BAD WOLVES Release ‘THE RETALIATORS’- Themed Music Video For Rock Radio Hit “Learn To Walk Again”

Global rock sensation, BAD WOLVES release the new music video for their song “Learn To Walk Again”, from THE RETALIATORS movie soundtrack. The track, off of their sophomore album, N.A.T.I.O.N. is also currently #11 on the Active Rock charts.

The music video contains footage from the film, in which members of Bad Wolves, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch and a lot more, are featured. THE RETALIATORS, reaching theatres in Spring 2021, is a high-octane horror-thriller in which a Pastor and father has to choose between turning the other cheek and taking bloody revenge.

Vocalist Tommy Vext talks about ‘Learn to Walk Again’: “This song is about changing your life. All of us in the band and other people I am close to were going through a lot of changes when we wrote it. We had been going through these trials and tribulations over the last couple of years and the future was unknown. Sometimes you need to be brought to your knees and be willing to try anything to find your way to where you need to be.  ‘Learn To Walk Again’ isn’t my story, it is OUR story.”

Bad Wolves includes vocalist Tommy Vext (ex-Divine Heresy), drummer John Boecklin (ex-Devildriver), guitarist Doc Coyle (ex-God Forbid), guitarist Chris Cain (Bury Your Dead), and bassist Kyle Konkiel (ex-In This Moment). They released their debut album, Disobeyin May 2018, via Better Noise Music, which reached #22 on the Billboard Top 200, #2 on the Hard Rock Chart, #4 on Rock, and #8 on the Top Current Albums Chart. In 2019, they continued that momentum with their sophomore album, N.A.T.I.O.N. The stunning 12-track follow-up to their debut album, Disobey, is a bit of a departure – staying in the same realm musically, but breaking beyond. N.A.T.I.O.N. came in at #1 upon its release on the Top Hard Rock, Current Hard Rock and Billboard Hard Rock charts, and has yielded two #1 singles at Active Rock Radio – Sober and Killing Me Slowly.

Their global breakout single, “Zombie,” is platinum in the U.S. and Sweden, double platinum in Canada, gold in Australia and IMPALA Diamond in Europe. The track has topped charts worldwide, including the U.S. iTunes overall and rock charts, Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart, Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart, while also reigning atop the Active Rock radio chart for three straight weeks. The official music video for “Zombie,” a tribute to the late singer Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries and an homage to the original, has garnered over 255 million viewsacross platforms. On June 19th, 2018, Bad Wolves presented a $250,000 check to Dolores O’Riordan’s four children, with a continued promise to donate all of their royalties from the song to them.

Dvne comments: “Due to the chaos that Covid19 has provided the whole music industry in 2020, our new full-length album will be released in spring 2021 alongside a string of tour dates. However, as we know our fans have been waiting patiently for new material, we’ve decided in the meantime to release this EP that links old and new together, and these two tracks do exactly that.
‘Omega Severer’ is the first glimpse of our upcoming album and its universe. It is a track that captures a lot of new elements for us, especially with the introduction of synth as a more prominent feature in the band.
‘Of Blade and Carapace’ is a recent re-recording of a track from our 2015 ‘Aurora Majesty‘ EP. This track has always been special to us, so this EP is the perfect opportunity to share this fresh take of the song with you all.

Founded in 2013, Dvne (pronounced Dune) is a 5-piece progressive rock/metal band from Edinburgh, Scotland. With highly dynamic compositions venturing from delicate and intricate melodies to crushing and brutal soundscapes, Dvne‘s music takes its listeners through a deeply emotional journey filled with dystopian thematics, grand narrative, and other-worldly landscapes. They emerged within the UK scene with their first EP Progenitor (2013 – Wasted State Records), shortly followed by a second EP, Aurora Majesty (2014 – Sea of Corruption Records). At their releases, both EPs received very favorable receptions, with reviewers calling their releases “Progressive metal at its best” (This Is Not A Scene – US) and “Stunning and majestic” (Nine Hertz – UK).

Dvne quickly began to make a name for themselves in the UK and around Europe, with various shows throughout these territories alongside the likes of Eyehategod, Crowbar, Dragged Into Sunlight, among others. DEATH DEALER, led by ROSS THE BOSS has issued a new lyric video, ‘EVERY NATION,” off their forthcoming 3rd record, CONQUERED LANDS – to be released worldwide November 13, 2020, through STEEL CARTEL. 

The all-star heavy metal roster of DEATH DEALER features the aforementioned ROSS THE BOSS (ex-MANOWAR), Sean Peck: vocals (CAGE, THE THREE TREMORS, DENNER/SHERMANN), Stu Marshall: guitar (DUNGEON, NIGHT LEGION), Steve Bolognese: drums (ROSS THE BOSS BAND, INTO ETERNITY), and newly added bass player extraordinaire Mike Lepond (SYMPHONY-X, ROSS THE BOSS BAND).

It is almost like DEATH DEALER could see the future when they wrote this song 4 years ago, as “EVERY NATION” asks the question, “What would the world be like if everyone was a metal head?” And the answer is found within this inspiring song and music video. It is times like these that we need to come together and the spirit of heavy metal can do just that.

Sean: “It is kind of weird that I wrote these lyrics 4 years ago and the video was scheduled to come out now in the middle of a turbulent time of division. The song represents how I feel that the metal community that it is an evolved society compared to others. If I see someone with an Iron Maiden shirt on at the store I say hey what is up and throw them the horns. I do not care about any of the things that could divide us. I just know we are both metal loving maniacs and that is the number one thing for me. People say it is a lifestyle off the cuff but it really is.”

Ross: “The song is really rocking and has a strong message too. Music is a uniter and the video captured the concept perfectly. This whole album is filled with great songs like this one I am really proud of it. So support heavy metal and pick it up!”

Stu: “I was hoping this track would get picked as one of the songs to do a video for. I always liked how it came together when Sean and I wrote it. This track is one I am sure we will be working into the live set in the future.”

Mike: “Sean and Stu let me be as creative as I wanted on the album. They just set me loose and trusted me 100%. This style of metal is right up my alley. It’s where my playing is at its best. The level of talent in this band is off the charts. These guys push me to the edge and I love it.”
