Brazilian NervoChaos will release their new album Chaosmongers on September 11 worldwide via Black Lion Records, on CD and LP and Brazil edition, to be released via Tomba Productions
With their fourteenth studio album, Chaosmongers, NervoChaos pushes beyond the boundaries of traditional Death Metal. Featuring 12 tracks, including a tribute to Brazilian legends Ratos de Porão, the album explores themes of chaos, transformation, the occult, and human resilience, inviting listeners to forge their own interpretation of its dark and expansive journey.
Produced by Edu Lane. Recorded by Adriano Daga at Estúdio Purosom (Sao Paulo, Brazil) Mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman Artwork by Niklas Sundin
“Chaosmongers” showcases the band’s evolution, blending a strong old-school traditional vibe without sounding dated or like a retro project, with many heavy riffs and a certain influence of Thrash Metal combined with the brutality of Death Metal. The riffs are varied and focused, without unnecessary embellishments, serving the music first and foremost, with the exploration of universal themes that transcend cultural, spiritual, and existential boundaries. It’s more than just an album; it’s an invitation to see chaos as the beginning of transformation

With “Kit d’Emergenza”, Red Sky delivers one of the most personal and emotionally resonant moments from Nostalgia del Futuro. Accompanied by a powerful new music video, the track addresses loneliness, emotional struggle, and the search for hope when everything seems lost.
Red Sky explains:
“Emergency Kit was born from a very specific moment. A fan wrote to me saying she wanted to take her own life. That night, I wrote this song for her.
But as I was writing, I realized I wasn’t speaking only to her. I was speaking to everyone who feels like an outsider in this world — different, misunderstood, alone even when surrounded by others.
The title is no coincidence: this song is meant to be exactly that, an emergency kit. Something to hold on to when the weight becomes too much to bear, a voice that says “I see you” when everything around you feels dark.
The music video gives a face to that darkness without hiding it and without romanticizing it. Because those who are living through it need to know that someone sees them, and that their suffering is not a life sentence.”
The track is featured on Nostalgia del Futuro, an ambitious album inspired by Maxwell Maltz’s Psycho-Cybernetics and the longing for who we are meant to become. Written just before Red Sky’s life-altering move to Japan, the record is a fearless sonic manifesto. It blends metal, rap, electronic music, reggae, and traditional Japanese and Middle Eastern textures, channeling the artist’s cross-cultural journey to explore universal themes of identity, aging, and self-worth.
Red Sky is a masked rapper-guitarist who has been challenging musical conventions since 2011. Known for his “Kintsugi Music” philosophy, he blends rap, metal, electronic, and global influences—particularly from Japanese culture—into a genre-defying sound. Over 15 years, he has released 14 albums, opened for major Italian artists, and built a passionate international following. His music speaks to fans of conscious Italian rap (Caparezza, Rancore), modern metal titans (Linkin Park, Rammstein, Falling in Reverse), and anyone drawn to Japanese culture and music with substance. With Epictronic behind him and an album that promises to push every boundary, Red Sky is ready to make 2026 unforgettable.
Violet Breed return with their fifth single “SING,” an electrifying rock anthem with music and lyrics written by Alex Gonzato & Brian Wheat, that blends alternative and classic rock influences with a bold modern edge. From the very first note, the track commands the attention of the listener. Driven by an anthemic chorus- layered in melodic vocal harmonies, soaring gritty guitars and thunderous drums that create an undeniable sense of urgency. It’s clear that with this latest release the band have explored a heavier and rebellious rock sound.
Today, the band has released the official music video for “SING.”
With its chant-like hook and high-energy delivery, “SING” is an uplifting rock song about using your voice as a rallying cry. Standing up for yourself and others around you urging listeners to break free from the routine and restrictions of everyday life and spreading a message of hope.
With bassist and founding member Brian Wheat at the helm of the track’s production and engineering, Violet Breed’s sound is pushed to its maximum potential- establishing a polished authentic sound that highlights the raw emotion and vocal performance of lead singer AleX.
Violet Breed continue to carve out their place within the alternative rock scene. “SING” showcases a sound that is both refreshingly urgent and unapologetically bold, marking an exciting new chapter for the band as they push their creative boundaries.
The release follows the band’s strong momentum, building on the success of their first four singles:
“Awake” reached #14 on the SMR Charts and #28 on Mediabase Activator
“10 Years Sober” charted at #24 on SMR and #36 on Mediabase Activator

