Grand are thrilled to announce that they are returning with a new studio album, “Guilty Pleasure”, out on August 21, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.
To celebrate the announcement, they unveil the first single, “Wild Heart”, along with an official video, available below.
The band stated: “Wild Heart” tells the story of a lost teenage love, exploring whether opposites truly attract. Driven by a strong, recurring keyboard hook, the song blends melodic rock, AOR, and synthwave into a powerful and cohesive mix.”
Sweden’s Grand return with their third album entitled “Guilty Pleasure”, a masterclass in melodic AOR, delivering soaring choruses, lush arrangements, and timeless hooks.
Fronted by the powerful and versatile vocals of Mattias Olofsson, complemented by Jakob Svensson’s searing guitars and production, and Maja Thorén’s atmospheric keyboards, the band creates a sound that is both cinematic and emotionally resonant. Johannes Arvidsson’s bass and Axel Nilsson’s drums provide the driving force that propels every track.
“Guilty Pleasure” is an irresistible journey through modern AOR, crafted for fans who crave big melodies, sing-along choruses, and uncompromising sonic quality.
The band commented: “The album is a collection of our own guilty pleasures. We’ve blended AOR with ’80s rock and pop into a high-energy mix filled with pure joy – all wrapped in a modern, high-end production. With a strong five-member lineup, we’re back bigger and bolder than ever.”
Formed on the southern outskirts of Stockholm, Swedish AOR band Grand made a strong entry onto the global melodic rock scene with their self-titled debut in 2022. Featuring catchy hooks, lush production and timeless melodies grounded in classic influences like Starship, Foreigner, Toto, Mr. Big and Giant, the album positioned Grand firmly within the Scandinavian AOR tradition.
Following the positive reception of their debut, Grand returned in 2024 with “Second To None”, further deepening their signature melodic rock sound.
In 2025, Grand grew from their original trio into a five-piece powerhouse with the addition of three new members. Founding members Mattias Olofsson (vocals), Jakob Svensson (guitars) were joined by Johannes Arvidsson (bass), Maja Thorén (keyboards) and Axel Nilsson (drums).
Grand consistently emphasize the close and meaningful relationship they share with their audience, often pointing to the wide reach of their fans and the connections that form when they meet in person. The ongoing exchange with listeners remains a key source of motivation for the band.
“Guilty Pleasure”, written and recorded during an incredibly productive period, represents the next evolution of their sound. It reflects a sound rooted in classic melodic rock while continuing to push the genre forward through passion, attention to detail, and a strong bond with fans around the world.

Austria’s MONUMENT OF MISANTHROPY are proud to release their new track, “The 1974 PNW Spree” featuring Gabe Mangold of Enterprise Earth, alongside an official lyric video. “The 1974 PNW Spree” marks the lead single from the band’s upcoming album, ‘Washington State Charm,’ set for release on June 26th via Listenable Records.
On the new single, the band comments:
“We rolled out ‘The 1974 PNW Spree’ as the first single because it picks up right where the last record left off — just meaner, tighter, and way more dialed in. Julius brought this one in, and it’s the perfect showcase of how far we’ve pushed ourselves technically over the years.”
They continue, “It’s a high-octane ripper that perfectly mirrors the chaos and intensity of the Ted Bundy1974 killing spree — like a sonic gut punch that demands your attention, front and center. On top of that, Gabe Mangold from Enterprise Earth throws down an absolutely unhinged but insanely precise solo that takes it over the edge. Don’t sleep on this one!”
Originally founded as a solo project by singer Georg Wilfinger (ex-Miasma) in 2010 in Austria, MONUMENT OF MISANTHROPY has released three studio albums, an EP, and a demo up to now. Their previous full-length album, ‘Vile Postmortem Irrumatio‘ was released in August 2024 and drew roaring reviews worldwide.
These relentless purveyors of auditory violence and “Mindhunters” of brutal Death Metal, have crawled back out of the basement with a brand-new full-length slab of extremity entitled ‘Washington State Charm.’
The new opus is a wholesome little concept album chronicling the coming-of-age story of a serial killer: the awkward upbringing, the early extracurricular activities, and the grand finale on the electric chair of America’s probably most prolific serial killer, Ted Bundy.
Georg Wilfinger comments:
“While we’ve stayed 100% true to ourselves musically, which means constantly reinventing ourselves, we’re pretty damn sure you’re going to love this new album. We obsessed over every microscopic detail, whether it’s a hidden arpeggio, a lyrical pun, or just another described act of unspeakable horror, and maybe some truths about Ted you might not even have known yet. This isn’t just another death metal record you half-listen to while bench-pressing. It’s an experience. A deep look into a very, very sick human being’s brain.“
MONUMENT OF MISANTHROPY‘s new guest-filled album ‘Washington State Charm‘ is scheduled for a June 26, 2026 release date on Listenable Records.

