Greek melodic metal masters NIGHTFALL will be releasing their new full-length, ‘At Night We Prey,’ on March 5, 2021 via Season of Mist, making it the band’s debut to the label! The band has shared “Killing Moon,” the brand new second single from the offering. Listen at THIS LOCATION.

‘At Night We Prey’ is now available for pre-orders HERE.

Vocalist Efthimis Karadimas comments on the track: “‘Killing Moon’ is about losing yourself into horrifying thoughts. This is a fight you give every single day with depression. It is a real battlefield with you hiding in sloppy trenches, amid heavy bombardment. When the night falls, things become nastier; depression hits you harder in solitude. The burden is heavier when you are alone and all you need is peace of mind. You would beg for help, but it is like your voice is muted and none can hear you. None can understand the situation you are into. That makes you mad. Anger builds up. Faith collapses. You become prey to depression and your reactions turn violent. Only way out is that dim light of a guiding star you somehow trust it’s gonna save you. But is it true?”

The album artwork for ‘At Night We Prey’ was created by Travis Smith.

Track-list
1. She Loved the Twilight
2. Killing Moon
3. Darkness Forever
4. Witches

STORTREGN Launch New Single + Lyric Video “Cosmos Eater”

Recent The Artisan Era signees STORTREGN are proud to announce the upcoming release of their fifth full-length, Impermanence. Set for release on March 12th via The Artisan Era. Famed Italian painter Paolo Girardi (Power Trip, Artificial Brain, Chthe’ilist) lends his masterful touch to the fantastic artwork adorning Impermanence. Recorded, mixing and mastering was handled at Conatus Studio, Switzerland by Vladimir Cochet (Mirrorthrone, Weeping Birth).

Active since 2006, the Geneva-Switzerland-based act has released four albums and an EP to date which has garnered worldwide praise from music writers and extreme metal fans alike. Their most recent prior album, 2018’s Emptiness Fills the Void, boosted the band’s status and fanbase to new levels. Now the time has come for the group to take their next leap forward, a sentiment Impermanence embodies and embraces with unorthodox yet graceful conviction from start to finish.

Impermanence draws inspiration from a mix of a large array of influences including progressive tech-death to 90’s Swedish black metal, old-school heavy metal, and jazz in order to craft a unique style of melodic black metal intertwined with a variety of death metal influences.

Stortregn – Impermanence is highly recommended for fans of bands such as Obscura, Opeth, Inferi, Dissection.

The band partnered with No Clean Singing to premiere a new single/lyric video for “Cosmos Eater”. In addition, pre-orders in a variety of formats and bundles are now available and linked to below.

SCARLETH Release New Video “Be What You Are”

Ukrainian modern melodic metallers SCARLETH unveils new video “Be What You Are” taken from their latest full length album “VORTEX”.

Playing music on joint of modern heaviness and diverse melodism, Band’s style is expanding constantly and represents mind-blowing mixture of many melodic genres – from power, folk, doom and gothic metal to modern/progressive metal. The band completely deserves to be called one of the most outstanding young musical representatives of its style.

Guitarist Victor Morozov comments “This music video is tribute to pre-COVID 19 era we all miss so much. We hope that great old days when all bands were touring the world freely will return soon!”
“Be What You Are” is a short and pushful song which says that anyone can achieve anything. The most important is to believe in yourself and take action. Riffs in this track are quite unusual to our style I must say and that makes the track stand on it’s own.”

“Be What You Are” Video has been recorded during the “Vortex” tour final performance, November 16, 2019 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Their second album “The Silver Lining” has been just reissued on December 2020.

Both “Vortex” and “The Silver Lining” are available on Rockshots Store:
