Yesterday, on 24th October, when they started their run of UK shows with Bobbie Dazzle, SILVEROLLER released their new single, ‘Trouble Follows Me (Live in ’25)’.
This track is a searing rocker that captures the very essence of the band, showcasing their flair and fabulousness alongside that live feel and groove. With more new music coming in ’26, the buzz is growing exponentially in the Silveroller camp!
“Trouble Follows Me, our tongue in cheek moment of truth, sometimes it does feel like no matter how fast, how far we run, how much peace we try and seek, trouble some how arrives at our door.”
We wanted to get some new music out to everyone who’s been following us, and we recorded a lot of our shows on tour earlier in the year, mainly for ourselves so we could hear how we’re sounding live. One of the constant questions we had gotten from fans was “when will we have some new music!?”. There’s some good news for anyone who wants new music from Silveroller. We’re currently in the writing process for a new record! There’s a lot of work going into the songs. We’re starting to discuss studios and we’re getting ready to make our first Full length album some time early next year.
Before then though, we wanted to release a live single, or two, of songs that will be on that record. We didn’t want the people who have been asking for new music to have to wait for the “studio versions” to be ready for you to hear them, so here is ‘Trouble Follows Me – Live’, unfiltered, raw, passionate and as it came from us onstage. We hope you dig it, thank you for waiting so patiently for new music, there’s more on the way.
With love, Silveroller”
Silveroller head out on tour in October with Bobbie Dazzle for 3 shows, then finish up supporting REEF at Liverpool: “Thrilled to be heading out on the road in October! We’re out with two incredible artists.
Bobbie Dazzle… what can we say!? Absolutely amazing, we’ve tried to align schedules in the past, to play shows together, and haven’t been able to make it work so we’re buzzing to get this run of dates down. It’s going to be one hell of a stylish tour! We’re stoked to return to London, and to be playing in a venue on the iconic Denmark Street is gonna be a thrill. We’ve only played in Wales a couple of times, and we’re really excited to get back. Manchester we’ve done once before when we played with DeWolff last year, it was an amazing show last time, I’m sure it will be this time as well.
Then we’re rounding off the run with Reef, in Liverpool o2 Academy, a home town show for a couple of the boys! Me and Joe saw Reef open for The Black Crowes when we were in pre production for ‘At Dawn’, they blew our head off so getting the invite to open is amazing.
We made a decision to come off the road for a bit and concentrate on writing new material for our next record, so we’re looking forward to getting some new material onstage! We’re really excited to get out on the road!” Rev.JH

JUNO nominated and Maple Blues Award winner Spencer Mackenzie releases his second single “Shoot Me Down” from his upcoming studio album Empty Chairs. The single is available from Friday October 24th on all available platforms HERE. Watch the lyric video HERE.
“Shoot Me Down” cuts deep with its swampy slide guitar and stripped-down blues-rock grit, a raw reflection on one-sided love and the weight of carrying a relationship alone. “How can you hold up both ends if you’re the only one?” Every note feels like a push and pull between hope and frustration, the sound of giving everything to someone who won’t meet you halfway. With each slide and sting of the guitar, “Shoot Me Down” reminds us that you can’t spend your life making up someone else’s mind if all they ever do is tear you down.
Mackenzie’s new album Empty Chairs will be released by Gypsy Soul Records on February 20th, 2026. The album is produced by 2XJuno nominated producer, mixer and engineer and Emmy Award winning recording mixer Ross Hayes Citrullo, the guitarist of The Commoners.
Spencer’s passion for the genre deepens as he explores the works of blues legends while simultaneously being influenced by the bold energy of renowned present-day blues rockers in this highly anticipated new album. This fusion of styles along with Spencer’s unique sound in his new upcoming album Empty Chairs embodies this gritty, introspective style with electrifying guitar, punchy riffs, soaring organ, dynamic vocals, and an explosive rhythm section.
With his fluid phrasing, resonant tone, and expressive performances, one could believe Spencer Mackenzie was born on Beale Street. That, however, would be wrong. The lauded JUNO-nominated blues-rock artist hails from Southern Ontario and has steadily earned accolades, and the attention of blues aficionados from around the world. Leaving nothing behind when he steps to the stage, Mackenzie offers show goers a powerhouse performance, commanding his guitar with sophistication and prowess beyond his years.
For nearly a decade, Maple Blues Award winner Spencer Mackenzie has been writing and recording true blues, showcasing the raw emotion and honesty the genre demands. There’s a familiarity and ease with which he approaches the music, almost as though it flows through rather than from him. The energy of his work is infectious, permeating through the listener until they, too, feel the heartbeat of the blues.
Mackenzie’s high-energy, captivating performance is one that grabs the audience from the moment the first note is played. With numerous Canadian, European, and US shows performed, some of his most notable performances include the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Festival d’été de Quebec, Moulin Blues Ospel, Ribs & Blues Raalte and Kulturring Schöppingen Blues Festival alongside acts such as Walter Trout, Fantastic Negrito, Samantha Fish and Jesse Dayton, just to name a few. With an electrifying presence and his new album on the horizon, this left-handed guitar slinger shows no signs of slowing down, delivering performances that leaves the audience buzzing long after the final note.
Empty Chairs is just that, the fusion of styles along with Spencer’s unique sound while simultaneously being influenced by the bold energy of renowned present-day blues rockers embodies this gritty, introspective style with electrifying guitar.
