LEVARA and Mascot Records present “Chameleon,” the second song to be revealed from the band’s debut studio album coming in 2021.

Singer Jules Galli offers, “The metaphor of being a chameleon in our human society is something we can all relate to in our own way. The chameleon learns to blend in as a means of survival… he’s got to stay invisible to predators while preying on his next meal. To me, the song is so deep that the meaning of the song keeps evolving through time. Within our authenticity lies our real power. Break free from this mode of survival and let yourself be seen, heard and accepted.”  Drummer Josh Devine shares, “Chameleon is one of my personal favorites on our debut record.  The meaning to me personally speaks to the idea that I don’t want to just be another chameleon, blending in to fit in with the worlds agenda to be liked or loved for someone I am not. It may be the path of least resistance, but at what cost? Stand out and be YOU! Loud and proud.  I’d rather be hated for who I really am, then loved for who I’m not!”

Guitarist Trev Lukather reveals, “Chameleon was one of the last songs we wrote and laid down in the studio. Originally it was supposed to be a deluxe track but we knew as we were writing and starting to build it, that it was an undeniable anthem that moved its way up as a serious contender on the album. My long-time friend Steve Perry who was a huge presence on this record brought a lot to the table on this track. He brought his legendary power house vocals on the BGVs and group vocals. He and I built the epic bridge solo together. He even sang on top of the guitar solo melody. It was a spiritual experience making this song and it has such a spiritual meaning to it.”

The music video was produced and directed by Jake Hays and Olivia DeLaurentis.  Trev Lukather offers, “The video we made for Chameleon shows how we all blend together. We all have our unique qualities, and they are beautiful, we are beautiful. Truly showing we are one race, the human race. We had our close friends from all different backgrounds come by and sing a pass through the song. No direction other than sing along and be you. The song brought nothing but connection, happiness and love out of everyone that took the time to be a part of it. You can clearly see that in the video. Everyone shines. We all do and that’s the truth. Let’s love together, enough with the pointless hate.”  Josh Devine echoes these thoughts stating, “The video really captures the notion that we are all different and beautiful, and we should be celebrating that! I’m excited for the world to hear this!” Jules Galli adds, “I am so grateful for everyone involved in this video and thankful for Steve Perry in lending us his genius on this very special song.”

Earlier this year, LEVARA and Mascot Records presented “Heaven Knows,” the first recording to be shared in front of the band’s debut studio album.  To view the accompanying music video, click here: https://youtu.be/Ca0yQq05QOE.

Trev Lukather, Jules Galli and Josh Devine are LEVARA.   Collectively, their musical union brings life to the individual talents of three musicians that together have enriched the aural landscape for all of us. Their songs offer an escape, as all music does, with points of reflection that relate to any listener’s life. The collective hope is simple. To be the catalyst for each and every person who comes across the music to find revelations through the experience of hearing these songs.

Their union merged in Los Angeles, one The World’s epicenters of musical creativity. Singer Jules Galli emigrated from France, while drummer Josh Devine chose L.A. as home versus his native United Kingdom following success behind the kit with One Direction. There they found common vision with Trev Lukather (guitar), son of Toto’s Steve Lukather, one of SoCal’s most successful ensembles to ever emerge from the city.  On some level these three players believe the universe brought them together.

Prior to recording their debut, the band toured the United States several times and supported Toto on an arena tour last Summer. While in Europe, they staged several headline appearances across Germany and other countries, floored by the response with fans coming out at every date.  In Early 2020, they began their collaboration with Producer Ethan Kaufmann at Elephant In The Room Studios in East Hollywood. The album unequivocally captured the magic they sought to see take life.

“I believe LEVARA is a band that can spark an influence for young kids and people of all ages to pick up an instrument and feel that connection,” Trev concludes. “At the same time of singing along to anthemic, feel-good, and emotional tunes, you can incorporate the heart and soul that started music in the first place. We want to inspire our generation and the next to want to pick up a guitar, pick up a bass, pick up drum sticks, or go for those high notes vocally.  I feel there is a need for epic ‘pop’ tunes to have that musicianship behind them like the classic bands we all love and admire. I believe we accomplished that with our album. If we can influence that in any way, we are winning.”

