Austrian progressive heavy psych quartet Mother Morgana unveil the full details of their forthcoming album, “Reflections of a Sunken Mind”, set for release on November 27, 2026 via Argonauta Records on CD, colored vinyl and digital formats.

Emerging from the underground scene of Graz, Mother Morgana have spent the past years developing a sound where progressive rock, psychedelic textures, stoner heaviness and cinematic songwriting converge. Their music has always been closely connected to storytelling, with each album conceived as an immersive journey rather than simply a collection of songs.

With “Reflections of a Sunken Mind”, the band takes this approach further than ever before.

Dark, atmospheric and deeply introspective, the album was shaped around the social ruptures and psychological scars left by war, exploring the mechanisms of indoctrination and the struggle to preserve individual thought in an increasingly fractured world.

Mother Morgana explain:

“In Reflections of a Sunken Mind, we’ve tried to channel social ruptures and the trauma of war into a dark concept album. By blending searing analog synthesizers with a raw, natural live-recording sound, we have constructed a (mind) stage where the cauterizing power of indoctrination clashes with the Kantian call to sapere aude in an age of global conflict.”

Musically, “Reflections of a Sunken Mind” continues the heavier direction established on 2022’s “Rise”, while opening new atmospheric dimensions through haunting analog synthesizers, vintage textures, intricate arrangements and the band’s characteristic ability to move between crushing riffs and expansive psychedelic passages.

Following “Janushead”, Mother Morgana now reveal the album’s second single, “Relic”, offering another glimpse into the strange and emotionally charged world of “Reflections of a Sunken Mind”.

On the new track, the band comments:

“With the rocking triplet groove, the heavy words lose some of their weight. The sad, jazzy bridge shows the pain of the past, the eerie slide guitar overlays makes you feel like you are sitting by the sea, hearing distant sounds that could be hopeful whales or dangerous sirens, but in this moment, they are far away, bringing only relief.

We like that twist between the music and the lyrics: It feels like finding absolution in your own very lonely safe-place, with some sunrays breaking through the cloudy sky while the seagulls sing your songs. You have been here for a very long time…”

German hard rock veterans Jaded Heart are thrilled to announce their return with the new studio album “Toxic”, their debut release with Frontiers Music Srl, and scheduled for January 15, 2027.

To celebrate, the band share the first single and official video, “One By One”, available below.

The band commented: “With “One by One”, we present one of the most melodic and riff-driven tracks from our upcoming album. The song holds a special place for Peter, as it was written together with his oldest friend and Eclipse guitarist, Magnus Henriksson. During a songwriting session in Peter’s home studio, the two of them spent an intense and highly creative period writing three songs that would eventually become part of “Toxic”. “One by One” quickly turned into something special. From the very first ideas, the melodies and riffs seemed to fall into place naturally. The result was a melodic home run, combining heavy guitar riffs, strong melodies and classic hard rock.”

“The lyrics were written by our vocalist Johan Fahlberg, adding another important dimension to the song and completing the combination of powerful music and melody. For us, it is this combination of melody and heaviness that makes “One by One” a song that truly represents Jaded Heart and the sound of Toxic”, they added. “It is hard rock with power and attitude, while at the same time being driven by a strong melodic edge. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.”

Pre-Order “Toxic” HERE

After more than four years, Jaded Heart are back with a brand-new full-length album, a powerful new chapter. “Toxic” delivers everything fans have come to expect from Jaded Heart, while keeping the songwriting fresh and focused: direct, powerful hard rock songs, massive choruses, memorable melodies and a rock-solid production that gives every track the impact it deserves.

The band stated: “With “Toxic”, we have brought together everything that we feel represents Jaded Heart: strong melodies, heavy guitar riffs, powerful vocals and the unmistakable energy of classic hard rock. From the first song to the last, the album is driven by memorable hooks and a strong balance between melody and heaviness. The album features the songs “One By One”, “We Come Alive” and “Hell Driver”, each showing a different side of “Toxic” while sharing the same strong melodic foundation that runs throughout the album.”

“The title track, “Toxic”, adds another powerful dimension to the album, combining hard-hitting guitars with the melodic approach that has always been an important part of our sound. We also wanted to look back at our own history with a brand-new acoustic version of “Remembering”, originally released on our 2016 album “Guilty By Design”. This new arrangement gives the song a completely different atmosphere and allows us to show a more intimate side of Jaded Heart”, they continued.

“Toxic” is our first full-length album in more than four years, and we are extremely proud of what we have created. It is an album packed with strong songs, powerful performances, heavy guitars and the unmistakable melodies that have always been at the heart of Jaded Heart. We are very excited to finally share “Toxic” with you. Jaded Heart is back!”

From the opening notes to the final song, the album showcases a band that knows exactly how to write great hard rock without overcomplicating things. Big guitars, strong vocals, infectious hooks and an energetic performance come together to create a record that feels immediate, authentic and built for both the stage and the speakers.

