Metal Blade Records is proud to welcome Brooklyn’s SANHEDRIN to its worldwide roster!
Formed in 2015, Sanhedrin have released two albums to-date: A Funeral For The World (2017) and The Poisoner (2019). The trio (which consists of former Amber Asylum/Lost Goat bassist/vocalist Erica Stoltz, Black Anvil guitarist Jeremy Sosville and drummer Nathan Honor) blends doom and classic metal into gripping, instantaneously memorable songs with lyrics that delve into the darker elements of humanity and the cyclical nature of destructive ideas. Thought-provoking and inherently catchy at the same time, Sanhedrin is unafraid to venture into unchartered territory.
The band will enter the studio to record their third full-length – and Metal Blade Records debut – in spring 2021.
Sanhedrin comments: “We are excited and humbled to join Metal Blade Records! Their legacy spans four decades and countless amazing artists, many of whom have inspired us over the years. We are proud to be part of its future, and look forward to what this new partnership will bring for Sanhedrin.”
Hailing from Denver, Colorado MESSIAHVORE have released their new single Blood and Gutsvia Coffin & Bolt / Golden Robot Records.
Blood and Gutsis a powerhouse track, highlighting the bands driving stoner / doom metal hybrid output. It echoes of contemporaries like High On Fire, DownConan and Baroness.
Blood and Guts is the first single off of MESSIAHVORE’s debut upcoming self-titled release. It’s heavy, driving, short and to the point. Perhaps you think this song is about gore? You’d be dead wrong. ‘lood and Guts is about putting yourself out in the world and giving it your all. Face the judgment and ridicule good or bad. Give my blood and guts! Take my all!
MESSIAHVORE were only formed in mid-2018. However, collectively members have been working the Denver scene for years. Bart McCrorey started out in the punk rock outfit St James Gate then joined the local skate rock favourite Frontside Five. Bart played lead guitar and co-fronted the band for a 10-year stent. Jenn began playing bass when asked to join The Blackouts in 2008. The all-female hard rock band that still plays in Denver today. Jenn and Bart asked long-time friend Bailey Cecil to play drums for them. Bailey had a strong background in the stoner and doom scene in the area hailing from fronting Bronze on guitar and drumming in Core of the Earth. Kevin Disney was the first and only guitarist the band tried out. They knew him from a band called The Worth. Kevin supplies an excellent amount of weird mixed with sonic knowhow.
The intent of MESSIAHVORE was to play heavy groove intensive rock that draws from their favorite stoner, doom, and whatever else that is sonically pleasing to them.
It was a fast start for the band, opening for Fu Manchu, Sasquatch, Nebula, Daikaiju and were slated to play with Lord Dying then the COVID hit the states. You know the rest of that story. This led to them buckling down and writing a seven song EP. The band signed to Coffin & Bolt Records which is incorporated with the international mainstay Golden Robot Records.
New drummer Brokk Dagaz and Bart met while recording a band at Bart’s studio The Crash Pad. After working with Brokk, Bart took note and tapped him for a collaboration project called The Bloodaxe released in 2018 that featured Bart on most all the strings and Brokk on drums. The collaboration part was 14 of Colorado’s aggressive vocalist writing and performing on the release. After this venture it was clear that Brokk would be hit up in the future and fortunately he was available and willing to step in.
Brokk comes from a Philadelphia death metal band Nefarious. The dude has chops for days and easily adapted to MESSIAHVORE’s driving style. He has great feel and grooves the shit out of the riffs. A fan of classic metal and an open mind to music, he was the perfect fit to solidify the line-up.

Steve stated: “Check out this Entombed A.D. cover jam!!! It was part of the Metal Injection – Slay At Home show. Really cool to jam together with these guys and cover some old school death metal. Entombed was a big influence on me in the early days; the 1st album as well as the Nihilist demo. You can hear that influence in some of the stuff I wrote on Sadus – Swallowed In Black. You probably know by now, the singer of Entombed A.D., Lars Petrov is not doing very well. He’s still in the hospital in Stockholm doing chemotherapy for a brutal cancer. I want to dedicate this video and my performance to LG. One of the nicest guys, and a funny dude. Hoping this tribute can shine a tiny light in a dark place. SDG🤘🏻”
Please Note, STEVE DI GIORGIO is available for studio sessions as well as session bassist for tours. For further information, please contact Alpha Omega Management.

Hailing from Dayton, Ohio ABERTOOTH LINCOLN are an aggressive, spacey hardcore progressive punk band. Their music is heavy, weird, complicated and can flip genres within seconds. But the bottom line is they are unique and refreshing. On the back of their recent single and video Hell House, ABERTOOTH LINCOLN have dropped a new single Soup For My Family via Riot Records. Again, it is another tour de force of musical innovation.
