Happy (Early) Halloween From THE PRETTY RECKLESS

The Platinum-selling THE PRETTY RECKLESS have unleashed a creepy and cool Halloween track “Broomsticks“, watch it below.

And stay tuned for some very important updates from TPR after you’ve consumed your Halloween candy…

The Pretty Reckless formed in New York City during 2008, and the musicians and late producer Kato Khandwala initially made waves with their 2010 debut Light Me Up. After countless gigs, the band returned with Going To Hell in 2014. Not only did the record crash the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200, but it also ignited three #1 hits —the Platinum-certified “Heaven Knows” (the biggest rock song of 2014), “Fucked Up World,” and “Follow Me Down”— a feat that had not been accomplished by a female-fronted group since The Pretenders in 1984. Meanwhile, their third offering, Who You Selling For, saw them return to #1 on the Mainstream Rock Songs Chart with “Take Me Down,” which cemented them as “the first band to send its first four singles to #1 on the chart,” according to Billboard. Praise followed from Vogue, Nylon, and more as the quartet lit up television shows such as Letterman and Conan. With over half-a-billion streams, they headlined countless sold out shows and toured with Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden, and many other heavy hitters. Their latest single “Death By Rock And Roll” is the fifth No. 1 single of The Pretty Reckless’ career and has been heralded by Paper, Loudwire, CNN, Forbes, and more. The band also has the incredible and impressive distinction of being the first female-fronted band to have back-to-back No. 1 singles at the active rock format and the first female-fronted act to have five No. 1 singles on the Billboard chart.

“Diversity in Extremes” – Century Media Records has always stayed true to their original motto offering a diverse range of extreme music. In 2020 this means another facet by throwing the London based Trap Metal artist MIMI BARKS into the mix.

MIMI BARKS kicked off her career in Berlin, where she started experimenting with a unique mix of Trap and Metal, adding her trademark ferocious and raspy vocals. After relocating to London in 2019, she finalized her debut-solo EP “Enter the Void” bursting through a male-dominated scene with female force. Century Media Records has always been a breeding ground for female artists, and we are more than happy to welcome another visionary who is oscillating between genres.

KEISER Reveal Second Single ‘Far From Human’

Black metal band from Norway, KEISER, will release the new album “Our Wretched Demise” on November 27th, 2020 via Non Serviam Records.

The band is glad to reveal the new single ‘Far From Human’. Listen to the song now here:

Stream/download ‘Far From Human’ here: smarturl.it/uyo2zc

KEISER say about the song: “‘Far From Human’ is an obvious choice for our second and final single before the release of ‘Our Wretched Demise’. While it’s short and to-the-point, it also hints at the more progressive and melodic elements that are on display on the rest of the album. It’s a song about the lack of empathy and responsibility shown by certain world leaders and war lords. Some of them certainly seem far from human at times.”

Listen also to the first single ‘Scourge of the Wicked’ here: https://youtu.be/PFLdH5mRR3A

Pre-orders of “Our Wretched Demise” are available here: Webshop:  CD – Vinyl

The track listing reads as follow:

  1. Prelude to War
  2. Scourge Of the Wicked
  3. Cannons of War
  4. When Fire Rides the Night Sky
  5. Shroud
  6. Far from Human
  7. The Fog
  8. Eternal Onslaught
  9. Our Wretched Demise

“Our Wretched Demise” is a listening experience, ranging from short, direct and fast to long, epic and progressive tracks. “We wanted to make an album where war is the general theme”, KEISER comment about the album. “The lyrics deal with different aspects of war, especially the human side of it.”

Formed in 2015, KEISER return with a new album after the 2016 EP “Ascension of Ghouls”, with a still raw and primitive sounding, and their full-length debut album “The Succubus” in 2017 which saw the band begin to tour and create a small but loyal fan base in their home country.

Colombian ESHTADUR Release New Single And Lyric Video “The Fall”

Colombian blackened death metallers ESHTADUR release new single and lyric video “The Fall” today – watch the video HERE! The track touches upon themes of suicide and depression, and is taken from their critically acclaimed, new album “From The Abyss”. The band has commented: “’The Fall’ is a song about this particular matter. Depression and anxiety make ourselves to behave as our mortal enemies, inside our heads, and sometimes it goes out of control, then suicide is considered. So, as a voice of support for that theme, the video provides a message to allow people to get conscious of this matter, mental health matters, plus, there are some helplines provided, and a message of support could make a difference.”

Eshtadur’s latest album “From The Abyss” is releasedvia Blood Blast Distribution (Believe Digital x Nuclear Blast) and available worldwide on all streaming services! Listen to the album in its entirety here  https://backl.ink/142602231

ESHTADUR, meaning the rebellion of angels, can be most closely likened to bands such as Septic Flesh, Behemoth, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Carach Angren, and the like. Like their scene counterparts, the band embodies a deathly melodic atmosphere that reaches into realms of darkness and despair through the decay of humanity. It seeks to rebel, in its darkened way, embracing the abject reality.

Dead Rhetoric (UK) stated that Eshtadur “have no problem going straight for the throat”, while TheSoundNotTheWord wrote that Eshtadur “hit hard” and that they have “a strong, muscular take on melo-death”.

Eshtadur launched in the Fall of 2005 releasing the ‘Timo Be Timo’ – the demo with a sound in the vein of At The Gates, Soilwork and Septicflesh. Since then, the Colombian metallers have released a pair of EP’s and a potent trio of critically acclaimed albums, earning them massive praise and awards, including the award for “Best Album” and “Best Music Video” at AMS Metal Awards Colombia in 2013.

Their rich touring history includes performances across Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. They have shared the stage and toured with Cradle of Filth, Vader, Graveworm, Coldblood, Abbadon Incarnate & more in shows over Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Latin America, USA and UK. They have been distributed across the world and even headlined a stage at Rock Al Parque in 2016.

Their 2017 release, via Bleeding Music Records, “Mother Gray” is an expression of planetary death and putrefaction. The scathing release saw the band touring 8 countries in Europe through 2018. Now the band is gearing up for their first-ever US dates and many more festival appearances in 2021!

JUDICATOR Release New Music Video For ‘Let There Be Light’

Power metal quartet, JUDICATOR, have today released a new music video for Let There Be Light, taken from their recently released album, Let There Be Nothing. The visually striking video draws from the album’s themes of high concept historical adventure centered around the story’s protagonist, Belisarius, a humble and renowned Byzantine general.

Let There Be Nothing is available on digital and physical formats now.

Watch the video for Let There Be Light below.

JUDICATOR is a revelation in the American power metal scene, gathering influences of raging teutonic power metal and classic heavy metal under an unmistakable melodic identity. Their latest single, Let There Be Light, solidifies their hard earned reputation as much revered kings of their craft.

“…mountainous power metal melodies with subtly progressive hooks and pastoral dips.” – Metal Hammer

“Every release from JUDICATOR continues to improve upon the last, and Let There Be Nothing feels like they’re at the top of their game…” – Nine Circles

“The songs themselves are all immaculately constructed and almost overburdened with hooks and melodic tricks, but where many power metal bands would keep it simple, JUDICATOR power forward with the brakes off, exuding a sense of otherworldly power and arcane heavy metal mastery…” – Blabbermouth

Let There Be Nothing – track list

  1. Let There Be Light
  2. Tomorrow’s Sun
  3. Strange to the World
  4. Autumn of Souls
  5. Gloria
  6. Amber Dusk
  7. The Way of a Pilgrim
  8. Let There Be Nothing
