Under the blazing Copenhell sun, as the crowd roared and the forest spirits awoke, TROLD unleashed a moment that burned itself into the memory of every witness. “Til Gilde Under Bøgen (Live at Copenhell ’25)” captures that exact spark – a wild celebration where folk melodies met metal fury, and unity reigned beneath the open sky.

This live rendition transforms one of the band’s most beloved anthems into a living ritual: drums pounding like ancient hearts, leads and riffs intertwining like roots beneath the soil, and thousands of voices rising in ecstatic chorus. It’s raw, triumphant, and utterly alive; a reminder that the bond between band and audience is not just heard, but felt.

With this new single, Trold invite you once again to raise your horns, stomp your boots, and join the feast, for the trolls are still dancing, and the forest still sings.

Join the premiering here:

On a sunny afternoon, as the sky glowed over Refshaleøen, thousands of souls gathered for a feast no one will ever forget. At Copenhell 2025, folk metal berserkers Trold stormed the festival’s Hades stage, and with an explosion of fire, confetti, and raw power, the day was transformed into a fairytale of shouts and revelry!

Now the band releases it all under the fitting title “Til Gilde Under Ulven (Live At Copenhell ’25)” – a tribute to the party, the community, and the raw troll magic that made both mortals and otherworldly beings dance in the sunlight.

The press wrote about the concert:

“From the green realm of the forest to Copenhell’s dusty asphalt jungle – TROLD created a folk festival in broad daylight.” – GAFFA

“TROLD delivered a blast of a concert and, with high energy, great visual staging, and strong audience interaction, managed to turn the adventure into a complete and engaging celebration.” – Heavymetal.dk

“It was definitely a party…” – Devilution

TROLD themselves roar from the depths of the forest:
“This afternoon was more than a concert – it was a feast, a roar, a merging of troll, human, and fire. We now share this day with you all – so the Wolf may howl again!”

So polish your boots, tighten your belt, and get ready – for “Til Gilde Under Ulven (Live at Copenhell ’25)” is coming soon, and the party calls once more.

“Til Gilde Under Ulven  (Live At Copenhell ’25)” will be released on digital format on 19.12.2025, via Mighty Music. Limited hand-numbered 180-gram gatefold double fire-colored LPs (only 150 copies!) and digipack CD are available via the band’s own webshop.

OATHBOUND Seek Salvation in New Music Video & Single ‘Searching for An Answer’

Oathbound is a Progressive Metalcore band from Seattle (USA) channeling the raw, unfiltered emotion that defines the human condition while crafting sonic soundscapes that are as emotionally resonant as they are sonically powerful! The band just dropped a new single and post-apocalyptic music video entitled “Searching For An Answer“. The music video was directed by Brandon Hartsock and filmed on location at Oregon Dunes National Park in Reedsport, OR. This is the first single & music video taken from their upcoming full-length album Colors In Grey which will be released on March 6, 2026 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced by Oathbound, and mixed/mastered by Aaron Chaparian (As I Lay Dying, Bleeding Through, Chimaira) at Iron Audio.

“From the very beginning, we knew that Searching for an Answer would be one of the singles on this album and that we wanted to release a story-driven video for it” says guitarist Taylor Harper. “The song resonated with us because everyone experiences moments of hopelessness—and what could feel more hopeless than total isolation in a lifeless desert? The visual style was inspired by the Dune film series and the Fallout franchise, which helped shape the desolate, immersive world we aimed to create.”

This latest full-length from Oathbound, Colors In Grey, is exactly the kind of record the progressive metalcore scene needs right now. It’s a definitive statement that firmly entrenches the band in the upper echelon of the genre. More than a simple collection of songs, this is a rigorous, nine-track emotional excavation. The Seattle outfit has always possessed a gift for channeling raw human experience—confronting themes like trauma, addiction, and heartbreak head-on—but here they successfully forge those dark elements into a work of unexpected, profound catharsis. The sheer sonic ambition is evident from the moment the music hits. Colors In Grey was self-produced, a commitment that highlights the band’s unflinching confidence in their vision. Crucially, that vision was polished by the masterful mixing and mastering of Aaron Chaparian at Iron Audio. We should also note the visual component: Aaron Varshay’s striking artwork perfectly captures the emotional tension and nuance that defines the record’s entire mood. Throughout the project, Oathbound demonstrates a complete command of their craft. They seamlessly merge the punishing intensity of metalcore with powerful, controlled vocals and a technical precision that rivals their most lauded peers. They’ve constructed a focused narrative that ensures every track feels essential, mirroring the crushing lows and necessary highs of the human experience. Colors In Grey is far more than a technical blueprint; it is a forceful, profoundly human document that reminds us why metal, at its best, is the ultimate vehicle for spiritual connection and catharsis. This is the sound of a band operating at an undeniable peak.

The album was produced by Oathbound, and mixed/mastered by Aaron Chaprian (As I Lay Dying, Bleeding Through, Chimaira) at Iron Audio. Artwork for the album and singles was created by Aaron Varshay. Colors In Grey by Oathbound will be released on March 6, 2026 via Eclipse Records.

PONTE DEL DIAVOLO Announce New Album “De Venom Natura”, Out February 13th

Last year, Ponte Del Diavolo made their mark by bridging the gap between several darkened corners of the underground on their fiery debut album. Fire Blades from the Tomb welds doom, black metal and post-punk into a towering, twisted, new wave of dark art that’s as cruel and mesmerizing as their native Italy’s infamous Devil’s Bridge.

