BEYOND GRACE are starting 2021 as the latest band to be signed to the Prosthetic Records roster, with the promise of an abundance of new music to come this year. The first taste of what this British death metal five-piece have in store can be found on their blistering Bandcamp-only single, Fearmonger, accompanied by a politically charged music video from ERD Visual Media.

Of the single, the band comments: “Musically it’s very representative of the direction of the next record – bigger riffs, heavier hooks, tighter, punchier writing – there’s no filler, and everything is just more focussed and fluid. And then, obviously, the speech from Edward R. Murrow serves to reinforce how everything the song is talking about – the cultivation of discord and division, the weaponisation of ignorance and paranoia – isn’t new, and reminds us that we can’t allow ourselves to give in and be driven by fear.”

Fearmonger lays the foundations for an album later this year – if you’re not already on board with BEYOND GRACE, the time is now. Primed to deliver blow after blow of audio violence, BEYOND GRACE are at once cerebral, crushing and cathartic.

Of their signing to Prosthetic the band says: “Signing with Prosthetic isn’t just a validation of our bloody-minded perseverance over the years, it’s an opportunity, and a responsibility, to showcase what we can do, what we’re really capable of, and prove that we’re a band worth listening to. And we’re going to take that opportunity and run with it as far as we can.”

Prosthetic Records’ EJ Johantgen adds: “BEYOND GRACE mark the dawn of a new era in British death metal.”

Fearmonger is available via Bandcamp now. Stay tuned for more from BEYOND GRACE in the coming months.

AGUZZI To Release “Stronger than all” EP On January 29th

Italian metallers AGUZZI are set to release their new EP “Stronger than all” on January 29th, via Volcano Records.

Max starts playing electric guitar at age 16, when he discovers heavy metal music and bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Ozzy and many others. After many small cover bands, in 1999 Max founded “Dragonhammer” with his friend Gae Amodio. The good feedback of the demo tape “Age of Glory”, helps the band to sign with Legend Music / Elevate Records and to publish in 2001 the debut album “The Blood of the Dragon” with which they settle in the power-metal scene of these years. Followed by other successful albums with Dragonhammer: Time for expiation (2004), The x experiment (2013), Obscurity (2017). In 2016 he participates as special guest in the legendary Vivaldi Metal Project of his friend Mistheria. In 2018 he participates as a special guest in the excellent album by This Void Inside: “My second birth my only death”. In October 2018, Max left the band due to the impossibility of following the band in live performances and for personal reasons, although Max was always the author of all the music and lyrics (except in 2 songs) and the artistic ideas of Dragonhammer. In March 2019, Max founded a new band called “Aguzzi”: Sings and plays guitar in new style, new ideas and more hardness! An amazing line up with: Emiliano Cantiano on Drums (Shores Of Null, Ivory Moon ), Fabrizio Sclano on bass (Ivory Moon, Too Left 2 Be Right), Alessio Erriu on Guitar (Novembre, OA-ex Ossimoro).

“Stronger than all” tracklist:

  1. Stronger than all
  2. Lost in the desert
  3. Broken light
  4. Nothing else in my heart
  5. The house of the rising sun
    Running Time: 23’00”

Following the unexpected, sinister cover of EIFFEL 65’s 1998 hit single “Blue (Da Ba Dee),” celebrated orchestral death metal masters FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE have released a playthrough video for their version of the track, “Blue (Turns To Red),” featuring their monstrous drummer Eugene Ryabchenko.

Commenting on the playthrough, Ryabchenko states: “Not gonna lie I never thought a pop hit could be this challenging on drums. With Fleshgod’s signature sound the arrangements took a completely different form. I am pretty sure one way or another it “blue” some people’s minds.”

Frontman Francesco Paoli adds: “We did this cover as a joke, but tracking it wasn’t that funny. Seeing is believing!”

CELEB CAR CRASH Release New Single + Visualizer “Down to the Core”

Posted by tarjavirmakari on January 23, 2021
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: CELEB CAR CRASH. Leave a comment

CELEB CAR CRASH have released “Down to the Core”, a new single mixed by Riccardo “Paso” Pasini at Studio73 and Mastered at La Maestà Studio by Giovanni Versari (Muse, Afterhours …).

“Down to the Core”: There are people and feelings that we can feel even without seeing them, without touching them. They are invisible but present. We recognize the effects, in a frantic search we try to understand the dichotomy of our thinking: Rational, Irrational. Potential and Reality. Is this what we really want for ourselves? After all, we are probably only what we know.

The piece freely draws inspiration from CHRISTINA ROSSETTI’s Poem ‘Who Has Seen the Wind?’

Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you:
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.

Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I:
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by.

This is the fifth single and video released by the band which will be included in the album “The World Is Busy, Try Again Later” due out for the Zeta Factory on April 16, 2021.

The Visualizer like all Celeb Car Crash visual production is curated by Erika Errante. Artwork by Beba.
