BLOODY HAMMERS To Release New Album “Songs Of Unspeakable Terror”

Just in time for the most macabre season of the year, horror-occult-goth metal/rock fusers BLOODY HAMMERS have announced a new horror punk-inspired full-length album! The 11-track offering, entitled Songs Of Unspeakable Terror, will be unleashed on January 15, 2021 via Napalm Records and marks a new, eccentric chapter in the Transylvania County, North Carolina-based husband and wife duo’s musical story.

While it doesn’t stray too dangerously far from the sound listeners have grown to infectiously adore, the band’s latest full-length explores yet uncharted territory: retro-ized horror punk in all its gritty glory. This beastly record shouldn’t be confused as an all new direction for the band, though – these songs are a pandemic lockdown labor of love, a temporary foray into the unknown, while still remaining true to the BLOODY HAMMERS sonic trademark.

Get a first listen for yourself, but beware – you’ve never heard BLOODY HAMMERS like this! Today, the band has unveiled an inventive new music video for their first single, “A Night To Dismember” – a dark, swinging, hefty punk two-stepper with an earworm chorus that’ll have fans chanting along in no time.

Frontman/multi-instrumentalist Anders Manga says about the track:
“I’ve had the title, ‘A Night to Dismember’ written down on my to-do list for a long time. The title is based on the 1980’s direct-to-VHS Horror effort by NYC Exploitation movie legend Doris Wishman. When I heard Samantha Fox, who starred in that same movie, had died in April (2020) from a COVID-19 related illness, I just started writing and it’s a bit of a blur from there. It came together quickly. Our take on the title is different but still stands as a tribute to those two legendary ladies of celluloid sleaze.”

Bassist Devallia adds about video:
“Considering the title of the song, we thought of many different ways to go about making this video. In the end we decided to go more toward the absurd. As Spinal Tap said, there is a fine line between stupid and clever, and we are standing firmly on that line.”

At the start of 2020, Anders Manga was about to head out on tour for his darkwave side-project when COVID-19 hit. Soon locked in their house under local stay-at-home orders, Manga and his bride and bandmate, Devallia, spent time jamming in their basement and revisiting some of their classic punk favorites. Holed up and barred from the uncertainty of the world, BLOODY HAMMERS conjured 11 new raw-power tracks inspired by that sound, and now they’re unearthed… from the grave!

Anders Manga says about the album:
“When the pandemic hit and I realized I’d be stuck at home for a while, I started thinking I needed to dig into a music project. I was oddly inspired by the unknown, and fear that this plague was gonna wipe us all out. I needed a creative escape. We’d just released the BLOODY HAMMERS album, ‘The Summoning’ a few months earlier, so I didn’t think about doing another Hammers album at all. When COVID was really hitting NYC hard, that got me thinking about my favorite bands from that whole NY/NJ area… Misfits, Wendy O. Williams, Ramones, Dead Boys, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, Twisted Sister and such. That’s where I found inspiration to do a horror punk-ish record.

I sent a few songs to my label, Napalm Records, mentioning that I’d done some horror punk-ish inspired stuff and wanted to release them digitally under some new band name I’d yet to think up. They loved the songs, felt they’d still fit under the BLOODY HAMMERS name, and I figured, ‘Well… cool, I guess our listeners are used to us being a bit genre-fluid by now, so yeah… let’s do it!’

For me, writing Songs of Unspeakable Terror was escapism from the real-life horrors of 2020. At no point did I get too serious in subject matter, my goal was to make a party record for the apocalypse and that’s what I think we got.”

Kicking off with first single and album opener “A Night To Dismember”, the album careens the listener down a dark, winding auditory road of melodic punk (in a jet-black classic car, of course). Trudging, metallic terrors like “Hands Of The Ripper” and “Witchfinder General” ensnare the listener, while seductive, unrelentingly heavy tracks such as “Not Of This Earth” will have them screaming for more, and head-bobbers like “The Ones Who Own The Dark” prove this offering isn’t short on melody. Laced with spine-tingling vocal lines, bathed in an occult cocktail of granular guitars and accented by a peppering of vintage Mellotron, each track on Songs Of Unspeakable Terror is a bonafide horror punk pillar.

