Swedish heavy metallers LION’S SHARE have made a new song available on streaming services and digital service providers. Watch and stream below.

“In these strange days of Covid-19, we feel the time is right to give you a song with a positive touch. This is a song about you deciding your own destiny and that you can achieve whatever you want if you never give up, never take shit and believe in yourself,” says LION’S SHARE singer Nils Patrik Johansson.

In late 2018, LION’S SHARE released a new five-track EP, plus its complete catalog – remastered with new artwork – on streaming services and digital service providers for the first time. The band have since released a few more digital singles, some of which will and some of which won’t end up on the forthcoming full-length album.

LION’S SHARE guitarist Lars Chriss says: “We had big plans for 2020, with a new album and everything. We had just done our first couple of live shows in many years this past March in Germany when the Covid-19 put stop to it all.” 

Both Johansson and Chriss remark that they have always worked very well together, and at this point it feels the most natural to keep LION’S SHARE as a duo, with friends helping out wherever needed.

The LION’S SHARE catalog features appearances by members and ex-members of KISS, Megadeth, King Diamond, HammerFall, Symphony X, Chimaira, Therion, Yngwie Malmsteen band, Candlemass, etc.  Mixers include top engineers such as Jens Bogren (Arch Enemy, Opeth,  Symphony X, Amon Amarth) – Niklas Flyckt (one-time Grammy award winner and four-time nominee) and Ronny Lahti (Roxette, Europe, Glenn Hughes etc).

LION’S SHARE band have toured with bands like  Motörhead,  Manowar,  DIO, Saxon, Iced Earth,  Nevermore,  U.D.O. (ex-Accept), Dee Snider  (Twisted Sister) and have played many of the major rock and metal festivals.

Italian hard rockers DAMN FREAKS – a side project of Iacopo Meille, frontman & lead singer of Tygers of Pan Tang – are set to release their new album “Love in Stereo” next week, October 23rd, via Volcano Records.

Rising from the ashes of a previous band called FOOLS’ MOON, drummer and producer Matteo Panichi had started working on some ideas guitarist Marco Torri had sent him. Matteo asked Iacopo Meille, lead singer of Tygers of Pan Tang and ex member of Fools’ Moon – to join in and he suggested Claudio Rogai as bass player. A “Good ol’ party time rock’n’roll” band, that’s what DAMN FREAKS wanted to be from the start. Their debut album released in 2017 set the path, the new album Love in Stereo will prove their skill.

VOLBEAT have confirmed the release of Rewind, Replay, Rebound: Live In Deutschland, available digitally worldwide on November 27th via Republic Records. The new 27 song set features songs recorded during the sold-out German leg of last year’s Rewind, Replay, Rebound World Tour, along with two additional tracks recorded earlier on the tour. The album marks the first official live recordings of 11 songs from the band’s latest studio release, Rewind, Replay, Rebound as well as fan favorites from throughout the band’s career played in front of the their die-hard German fans in cities such as Stuttgart, Cologne and Hamburg. SCOTT STAPP Postpones European Tour

Grammy winning songwriter, solo artist, and voice of Creed, SCOTT STAPP has announced to postpone his long awaited European tour which was scheduled to take place this October/November.

Due to the ongoing global pandemic, the tour is now being pushed to early 2022, kicking of in Leeds, UK on February 10.

Just recently the esteemed artist released a highly-charged lyric video for “World I Used To Know”. A fan favorite from Stapp’s comeback album, its personal lyrics and angst-ridden riffs cut deep, as arguments and unrest populate headlines and divide households.

The empowering, propulsive track is an observational critique that intentionally raises important questions as it seeks to be saved from “tomorrow’s sins.” 

Stapp elaborates, “We’re all wondering what’s next and hoping we can quickly get back to the world we knew just seven months ago. As we mask up and maintain distance, it’s more important than ever to use your voice constructively. Your vote is your voice.”

Originally written in 2018 by Stapp, “World I Used To Know” is the opening track on The Space Between The Shadows, which debuted atop Rock and Album Charts in the US and UK in July 2019. Stapp’s first solo album in six years explores themes of rising above internal and external struggles.

GO GO BERLIN Release New Single and Video And Announce Upcoming EP

Danish alternative rock upstarts GO GO BERLIN will release a new EP, entitled Lyfe, on November 13 via Rodeostar Records / Napalm Records. 

The chart-breaking alternative rock group is one of Denmark’s strongest live acts and is now igniting their musical expertise with the new single “I Never Meant To”. The first single off their upcoming EP Lyfe offers a groovy bass and drum feeling, combined with 80’ synth vibes and heart wrenching, soft vocals.
