the most trve and evil way.

FEUERSCHWANZ about the song:
“‘Schubsetanz ist Rittersport’ (Schubsetanz is a sport made for  knights) – for years this song from the album Methämmer is a fan favourite at our concerts! We love the moment when hordes of metal-clad heavy metal warriors unite for the most beautiful of all dance styles, full of grace and violence: The ‘Schubsetanz’! That’s why the song made it onto the setlist of our legendary 11:0:A gig and was celebrated there in a special, corona-compliant way – packed into airtight rubber balls and to the sound of a specially created black metal version, we celebrated the moshpit – 2020 corona style!

However, fans noticed that this unpolished rough diamond in all its raw violence deserved its own version and immediately started an online petition demanding a full-length version.
We, as humble servants of our fans, spared no expense and effort and descended through the nine circles of hell, broke the seventh seal and snatched the tape from the incarnate himself, where those sounds were banned, that should have been hidden.”

Watch the official video for “Schubsetanz (Black Metal Version)” HERE:

FEUERSCHWANZ in corpse paint with blast beats and double bass – what sounds like an incompatible mix turns out to be a perfect symbiosis on “Schubsetanz (Black Metal Version)”. Hauptmann Feuerschwanz and his comrades-in-arms show us their dark and evil side in incomparable FEUERSCHWANZ style on this exquisite cover of their own hit single. As a bonus track, the vinyl’s B-side will feature a live version of “Kampfzwerg”  (Fighting Dwarf), recorded at the live stream event Die Letzte Schlacht. Both tracks will be available digitally as well.

London based Trap Metal artist MIMI BARKS is currently working with full force on her debut album and drops her 4th single “[KILL]BILLY” today.

MIMI BARKS comments:

“[𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋]𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐘 is my merciless revenge towards labeling. I wrote this song because I hate when unique, grassroots artists get compared to carbon copy mainstream artists. With the 4th single from my upcoming album I draw a harsh line between the Industry Plant and the profound world of grinding artists.
The movie KILL BILL has always been a huge inspiration for me. My artwork shows me in the role of Beatrix Kiddo vs. Gogo Yubari aka the industry plant comparisons.”

Make sure to check out her previous singles, too!

MIMI BARKS kicked off her career in Berlin, where she started experimenting with a unique mix of Trap and Metal, adding her trademark ferocious and raspy vocals. After relocating to London in 2019, she finalized her debut-solo EP “Enter the Void” bursting through a male-dominated scene with female force.

CALIBAN To Release “Zeitgeister” Album On May 14th

It took German metalcore vets, CALIBAN recording a cover of Rammstein’s “Sonne” to realize that their native tongue was a seamless fit with their time-tempered collision of punishing riffs and Andreas Dörner’s urgent vocals. With fans hungry for the Essen-borne quintet to record an album exclusively in German, the band simply said: “Why not?” and “Zeitgeister” was born.

11 genre-defining LPs deep into their career, the band’s vision for the album came naturally – a career retrospective and deep-dive into CALIBAN favorites that haven’t had a live airing in some time.

“It wasn’t an easy decision, but once we allowed us to make them as different from the originals as we felt it was needed it came fairly naturally”, explains guitarist and main songwriter Marc Görtz. Of course, some updating was necessary when it came to translating the songs to German. “It turned out to be surprisingly tricky,” says Dörner. “While I feel more at home with my native German it made it a lot more complicated, as I had more options to phrase something.”

Formed in 1997, CALIBAN’s legacy has been a tireless one, touring the globe and sharing stages with the likes of Kreator, Killswitch Engage and Dark Tranquillity just to mention a few “Zeitgeister” was a welcome homecoming. With the help of long-running producer Benjamin Richter (Moonspell, Emil Bulls and more) CALIBAN hand-picked seven tracks to bring new life to:

“Trauma“ (feat. Matthi from Nasty, originally “Arena Of Concealment”)
“Herz” (originally “I Will Never Let You Down”)
“Ausbruch nach Innen“ (originally “Tyranny Of Small Misery”)
“Feuer, zieh’ mit mir“ (originally “Between The Worlds”)
“Nichts ist für immer“ (originally “All I Gave”)
“Intoleranz“ (originally “Intolerance”)
“Mein Inferno” (originally “My Little Secret”)
“Zeitgeister” also boasts a new track, “nICHts”.

Stay tuned for a first taste of “Zeitgeister” which will be released May 14th, via Century Media Records.

OCEANS Announce New EP “We Are Nøt Okay”, Out April 30th

German post metal heroes OCEANS light a beacon of hope and solidarity with the broken and misunderstood: Today, the band from Berln/Vienna announces their new digital-only EP “We Are Nøt Okay” to be released on April, 30th.

Cooperating with The Ocean In Your Mind, A German NPO, OCEANS add a very serious tone to their newest output by turning “music for the depressed” into active help and encouraging fans to join the cause.
The title track “WE ARE NØT OKAY” featuring Andy Dörner from CALIBAN marks the first single of the EP and will be released on February, 26th.

Pre-save the single here: http://nblast.de/OceansWANOpreSave

Singer Timo Rotten states:
“WE ARE NØT OKAY” is supposed to raise awareness for the struggles people face when fighting mental illness. For most of us it is difficult to understand what it feels like to deal with mental illness everyday. Unfortunately a lot of people are driven even more into isolation by this. We hope that we can build bridges with our music and end the stigma of mental health in society. Three of the four songs on the EP deal with different aspects of mental illness and therefore, they are pretty dark. For the last track it was important to us to end it on a lighter note, to raise out of the abyss and back into the light. Because in the end we want to give hope to the people.”

Raphael Funck, Founder of The Ocean In Your Mind e.V. adds:
“We dream of a world, in which people can freely show their vulnerability. We are giving hope a voice and are fighting together against suicide and for mental health.”

More information will be revealed via Nuclear Blast and OCEANS soon.
