Sanctum Pyre is a new musical project formed by three people from different corners of the world, united by a shared need to express themselves through music.
The band was born from personal struggles, losses, and questions that never found easy answers. These lyrics aren’t written to impress, but to speak — to the sleepless nights, to the silent burdens, and to the deep desire for redemption.
Their sound is epic, yet infused with oriental colors, heavy riffs, and sweeping symphonic passages. Melodies that build — and break — entire inner worlds.
On vocals is Rob Lundgren, known for his solo work and international collaborations within the metal scene.
Composition and production were crafted by Nikos Tzouannis, while Mike G. handled mixing and the sonic foundation of the project.
Their debut single, “Break Thy Chains”, is a song about the feeling of being trapped — not by someone else, but by yourself.
Sanctum Pyre means “sacred fire.” And each song is exactly that — a kind of offering.

The band says about “Farewell“: “It’s a track that gradually took shape. Juan Miguel came up with the idea for the intro, and we wanted a heavy riff right after that. Once we found the right riff, the song flowed naturally from there. We like that it has a groove a bit different from other KILL CITY songs, and the lyrics convey that process of saying goodbye to the past in order to make way for a better tomorrow. It’s a song we really enjoy playing live, and we hope our fans enjoy it as much as we do.”

Rock legends Mötley Crüe today announced a special 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Deluxe Box Set for Theatre Of Pain, out November 14th via BMG.
Released in June of 1985, Theatre of Painmarked a bold new chapter for Mötley Crüe – stylistically daring, musically explosive, and unapologetically street glam.
Fueled by the swagger of “Smokin’ In The Boys Room” and the anthemic pull of “Home Sweet Home”, the Crüe’s third studio album broke new ground while staying true to their hard rock roots. This trailblazing album set the music and style template for many bands that followed, while the Crüe themselves continued to evolve and reinvent their look and sound with each album.
Theatre Of Pain was their first LP to hit the US Top 10, landing at #6, and became a global smash (#7 Australia, #7 Sweden, #5 Finland, #11 Canada, first UK Top 40 at #36). The album is now RIAA Certified 4X Platinum in the US and 3X Platinum in Canada.
The lead single, their cover of “Smokin’ In The Boys Room,” became their first US Top 20 hit, reaching #16. Earlier this month, the band stormed back onto the Las Vegas Strip launching their new show, The Las Vegas Residency 2025, at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Continuing through Friday, Oct. 3, the residency marks the band’s third Vegas takeover and its first in more than a decade. A limited amount of tickets for the remaining four performances is available HERE.
As previously announced, Mötley Crüe are donating a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales of The Las Vegas Residency 2025 to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY), a Las Vegas-based organization that provides the thousands of young people experiencing homelessness in Southern Nevada with wraparound support to help move into stable housing, grow and flourish.

This emotionally charged release unites the titans of British heavy metal one last time in a project born from friendship, mutual respect and a shared mission to fight Parkinson’s disease – a cause close to the hearts of both bands. About DAVID REECE: American singer David Reece first came to international prominence in the hard rock community joining Accept in 1987, replacing the iconic Udo Dirkschneider. With Accept he released the “Eat The Heat” album in 1989, a record that while somewhat divisive within Accepts more die-hard European fanbase, has no shortage of acclaim in equal measure from the wider hard rock and AOR community. David’s voice was a perfect fit for both the more streamlined American heavy rock direction the band wanted to pursue at the time and the Heavy Metal stylings that are still found in great abundance on the record. Thus, songs like Generation Clash and XTC fast became staples of late 80’s rock radio and fan favorites to the present day.
After departing Accept in 1990 David wasted no time in forming Bangalore Choir, a band that would showcase his immense vocal talents combined with first rate songwriting. Released via Giant Records in 1992, the bands debut album “On Target” has become an album held dear to lovers of melodic heavy rock the world over. Timing being everything, sadly the change of radio programming toward the then emerging Grunge movement halted a very promising young band from making the global impact it very well might have had if the album had arrived some years earlier.
David has gone on since to front many bands such as Bonfire, Wicked Sensation, EZ Livin’ and more recently Iron Allies, but he has always felt there was unfinished business with Bangalore Choir, revisiting the project with the occasional release….which brings us right up to date, the latest Bangalore Choir album … Its title a guarded secret at this stage. Needless to say, if you wanted more of what you loved about “On Target” this one will truly hit the mark.
KORYPHEUS is a progressive metal/djent band hailing from Kyiv, Ukraine. The band has already got two albums under its belt – EP “Blessed” (2018) and LP “Over the Rainbow” (2020) released via M&O Music (France). The band has gained recognition for its powerful music and has been active in the metal scene with various projects. The band was nominated for the Best Ukrainian Metal Act Award in 2020.
Music for 3rd studio album “Gilgamesh” was mixed by Dmitri Kim (Khors, Mind Conflict, Ignea) and mastered by Jay Ruston at TRS West Studio (Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Avatar, Corey Taylor, Stone Sour). Cover artwork was done by Viktor Safonkin, a famous surrealist painter. On that album few guests were performed:

New album “Gilgamesh” is released today (September 26, 2025) in cooperation with Amercian label M-Theory Audio (Fractal Universe, Varmia, Sworn Enemy) in digital format, as jewelcase CD and limited coloured vinyl limited to 300 pcs.
This is how leader of the band comments their upcoming album: “This conceptual album tells stories of times bygone and present. Gilgamesh and Icarus, Odysseus and Avatar freed from its karma. The king sleeping under the hill. Holy war as continous as life under the sun. “Avatar” captured the spirit of the live performances by Andy Gushin and intricate neoclassical approach by Oleg Kokotun“.
