Yesterday (October 3) MEGADETH unveiled “Tipping Point” as the first single and video from their forthcoming self-titled final album due out in 2026 via DAVE MUSTAINE’s Tradecraft imprint in partnership with Frontiers Label Group’s new BLKIIBLK label.  The sonically explosive and lyrically unflinching song kicks off with a thunderous guitar solo before DAVE’s iconic voice hauntingly kicks in.  In the desolate but hopeful accompanying video, directed by Leonardo Liberti, DAVE is locked up in a prison being tortured in extreme fashion, while the band performs in the same lock-up.  In the end DAVE perseveres evil and walks away into a new day. Watch the video HERE and listen to the song HERE.

“We all have different ‘tipping points’ and they may vary from day to day,” says MUSTAINE.  “I think we’re all being pushed to the edge right now, and it’s easy to lean into that feeling. But it’s important not to let things get you down.”

MEGADETH—Mustaine, Teemu Mäntysaari (Lead, Rhythm, and Acoustic Guitars), James LoMenzo (Bass Guitar) and Dirk Verbeuren (Drums)—will release their forthcoming self-titled album in 2026.  Pre-order the album HERE and stay tuned for more news about the album in the coming weeks.

Earlier this year, MUSTAINE revealed in a social post directly shared with his worldwide fanbase and Cyber Army that the forthcoming album will mark the final studio album from MEGADETH, who’ve sold over 50 million records worldwide and received a GRAMMY® Award (with 12 additional nominations).
He shared the announcement of the album and tour via his alter ego Vic Rattlehead.  Also set for next year is a new memoir from MUSTAINE, details of which will be revealed in the coming months.

Fans can click HERE to register for early access to exclusive information and offers surrounding the album and all MEGADETH news.  In addition, look for the initial run of farewell tour dates to be announced later this year.

About Megadeth
MEGADETH are always and forever the point of no return for metal. It would be nearly impossible to conceive where heavy music and culture would’ve gone without the band founded, fronted, and fueled by vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and producer Dave Mustaine. The blast radius of their impact has only magnified since 1983. Thus far, they have sold 50 million records worldwide, received a GRAMMY® Award (with 12 additional nominations), generated billions of streams, notched seven Top 10 entries on the Billboard 200, and enthralled millions of diehard fans in arenas and stadiums across the globe. Their catalog spans indisputable classics such as the platinum Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying? (cited at #8 on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time”), the platinum Rust In Peace, and double-platinum Countdown To Extinction, which captured #2 on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, Dystopia notched a Top 3 debut and earned a GRAMMY® Award in the category of “Best Metal Performance” with its title track. They only upped the ferocity with The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! in 2022. It saw them return to #3, receive a “Best Metal Performance” GRAMMY® Award nomination for “We’ll Be Back,” and incite rave reviews. Their influence can be felt practically everywhere—whether it be Post Malone proudly sporting a tattoo of “So Far, So Good… So What!,” Homer Simpson’s iPod displaying their moniker during an episode, or Showtime’s smash hit series Billions and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey utilizing MEGADETH in plot points. The band have delivered simultaneously relevant and timeless records in five decades now, setting the pace for the thrash renaissance of the eighties, tearing through the MTV years of the nineties with swagger and style, maintaining their stride in the post-Y2K 2000s, elevating to canonical heights in the social media and streaming era of the 2010s, and unassumingly harnessing the uncertainty and unease of the Post-Pandemic world into their boldest, biggest, and best work yet.

Along the way, MEGADETH extended their influence even further. During 2016, the band entered the spirits world with their very first signature beer À Tout Le Monde followed by Saison 13 in 2019. The brand asserted itself as a player in the beverage space and impressively moved over 15 million pints. Joining forces with Keystone in 2025, they ignite the next phase of Megadeth Beer on the biggest global platform yet.

Beyond his role as a music icon, Dave founded the visionary wine brand HOUSE OF MUSTAINE which uniquely blends music, culture, and fine winemaking.  The brand launched with the 2013 Symphony Interrupted Cabernet Sauvignon which was inspired by Dave Mustaine’s groundbreaking collaboration with the San Diego Symphony.