With Toxic, Jaded Heart prove that experience and passion are a powerful combination. This is the sound of a great band returning to the spotlight with some of their strongest material yet.

JASMENO’s Crucial Third Studio Album “Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms” Out Now

Posted by tarjavirmakari on September 23, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: JASMENO. Leave a comment

JASMENO was founded in the autumn of 2017 by Sławomir Nietupski, who is responsible for keyboards, synthesizers and programming. The project’s discography includes three releases: “Jasmeno” (2020), “Elixir” (2021) and EP “Lucid Horizon” (2022). Its music combines elements of progressive rock with melodic electronica inspired by the sounds of the 1970s and 1980s.

After an absence of nearly four years, JASMENO returns with “Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms”, an album that marks a significant shift in the project’s artistic direction. The material has a distinctly cinematic character and is built around the sound of a virtual symphony orchestra. Its concept was inspired by the work of Władysław Hasior, who created multilayered compositions from seemingly incompatible fragments of reality. In a similar way, Sławomir Nietupski brings together a variety of styles, sounds and artistic personalities on the album.

The word “assemblage” in the title refers to the process of creating a coherent whole from diverse elements, while “cinematic idioms” highlights the narrative and evocative nature of the music, which unfolds like a soundtrack to a film that does not exist. The album features six elaborate compositions with a total running time of nearly 50 minutes. Based on lyrics by poet Izabela Turska-Kamrowska, the songs explore everyday doubts and emotions, feelings of separation and alienation, as well as the search for faith and joy in everyday life.

The album’s instrumental foundation is co-created by guitarist Michał Grall of Unblessed Divine, formerly of Sinister, and bassist Artur Ołkowicz, known from Mechanism and Art of Illusion. Brian Gawaski’s powerful vocals also play an essential role in defining the character of the material. The album features numerous guest artists, including Bartłomiej Krysiuk of Patriarkh, Marc Grewe of Morgoth, Snorre Ruch of Thorns, Yusaf Parvez of DHG/Dødheimsgard, Sławomir Maryniewski of Armagedon, Mariusz Domaradzki of Yattering and Ryszard Kramarski of Millenium, as well as Lecia Louise, Sasha Janowicz, Joanna Zondłowska, Łukasz Kowalski, Tomasz Andrzejewski and Robert Kołakowski.

The album was mixed and mastered by Jakub Mańkowski, whose credits include collaborations with Behemoth, Czesław Mozil, Justyna Steczkowska, Me and That Man and Blindead. The JASMENO logo was designed by Christophe Szpajdel, known for his work with Emperor, Aborted and Lorna Shore. Project founder Sławomir Nietupski was responsible for the graphic design, album layout and hand-painted watercolour illustrations, while the band’s photo shoot was created by Agnieszka Stawrosiejko from Colleen Cummings.

“Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms” was released on September 11, 2026, via Tangled Records in physical format (CD, LP, MC) and September 21, 2026 in all popular streaming platforms (smart link URL). Orders could be purchased at Bandcamp.

Sławomir Nietupski comments:

“It is a musical assemblage in its purest form: built from diverse fragments and personalities, yet brought together under a single artistic vision. Much like Hasior’s work, it is not about easily accessible beauty, but about the intensity of the experience and the creation of a unique, multilayered universe. The entire work was created without the use of artificial intelligence.“

Following a breakthrough year that has taken them from Monsters of Rock Brazil to major support shows with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Sammy Hagar, electrifying UK rock band JAYLER unveil an ambitious cinematic video for ‘The Getaway’, built around freedom, brotherhood and the thrill of moving towards the unknown.

Filmed at Cotswold Airport, the video places JAYLER (James Bartholomew, Tyler Arrowsmith, Ricky Hodgkiss, Ed Evans) against a vast backdrop of runways, industrial hangars and open skies, alongside two extraordinary machines: a 1965 Ford Mustang and a Yakovlev Yak-3 warbird. Beginning at sunrise, the band arrive together in the Mustang before performing at the airfield. Dramatic aircraft flyovers, sweeping runway sequences and Tyler’s rooftop solo build towards a climactic golden-hour finale.

“‘The Getaway’ isn’t about running away – it’s about heading towards something. It’s freedom, brotherhood and chasing whatever comes next. No destination. No explanation. Just The Getaway” – JAYLER

‘The Getaway’ arrives after a standout year for the band, which saw them recently open for Guns N’ Roses at Monsters of Rock Brazil, followed by a run opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd in Brazil and multiple UK shows with Sammy Hagar.

Released in May, JAYLER’s debut album, Voices Unheard, reached No. 2 on the UK Independent Album Breakers Chart, No. 3 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart and No. 5 on the Official Independent Albums Chart.

They now build on that momentum by joining rock legends Deep Purple as special guests for 37 arena shows across Europe and the UK, beginning in Sofia on 29 September and culminating at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 25 November.

Behind-the-scenes footage and live content captured on the road will continue the story of ‘The Getaway’ throughout the autumn, documenting JAYLER‘s journey as they bring their music to audiences across Europe.
