The Culture Industry is an Australian Punk-Grunge band from the sunny South Coast of NSW. Based in Wollongong these larrikins have been kicking around since 2014, and after a few line-up changes the band currently consists of Gnarly on rhythm guitar/ lead vocals, Nagy on bass/vocals, Leemoss on drums/vocals and new addition Arrian shredding on lead guitar like it’s nobody’s business. 

Having known each other for almost 20 years, and from also playing in previous bands together, T.C.I. have developed an intense chemistry both on and off the stage, solidifying a strong reputation in the underground scene. 

With a DIY hardworking ethos, these middle-aged-kids have played internationally abroad and even more at home around Sydney, Canberra, and the East Coast of Australia. With onstage banter that is as much a part of their live show as their music, these charismatic scumbags are always keen for a laugh and a good time. Play hard. Party hard. It’s time to get Cultured in the Industrial sense of the word!!

A boisterous, uncontrollable thrash/death metal assault led by the four women of NERVOSA strikes another raging round with the release of their second single, “Perpetual Chaos”, cut from their upcoming full-length of the same name, out on January 22, 2021 via Napalm Records.

Along with a stunning lyric video, the powerhouse quartet delivers an undeniable round-house kick of uncompromising thrash and death metal elements, illuminating listeners worldwide with their bold and thought-provoking lyricism denouncing social evils. Their brand-new offering showcases the extremely multifaceted and indefatigably brutal vocal power off their new singer Diva Satanica, guided by the massive axe attack off founding member Prika Amaral and thundering support of Mia Wallace on bass and Eleni Nota on drums.

FUCKED AND BOUND Unveil Music Video For “Terror”

Despite the name, Seattle’s FUCKED AND BOUND feel fundamentally untethered. They’ve achieved an air of unhinged freedom mainly by thrashing their way through unassuming, beloved punk venues, writhing across unwashed floors and DIY spaces, hosting their own sort of hardcore communal exorcisms. Today, the group is proud to premiere their brand new and energetic music video for the track “Terror”.

Lisa Mungo (vocals) comments:
“Terror is an angsty, piss-driven track that seethes of existential dread and vexation towards the systems and constructs by which we are bound. Ruminating on nihilism and the hell that inevitably comes with it, ‘Terror’ drills right into the band’s wheelhouse – buzzsaw riffs, cannonball basslines, and gravel-truck vocals. We will be the death of us‘”

The band on “Antropocene” EP:
We wrote “Antropocene” to awaken the consciences of a dormant society, trying to convey a message that highlights the problems of today’s world. The term “anthropocene” in fact indicates the geological era in which we live, where the human being is the main agent of macrochange on the Earth, at the climatic level and beyond. The combination of our ambitions, our problems, our smallest and largest actions is slowly throwing our planet into a spiral of deterioration that will soon deprive us of our home. It is precisely to denounce and inform of these inconveniences that we have decided to compose and publish the songs that are part of this record, in the hope that even a few people listening to it can reflect on their behavior. As for the musical plan, our lyrics are born from the deep admiration for the greatest Italian songwriters and are accompanied by aggressive instrumentals, deriving mainly from old school metal. Despite this, we always try to enrich and modernize our songs with different elements, both in terms of composition and sound. We thank our producer Sebastiano Di Martino, with whom we recorded our first demos and subsequently also the tracks of the album, working side by side for months. We also thank Mr. Jack of Wanikiya Record, who takes care of the promotion, and Lidienne Cangiano, author of the graphics of Antropocene.

EYEHATEGOD Return To Century Media Records, New Album “A History Of Nomadic Behavior” Coming In Spring 2021

EYEHATEGOD, “the quintessential Southern sludge band” (Pitchfork) that Rolling Stone dubbed one of “America’s great live bands,” have returned to Century Media Records, with an eye towards a Spring 2021 release for the band’s first album in seven years: A History of Nomadic Behavior (date TBA).

A joint statement from the band on the band and label reunion: “EyeHateGod are pleased to announce we’ve signed a licensing deal with Century Media Records USA and Europe…! We welcome the new changes along with the new year coming, and want this union to benefit everyone involved, especially our rabid and disturbed fans across the globe!”

“We’re happy to announce solidifying our worldwide relationship with EyeHateGod,” added Director of Century Media Records, Phillipp Schulte. “While Century Media has worked with the guys in the past, we’re excited to begin a new chapter with a record that easily ranks amongst this hard-working, heavy-touring band’s best. We are very much looking forward to releasing EyeHateGod’s A Historic of Nomadic Behavior.”

“EyeHateGod are survivors on every level,” says Century Media Records Vice President of A&R, Mike Gitter. “Since 1988 they’ve been part of the framework of extreme music and A History of Nomadic Behavior will be no exception.