The band has plans to tour late-Spring, 2021. A confirmed itinerary will be announced shortly.  This week, the band’s merch store has opened, with initial t-shirt designs now available here: https://www.levaramusic.com/shop.

Norwegian southern death/grind machinery SON OF A SHOTGUN (aka SOAS) – led by Ivan “Meathook” Gujic (guitarist of BLOOD RED THRONE) – have unleashed a live video for ‘All I got left’, taken from the band’s performance on November 28th at Kristiansand kulturhus in Norway.

Watch the live video here:

The band’s upcoming EP ‘Be for oss alle’ is coming out soon, and it was mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy).

Watch the EP teaser here: https://youtu.be/Z_S4JGeD2OQ.

Stated Meathook: “This EP is gonna blow people’s heads of!”

SON OF A SHOTGUN started as a one man band from Norway, Kristiansand. Ivan “Meathook” Gujic – guitarist from BLOOD RED THRONE – who formed the project in 2014. He wrote all the songs, played all the instruments, sang and recorded the music. SOAS’ debut album “Mexican Standoff” came out in 2017 on his underground label http://www.norskstaalrecords.com. Featuring artists such as: Jan Axel “Hellhammer” Blomberg (Mayhem), Maurice Adams (Motor Finger), Damage Karlsen (Chrome Division), Olivier Pinard (Cryptopsy). He has kept the album away from reviews and music experts. Always going the different way, what the average bands would do. The album was released online through “Indigoboom” in 2018. Spotify, bandcamp, soundcloud. The style of SOAS can be explained as Southern Death/Grind. Meathook is always trying to do something different and original. Not only with the music, but also with the show concepts and the wholeness within the project. In May 2019, Ivan announced a new full SOAS line-up.

SOAS line-up:
Kristoffer Lunden (the fuze) – drums
Stians Gundownyourson – bass
Henrik Nomansland – vocals
Ivan Meathook Gujic – Mastermind

BONNIE TYLER has announced the release of her brand-new studio album “The Best Is Yet To Come”, out on February 26th, 2021 on earMUSIC. Fans will get a full first taste of the forthcoming album next Friday, December 18th, when the first song “When The Lights Go Down” will be available for streaming and download.

For anyone who cannot wait, a beautiful 3-Track-Medley is already up on YouTube right now:

If you think of the decade that represents the craziest hairstyles, the boldest outfits and the most iconic music videos, then you think of the 1980s. This decade created so many different genres and developed wild new styles. In this creative environment Bonnie Tyler made her biggest worldwide breakthrough. Her new album “The Best Is Yet To Come” picks up exactly where her classic songs like „Holding Out For A Hero” and „Total Eclipse Of The Heart” left off.

The first lady of pop/rock, Bonnie Tyler, has had a remarkable career spanning 5 decades. She made music history with her instantly recognizable voice. Bonnie’s unique talent delivered those era-defining mega hits and until now she has sold over 100 million records. The release of her new album will be preceded by the first single “When The Lights Go Down” on 18 December 2020. “The Best is Yet To Come” consists of twelve brand new tracks, and is the follow up to her successful studio album “Between The Earth And The Stars”.

“The Best Is Yet To Come” presents Bonnie’s “up to date” sound that still evokes the passion, energy and the fun of those glory years. Again, working with long-time producer David Mackay, this new album stands proudly amongst anything she has done in the past. Her last album “Between The Earth and The Stars” reflected her serious star power, boasting contributions from Rod Stewart, Barry Gibb of The Bee Gees, Cliff Richard and Francis Rossi of Status Quo. It charted her highest across Europe in over 30 years. Now on “The Best Is Yet To Come” she proves that she doesn’t need guests to perfect a stunning album.

