Finnish thrashers Krushor are set to release their debut EP ‘Taste of Hatred’ on January 9th 2026 via Inverse Records. The first single ‘Shockwave’ accompanied by lyric video is unleashed today and it’s available here: https://push.fm/fl/krushor-shockwave
The band comments: “Shockwave is about war, its madness, and maybe, fittingly for the times, a bit about why wars are fought, who starts them, and who benefits from them. In war, there are no winners at least not for us poor folks. I don’t like to politicize things, but in these times, wars are too present, and you can always write a song about how horrifying they are.”
-Composed by Joni Kärsämä, Juho Mattila, Saku Hirvimäki, Sami Keränen -Lyrics by Ville Lehtoranta -Arranged by Krushor -ISRC: FI3FC2595901
The band found its current identity through shared musical tastes, playing together, and a shared hobby. We are a group of people who enjoy making and playing music that works for all of us. A big part of this is that composing, writing lyrics, and editing songs is open to everyone. All songs and compositions are created by the whole group, not based on one person’s vision or goal.
Our influences definitely come from older metal, but that doesn’t matter, because mixing genres actually adds a lot to our music; there’s no one right way to do things. Krushor’s goal is to make music that sounds good and at the same time talk about the difficult things that are part of life. For many people, music can be therapeutic, and if even one person feels that way about our music, we feel we have succeeded.

The furious Danish thrash metal band Hell’s Domain just recently signed a record deal with Punishment 18 Records for the release of their second full-length album, titled “Terminal State.” Scheduled for release on November 27th, the album marks a new chapter in the band’s relentless career, packed with aggression and raw energy. In the meantime, the first single ‘Coming Back for More’ has officially been released, offering a taste of the album’s explosive sound.
As they gear up for a headline European tour that begins November 7 in Tampere, Finland, 3x-Grammy-nominated and four-time #1 rock outfitNOTHING MORE (@nothingmoremusic) released yesterday their interpretation of “We’re in This Together” by Nine Inch Nails—currently on tour to promote their latest TRON: Ares(Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) album—from 1999’s The Fragile. It’s asong thathas always heldgreat meaning for theboundary-pushing alternative metal band—Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar), Daniel Oliver (bass), and Ben Anderson (drums)—and one they in fact started recording 11 years ago before being sidetracked by creating their own music.
“‘We’re in This Together’ sounds like a love song colliding with a war cry,” says frontman Jonny Hawkins. “Alan Watts [the British American writer and orator] once said that ‘you are the universe experiencing itself’—and this song embodies that truth. It’s us against the world, and this song is my inner monologue.”
The band’s guitarist Mark Vollelunga elaborates. “This song is from my favorite Nine Inch Nails’ album, The Fragile, and by far one of my favorite NIN songs. It’s such a beautiful cataclysm. Essentially, it’s a love song, but as I dove deeper, my interpretation shifted to it being about my relationship to my personal demons and mental trauma. It’s about making peace with those monsters and accepting who and what they are while realizing they will always be a part of me,” he adds. “It took a long time to achieve that cathartic clarity in regard to the very real nature of that evil’s presence. We actually started recording the song 11 years ago, and it’s just been lying in wait until recently. I was upset we hadn’t released it earlier, but I now believe its relevance and timing couldn’t be more immaculate.”
The standalone track “We’re in This Together” follows NOTHING MORE’s most recent single/video “EXISTENTIAL DREAD,” which marks the fifth release from their 2024 album, CARNAL. The album has notably spawned four back-to-back #1 rock singles—“If It Doesn’t Hurt,” “ANGEL SONG (featuring David Draiman),”“HOUSE ON SAND” (featuring Eric Vanlerberghe),” and “FREEFALL” (featuring Chris Daughtry)—on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay” and Mediabase “Active Rock” charts and amassed 193.5 million global streams. With this chart distinction, the band joins a special group of artists including Metallica, Linkin Park, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, and Falling In Reverse who’ve achieved the same honor.
A deluxe edition of CARNAL was released this past March and is also available on CD and vinyl. Five bonus tracks on CARNAL (DELUXE) include a new version of the bracing “FREEFALL,” featuring 6x Platinum-certified rock artist Chris Daughtry, and a live version of “ANGEL SONG.” The latter track was recorded at the band’s set at Aftershock Festival 2024 where NOTHING MORE was joined onstage by guest vocalist David Draiman.
NOTHING MORE’s upcoming headline European tour gets underway November 7 in Tampere, Finland, with support from Catch Your Breath, Solence, and Ankor. Early next year, starting January 14, 2026 in Silver Spring, MD, the band will launch another round of headlining shows throughout the U.S. and Canada, with support by Catch Your Breath, Archers, and Doobie. Tickets and VIP Meet and Greet packages are on sale now on their official website.

Nightside Den is the title of Sirenia’s brand new song, the first single from the upcoming album Amanita Messis. The song was released one week ago and the videoclip premiered on Sirenia’s official youtube channel yesterday.
‘Nightside Den’ is in many ways a typical Sirenia song, it has a lot of those typical elements that the band loves to include in their songs. It’s a melodic and groovy mid-tempo song with a very catchy chorus and a nice Symphonic touch. The videoclip was shot in Marseille, France – the hometown of lead singer Emma Zoldan. The premiere will be hosted by Morten Veland, the band’s founder, songwriter and guitar player. Check out ‘Nightside Den’ on Sirenia’s official Youtube channel.
SOULBOUND release the new single “Chaos & Amen”. The song is taken the forthcoming studio album wich will be released on 16 January 2026 by Metalville.
With “Chaos & Amen”, SOULBOUND deliver a snotty fall from grace full of self-irony, sacred aesthetics and driving heaviness. The song tells of missteps, pride and the refusal to be made small. Exaggerated, honest, with a grin on the face. Between NDH, metalcore and industrial elements, a rebellious soundtrack is created for all those who prefer to go their own way rather than bend over backwards. A confessional on fire and us in the middle of it: So be it, amen!
With “sYn” SOULBOUND present their most uncompromising work to date. The melodic industrial metal band’s fourth studio album strikes a dark, direct tone and remains as catchy as it is uncomfortable. Between brutal self-reckoning, social criticism and sacred exaltation, “sYn” spins a dense thematic thread around the central motif of sin – rethought, interpreted in many different ways and bitterly personal.
Musically, the band remains true to itself: “sYn” combines hard riffs, brute synths, pounding beats and anthemic choruses. Somewhere between NDH, metalcore and electronically distorted world pain. But instead of bold provocation, it’s about attitude. It’s about admitting to being fallible. About contradicting dogmas and wrestling with one’s own precipice.
“If we’re considered sinners, might as well be it with purpose and flair!”, says the band. This is exactly how sYn sounds: raw, honest, angry, but also vulnerable. An album like a mirror that doesn’t embellish, but confronts. No pure accusations, but an outcry. Not enlightenment, but flames in which you stand.
“sYn” was recorded and produced entirely by the band themselves.