SIENA ROOT’s Double Live Album “Made In Kuba” Out Now

“Dynamic Root Rock Experience” is still the best term to describe SIENA ROOT’s music, and that’s also exactly what the Swedish quartet’s new double live album “Made in KuBa” is all about. Named after the location of its creation, Jena, Germany’s Kulturbahnhof (short form: KuBa), the follow-up to the band’s previous, highly-acclaimed live document “Root Jam” (2011) takes off where its predecessor left off in many ways.  “Made in KuBa” is out now via Perception – a Division of Reigning Phoenix Music.

Recorded during three intimate concert nights in March 2024, the result is, of course, an all-analogue recording which continues the traditional way of capturing the audiophile band’s art. Where many artists would hesitate to bring a full-on tape recorder to a live event, it’s totally given for SIENA ROOT to do so in a no-compromise fashion. “Made in KuBa” isn’t only another live album but a comprehensive experience in its purest form: no overdubs were added and no tricks were used in the studio afterwards. Once again, the songs you can hear are strictly what’s played and bring the energy all the way from the stage to the speakers of the Swede’s fans. The outfit’s much-loved jams are there, lots of improvisation as well as the whole spectra from light to shade, and to ensure the all-analogue quality control, sound engineer Ove Noring, who’s been working with the band all the way since 2006’s “Kaleidoscope,” was brought in as tape operator to record SIENA ROOT’s shows at the iconic KuBa venue.

So what’s new? In order to make “Made In KuBa” no simple repetition of their “Root Jam” concept though, SIENA ROOT went for a bunch of refreshing ideas with the first one being the scenery. As mentioned, the band travelled all the way to Jena this time, where they found the perfect surroundings at Kulturbahnhof. “We couldn’t have been happier: KuBa was exactly the place to be after we had experienced countless memorable concerts there throughout the years,” they recall. While the musical spine of SIENA ROOT is a quartet — consisting of long-time and founding members Sam Riffer (bass) and Love Forsberg (drums & percussion), completed by Zubaida Solid (vocals & keys) and Johan Borgström (guitars), who both joined their ranks after the release of “Root Jam” — they were also supported by two talented guests for a number of songs to make this special occasion more unique: long-time brother in arms Erik Peterson (keys) and Lisa Isaksson (flute). Additionally, the forthcoming opus consists of songs from the group’s entire catalogue which aren’t featured songs on “Root Jam” at all, and to thank their loyal fans, SIENA ROOT even involved them in creating the set list. They add: “We knew that not each and every fan from around the world would be able to witness these historic nights, that’s why we decided to have them included by influencing the “Made In KuBa” track listing.”

In the end, “Made In KuBa” includes twelve wisely picked tracks which can be enjoyed from October 3, 2025 – brought to the world through PERCEPTION. And it’ll be available in various formats: CD, digital, and – most importantly – vinyl. A version which has always been a crucial factor throughout SIENA ROOT’s career, who even pressed their 2004 debut album “A New Day Dawning” on the ‘black gold’ when the returning vinyl boom was still in the distant future. The band prefer the traditional way of listening and therefore took extra-care of its execution. Mastered at half-speed, SIENA ROOT technically reflect on the old days in this case. They conclude: “Half-speed mastering’ is a trick of the past that the vinyl junkies out there should be familiar with. It’s just a very delicate yet complicated process of cutting that makes “Made In KuBa” an even more three-dimensional listening pleasure for both you and us!” Enough said: now it’s the world’s turn to enjoy and to catch the group live during their supporting “Double Live Release Tour” across Europe in October 2025, if you like what you hear!

Order it here online or visit your favorite local record store for the full analogue experience!

MALOTA Release Second Single And Video ‘Nermin’ from Upcoming Album

Italian psych stoner rock outfit MALOTA continues the lead-up to their upcoming album “Scapegoat” – out October 10 via Go Down Records – with the release of a brand new single, “Nermin”.

The track showcases MALOTA’s signature blend of heavy riffing, hypnotic grooves, and psychedelic textures, further hinting at the raw energy and depth of “Scapegoat”. “Nermin” is accompanied by a brand new music video, which you can watch here:

The band about “Nermin”: “The song recalls the events of Srebrenica in 1995, when one of the gravest genocides of the postwar era was perpetrated on its outskirts by Serbian forces, under the indifference of NATO and the UN. Crying out his son’s name—Nermin—with the last shreds of hope, Ramo Osmanović implores him to come out of the woods and surrender to the Serbs, believing they would spare him and even provide food… Both father and son would instead be killed by those very men, as well as by the betrayal of those who should have protected them: the international community. There is no message of hope, no redemption. The world has learned nothing from its recent history. We see it again today in the Palestinian genocide, carried out by the Nazi-Israeli regime.“

