FIGHT FROM WITHIN’s Debut Album “Talk Is Cheap” Out Now

Upstate New York’s own Fight From Within have unleashed their highly anticipated debut album, “Talk Is Cheap,” out now via TLG | ZOID and distributed by Virgin Music Group. The band is currently on tour in support of the album.

Vocalist Mikey shares, “This album is a byproduct of our personal life experiences within the music scene over the last few years. Talk Is Cheap, and we plan to show people that.”

Guitarist Paddy adds, “Talk Is Cheap is a sonically crushing journey through the human condition, framed by the barren sociological conditions of the modern internet age.”

TLG|ZOID comments, “When you listen to as much new music as we do, you can begin to get weary and not sure if you want to press play on the next song in your queue.  It has become so formulaic.  So predictable.  Then you come across that one band that stands out and breaks from the conventional and you realize why you still work in the industry.  We are massive fans of extreme metal and Fight From Within floored us.  The energy, attitude, power and unusual twist on the genre instantly stood out.  We feel they are onto something special in extreme metal and that Talk is Cheap is just the beginning.”

Fight From Within were founded in Upstate New York in early 2021. Their sound lands at the intersection of metalcore, hardcore, and beatdown. With deeply diverse influences ranging from Bury Your Dead, Polaris, Evergreen Terrace, Emmure, Invent/Animate, Every Time I Die, and Attila, they have crafted their own distinct sound.

In 2022, they began tracking new music with Pablo Viveros of Chelsea Grin. They have taken the stage at many key festivals, from Sonic Temple to The Gathering of the Juggles to Inkcarceration. The band is headed into 2026 like a freight train — all gas, no brakes.

SEETHING AKIRA to Release Cover of Faithless’ Iconic ‘Insomnia’ on October 17th

SEETHING AKIRA will release their cover of Faithless’ Iconic ‘Insomnia’ on October 17th.

The band comments: “Faithless’ Insomnia is one of the most iconic electronic tracks of all time. With our cover, we set out to honour that legacy while reimagining it through the raw intensity and high-octane chaos that defines Seething Akira. The result is a powerful collision of nostalgia and modern aggression.”

Presale here: https://earache.lnk.to/Insomnia

Seething Akira are a band built on the foundations of connection, sharing something special with a stranger and forming a bond that lasts a lifetime. Taking the most gloriously crushing parts of metalcore and joyfully triumphant elements of EDM and smashing them together with lashings of British grit, determination and cheek, they craft a uniquely vibrant experience. Delivering as many breakdowns that could cut diamonds as techno breaks that wouldn’t sound out of place in the clubs of Berlin, they strive to unite two worlds with more in common than many think.

Inspired by the swell of the pit as much as the heat of the dancefloor, movement is encouraged, but so is critical thought. Though the band’s music straddles the shoulders of the community proudly, it is when they are on stage together that it truly comes to life. They’ve shared their hopeful philosophy with everyone from Don Broco and Ingested to Skindred, Killswitch Engage and Sleep Token, as well as decimating stages at Download, Bloodstock and Victorious. And each performance they been a part of has been viewed as a blessing, a chance to change someone’s perspective with the euphoria they have forged. There is no barrier between the band and the crowd, they are one in these moments

Seething Akira:
When did waking up with air in our lungs and blood in our veins stop being all we needed to know that life is wonderful?
At the end of everything, you won’t be thinking of the things you bought or the number of followers you had. You’ll be looking at the places you saw, the things you felt and the people you were with. That’s what this should all be about. It’s all this has ever been about. We just need a bit of reminding every now and then.

The future is more uncertain than it has ever been, but what we can control is the things that we stand for. As beautifully human as they are, they are wonderfully otherworldly; Seething Akira know who they are and what they believe now more than ever. Of what it means to make the most of our time and endeavour to make every moment one to remember. They want to be a flag in the ground for everybody else who feels the same.

SEETHING AKIRA live:
1st, 2nd Nov – Rabidfest, Oxford
2026
1st – 3rd May – Teddy Rocks Festival, Dorset
2nd May – Kin’ellfest, Mansfield
24th July – Hammerdown Open Air Festival, Horsham

tAKiDA, one of Sweden’s most successful rock bands, are adding their most recent live album, Boxroom Tour – Live At Tonhallen In Sundsvall, to their physical repertoire. Originally released in digital format earlier this year, the live recordings will be out in several exclusive physical formats on November 28, 2025 via Napalm Records. Recorded in 2024, the album unleashes the electrifying energy of their live semi-acoustic performances across 19 powerful tracks – dubbed the Boxroom versions.

