With Welding Mask Into The New Year – OIL Release Live Video

Posted by tarjavirmakari on January 3, 2021
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: OIL. 2 Comments

Just in time for the New Year, the southern German hard rock/heavy metallers OIL cause a stir with a live video. With bare torsos, under rusty-oily stage lights, the power trio, which released their first concert film just last year on Amazon Prime Video, burns off virtuoso heavy metal fireworks of the finest – including pyrotechnics, of course. Impressive: a blind guitar solo by frontman Gert Endres, who puts on a welding mask for the solo. The video is part of the film recording for the online music festival “WeLive”, which was awarded the nationwide German Rock & Pop Award for its high film quality only in December. OIL was on stage at “WeLive” as a headliner. Due to the measures against the corona virus, the performance took place without an audience.

For OIL, the film shot with 10 cameras was already the second concert film production. Already in 2019, the band released the from critics highly recommended concert film “OIL – Live in Concert” on the streaming provider Amazon Prime Video.

CELEB CAR CRASH have released “Divine”, a new single mixed by Riccardo “Paso” Pasini at Studio73 and Mastered at La Maestà Studio by Giovanni Versari (Muse, Afterhours …)

“Divine”: Despite the physical and inner beauty of your counterpart, if you travel at different speeds it is difficult to find each other, even if there is affection and there has been love. What remains is that person’s smile. We separate and usually we are always the last to understand the exact moment in which the real separation took place.

This is the fourth single and video released by the band which will be included in the album “The World Is Busy, Try Again Later” due out for the Zeta Factory on April 16, 2021.

The Visualizer, like all Celeb Car Crash visual production, is curated by Erika Errante. Artwork by Martino Neri

GONE IN APRIL, the symphonic melodic death metallers based in Canada and the USA – feat. TESTAMENT‘s Bassist Steve Di Giorgio – have released a lyric video for “Power To Heal”, created/animated by Wayne Joyner.

Watch here:

The band commented:
“As we get closer to 2021, we look back on 2020, and think about how our lives have changed due to the pandemic. We are extremely grateful for all the dedicated healthcare workers that have given, and continue to give everything they have, and for so many months in a row. We salute your courage, your devotion and your strength. Many of us in the band have either worked in healthcare, or have close family that do. In the song Power to Heal, from our album Shards of Light (2019), we put ourselves in the shoes of a physician, experiencing both the victories and the struggles attached to the profession. We wish all of you a happy new year, with the strong hope that 2021 will be the year where we can put these trying times behind us. To 2021 and awesome times to come! Many thanks to Wayne Joyner who created/animated the lyric video!”

Staying true in their quest to keep fans on their toes, celebrated orchestral death metal masters FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE are ringing in 2021 with an unexpected, sinister symphonic cover of fellow Italian electronic group EIFFEL 65‘s 1998 hit single “Blue (Da Ba Dee)”.

Listen now:

Commenting on the cover, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE frontman Francesco Paoli states:
“After the amazing response over our latest single “No,” we wanted to release something that could make the end of this shitty 2020 a bit funnier for everyone. That’s why we took a popular dance track from the 90s and made it the heaviest, angriest, bloodiest party song ever. We’re ready to blast your ears again in 2021, stay tuned!”
