YELLOWCARD Release New Version of ‘Bedroom Posters’, Feat. BLIPPI

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 12, 2026

Continuing what has become the most unexpected and awesome collaboration of 2026, multi-platinum pop-punk royalty Yellowcard have joined forces with global children’s education sensation Blippi to recharge and revamp their buzzing hit “Bedroom Posters” with a brand new duet version, out now via Better Noise. It’s Yellowcard and Blippi’s second track together, following “Go Go Go,” and third recording of “Bedroom Posters.”

Listen to “Bedroom Posters” (Feat. Blippi) here and watch the video below.

This iteration of the track maintains the energy of the original, yet Blippi brings his own magic to the party. He has retrofitted the tune with a fresh and family-friendly perspective, flipping lyrics like “Tear down my bedroom posters” to “Look at my bedroom posters” and soaring with the band on a sky-high chant of “Airplanes and rollercoasters.” Together, they also excitedly continue the “Year of Vehicles,” extending the celebration of the vehicles kids dig the most — from race cars and monster trucks to excavators and everything in between.

It’s the ultimate pop-punk anthem for the kids and mom and dad!

About the track, Yellowcard’s Ryan Key said, “My favorite part about this process was handing over an instrumental version of ‘Bedroom Posters’ to the Blippi team and letting them completely re-write the lyrics. I had the idea that this feature could be perfect because of the concept of posters on kids’ walls. I think they nailed it and this is hopefully going to inspire a generation of new little rockers!

Regarding the accompanying video, he states, “It was so fun to make. I think it pushed us all out of our comfort zones a little, and at this stage of our career, that usually leads to an amazing outcome. For me, as a first-time dad of a 2-year-old who is already showing signs of being very musical, I think this is going to be a really special way for him to connect with my music and see me doing what I love. I hope that energy is what other parents find when they are watching and listening to this with their kids.”

Blippi said, “Music is one of my favorite ways to play and collaborate, so teaming up with my friends in Yellowcard was a blast! We turned ‘Bedroom Posters’ into a version that kids and families can sing, dance, and laugh along with. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

As mentioned, “Bedroom Posters” follows hot on the heels of Yellowcard’s appearance on Blippi’s “Go Go Go.” The collab caught the attention of Billboard, praising how the track “introduces pop-punk to a new generation just in time for Yellowcard’s comeback.”

Yellowcard’s “Bedroom Posters” has quietly emerged as a staple with millions of streams and views as well being the current radio single featuring Good Charlotte; it’s landed at No. 5 on the Alternative Radio Charts. Beyond looks from Alternative Press Magazine, Rock Sound, and more, Consequence applauded how “the song finds Yellowcard singer Ryan Key trading vocals with Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden,” while Rolling Stone put it best, “It’s the collaboration made in pop-punk dreams.”

Meanwhile, Yellowcard are set to embark on their eagerly awaited headline run, “Up Up Down Down Tour,” across the US. The stacked bill features special guests New Found Glory and Plain White T’s. This run kicks on May 6 at Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy, visits major cities such as Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Nashville, and New York, and concludes on June 17 at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion.

ABOUT YELLOWCARD:
Yellowcard meant it when they said goodbye. The lights dimmed on one of the most beloved pop-punk and alt-rock bands of the 2000s with intention and authenticity. Wrapping things up with a farewell tour, Yellowcard exited the “right” way, with grace, appreciation, and finality. But the story wasn’t complete. Legacy cracked the door. Healing blew it wide open. Riding a resurgence that saw the global Ocean Avenue 20th anniversary tour featured in Forbes and a reconciliation that put all four members at peace with their legacy and each other, Yellowcard made the most ambitious and emotionally resonant record of their career. Better Days, the band’s first album in nearly a decade, was produced by blink-182’s Travis Barker, who also played drums on every track.  Their first release with powerhouse label Better Noise Music, Better Days is Yellowcard’s testimony that healing is a process, growth is nonlinear, and sometimes the best chapter opens after the supposed ending. This isn’t just a return. It’s a reckoning. And this time, Yellowcard is ready.

ATREYU Unleash Visualizer for New Single ‘Children Of Light’, Feat. Max Cavalera

While gearing up for their spring tour supporting Sevendust, ATREYU are excited to unleash their new single, “Children Of Light,” featuring the legendary Max Cavalera. The new track is taken from ATREYU‘s upcoming album, ‘The End is Not the End,’ set for release on April 24, 2026 via Spinefarm.

On the new single, ATREYU comments:

“‘Children of Light’ was created with a primal spirit in mind. A ‘festival’ song. Heavily inspired by classic Sepultura, though it seemed like an untouchable ask, we wanted Max involved. We’re honored to share this song with a legend.”

