“The world has been in such a state of civil unrest,” says singer Taylor Momsen. “‘And So It Went’ basically comes from that vision. As a songwriter, I feel like I’m not here to preach. I use music to observe and communicate what I see around me. This song felt like the perfect storm for Tom Morello to join in and rip the sound waves apart with his guitar. It was more than a pleasure having him add his unique and defining sound to the song.”
The band previously shared the glamorous video for “25.”
The Pretty Reckless will release their fourth album, “Death By Rock And Roll”, on February 12 via Century Media Records. Pre-orders are live here.
The album, which follows 2010’s Light Me Up, 2014’s Going To Hell, and 2016’s Who You Selling For, is titled after the first single, which rocketed to No. 1 on the rock charts and held strong for several weeks. It marked the fifth No. 1 single of the band’s career and was heralded by Paper, Loudwire, CNN, Forbes , and more. The band also has the incredible and impressive distinction of being the first female-fronted band to have back-to-back No. 1 singles at the active rock format and the first female-fronted act to have five No. 1 singles on the Billboard chart.

With less than a month to go to the release of “The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder”, the much-anticipated third full-length album from ENDEZZMA, Dark Essence Records have provided a further glimpse into the darkness the Norwegian Black Metallers are so adept at creating with the release of a new single taken from the album, along with an accompanying video.
The single, titled “Wild Glorior Death” can be streamed or downloaded at this location.
Whilst the video for “Wild Glorior Death” can be seen below.
The band point out that with its powerful build up to the climax, the video is the perfect visual accompaniment to the track:
“Wild Glorior Death” is a true manifest and a real gate to the core of the mythical and philosophical depth of the album. In this song you find the essential battle of strength, untamed forces and the unbound darkness. A rapture of oppressive sonic splendour visualized by the video that follows the track. The journey builds up through a real violent and epic storm and through the thunder the listener will experience that the song represents the turning point in the storyline of the album. The Archer claims his throne through “Wild Glorior Death”
With “The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder”, ENDEZZMA have taken massive strides with their song writing, and have produced an album that bridges the gap between dark anthems and primitive aggression. Recorded at the Vika Studio and the Malpherno Studio in Norway, the album was mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at the Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm. Artwork is by Stefan Todorovic/Kahos Diktator Design, and the tracklisting is as follows:
The Awakening
The Name of the Night is a Strong Tower
Anomalious Abomination
The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder
Formless and Void
Garden ov Heathen
Wild Glorior Death
Open Your Eyes and Stab the Sight
Arrows of Equilibrium

“The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder” will hit the streets on the 22nd January, and will be available in Digipak CD, digital and LP formats, with an A2 poster included with the vinyl version. It is now available to pre-order from the following:
Founded in 2006 by frontman M. Shax, the band’s current lineup is comprised of M. Shax on vocals, M. Malphas on guitars, Nihil on Rythm Guitar, Skriu on Drums and Aske on bass. It is a lineup whose talent and experience makes it ideal to perform music that is brutal, fiercely intense, and yet aesthetically mystical for which ENDEZZMA is noted.
Since forming in 2014, LIVLØS have rapidly made their mark on the Danish metal scene through energetic and enthralling live performances, as well as reputable releases and appearances, including COPENHELL, EUROSONIC and SPOTFESTIVAL. Determined and efficient, LIVLØS have proven why they are among Denmark’s most promising metal bands. Today, Napalm Records is proud to announce that LIVLØS has signed a worldwide record deal, in addition to signing with in-house booking agency Napalm Events!
LIVLØS on signing with Napalm Records: “We are immensely proud to sign with such a great label as Napalm Records, as well as Napalm Events and Iron Avantgarde Publishing! The label alone has provided us with multiple records that have essentially aided in shaping the sound of LIVLØS over the years – and even before the band was started! We look forward to a long and prosperous adventure with our new family and to taking the LIVLØS name even further!”
Thorsten Harm, Booking Agent at Napalm Events on signing LIVLØS to Napalm Events: “Since I was running into LIVLØS’ manager at the legendary Prime Collective Christmas Party in Copenhagen in late 2018, I kept an eye on this promising band. In the last few years they worked hard and were developping succesfully in their home country. Now it’s time for them to move on and explore international territories. I’m excited to represent them as a booking agent from now and can’t wait to get them on the road once the pandemic is over.”

LIVLØS (translates to ‘lifeless’) performs melodic death metal, merging grandiose Scandinavian melodies and melancholy with intense American-rooted death metal, putting a unique spin on bands like AT THE GATES, CARCASS and DEATH.
The band is currently working on their explosive, hard-hitting 2021 release, ready to take their career to the next level with Napalm Records!
Danish Death-Metal outfit BAEST release “Meathook Massacre” the second single of their upcoming album release “Necro Sapiens” (March 5th) accompanied by a stellar live performance video recorded in their studio. The band comments:
“The video for Meathook Massacre is from the recording process of the Necro Sapiens album. The whole album was recorded live, every one of us tracking simultaneously – and the observant listener is able to spot some tracks, that made it to the final cut as well! (Disclaimer: the lights weren’t as cool for the whole recording, sadly…)”

About “Meathook Massacre”
“In his den of violence, a specialist in pain and suffering resides. A torture mercenary, who lives to see the everflowing stream of malicious desires of the elite, satisfied. We welcome you, to his Meathook Massacre.”
BAEST come from Aarhus in Denmark and have successfully established themselves as one of the country’s most promising metal acts in recent years. While deeply rooted in straight-forward classic death metal inspired by genre legends like Dismember, Entombed, Morbid Angel, Death, and Bolt Thrower, the 2015 formed band evolved from a Danish underground phenomenon to an internationally touring act (2018 tour with Abbath, 2019 EU/UK trek with Decapitated). Also, at festivals like Summer Breeze, Copenhell, Ruhrpott Metal Meeting, Roskilde, they left audiences impressed and begging for more. After their already praised debut album “Danse Macabre” the band took it to the next level in 2019 and delivered “Venenum” where they refined their already steamroller-like signature sound.
With the expectation-bar already set so high for their next record BAEST truly drops their most anticipated and most important album so far.
The album is available in various formats and can be pre – ordered HERE!