As previously mentioned, the new album is produced by Ross Hayes Citrullo, a 2X JUNO Award–nominee and Emmy Award winner. With a career defined by passion and creativity, Ross has earned multiple accolades for his work on albums that have topped charts and garnered millions of streams worldwide.
Citrullo’s distinctive approach to production blends artistry with technical mastery, bringing out the best in every project he touches. Now, Ross brings this wealth of experience and vision to this new album, infusing it with the same energy and dedication that has made his previous work celebrated worldwide.
“What we caught on this album is honesty and fire,” says Citrullo. “Spencer’s playing is fearless, his voice wide open, and every take breathes like a live show you don’t want to end. Producing it was about chasing moments you can’t fake—tone that tells the truth, stories that cut deep, and performances that live in the room. It’s the blues, lit up with a rock edge—hitting with modern bite and a timeless feel.”

ALBUM TRACK BY TRACK
1 – Empty Chairs A soulful blues rock song that expresses anger and frustration from the perspective of friends and families, who have lost innocent people they love due to gun violence. This can’t be the new normal! It’s got to change!
2 – Trip An upbeat, guitar heavy anthem for the people who just want to be noticed and for people who are crying and screaming trying to get out! Whether it’s a dream or reality, let’s go on a trip!
3 – What You Do When we say that we’re fine. Are we really? Or are we just trying to save others over ourselves? ‘What You Do’ is a high energy blues rock song that’s meant to bring your attention to the guessing game we all play.
4 – Don’t Know Where I’m Going A nod to one of the greatest guitar players to ever do it, this rendition of Gallagher’s acoustic blues folk number cranks up the volume and takes you down a road with deep, gritty guitar and an exciting fast rhythm section.
5 – Till I Get to You All the pressure you carry is lifted when you get to the one you love with this soulful acoustic style song about the person that is always there for you, understands you, gets you, and helps you through it all.
6 – Frozen Hearts This heavy blues rock song is a tribute to the victims of residential schools, who were taken from their way of life, family, culture and stripped of their identity. May the story of the ones who never made it home forever be heard and remind us to carry their memory with love and respect.
7 – Helping Hands In life there are people who only do something because it benefits them. Sometimes they are the closest to us. “Helping Hands” is a funky blues rock song about moving on from the person that thinks you need them, but they need you more than you need them!
8 – Why You can do the best job you can, but for someone who doesn’t know themselves, it often becomes a thankless job. “Why” is a sad song filled with soulful licks and harmonies that’s about doing everything right and getting hurt in return. You can solve all their problems just to be thrown out and left behind wondering why.
9 – Shoot Me Down How can you hold up both ends if you’re the only one? A relationship has two sides. This bare bones slide guitar song is about coming up with every idea for someone, them saying no, then never telling you what they really want. You can’t spend your life making up someone else’s mind if all they do is shoot you down.
10 – You Won’t Find Her It’s not you, it’s all me. We both know that’s a lie. This heavy riff driven blues rock song leaves you questioning how someone you once loved could go so wrong. You’re left confused, searching for answers, until you finally realize you’re better off without them.”
11 – Evil No matter how many people tell you to stay away or tell you, you’re wrong, sometimes we won’t listen, and we find out for ourselves. “Evil” is a song with a punchy rhythm section and an in-your-face guitar sound, that’s about learning how much someone can twist your mind or how blind love can really be.
German metalcore innovators Avralize have released their brand-new single ‘liminal’, the title track of their highly anticipated debut album, set to drop on 14th November.
With a string of explosive singles already under their belt, the band has racked up more than 2.2 million streams on Spotify alone, proving their rapid rise as one of the most exciting new names in the heavy scene. ‘liminal’ captures the essence of their unique sound: razor-sharp riffs, dynamic shifts between chaos and melody, and an intensity that pulls listeners into their world.
German post-hardcore heavyweights Our Mirage are entering their next chapter with the release of their brand-new single ‘Timeloss’, featuring Screamistry, and the official launch of the pre-orders for their upcoming album Fractured Minds, due out 30th January, 2026.
Following an impressive streak of singles that together amassed over 5.7 million streams on Spotify and secured the band more than 240,000 monthly listeners, Our Mirage now raise the stakes. ‘Timeloss’ blends the band’s trademark emotional intensity with a brutal edge, fueled by the dynamic feature from Screamistry, creating a track that is as cathartic as it is relentless.
With Fractured Minds, Our Mirage are set to deliver their most ambitious and emotionally charged record to date. The new single not only sets the tone for the album but also cements their status as one of Europe’s most vital voices in modern heavy music.
Following the success of their previous full-length Odyssey, which has already surpassed 700,000 streams worldwide, Sable Hills are ready to elevate their sound to new heights. ‘Namu’ delivers everything fans have come to expect and more: blistering riffs, thunderous drumming, and an intensity that bridges modern heaviness with the band’s distinct melodic edge.
Mavis are ready to pull listeners deeper into their sonic universe with their brand-new single ‘The Great Attractor’, the fourth track from their ongoing new album cycle.
After making waves with their 2023 debut Grief Is No Ally, which has already amassed more than 700,000 streams worldwide, Mavis continue to showcase their knack for fusing raw heaviness with striking melodies and forward-thinking songwriting. ‘The Great Attractor’ pushes their sound even further: crushing riffs, relentless breakdowns, and soaring hooks collide in a track that feels both urgent and cinematic.
The new single once again underlines Mavis’ rapid rise as one of Germany’s most promising heavy acts. With each release, the band sharpen their identity and prove that they’re not just part of the scene, they’re shaping its future.