“…a bold, engrossing, fully formed debut from a talented new band”, wrote Last Rites.

Today, the Italians are fanning the flames by announcing their new album. De Venom Natura pushes the band’s potent fusion even further behind their distinct, dueling bass guitars. Forged in the fires unearthed by their ritualistic performances, the album offers an intoxicating meditation on nature’s poisonous undercurrent. Charmed by Erba del Diavolo’s bewitching vocals, the lyrics slither and snake around the idea that every life form carries its own toxin that brings both rebirth and decay.

“For this record, we wanted to push the boundaries of our music and further develop certain sounds that were only sketched in our previous works,” Ponte Del Diavolo says. “After two years of live shows, we set out to capture the atmosphere of our performances and put it on record. The core of bass, guitar, and drums was recorded live to recreate that feeling of being at one of our shows.”

De Venom Natura comes out February 13, 2026 on Season of Mist. More details will be announced soon.

Tracklist:

  1. Every Tongue Has Its Thorns (6:25)
  2. Lunga vita alla necrosi (4:01)
  3. Spirit, Blood, Poison, Ferment! (4:36)
  4. Il veleno della Natura (4:58)
  5. Delta-9 (161) (8:52)
  6. Silence Walk With Me (6:17)
  7. In the Flat Field (4:54)
    Full runtime: 40:02

PONTE DEL DIAVOLO craft a focused blend of doom, black metal, post‐punk, and wave—an aesthetic they call “blackened post‐punk.” Wave‐tinged female vocals anchor the project’s flaming core, supported by an uncommon dual‐bass setup that grounds the rhythmic guitars and a raw, dynamic drum pulse.

The result is an immersive, tension‐driven sound. Following the initial release of three EPs, the band signed to Season of Mist and unveiled their first full-length album, Fire Blades from the Tomb.

After two years on the road – appearing at leading European festivals such as Roadburn and Inferno in support of their debut – Ponte del Diavolo return with “De Venom Natura,” a record that extends and refines their musical boundaries.

STRÅLE Share New Single And Lyric Video ‘Close Is Not Enough’

Melodic metal band Stråle are excited to share the new single and official lyric video, “Close Is Not Enough”, taken from their new EP “Reformation”, digitally available now via Frontiers Music Srl.

Daniel Jakobsson commented: “When I was 19, a suicide in my school really shook things up for everybody. Why are we here? What’s the point of life? Those questions became reality, and I remember one night, driving a car with my brand new driver’s license, filled with freedom and the future ahead. But all I could think of was driving home to safety, to my parents, where everything had been safe”.

“The song tries to capture the feeling of desperation that follows when life takes a turn that you didn’t expect. The powerful melodies and the pulsating rhythm of the song underline the hopelessness that you can feel when life doesn’t follow your plans”, he explained.

Stream “Reformation” HERE

Stråle is a melodic metal band from Helsinki, Finland, combining Scandinavian melancholy, modern metal power, and cinematic emotion. Formed in 2009, the band has steadily evolved from underground beginnings to become one of Finland’s most exciting metal acts, known for their explosive live energy and massive choruses.

After their debut album “Bourbon Souls” (FDA Records, 2020), mixed by the renowned Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia), Stråle entered a new chapter with a refreshed lineup and creative energy. The arrival of vocalist Daniel Jakobsson and guitarist Jaakko Suomalainen brought new color and emotion to an already solid foundation, and together the band refined their signature sound – melodic, heavy, and deeply emotional.

The new EP “Reformation” captures this evolution. Produced by Teemu Aalto (Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, Ginger Evil) and Jani Autero, and mixed/mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe), it blends intensity with introspection. Songs like “Resist & Reform (feat. Björn “Speed” Strid, Soilwork)” and “Close Is Not Enough” showcase the band’s emotional range, while their acclaimed cover of “Blinding Lights” and the cinematic ballad “The Flame” display both versatility and soul.

The band commented: “Reformation” marks a new era for Stråle – musically, emotionally, and as a band. These songs have already proven themselves live, especially “Close Is Not Enough” and “Resist & Reform”, which have become real fan favorites on stage. It truly feels like a reformation for us; the sound, the energy, and the connection within the band are stronger than ever. We’re thrilled that Frontiers is now taking these songs under their wings and giving them the chance to fly as high as they can”.

In 2024, Stråle completed a 16-date European tour with Orphaned Land, performing in iconic venues such as The Underworld (London), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), and Petit Bain (Paris). With over 250,000 total streams and a growing fanbase across Europe, Stråle’s sound stands as a powerful statement of emotion, melody, and contemporary Nordic metal.

“Reformation” Tracklist:

1.    Resist and Reform (featuring Bjorn Strid)
2.    Close Is Not Enough
3.    The Heart You Tore Apart
4.    Destined For Desire
5.    Blinding Lights (The Weeknd Cover)

After the release of their debut single reached no. 8 in UK charts, the highest debut single by a Japanese band, SAHAJi now release their much anticipated album ‘Don’t Touch My Soul’ on 28th November on Flip Flop Records.

SAHAJi are an epic Japanese rock’n’roll band poised to make a big mark in the British music industry. Expect big epic soaring choruses with melodies harking back to classic 90’s Britpop bangers with a modern twist. Influenced by Oasis, Tom Petty, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix amongst others.