The Cruel Intentions release music video from the featured track “Triple Threat” from their latest album “All Hail Hypocrisy”!
The video was shot at the release-concerts in Bodø and Oslo, two epic nights of rock and celebration at the end of May. Filmed and edited by Marcus Undhagen at Sinus Stormen Bodø, Revolver Oslo and at Lucky L Tattoo in Bodø.
The song is playful, teasing, fast and dark. And even if it’s a fast paced punk-rock song this might be the most complex song on the album: From the small signature changes/up and down tempo, metal breakdowns, groovy solo; all makes the dynamic and diverge mix of parts in this song, which has already established itself as a live favorite.
And then we of course have the three words in the chorus, which is so cliche that it works. Why just not say it like it is? It’s about the consequences of having too much of a good time. The dark side of the temptations that we all encounter when we sell our bodies to the night! The perils of rock n roll decadence, as a famous band once said; We’ve all been there.

Terror Management Theory is out now on Season of Mist
Introducing TEMIC—prog’s newest, most ambitious, and most adrenaline-fueled act. TEMIC melds the creative minds of keyboardist and sound designer Diego Tejeida (Devin Townsend, Mike Portnoy’s Shattered Fortress, ex-Haken), guitarist Eric Gillette (The Neal Morse Band, Mike Portnoy’s Shattered Fortress), drummer Simen Sandnes (SHINING, Arkentype), bassist Miguel Pereira (Withem, Big City) and vocalist Fredrik Klemp (Maraton, 22).
The origins of TEMIC date back to 2017, when Tejeida and Gillette toured the world as band members of Mike Portnoy’s Shattered Fortress. From the very first chords they exchanged, their musical chemistry both on and off stage was undeniable, leading them to discuss the prospect of starting a new band together. Unfortunately, conflicting tour and recording commitments forced them to turn their attention elsewhere for years—that is, until the world came to a standstill in 2020, and Tejeida called Gillette to ask a fateful question: “Remember how we said we should make music together? Well, how about now?”
Thus, the first demos for what would later become TEMIC’s 2023 debut album, Terror Management Theory, began to emerge. Within a few weeks after that initial phone call, the musical vision of TEMIC had become clear: Let’s create progressive music that is heavily influenced by high-energy electronic music, but arranged and orchestrated for a 5-piece modern prog rock/metal band—where, at last, the pulse can be the focus, and the vocal melody can be king.
Eager to join forces with the very best bandmates, Tejeida and Gillette first summoned the rhythmic power of their friend and drummer Sandnes. With characteristic enthusiasm, Sandnes seized the opportunity, prepared to contribute his percussive prowess as the heartbeat of TEMIC. When it came time to find the singer that would carry TEMIC’s melodies to new heights, Sandnes recommended vocal powerhouse Klemp, whose emotive delivery and unmatched intensity left no doubt that he was destined to be the voice of TEMIC. Finally, to round out the rhythm section of Terror Management Theory, dynamic bassist Jacob Umansky (Intervals) was invited on board as a guest player, gracing the album with an unrivaled groove and a signature low-end sound.
Together, this mammoth lineup is TEMIC, a high-energy, electronic-inspired, modern melodic prog metal band for the next generation.

On September 4th, 2026, Vanaheim will release their highly anticipated follow-up concept album, which carries the name “Roede voor de Borst” together with a new band design and lyrics that tell a tragic, emotional but engaging story. The new album features top musicians like Coen Janssen of Epica and Nils Fischer of Eluveitie, who enhanced the band’s sound with their performances on all new tracks. The Dutch luminary of all things symphonic and melodic metal, aka Joost van den Broek produced, recorded and mixed the album before it was mastered by Finnish mastering legend Mika Jussila in Helsinki.
“Roede voor de Borst” involves the listener in an immersive storyline about regrets, despair, hope and salvation. A musical journey full of surprises coated by a Dutch 19th century setting that pulls you deep into a book of untold legends. The Dutch vocals award these songs with an emotional honesty which leads every sung word directly under your skin. With a rousing mix of symphonic heaviness, elegant folk-inspired melodies and grounding death metal riffs, Roede voor de Borst represents the next level of Vanaheim and a new level of epic folk metal.
