Just recently the esteemed artist released a highly-charged lyric video for “World I Used To Know”. A fan favorite from Stapp’s comeback album, its personal lyrics and angst-ridden riffs cut deep, as arguments and unrest populate headlines and divide households.

The empowering, propulsive track is an observational critique that intentionally raises important questions as it seeks to be saved from “tomorrow’s sins.”

Stapp elaborates, “We’re all wondering what’s next and hoping we can quickly get back to the world we knew just seven months ago. As we mask up and maintain distance, it’s more important than ever to use your voice constructively. Your vote is your voice.”

Originally written in 2018 by Stapp, “World I Used To Know” is the opening track on The Space Between The Shadows, which debuted atop Rock and Album Charts in the US and UK in July 2019. Stapp’s first solo album in six years explores themes of rising above internal and external struggles.

“We are so excited to release this song. It’s a song that means a lot to us, and we are super proud of it. The song almost wrote itself – and that is a rare and beautiful thing, because it can’t be more pure than that. We really hope you like it as well.”

… and the band add on the video:
“When Corona hit us in the spring, we had this idea to make a live performance with a beautiful video and great sound. We wanted to make something better than the common live streams that we had done before. We wanted to make a music video for “I Never Meant To”, but a different kind of video – a live performance music video.”

Lyfe will drop on November 13 – enveloping you like a gentle lullaby and carrying you into the depths of the GO GO BERLIN universe!

The band states on the upcoming EP:
“‘Lyfe’ is focusing on changes, a band in constant motion. A band that is always searching for answers and ideas. Sometimes life hits you hard and sometimes you float – It’s a symbol for a new era in Go Go Berlin’s ‘lyfe’. We could not keep these songs in a drawer and wait to release them – They had to born!”

BENEDICTION: “Scriptures” Album Out Now, New Video “Iterations Of I” Unleashed

Today marks the release of “Scriptures”, the 8th studio recording from Death Metal Pioneers BENEDICTION from Birmingham, UK. This is the first new album since 2008 (produced by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studio in England), it`s available in your favorite store in several formats and you can stream it on any platform: http://nblast.de/Benediction-Scriptures

To celebrate the release the band drops a new single and video for the opening track “Iterations Of I”:

Darren Brookes gives some insights about the track:
“The last song Dave Ingram featured on in Benediction was ‘I’. That was the last song on “Grind Bastard”. The first song on ‘Scriptures ‘ is this one, ‘Iterations of I’ and it’s a continuation of that song and therefore was put first on the new album. I guess it’s a bridge between the two eras of Benediction with Dave at the helm. Plus it’s a cracker to open with, it’s got all of Benediction`s trademark qualities in one song, from fast and brutal to slow and powerful.”

The video was shot in an abandoned factory building in the outskirts of Sheffield, in the North of England and directed by Dan Hart / Light Engine Films.

A Perfect Day would like to thank for the access and use of the historical location of Palazzo Vitta:

The third born in the A PERFECT DAY family, entitled “With Eyes Wide Open” and delighted by the touch of the renowned producer Marco Barusso, allows the sound an impressively broader and more American-like airplay, as the band rediscovers a truly free-range and impetuous attitude. Ten intense, passionate and concise songs that definitively replace the late 80’s class metal influences with the more recent hard blues revival of Black Stone Cherry and Blackberry Smoke, keeping the mandatory alternative rock/post-grunge junction at the center of the band’s sound.