Bonnie explains: “I have been anxious to sing for you all for the past 10 long and scary months. I realize some of you have suffered from the virus and loss of family and friends and my heart aches for you. Music can lighten our load and is always my personal retreat. I hope these new songs will lift your spirits. I am so happy and proud of this new album. It simply rocks and brings a smile to my face every time I put it on. The moment we can get back on stage and see your smiling faces will be extra special. I promise the best IS yet to come.”

The title of the album “The Best Is Yet To Come” says that there is no stopping the effervescent Bonnie Tyler. She is back, better than ever and with this energetic, empowering and joyful collection she’s ready to shake off the blues of 2020 and get the party started!

“The Best Is Yet To Come” will be available on CD and digital on February 26th 2021 on earMUSIC.

On March 12th, 2021, BLACKMORE’S NIGHT will release “Nature’s Light”, their eleventh studio album and the first in six years.

The band, founded 1997 by award-winning vocalist Candice Night and legendary guitar icon Ritchie Blackmore, have reveal the first single and music video ‘Once Upon December’, a remarkable song and foretaste of the highly anticipated new album.

‘Once Upon December’ is available for immediate Streaming and Download:  https://blackmoresnight.lnk.to/OnceUponDecember

Watch the video here:

The ten new tracks make for a remarkable new record – one that could only have been written by Candice Night and Ritchie Blackmore. Once again, the duo is successfully mixing the tradition of Folk music and the love for the Renaissance era with their style, inspired by the myths and legends of ancient times.

“The story of “Nature’s Light” is the story of nature being the true queen and the simplicity and magic of everyday miracles that happen right before your eyes”, says Candice Night. “If you feel stagnant or repressed in your surroundings, it is important to take a break from the mundane and go where your heart leads you. It allows you to recharge and begin again with fresh and renewed energy. For some it is the ocean, for some the woods, for some feeling the sun on your face. Our music is an escape from the stress and pressure of modern times. Journey back through time with us, to a simpler, magical time where music enters your heart and soul.”

Transcend time with Blackmore’s Night to a world with no stress, just the beauty of nature, and fairy tales, sunsets and moonlit skies. Welcome to the Blackmore’s Night family. Immerse yourself in their ethereal music.

While the album is rooted in a traditional approach, fans of Ritchie Blackmore’s unique style will once again not be disappointed. Heartfelt ballads such as a brand-new version of ‘Wish You Were Here’ set the scene for magical tales on ‘Four Winds’ and ‘The Twisted Oak’. For the two instrumental tracks – ‘Darker Shade Of Black’ and ‘Der letzte Musketier’ – Ritchie shows that his brilliance on the guitar is still magic as it always was.

On March 12th,2021, the band’s new studio album “Nature’s Light” will be released on multiple formats on earMUSIC. Among these is a Strictly Limited 2CD Hardcover Mediabook Edition including a bonus CD featuring a carefully selected set of Blackmore’s Night’s masterpieces from their extensive back catalogue. Furthermore, the album will become available as a CD Digipak Edition, a Strictly Limited Heavyweight 1LP Gatefold Edition on Yellow Vinyl, a 180g 1LP Gatefold Edition on Black Vinyl as well as Digital.

The release of HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY‘s new album “Mӕre” is getting closer and while a truly desolate year is drawing to a close, the Austrian pioneers of post black metal seize the moment to return with another gloomy work of art.

With ‘And Oceans Between Us’, they present a surprisingly catchy single off their upcoming fifth studio album – “Mӕre” will see the light of day on January 29th (February 19th in the US) and is about to unveil 84 minutes of melancholic post rock, crippling depression and black metal.

Singer J.J. comments on the new song: “Sometimes you meet a person you believe to be your soulmate, a person that can cure all the pains of previous heartbreaks. You think: ‘This is the person that will save me from this cold and lonely world’, just when starting to realise after some times, this person became the ailment as well and her words became poison.”
