DARK TRANQUILLITY will be performing their upcoming album “Moment” live in its entirety at Gothenburg’s famed venue Stora Teatern. The full show will be streamed online on Saturday November 21 at 20:00 Central European Time, only one day after the release of the new album.

Mikael Stanne comments: “We are thrilled to announce that we are doing a show! We will be performing our new album in it’s entirety the day after it’s release straight from Storan here in the heart of Gothenburg. And we want you all to join us via the stream. This of course is the weirdest time we as a band have been through and to release an album without going out around the world to play it is nothing short of heartbreaking. But knowing that you guys are at home, staying safe and turning our stream up to the appropriate metal levels will let us know that you’re out there and will make this night truly special for us. This being as close as we can physically get to you all this year we aim to make the most of it. We have a full production show prepared  for you on the most beautiful stage in the city and having you with us through the technical magic of streaming means the world to us. It’s been four years since the (Swedish) Grammy-nominated album, “Atoma,” but the time between was creative, innovative, and adventurous. HURRICANE ON SATURN is a new Italy-based project started in 2019 by musicians coming from various musical genres with both national and international live/studio experience, named Dakm, Maydx, Antares, Rastaban, Menkib. The proposal out of any classification is based on a unique use of electronics combined with rock and metal influences.

Drummer Giulio Galati of Italian experimental prog outfit NERO DI MARTE has shared the brand new drum play-through for the song “La Casa del Diavolo!” The track is taken from the band’s latest album, ‘Immoto,’ which was released on January 24, 2020. The video can be viewed at THIS LOCATION.

CLIFFORD Return With Take On US Election ‘You’re Fired! (By a lot)’

From the label that gave you the metal version of Greta Thunberg‘s United Nations speech “How Dare You” and CLIFFORD‘s metal tribute to another great Swedish personality, some even say he should be named ‘Swede of the year‘; the state epidemiologist of Sweden Mr. Anders Tegnell.

“You’re Fired! (By a Lot)” tells the story of one man’s fall, all the way down from his very own Trump Tower golden escalator, to the parking lot of a landscape decorator, a cremation center and an adult bookshop (with viewing booths, supposedly for the avid reader). 

Heavy metal’s premiere contemporary analysis duo CLIFFORD returns with this blistering track, recalling and dissecting a fraction of the madness that emanated from this man over the past four years.

We bring you the two brothers behind the band CLIFFORD who released their debut single ‘All Makt åt Tegnell‘ (Swedish version) in May and it’s organically exploded with over 25 000 views on Youtube, getting airplay and discussed on Sweden’s largest morning show on national public radio ‘P3 Morgonpasset‘ and getting press coverage from Swedish music magazine GAFFA and Aftonbladet. Thanks to the success, the  Clifford brothers signed a record deal with Despotz Records. 

With this varied palette, Clifford steps forward and delivers their version of contemporary analysis – with pure hard rock. The official lyric video for “You’re Fired! (By a Lot)” is out now, and will be followed by a digital single in the days to come for streaming/download.

INGESTED Announce Debut EP Remix/Master Release; ‘Butchered and Devoured’ Track Streaming

Kings of British death metal INGESTED have announced the release of debut EP Stinking Cesspool of Liquefied Human Remnants, remixed and mastered. The band are also streaming the lead track from the record ‘Butchered and Devoured’.

Deleted before the release of debut album Surpassing the Boundaries of Human Suffering, the EP features the original recordings of songs which later made it to the full-length. Recorded just five months after the band formed in May 2006, this EP release marks the band’s 15 year anniversary.

Drummer Lyn Jeffs commented: “To celebrate our 15 year anniversary as a band we’re stoked to announce we are releasing a completely remixed and remastered version of our sought after 2006 EP, Stinking Cesspool of Liquefied Human Remnants, which originally featured on our debut split CD release North-West Slam Fest. This is a must have for fans who wants a piece of INGESTED history and is a great way for newer listeners to delve into our roots and experience our early sound.”

With a huge-sounding modern mix and master, Stinking Cesspool of Liquefied Human Remnants is great snapshot into the band’s early sound for a seasoned fan, as well as a great intro to the band’s roots for a new listener. Recorded and engineered in October 2006 by Simon “Ding” Archer at 6dB Studios, Manchester, England, it was remixed, remastered and edited by Nico Beninato at Kimera Recordings, Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

FANG Release New Single And Video ‘Minneapolis’

FANG were among the leaders in the West Coast’s hardcore scene, and were part of early East Bay punk rock scene. FANG were established in Berkeley, California, United States, in 1980. FANG are back with a blistering new single and video Minneapolis via Die Laughing Records. FANG dropped their latest album Rise Up! in 2019.

“On Thursday May 28th, 2020 the 3rd precinct of the Minneapolis police dept. was set on fire and burned by protesters following the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis cops. This and many other recent and historic events are the impetus for the new Fang song Minneapolis. There is, and has been, a war going on for far too long in America and every citizen, every person with a voice and a body needs to rise up and join the fight. This song is a call to arms and a condemnation of the diseased history of the United States and the continued systemic racism that exists.”  – Sammytown (Fang)

Fang is an influential San Francisco Bay Area / Long Beach based band established 1980 in the hardcore scene of Berkeley, CA. Current line up is original front man Sam McBride (Sammytown) on vocals along with Obadiah Bowling and Tommy Knox on guitar, bass player Brandon Brown and drummer Mike 86. 

Among the leaders in the West Coast’s hardcore scene, Fang has influenced many bands and many high-profile bands have covered Fang material. Mudhoney, the Butthole Surfers, Metallica, and Nirvana all covered The Money Will Roll Right In, and I Wanna Be On TV was covered by Green Day. Founding guitarist Tom Flynn‘s distinct guitar playing has also influenced many followers, including those in the grunge genre. 

And while we can’t claim Fang is the ‘hardest working band in show biz’, we do know that they are one of the most enduring and productive hardcore bands ever!