Together with the announcement, tAKiDA unveil the first glimpse of what to expect on the album. “Sacred Spell” (off their most recent studio album, The Agony Flame, 2024) encapsulates the intimate atmosphere of the recorded show – a captivating look into the softer, yet strikingly powerful reimaginations that make up Boxroom Tour – Live At Tonhallen In Sundsvall. Enriched by lush strings and warm horn arrangements, all accompanied by soaring melodies and powerful vocals, this record shows what made tAKiDA such a dominant force in rock.

Since forming in 1999 and breaking out with their debut album, tAKiDA has ruled the Swedish rock scene with six platinum singles (including one of them 4x platinum), three platinum albums, and five #1 albums. Their success has also crossed borders: their most recent studio album, The Agony Flame (2024), marked their highest German chart entry yet (#8), while its lead single “The Loneliest Hour” hit #1 on the German Rock Airplay Charts. Boxroom Tour – Live At Tonhallen In Sundsvall takes the audience on a journey through tAKiDA’s successful discography, from introspective “Jaded” (originally released on their first album …Make You Breathe, 2006) to hits like “Curly Sue” (from Bury The Lies, 2007), “Master” (from Sju, 2019), and “You Learn” (from The Burning Heart, 2011), all the way to deeply emotional “Feel You Falling Away” (from Falling From Fame, 2021). The unique atmosphere of the Boxroom versions, enhanced by strings and soft choir, enhances beloved songs in a never-before-heard way.

Boxroom Tour – Live At Tonhallen In Sundsvall brings a new side of tAKiDA to our living rooms. Intimate, gentle, and effortlessly captivating, the Swedish rockers showcase what took them to the top of their home country’s rock scene and onto international stages alike.

DEAD HEAT Unleash New Video for ‘The Order’

West Coast crossover faction DEAD HEAT is pleased to unleash their latest video for “The Order” from their Process Of Elimination full-length.The premiere comes on the eve of the record’s official release Friday, October 10th on Metal Blade Records!

Produced by the band with Paul Fig (Deftones, Trivium, Jerry Cantrell), Process Of Elimination is DEAD HEAT‘s first album for Metal Blade. Across eleven heavy tracks, it sees the Oxnard, California-based band reaching a sonic and lyrical apex. The record follows the band’s critically adored, 2023 released Endless Torment EP and serves as a continuation and progression musically, while thematically it often touches on DEAD HEAT‘s disdain for the powers that be.

Stream DEAD HEAT‘s previously released single, “Perpetual Punishment” HERE and “By My Will” HERE.

Of the record’s lead single, “Perpetual Punishment,” Stereogum accurately championed, “great music for headbutting all your best friends.” Elsewhere, Decibel Magazine notes, “Process… leans deep into the snarl and gnarl of their previous work to produce a vicious, bloodthirsty thrash record that is more Demolition Hammer, Kreator, or Sodom than it is crossover like D.R.I. or Crumbsuckers.” Rock Hard Germany writes, “After a short acoustic intro at the beginning of ‘Perpetual Punishment,’ DEAD HEAT open their third album with the sensitivity of an orbital sander. The Californian five-piece’s crossover hardcore thrash is beautifully raucous, its raw style repeatedly reminiscent of their Texan colleagues Power Trip.” Mystification ‘Zine hails a “harder, meaner and louder” era of DEAD HEAT while Fuze confirms, “The songs are raw and uncompromising, yet catchy and instantly recognizable. DEAD HEAT manages to combine heaviness and hooks in such a way that their tracks not only work in the mosh pit but also stick in the mind.” Adds Transcended Music, “If you’re into riffs, Process Of Elimination is pure riff city.“

Comments vocalist Chris Ramos on today’s single, “‘The Order’ is about knowing your place in line when it comes to things. Just because you’re given something, doesn’t mean you always earn it and when it comes to that, real recognizes real. Some people all they do is leech off others and use them just to benefit themselves and break away later. Always know there’s an order to things and if you don’t follow you don’t need to be around.”

