We know you’ve been waiting for this – the next quarantine clip from New York City hardcore legends SICK OF IT ALL!

While everybody is dying to see live-shows the band filmed a series of live clips – straight in their homes! After releasing “Alone”, “The Bland Within”, “Paper Tiger” and the recent “Hardcore Horseshoe”, this week is bringing you “Never Back Down” taken from “The Last Act Of Defiance”:

Dvne comments: “Due to the chaos that Covid19 has provided the whole music industry in 2020, our new full-length album will be released in spring 2021 alongside a string of tour dates. However, as we know our fans have been waiting patiently for new material, we’ve decided in the meantime to release this EP that links old and new together, and these two tracks do exactly that.
‘Omega Severer’ is the first glimpse of our upcoming album and its universe. It is a track that captures a lot of new elements for us, especially with the introduction of synth as a more prominent feature in the band.
‘Of Blade and Carapace’ is a recent re-recording of a track from our 2015 ‘Aurora Majesty‘ EP. This track has always been special to us, so this EP is the perfect opportunity to share this fresh take of the song with you all.
We’d like to also take this opportunity to thank our new label Metal Blade Records for their constant support throughout what has been a difficult year for the whole music industry.
We can’t wait to share everything we have planned with you next year, and we’ll see you out on the road in 2021.”

Founded in 2013, Dvne (pronounced Dune) is a 5-piece progressive rock/metal band from Edinburgh, Scotland. With highly dynamic compositions venturing from delicate and intricate melodies to crushing and brutal soundscapes, Dvne‘s music takes its listeners through a deeply emotional journey filled with dystopian thematics, grand narrative, and other-worldly landscapes. They emerged within the UK scene with their first EP Progenitor (2013 – Wasted State Records), shortly followed by a second EP, Aurora Majesty (2014 – Sea of Corruption Records). At their releases, both EPs received very favorable receptions, with reviewers calling their releases “Progressive metal at its best” (This Is Not A Scene – US) and “Stunning and majestic” (Nine Hertz – UK).

Dvne quickly began to make a name for themselves in the UK and around Europe, with various shows throughout these territories alongside the likes of Eyehategod, Crowbar, Dragged Into Sunlight, among others. The band’s sound at the time was already crossing over different music styles, including post-metal, progressive rock and sludge metal, but it is with their first full-length album, Asheran (Wasted State Records), that the band further established their unique blend of heavy music. Released in August 2017, Asheran was overwhelmingly praised by the press and was listed on many “best album of the year” lists.

Since Asheran‘s release, Dvne has toured all over the UK, Europe and North America, appearing at prestigious festivals such as Psycho Las Vegas, Desertfest London and Inferno Festival Norway. Not content to repeat their previous releases and always looking to push their sound forward, Dvne‘s upcoming sophomore album promises to be another stunning chapter in the band’s history.

DEATH DEALER, led by ROSS THE BOSS has issued a new lyric video, ‘EVERY NATION,” off their forthcoming 3rd record, CONQUERED LANDS – to be released worldwide November 13, 2020, through STEEL CARTEL. 

The all-star heavy metal roster of DEATH DEALER features the aforementioned ROSS THE BOSS (ex-MANOWAR), Sean Peck: vocals (CAGE, THE THREE TREMORS, DENNER/SHERMANN), Stu Marshall: guitar (DUNGEON, NIGHT LEGION), Steve Bolognese: drums (ROSS THE BOSS BAND, INTO ETERNITY), and newly added bass player extraordinaire Mike Lepond (SYMPHONY-X, ROSS THE BOSS BAND).

It is almost like DEATH DEALER could see the future when they wrote this song 4 years ago, as “EVERY NATION” asks the question, “What would the world be like if everyone was a metal head?” And the answer is found within this inspiring song and music video. It is times like these that we need to come together and the spirit of heavy metal can do just that.

Sean: “It is kind of weird that I wrote these lyrics 4 years ago and the video was scheduled to come out now in the middle of a turbulent time of division. The song represents how I feel that the metal community that it is an evolved society compared to others. If I see someone with an Iron Maiden shirt on at the store I say hey what is up and throw them the horns. I do not care about any of the things that could divide us. I just know we are both metal loving maniacs and that is the number one thing for me. People say it is a lifestyle off the cuff but it really is.”

Ross: “The song is really rocking and has a strong message too. Music is a uniter and the video captured the concept perfectly. This whole album is filled with great songs like this one I am really proud of it. So support heavy metal and pick it up!”

Stu: “I was hoping this track would get picked as one of the songs to do a video for. I always liked how it came together when Sean and I wrote it. This track is one I am sure we will be working into the live set in the future.”

Mike: “Sean and Stu let me be as creative as I wanted on the album. They just set me loose and trusted me 100%. This style of metal is right up my alley. It’s where my playing is at its best. The level of talent in this band is off the charts. These guys push me to the edge and I love it.”

EN MINOR Announce Exclusive Livestream From Historic Orpheum Theater In New Orleans November 25th

EN MINOR – the Southern gothic/dark Americana project led by Philip H. Anselmo (Down, Pantera, Scour, etc.) – have confirmed a special livestream later this month.

Set to take place on November 25th at 6:00pm Central/7:00pm Eastern with on-demand replays through November 29th, the eight-camera, cinematic experience will find the ensemble performing at the historic Orpheum Theater in New Orleans, Louisiana. Built in 1918, and opened for Vaudeville in 1921, the magnificent Beaux-Arts-style building went on to host silent movies, “talkies,” live music, and much more. The auditorium is currently the home of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and is prized for its acoustical purity. The theater is an example of “vertical hall” construction, initially built to provide perfect sight lines and acoustics for Vaudeville shows which didn’t have the benefit of amplifiers or modern lighting.