Tracklist:

  1. Clemency
  2. Zouari Brigade
  3. Nermin
  4. …but Deliver Us from Pain
  5. Космонавт Pt 2 1st Movement – Descent
  6. Космонавт Pt 2 2nd Movement – Homecoming
  7. In a Common Grave
  8. Until the Next Nuclear Holocaust

“Scapegoat” marks MALOTA’s sophomore studio album, with its title evoking the imagery of a sacrificial lamb. This concept symbolizes the degradation permeating our world, the anguish born from hatred and fanaticism, and the profound fear of isolation. In this new chapter, the band takes a distinct sonic turn. Rhythms are described as slowing to a menacing crawl, melodies become darker and more foreboding, and the vocals carve out a raw, visceral space filled with screams and despair. The rock influences prominent in their earlier work are set aside in favor of a metallic, gritty, and monolithic sound, characterized by tension and an unyielding, uncompromising edge.

The album’s striking cover features a woman locking eyes with the viewer, her silent gaze heavy with judgment. She embodies all those who have suffered – and continue to suffer – at the hands of ignorance, cruelty, and a toxic culture shaped by a male-dominated world. With “Scapegoat”, MALOTA delves deep into the intricacies of human relationships and the pervasive anxiety of facing an uncertain future. The album reflects on the violence of conflicts, both past and present, channeling a profound sense of unease and disillusionment with contemporary society.

“Scapegoat” will be out on October 10 via Go Down Records and is available for pre-order at THIS LOCATION

MALOTA are:
Max D’Ospina | bass, piano, didjeridoo, vocals
Alberto Montagner | guitars
Massimo Battistella | guitars, backing vocals
Roberto ‘Mariuz’ Mariuzzo | drums, percussion, lead vocals on ‘Clemency’, backing vocals

Hard rock band Bastion Rose is set to release their new single, “Atlas Slumbers,” on Friday, October 3rd. The powerful new track will serve as a preview of their highly anticipated full-length debut album, Traces of Gold, which will be available everywhere on Friday, November 7th. Both the album and single were produced by three-time Grammy-winner David Bottrill (Tool, Rush, Godsmack, Mastodon, Coheed and Cambria, Muse).

“Atlas Slumbers” tackles a profound concept, reimagining the Greek myth of Atlas. The song’s narrative follows a weary Atlas as he makes the ultimate choice to abandon his burden and let the world fall. The lyrics explore the struggle of shouldering immense weight and the ultimate liberation found in letting go. With powerful riffs and a cathartic build, the song is a compelling blend of classic rock’s darker angels and the modern intensity of post-grunge and metal.

ELEMENT Release Cover of KANSAS’ Classic ‘Carry On My Wayward Son’

Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: ELEMENT. Leave a comment

Wanikiya Record/Promotion is proud to announce the release of the new single by ELEMENT: the cover of “Carry On My Wayward Son” by Kansas.

Born from the encounter of two different musical souls, ELEMENT explore the perfect balance between power and delicacy, merging the strong riffs of the guitar with the refined melodies of jazz piano. Their most recent project, “Essence of Earth”, is not just an album, but a true story of rebirth, resilience, and strength: an anthem to the individual’s ability to rise again and face the challenges of a world that never stops.

The project was created through the collaboration between guitarist Antonio Pollizzi and pianist Giusy Morabito, two artists who managed to combine the grit of rock with the sensitivity of jazz in perfect harmony. Enriching the sound are talented musicians: drummer Omar Cappetti (Any Face, Headless Ghost), bassist Christian Polloni, and singer Maxime Tosi, whose experience and unique touch brought to life an authentic and intense work.

Each track of “Essence of Earth”, their new album released on March 20, is a manifesto of resilience and hope – a sonic contrast where every note expresses both the power of the earth and the delicacy of emotions.

With the single “Carry On My Wayward Son”, ELEMENT pay tribute to an icon of 70s progressive rock, reinterpreting the song with their own artistic sensibility. The choice of this cover is no coincidence: its lyrics, which encourage perseverance and promise peace once the goal is reached, perfectly mirror the themes of “Essence of Earth” – the journey, resilience, and the strength to keep moving forward despite difficulties.

The single is now available online. A new interpretation that bridges classic and modern, marked by ELEMENT’s distinctive signature – a band ready to leave an indelible mark on today’s music scene.