Songs Of Unspeakable Terror tracklisting:
1) A Night To Dismember
2) Hands Of The Ripper
3) Witchfinder General
4) Not Of This Earth
5) The Ones Who Own The Dark
6) Waking The Dead
7) Night Of The Witch
8) We Are The Damned
9) The Brain That Wouldn’t Die
10) Lucifer’s Light
11) I Spit On Your Corpse

AD INFINITUM Announce Digital Acoustic Version Of Debut Album, Unveil First Single “Marching On Versailles (Acoustic)”

Symphonic metal alliance AD INFINITUM have reimagined their spellbinding debut album, Chapter I: Monarchy, with Chapter I Revisited – a very special acoustic version of their first full-length, to be digitally released December 4 via Napalm Records!

With over one million views on YouTube, AD INFINITUM’s single “Marching On Versailles” speaks for itself and breaks in with thrashing drums as well as stormy guitar riffs – ‘til now! On Chapter I Revisited, the quartet dressed all the debut’s songs – including the hit single “Marching On Versailles” – into an acoustical and rather natural arrangement, representing another beautiful yet unknown aspect of it: Delicate guitar tunes immediately deliver the catchy melody of the chorus straight to the listener, showcasing that AD INFINITUM chose wisely in selecting this smasher as their first single back when Chapter I: Monarchy was released, as well. With the addition of Latin instrumental elements, this version of “Marching On Versailles (Acoustic)” represents a whole new facet of the four-piece.

AD INFINITUM on “Marching On Versailles (Acoustic)”:
“2020 has been, and still is, challenging for everyone. The band had to find other ways than touring to connect with our fans and friends. Therefore, working in secret, we prepared one more surprise for you. An early Christmas present! A complete acoustic album featuring all the songs of Chapter I: Monarchy. Be ready for Chapter I Revisited!”

Enjoy the video for ”Marching On Versailles (Acoustic)”  NOW:

The quartet, fronted by inimitable vocalist Melissa Bonny, have impressively attired the ten songs on Chapter I Revisited as an acoustic arrangement, showcasing how beautifully the hits like “See You In Hell” or “Demons”, amongst others, magically unfold in a more instrumentally-organic environment. Surrounded by gentle guitar playing, the originally dark symphonic metal album transforms to lightness throughout the harmonic approach of instruments. Melissa Bonny’s multifaceted vocal power shines like a bright star in the dark sky and manages to shake the firmament despite the acoustic background, notedly expressed as the powerful growls in “Maleficent” break through the silent surrounding.

Melissa Bonny on Chapter I Revisited:
“After the release of Chapter I: Monarchy, we received very positive feedbacks concerning the acoustic bonus tracks. This summer, when we realised that we would probably not tour at all this year, we decided to create something special for the people who support us. We revisited and re-recorded entirely our Chapter I and we gave it a brand new atmosphere. Please welcome Chapter I Revisited!”

WEDNESDAY 13 comments: “Just in time for Halloween we’ve been saving this track for something special, & what better way than with a music video for Halloween. The INXS cover of ‘Devil Inside’ was recorded during the ‘Necrophaze’ sessions with producer Michael Spreitzer.
I have a great memory of this song as a kid in the late 80’s. I actually witnessed this song scare a family member to the point that they screamed at the radio, TURN IT OFF!!”

Norwegian death metal collective INSIDIOUS DISEASE, featuring current/former members from DIMMU BORGIR, MORGOTH, NILE,  SUSPERIA and NAPALM DEATH, have released their first album in a decade, “After Death,” today with Nuclear Blast. Also announced today, the band has revealed a beautifully shot, ghastly new music video directed by Sandra Marschner (DIMMU BORGIR, MARILYN MANSON) for their song ‘Invisible War,‘ which can be viewed below.

“Today we are absolutely chuffed to announce the release of our 2nd album ‘After Death’ with this new video-clip for the song ‘Invisible War’. The video was shot in an old German World War 2 bunker near Berlin and captures the vibe of this song perfectly. It wasn’t easy to realize the filming under the current circumstances, but we are pleased with the result and the whole filming and production. We really hope you will enjoy this clip and the album… It’s been a long time coming but it’s safe to say we’re excited to share our new art with you! Crank the volume!” – INSIDIOUS DISEASE

Sonically inducing a depraved and morbid condition of the mind,  INSIDIOUS DISEASE will return in 2020 to present their second full length album. Freshly signed to Nuclear Blast Records, the band convenes to create a modern venture into classic death metal. Still in the early stages of existence with only their debut album “Shadowcast (2010)” preceding,  INSIDIOUS DISEASE are ripe with a hellish energy that seeks to sear its way across the universe of heavy metal. “It’s not supposed to be re-inventing the wheel or anything, it’s just about finding a good groove that we feel comfortable with,” explains Silenoz.