Uniquely talented Faroese artist Eivør has revealed a brand-new song. With her new single ‘Healer‘, Eivør opens the door to a new chapter, one rooted in vulnerability, strength and transformation.
Marking her first release since the 2024 album ENN, ‘Healer‘ arrives after an extended period of international touring, where Eivør has performed across Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, steadily deepening her connection with a global audience.
Set within a dark, atmospheric sound world, ‘Healer‘ blends a distorted piano-led bass line with cinematic strings and ambient textures. Driven by a steady, pulsing rhythm and carried by Eivør’s raw, expressive vocals, the track moves between fragility and release, like letting go in a storm while still carrying everything you’ve been through.
At its core, the song is a reflection on self-worth and resilience. It captures the tension between falling and finding your footing again, holding space for both doubt and quiet strength.
Eivør explains: “‘Healer’ is a conversation with my younger self – the one who once doubted everything and didn’t feel like she was enough. It lives in the space of falling and finding your footing. The song holds onto the idea that even in those moments, something stronger is quietly building.”
The accompanying video, directed by Faroese filmmaker Katrin Joensen-Næs, extends the emotional world of the song through a stark and symbolic visual language. Shot entirely in black and white, the film unfolds around two mirrored figures, exploring themes of identity, transformation and inner dialogue. All production design and costumes are created within this monochrome palette, reinforcing a visual language that reflects an inner emotional landscape. The video is inspired by the idea that time heals all wounds.
Following a period of near-continuous touring, ‘Healer‘ signals a shift towards a more direct and emotionally immediate form of songwriting, while retaining the depth and physical intensity that define her work.
Eivør continues: “I poured my heart into this song. I hope it meets you where you are, and maybe offers you a sense of strength and healing.”
Eivør is also very proud to announce new, extensive tour dates across North America, Europe and the UK.
Tickets for North America and Europe will go on general sale on Friday May 1st. A pre-sale is available now, sign up here: https://laylo.com/eivor

Eivør is one of the most distinctive voices to emerge from the Nordic music scene, an artist whose work bridges ancient tradition and contemporary sound. Raised in the Faroe Islands, her music is deeply shaped by the stark landscapes and communal singing culture of her homeland, where music is both ritual and everyday expression.
Blending elements of Nordic folk, cinematic composition and modern production, Eivør has built a genre-defying catalogue across 11 studio albums. Her sound moves fluidly between the primal and the refined, combining raw vocal techniques, atmospheric textures and rhythmic intensity. In 2021, she was awarded the Nordic Council Music Prize, recognising her unique artistic voice and contribution to contemporary music.
Alongside her solo work, Eivør has gained international recognition for her compositions for film, television and games, including The Last Kingdom and God of War, where her voice and writing have helped define expansive, emotionally driven sound worlds.
Eivør is an established international live artist, having toured extensively across Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand in recent years. Following the release of her latest album ENN, she has continued to grow her global audience through major headline touring. Her live performances are known for their intensity and emotional depth, translating the physical and atmospheric qualities of her music into a powerful on-stage experience.
Eivør’s music occupies a dark, atmospheric space shaped by cinematic composition, ambient electronic elements and touches of alternative and Nordic -influenced sound. Rooted in tradition yet distinctly contemporary, her work carries a strong emotional undercurrent and a sense of physical presence. Now signed to Nuclear Blast, her latest music marks the beginning of a new chapter, more direct, intimate and sonically focused, while retaining the depth that defines her work.
Friday 15th May, 2026 sees the release of LOVE NOR MONEY’s eagerly awaited 8th single, ‘Long Since Gone (The Brighter Side of Freedom)’, marking a new era for a young band with an already intriguing and turbulent back story.
Influence and delusion. “Long Since Gone” (The Brighter Side of Freedom) brings to the conversation how we are made to feel unfulfilled in our own lives by measure of comparison with rich celebrity influencers, funding extravagant lifestyles of their own by selling an ‘all this could be yours if you follow me’ dream.
The song celebrates the honest mundane, modesty and the value of what real people have in a real world. 8 singles on, a clear development in sound is apparent with the band’s well-known classic rock identity now fused with more soul and blues influences. Harmonies to the forefront, grit replaced with groove – at least for now, and a notable nod to the truly inspirational Crispian Mills.
Bobby Firth: ‘I saw Kula Shaker twice last year, they were one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. It seemed fitting on this track to channel some of Crispian’s iconic vocal ad-libs into the recording.’
Love nor Money formed in the West Midlands, UK in 2023. Two brothers with guitars, Bobby and Eddie Firth were joined by Troy Weaver on drums with a unified passion for music that is inescapable in the energy produced on every stage they take to. A clear love for early blues and classic rock is unmistakable in Love nor Money’s unique identity pertaining to an authentic retro influence that’s never sounded so current.
A typical Love nor Money show will take you on a journey of Birmingham-heavy riffs, with the groove of the Stones while evidencing a deep lyrical appreciation for the likes of Ray Davies, Bob Dylan and Tom Waits. Love nor Money are becoming increasingly known for their high-impact live gigs, tight arrangements, and emotive, relatable, thought-provoking lyrics. Audiences can expect the occasional Doors, Howlin’ Wolf and Nina Simone cover, always delivered Love nor Money style, with the same passion and energy as their own material.
Working with critically acclaimed producer Gavin Monaghan (Robert Plant, The Twang, The Editors, Ocean Colour Scene, Celine Dion), Love nor Money have released 7 previous singles, an EP, performed extensively, signed an international record deal, and have now chosen to continue independently for the foreseeable future.
Catch Love nor Money next at the Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhampton on Friday 15th May.