“This song is a response to the violent and subversive actions taken by undercover federal officers, police and right-wing militia against BLM protesters during the summer of 2020 in US cities. In Portland, Oregon people were literally pulled off of the street and forced into unmarked cars for simply protesting. The military sought to use heat ray guns against protesters in DC in September. Federal troops were sent into cities, and there are countless, documented examples of “mysterious people” taking actions to discredit the movement, doing things such as “brick baiting” or vandalizing property in an effort to distort the story and incite further destruction that could then be blamed on the protests. Then you have police gassing the streets to make way for Trump to stand in front of a church, bible in hand, for a photo shoot. Sounds like some ‘Escape from New York’ level fiction, but it’s really happening. This is our very angry song about it.” – ABERTOOTH LINCOLN
Watch the official video for previous single Hell HouseHERE
ABERTOOTH LINCOLN‘s music is heavy, weird, complicated, and they will destroy the stage with glittery space pants and 80’s glam metal vibes. Their lyrics bounce between biting satire and direct, harsh social commentary, delivered with commanding energy from front person Edith Coleslaw aka Ashley Pooler. You will not forget this band.
“Everyone in attendance was entirely floored by the sheer energy and powerful voice of Ashley Pooler and the brutality of the rest of the band.” – Razorcake
The ability to do all of this seamlessly has always impressed me on record, and left my jaw hanging open more than once when I’ve seen them live.” – Punknews.org
“The fact that they deliver their message surfing on a groundswell of churning space-jazz and straight-up hostel noise really sealed the deal for me. They’re welcome back to Chicago any time as far as I’m concerned. And if they want to start some fires next time they’re in town, that’s fine too.” – Chicago Crowd Surfer
Up-and-coming British hard rockers INGLORIOUS have announced the release of their fourth studio album, “We Will Ride” on February 12, 2021. The first time the band’s current line-up recorded an album together will be one they certainly won’t forget as they entered the studio in the middle of UK’s COVID-19 lockdown. Staying mindful of the six foot rule as much as reasonably possible, they set about crafting their love letter to rock ‘n roll and hard rock. Recorded in Cardiff with the renowned producer Romesh Gogandoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Motörhead), this album sees the band renewed and rejuvenated.
“The writing for this album was honestly the most pleasurable and relaxed experience I have had as a writer,” says vocalist Nathan James. “We had so much fun and made sure not to force the songs that weren’t working. One of my favourite songs, ‘She Won’t Let You Go,’ was actually written by Danny and myself before he was even in the band.”“I had a lot of time to think about what I wanted to write about on this album due to Covid-19 pushing the recording back twice. I chose to write about things that have inspired me in the last two years. Like everyone right now, I am consuming much more TV than usual, in the form of dark and sinister Netflix documentaries mostly. These have definitely inspired the stories this time around. As far as the sound of the album and the recording process, it was very different than anything this band has done before. Recording with this line up for the first time and also it was our first time ever working with a producer. Romesh Dodangoda has really made this album sound unlike anything we have created before and the new guys have brought influences to our music that I’m super excited to show everyone,” concludes James.
“To me, this album is a snapshot of the combined musical expression we’ve created over the last couple of years, all in one place. It’s amazing to think a lot of these ideas were developed in our homes and on tour. To hear them as finished songs is a fantastic feeling. I’m so proud to be part of this album with these world class musicians, and fantastic friends too. I hope everyone enjoys the album as much as we enjoyed making it. I’m proud to say that my first ever album will be, Inglorious’ “We Will Ride,” says guitarist Danny Dela Cruz. Adds drummer Phil Beaver, “I feel like the circumstances actually made this recording session really special. We’d all been in lockdown due to the pandemic and hadn’t seen anyone outside of our own homes for months. It was so much fun to not only be playing music again, but socialising as a band and having fun, whilst practicing social distancing as best we could. We laughed like little kids all day, every day!”
Continues Beaver, “It was great working with Romesh! We’ve never worked with a producer before. He really helped whip us into shape. As we’d had no pre-production, we just went straight in. The way in which we tracked this record meant that this wasn’t a problem. We tracked all of the instruments individually, as most bands do these days. Meaning that the pressure of getting that golden take as a whole band was off. We worked through things, and picked apart the songs as we went along. Romesh is a great producer. He didn’t wanna do it all his way, but rather work as part of the team to achieve what I think is the bands best work.”
“I’m so proud of how this album has turned out. The writing sessions were so organic and we even have a song on the album that was born from a soundcheck riff on the first tour we did together. The chemistry within the band was there from the start and I think it shows in the music. It was a challenging experience recording an album during a lockdown with no pre-production, but the way Romesh works really brought out the best in us. I can’t wait to share this album with everyone, and especially to play these songs live,” adds guitarist Dan Stevens.“Recording the album during these crazy times we are facing was definitely one of the most challenging and amazing experiences I’ve ever been through. I’m so proud to be able to record such a high standard album with the most talented musicians and producer ever,” says bassist Vinnie Colla.