GHØSTKID Release Video For “YØU & I”

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 31, 2020

GHØSTKID’s music is a headlong dive into darkness and aggression. It aligns on new paradigms: baring its teeth while keeping a sense for catchy melodies.

GHØSTKID is the new namesake of Sebastian “Sushi“ Biesler (formerly Eskimo Callboy) and a conspiracy of friends and likeminded allies who have come to a riot of their own: Steve Joakim (drums) from Sweden as well as Danny Güldener (guitar) and Stanislaw Czywil (bass), both of whom played in To The Rats And Wolves.

Today marks the release of the next song and video taken from their self-titled debut album, click here for “YØU & I (Official Video)”:

GHØSTKID comments: “’YØU & I’ is probably the most personal track on the record and based on a true story. It’s the story about a close person who is in a coma… It seems like you can’t really do anything, but somehow you’ve got a connection and it really feels like you are facing all of this together. I strongly believe that being there and letting someone feel that he or she is not alone definitely has an impact. The video is a metaphoric walk through the “coma world“. It’s about finding a way out of it together, about support and about help. Sometimes this is all what we need to make it through tough times… to know that we’re not alone.“

Yet again the video was produced by GHØSTKID and Mirko Witzki with visual effects coming from Timo Krahl.

Like all songs previously released “YØU & I” is taken from GHØSTKID’s self-titled debut album that was co-produced by Phil Sunday and produced by renowned producer Sky van Hoff (Rammstein, Emigrate etc.) and that is scheduled for a release on November 13th, 2020.

DEATH DEALER led by ROSS THE BOSS has issued a second track, “Running with the Wolves,” as a preview of their forthcoming 3rd record, CONQUERED LANDS – to be released worldwide November 13, 2020, through STEEL CARTEL. A video for the track has also been released, which can be viewed here:

DEATH DEALER has an all-star heavy metal roster featuring the aforementioned ROSS THE BOSS (ex-MANOWAR) Sean Peck: vocals (CAGE, THE THREE TREMORS, DENNER/SHERMANN), Stu Marshall: guitar (DUNGEON, NIGHT LEGION), Steve Bolognese: drums (ROSS THE BOSS BAND, INTO ETERNITY), and newly added bass player extraordinaire Mike Lepond (SYMPHONY-X, ROSS THE BOSS BAND).

Ross: “‘Conquered Lands’ has a lot of heavy fast stuff on it but this song really has a rocking vibe and  great energy.  It is one of my personal favorites on our new record.”

Sean: “It is always a challenge to decide what songs to do videos for when you are promoting a record. I dig the hook on it and it is a fun song about being in Death Dealer. I always like bands that do songs about kicking ass. I was cracking myself up as I wrote the lyrics. It goes back to the KISS days I would say even.”

Stu: “We had a ton of footage from that great tour and the video captures the crazy energy we generate at these shows and how the crowd reacts to the band and our songs. I am really looking forward to playing these new songs of ‘Conquered Lands’ live eventually.”

The ‘Conquered Lands’ pre-order page for has some great bundle packages available here: http://www.deathdealermetal.com/store.html

The DEATH DEALER sound mixes classic heavy metal with elements of thrash, power, and epic stylings, all wrapped around powerful choruses that compel the listener to sing along at the top of their lungs with fists held high in the air. The album’s lead-off track, “Sorcerer Supreme,” can be heard here: https://youtu.be/Sxu1dqPOxC0.

Their debut album, WARMASTER, was met with critical acclaim and led them to an arena tour opening slot in Europe and parts of Asia.  Their follow up album, HALLOWED GROUND, continued where they left off and quickly helped them build a loyal fanbase aided by their headlining tour in Europe

DEATH DEALER will be supporting their new release with touring and festival appearances in the future.
