ELETTRA STORM Release New Single ‘Ride The Rainbow’

Elettra Storm has released “Ride The Rainbow”, second single taken from the new album “Evertale” to be released on October 24 by Scarlet Records.

This dreamy mid-tempo shows the most introspective and emotional side of Elettra Stom. The piano intro, the moody verse, the haunting hook and the heartbreaking solo could remind the listener the times when metal singles aired on MTV in prime time. It’s a song about the dreams of a father, how his life changed, and all the challenges he’ll have to face and the joys he’s going to taste in raising a son. They’ll share fantasies and games, hopes and fears, with only the sky as the limit.

“Evertale”:

  • sophomore album for the Italian power metal rising force after the successful debut “Powerlords”;
  • mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio (Wind Rose, Vision Divine, Twilight Force); vocals tracking by Skystrings Production; drums tracking by Artesonika Studio;
  • cover & artwork by Sheila Franco (Hell In The Club);
  • FFO: Stratovarius, Rhapsody Of Fire, DragonForce, Battle Beast, Frozen Crown;

“Evertale” tracklist:

1 Endgame
2 The Secrets Of The Universe
3 Hero Among Heroes
4 Blue Phoenix
5 Ride The Rainbow
6 Master Of Fairytales
7 One Last Ray Of Light
8 Judgment Time
9 If The Stars Could Cry

Total running time – 44:59

artwork by Sheila Franco

Elettra Storm took the power metal scene by… storm with the flawless 2024’s debut album “Powerlords”. Now they made a huge step forward, though, and the sound of “Evertale” is even more defined and cohesive.

Every band’s member had the chance to get the spotlight with his own style and personality, and the songs are more technical: some carry a proggy flavor, some other bring on the table the fury of speed power metal – but all of them are direct and catchy at the same time, with soaring melodies that will linger in the brain since the first spin and another stellar performance by charismatic frontwoman Crystal Emiliani.

Lyrically-wise, “Evertale” is a chest of wonders – like Micheal Ende’s “Neverending Story”, this record is a thrilling celebration of storytelling: each song tells its own story indeed, and the listener will find the drama of war, the desire for revenge, the journey of a hero, the mysteries of the ancient ones and much more.

Elettra Storm:
Crystal Emiliani – vocals
Francis D. Mary – guitar, vocals
Matteo Antoni – guitar
Davide Sportiello – keyboards, bass
Matteo Norbedo – drums

London-based alternative progressive rock band Temples on Mars are back with their brand-new single Safeword, the latest track from their upcoming full-length album The Last Ship, set for release on 31st October 2025.

“We are over the moon to finally be back with our brand new single Safeword,” the band share. “This is our first release since July 2023 and we are very grateful to be able to return. We have had a lot going on outside of the band with births, family tragedy, illnesses, other projects etc, all on top of the realities of being in a small band in a highly competitive industry so our timeline just kept moving back. Although lyrically the song is about having a safe word to make things stop, the reality is quite the opposite. Coming back with this single is a show of resilience which is very much part of the Temples on Mars DNA. So many times, it would have been a lot easier to just walk away but we have kept grinding. Musically it is a new direction for Temples on Mars and leans towards the electronic side of our sound more so than the heavy.”

Recorded between London and Los Angeles, Safeword was produced by Darren Carikas and James Donaldson, and mastered by Grammy Award-winning engineer Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound, Nashville.

Speaking on the track’s origins, frontman James Donaldson adds, “Believe it or not the original idea for ‘Safeword’ was a heavy Rammstein-esque riff. I just couldn’t get it to work overall so I left it alone for a while and decided to take it all apart and approach it from a completely different angle which became the Safeword you hear today. At that point in time there were lots of things going on in my life; kind of enough that I wished I had a safe word to make it all stop and just get a breather somewhere comforting and beautiful.”

Formed in 2018, Temples on Mars have steadily carved out a name for themselves with their unique blend of progressive heaviness and electronic textures. Their self-titled debut album, released via Primordial Records, garnered international acclaim and led to tours across the UK, Europe, and South Africa. Follow-up EP Parallels V.1 showcased the band’s darker electronic side, further expanding their sonic identity.

With a post-pandemic resurgence on the live circuit, including performances at Download Festival UK and Radar Festival, Temples on Mars are now gearing up for their most ambitious release yet. The forthcoming album—featuring contributions from renowned drummer Josh Freese (Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses)—continues to push boundaries, highlighting both their accessible hooks and uncompromising heaviness.

Earlier singles “Sleepwalking into Extinction” and “Daydreamer” made waves internationally, breaking into the Radioscope Top 40 Rock Charts in New Zealand, while “Smile” added a grungy existential edge to their repertoire. “Safeword” now marks the next chapter in the band’s evolution—a powerful statement of resilience, reinvention, and forward momentum.

Italian Prog Metallers AETHERNA Release New Single ‘Screaming Silence’ with Lyric Video

Posted by tarjavirmakari on September 26, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: AETHERNA. Leave a comment

Volcano Records & Promotion is proud to announce the release of ‘Screaming Silence’, the new single by AETHERNA, available from today, September 26 on all digital platforms.

The Rome-based band, one of the most solid and compelling acts in the Italian heavy metal scene, returns with a track that is not just a release, but a true manifesto of identity and inner resistance. With a sound that blends the raw power of heavy metal with alternative nuances and refined progressive textures, Screaming Silence portrays silence as an act of strength, as the pure expression of those who refuse to bend to the external noise made of judgment, misunderstanding, and fear. In this silence that becomes a scream lies the path of those who confront the chaos of the world without losing their essence, turning vulnerability into awareness, and awareness into freedom. The song, running for nearly six minutes, is built on a crescendo of tension and intensity that bursts into a liberating chorus, driven by the powerful and charismatic voice of Tamara Secci, capable of moving seamlessly from dark atmospheres to soaring melodic lines. Supporting her are the razor-sharp guitars of Vincenzo Zappatore and Vittorio D. Flumeri, the solid bass lines of Marco Di Marco, and the rhythmic impact of drummer Giovanni “Joey” Del Giudice, whose energy gives the track an unstoppable drive. Screaming Silence is much more than a single: it is a preview of the new artistic journey that will lead Aetherna to the release of their second album in 2025, and it testifies to the growth of a band that over the years has made its mark live as well, sharing the stage with artists such as Michael A. Batio, Pino Scotto, Lacuna Coil, and Dave Ellefson of Megadeth.

The official lyric video, characterized by a strong visual and symbolic component that amplifies the song’s message, is now available on YouTube:
