Leading up to the release of BLACKMORE’S NIGHT’s upcoming 4-track holiday EP “Here We Come A-Caroling”, the band, founded in 1997 by legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and award winning vocalist Candice Night, is revealing their second brand new holiday song and video ‘It Came Upon A Midnight Clear’.
This song is another beautiful interpretation of a classic Christmas carol to celebrate the holiday days with and is part of their holiday EP “Here We Come A-Caroling”, which will become available on December 4th, 2020, on Limited Edition 10” Translucent Green Vinyl as well as a Limited Edition CD Digipak and Digital.
Melbourne-based alternate hard rockers CICADASTONE have released the official video for their latest single Out of Sight out now via Golden Robot Records.
Out of Sight is the follow up to the recently release singles Dying In Sunshine and Box Of Anger. All three tracks are taken from their upcoming 2021 album Cold Chamber.

Melbourne-based four piece Cicadastone deliver music that packs a punch. With an old school 90’s influences and a slick modern edge, Cicadastone have found their own space in the grunge rock genre. Formed in 2013 by founding members and brothers Mat and Mark Robins, they have spent the last few years honing their sound and live show, as well as constantly writing and releasing quality music.
In 2016 Cicadastone released their debut album Chance Collide. A bold statement and an impressive first release. Songs like Drown My Hopes, Forgotten Fears, Oh Satellite and Headlights On showcased Cicadastone’s song writing maturity and diversity. Sonically the album holds its own on an international level. 2019 saw Cicadastone sign with Golden Robot Records to release their highly anticipated second album titled Cold Chamber. It’s an album that continues to push the grunge rock boundaries and a natural progression forward for the band. They’ve developed their own unique sound while staying truly authentic to the genre, a difficult task in a time when it’s all been done before.
Cold Chamber is currently slated for release in early 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic crisis.

Blue on Black is an absolute staple of our show. I’ve been playing that song for more than 20 years, and I still enjoyplaying it. As a songwriter it’s the song that I always hoped to write. It’s a timeless song that doesn’t really seem toage. A little over a year ago a new version of it came out with the Five Finger Death Punch guys, Brian May, myselfand Brantley Gilbert and it went straight to #1 on the rock charts again. As a songwriter to have a #1 hit twice withthe same song is really rare, and certainly something I am very proud of.
The calls have been coming for a long time explains Shepherd. “People have been asking us to do a live DVD forever, for decades,” he explains. “We’ve been working so much focussing on studio recordings. But I’ve been hearing the call from the fans for many years now,” and, as live music has come to a standstill, the band wanted to give the fans a taste once again of that experience and this blistering set shows them in full force.
Their only other live output, the ’Live! In Chicago’ album was released a decade ago and got itself a Grammy nomination along the way, but this time around for 2020, you get to watch the band in its full glory as well as listen. In the last 10 years the multi-platinum selling Shepherd has gone from strength to strength, winning countless awards, releasing four studio albums and touring the world over several times – from Brazil to Europe, India to Canada and US to Australia and beyond.
‘The Traveler’ was released in May last year, giving the band their 8th US Billboard Blues #1 album, when they hit the road. The ‘Traveler World Tour’ was interrupted when the Covid-19 pandemic broke, and the world came to a standstill. This show took place at the famous Leverkusen Jazzstage for the iconic German TV show, Rockpalast on 25th November 2019.
The seven-piece band took the stage and immediately launched into their most-recent hit-single ‘Woman Like You,’ with the honey-soaked powerhouse voice of Noah Hunt blasting “I ain’t looking for a one time girl” backed by the fiery fretwork of Shepherd. It’s the first of four songs taken from the latest studio album, “‘Woman Like You’ is the perfect opening song for the show,“ Shepherd says. “You come out swinging, it sets the mood for the entire show. It’s like, we’re there to rock, and we mean business.”

Italian alternative rock / metal four-piece STARSICK SYSTEM have announced the release of a brand new single called ‘Song For The Sleepless Souls’, a strong successor to the band’s latest successful EP ‘HALF’ released in 2018, which helped the band to start breaking into the international scene.