‘The End is Not the End’ is undeniably ATREYU’s heaviest album ever and their most adventurous. “We realized what made ATREYU great in the beginning was that we didn’t sound like anyone else,” frontman Brandon Saller explains. “We didn’t really make sense anywhere. We weren’t an emo band, a metal band, a punk band — but somehow it all worked. We kind of just carved our own path.”

Guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel, bassist Porter McKnight, drummer Kyle Rosa, and Saller created several of ‘The End is Not the End’’s songs on creative trips.

“Tokyo made us feel like kids again,” Saller says. “We’d write for a few hours in the morning, then go out and get lost in all this inspiration. The first song we finished was ‘Dead,’ and we knew we were onto something.”

After the Japanese sessions, the band and their producer decamped to San Juan Island off the coast of Washington, where isolation became a creative accelerant. “It was the polar opposite of Tokyo. We didn’t leave the house for four days and wrote some of the heaviest songs on the record.”

The result is an album that feels simultaneously classic and unfamiliar, aggressive and unselfconscious, deeply emotional and unconcerned with trends. Produced by Matt Pauling, ATREYU’s tenth album is vibrant, inventive, and beautifully aggressive.

“It’s our heaviest, most metal record we’ve made,” Saller points out. “But it’s also the biggest musical journey we’ve taken in years.”

The album moves seamlessly from soaring melodic heft to muscular metallic weight, with cinematic shades and atmosphere, all tied together by a driving, raw intensity. Tracks like “Dead,” “Ghost in Me,” “Children of Light (featuring Max Cavalera),” and “Afterglow” sound both timely and timeless.

Finnish metal band Negaatio released their debut album ‘Mieleni Murtama’ on April 10th 2026 via Inverse Records. Listen to the album on streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/negaatio-album

Petrus Markkinen comments:
“From the very beginning it was clear to us that our debut album’s running theme would be more or less waning mental health, psychological unstableness, and even the feeling of ending up crushed. This was already clear in the writing process.

As songwriters, we drew these topics from our own experiences or imaginary madness.

Our wish was to bare our claws right at the beginning, so we included a whopping 11 songs in our first album. Each song is heavier than the last, and it has been fun to fit all kinds of nuances in them.

Nevertheless, we built our songs with a sense of style so that the reasonableness in the songs would remain. I would say that “Mieleni murtama”, is in all its madness and its rage, an idyllic experience to the core of intense metal music. In Finnish, of course.”

Track list:

  1. Kuori
  2. Valehtelija
  3. Leukaperä
  4. Loppuunpoltettu
  5. Koditon
  6. Inertia
  7. Laskusuhdanne
  8. Vedenpinta
  9. Mania
  10. Kun Muisto Saastuttaa
  11. Tiedon Viimeinen Alttari

–Recorded by Eero Jaakkola
–Mixed & mastered by Pauli Mänty
–Album cover by Rafael Johansson / Pyramantacle

Founded at the end of 2022, Negaatio has brought in the blink of an eye original tones to the Finnish metal scene, with a fierce and crushing touch.

The five-man group, who have focused their activities in Tampere, create a wide mood palette with their music, which has nuances of hopelessness, rage, and reflection.

In the music of Negaatio, extreme and repulsive topics are not ignored but confronted in all their horror, almost compulsively.

The heavy playing transports the listener towards a cracking state of mind.

The band has received praise from numerous performances and won bronze at the Emergenza 2025 finals in the Tampere region.

Negaatio firmly believes in its own vision, doing it with the purest passion and offering the heavy metal populace unexpected live energy, a sense of danger, and iron-like skill.

Line-up:
Jani Myllylä – Vocals
Eero Jaakkola – Guitar
Juhani Aalto – Guitar
Petrus Markkinen – Bass
Waltteri Santala – Drums

SENKI Release Official Music Video for ‘Szilánkok’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 12, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: SENKI. Leave a comment

Modern metal force Senki is proud to spotlight the official music video for “Szilánkok” (Splinters), the titular track from their acclaimed EP. Originally released in 2024, the video serves as a hauntingly beautiful visual companion to a song that defines the band’s raw, self-reflective ethos.

“Szilánkok” single holds a pivotal place in the band’s history as the first track completed for the EP. The song catalyzed a new creative direction for founder Ákos Rikter, born from the crucible of a personal relationship crisis. It explores the painful friction between chasing artistic dreams and fulfilling the responsibilities of being a partner and a head of a family.

“It is about those realizations whose liberating quality stems from experiencing and granting freedom,” says Rikter. “These realizations made letting go easier, eventually allowing us to find each other again and for everything to fall into place.”

Musically, “Szilánkok” encapsulates the Senki sound: a sophisticated blend of heavy, groove-driven riffs and atmospheric melodies. The track’s emotional weight is matched by intense vocals that transition from visceral aggression to vulnerable reflection, mirroring the “splinters” of a fracturing and then healing life.

Szilánkok EP is now availble on all digital platforms.