ILDARUNI Launch Final Single ‘Zurvan Akrane’ from Upcoming Album

Check out Ildaruni’s 3rd single “Zurvan Akrane”, taken from the forthcoming album “Divinum Sanguinem”. The new album will be out on the 7th of November, 2025, via Black Lion Records.

Ildaruni stands as a force of unrelenting and immersive black metal, channeling an atmosphere that is both ferocious and transcendental. Its music captures intensity through towering soundscapes, layered with precision and aggression, while their lyrical vision delves into the arcane mysteries of worlds long past. With a sharpened focus and a blazing presence, Ildaruni are set to ignite the scene once again with their long-awaited, commanding black metal invocations.

Pre-order the album at  https://lnk.to/Ildaruni-DivinumSanguinem

Ildaruni’s new album marks a powerful evolution, moving away from their pagan/folk roots to fully embrace raw, atmospheric black metal. Inspired by ancient mysticism and lore, the record weaves dark, immersive soundscapes featuring melodic chanting, authentic choir, and grand orchestral arrangements.

A New Era Is Unveiled…

Ancient darkened rites and forgotten mythos converge, awakening a slumbering force from the gilded shrine. The trumpets of damnation shall sound seven times, summoning from the void the god of covenants. With spite and thirst, the fire-born shall raise the sulfur dagger profane to scald and shed the blood, presaging new woeful revelation.

Nine ominous initiations that are set to transform you into the storm of nomos and burning gnosis. A work of mystical upheaval, a sermon to the bestower of creed who will guide through the ghastly pathways to the ladders of Apothanaitismos!

Thy alone is his wreath! The spewed sacred blood is the essence of divine mysteries, pulverized and accursed, is the hollowed memory that hierophants passed on, is the forbidden knowledge, erased and incinerated, yet alive in ashes! A ritual of divine bloodletting is about to unfold, and you are invited to revel in its might.

Track list
1 Mithras Alone is My Wreath
2 The Ascension of Kosmokrator
3 Of Nomos and Flaming Flint Stone
4 Forged with Glaive and Blood

ELETTRA STORM Release New Video ‘Hero Among Heroes’

Elettra Storm has released a video for “Hero Among Heroes”, third single taken from the new album “Evertale” to be released on October 24 by Scarlet Records.

This song pays homage to the ’80s melodic metal, but it’s still a contemporary power metal song with its addictive vocal lines, groovy drums patterns and intertwined guitar and keytar solo. Everyone of us has his/her personal hero, and many times it’s the person right next to you. Life itself is the biggest adventure: there are monsters, treasures, battles that must be fought, secrets that need to be revealed, and it’s priceless to share it all with someone you truly love and respect.

video by Alessio Pallante/Skystrings Production

“Evertale”:

  • sophomore album for the Italian power metal rising force after the successful debut “Powerlords”;
  • mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio (Wind Rose, Vision Divine, Twilight Force); vocals tracking by Skystrings Production; drums tracking by Artesonika Studio;
  • cover & artwork by Sheila Franco (Hell In The Club);
  • FFO: Stratovarius, Rhapsody Of Fire, DragonForce, Battle Beast, Frozen Crown;

“Evertale” tracklist:
1 Endgame
2 The Secrets Of The Universe
3 Hero Among Heroes
4 Blue Phoenix
5 Ride The Rainbow
6 Master Of Fairytales
7 One Last Ray Of Light
8 Judgment Time
9 If The Stars Could Cry

Total running time – 44:59

artwork by Sheila Franco

Elettra Storm took the power metal scene by… storm with the flawless 2024’s debut album “Powerlords”. Now they made a huge step forward, though, and the sound of “Evertale” is even more defined and cohesive.

Every band’s member had the chance to get the spotlight with his own style and personality, and the songs are more technical: some carry a proggy flavor, some other bring on the table the fury of speed power metal – but all of them are direct and catchy at the same time, with soaring melodies that will linger in the brain since the first spin and another stellar performance by charismatic frontwoman Crystal Emiliani.

Lyrically-wise, “Evertale” is a chest of wonders – like Micheal Ende’s “Neverending Story”, this record is a thrilling celebration of storytelling: each song tells its own story indeed, and the listener will find the drama of war, the desire for revenge, the journey of a hero, the mysteries of the ancient ones and much more.

Elettra Storm:
Crystal Emiliani – vocals
Francis D. Mary – guitar, vocals
Matteo Antoni – guitar
Davide Sportiello – keyboards, bass
Matteo Norbedo – drums
