VELVETEEN QUEEN Release New Single Video ‘Too Far Gone’

Swedish hard-rock risers Velveteen Queen’s ‘Too Far Gone’ is the third single from their eagerly anticipated sophomore album, The Greater Good, set for release on September 18th via Silver Lining Music. Pre-orders are available at this location.

‘Too Far Gone’ bursts to life with an infectious rock ’n’ roll guitar riff, driving into crunching riffs before exploding into a larger-than-life, anthemic chorus. The accompanying video captures the band doing what they do best: commanding the stage, delivering a powerhouse performance, and embodying the raw energy and charisma that define true rock stars. Video directed by acclaimed filmmaker Patric Ullaeus.

“A swagger Rock ‘n’ Roll tune from our upcoming album. Down it, whip it, drink it and realize you’re Too Far Gone”– Velveteen Queen

Watch/Listen to ‘Too Far Gone’ here – video directed by Patric Ullaeus.

Velveteen Queen are rapidly emerging as one of the most exhilarating young acts in the modern rock scene, channeling the grit, swagger, and anthemic power of classic ’80s influences into a bold and contemporary sound. Having shared stages with Alice Cooper and Judas Priest, the five-piece have already built a reputation for their explosive live performances, undeniable stage presence and hook-laden rock songs.

The new album The Greater Good is a record which channels the strut of the Sunset Strip’s glory days via Sweden, with a healthy dash of old-school Guns N’ Roses, alongside spiritual ties to Aerosmith, Velvet Revolver and Hanoi Rocks. Produced by renowned producer Sören Andersen, there is an immediacy and vitality to Velveteen Queen’s songwriting that commands attention from the very first note. Take the bounce and groove of the glam-punk ‘Talk or Walk’, which boasts a huge choral hook and a snarling top lip of attitude. Meanwhile, ‘Liar’ is soaked in sleazy bad boy mean streets, with riffs swinging low and hard. Yet there’s also full ballad artistry on display with the soulful ‘Chains’, showing that Velveteen Queen can bring it down to strands of raw emotion.

Watch/Listen to the recently released singles ‘The Greater Good’ featuring Peter Keys (Lynyrd Skynyrd) on piano and ‘Adrenaline’ here. Both videos were directed by acclaimed filmmaker Patric Ullaeus.

The high-voltage energy captured on the record is set to ignite the stage, with Velveteen Queen poised to turn every show into a full-throttle rock ’n’ roll spectacle. Catch them live soon as they continue their relentless ascent, with the next chapter of their live journey set to propel the band even further towards rock ’n’ roll domination.

PRONG Unleash Explosive New Single & Music Video ‘The Banner’

Following the announcement of their forthcoming self-titled Napalm Records debut, out November 6, York alternative metal legends PRONG return to give fans their first taste of blood off the new record with “The Banner”. The incendiary album opener takes off at full throttle, with machine tight riffage propping up frontman Tommy Victor’s vicious barks with commanding stature. Mean and biting as the band has always been, this track sets the stage for the flurry of fury waiting within Prong.

About “The Banner” Tommy states:
“We are unbelievably excited to share the first single, ‘The Banner’, from our upcoming self-titled record. Andy Sneap’s mix and master is absolutely blistering and ferocious. This is just the beginning and we hope you enjoy it.”

As the band’s mission statement, Prong incorporates the well of styles their legacy is built on. Blistering thrash sections, open into lush choruses on opening anthem “The Banner”, before somehow pushing the intensity even further on “New Commission”. “The Uprising” reintroduces the band’s industrial edge, weaponizing textured synths over a pulsating two-step, before “Uncertain Truth” flexes its melodic chops, offering a transcendently sweet hook. Immediately the band dropkicks listeners in the chest with the pummeling “Fear The Sun” inciting classic New York Hardcore pit violence. Iconic vocalist and guitarist Tommy Victor’s chops come out in full swing on “Proportionate Response”, a smoldering incitement of retaliatory justice, before the blistering kicks of “Simulated Drowning” propel us forward. Album closer “Our Continuance” brings things to a cataclysmic close with its menacingly methodical pulse and pummelingly discordant breakdowns, tied together with a lush chorus amplified with swelling synth textures.

Mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap, the album sounds crisp and punchy, Victor’s biting lyrics confrontational and infiltrating, driving listeners to contemplate complex matters like the validity of truth, self-inhibitors, and altruism. Dynamically bold, ideologically driven, and melodically infectious, Prong honors their legacy, reminding us why the band has had such a successful longevity.

ARCHGOAT Premiere New Single ‘The Dawn To Armageddon’ from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 4, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: Archgoat. Leave a comment

Now in their 37th year of blasphemous brutality, legendary Finnish Black Metal iconoclasts ARCHGOAT remain one of the most single-minded and relentlessly visceral bands in extreme music. Ahead of the 11th September release of new album “Nightbringer, Lightbringer“, the Finnish legends now unleash a second angelslaying attack!

Listen to ‘The Dawn To Armageddon‘ below:

Composer Ritual Butcherer had this to say:

“The album’s concept moves through the ancient tension between Darkness and Light as twin emanations of the same hidden current. Darkness is not merely absence, and light is not merely revelation; both are gateways, both can blind, and both can consume. In that sense, the album deals with dualism as a ritual conflict, where creation and destruction, illumination and corruption, descent and ascension are bound together in the same occult cycle. The Nightbringer and the Lightbringer are reflections of one another: two masks worn to euthanise Christianity as the everlasting night drapes it and then as a Lightbringer of the new dawn of the Satanic Millenium. Armageddon is not presented as a final ending, but as the inevitable revelation of this cycle: the moment when all opposites collapse into one apocalyptic truth and the hidden current beneath existence rises to consume the world.“

ARCHGOAT first introduced “Nightbringer, Lightbringer” via the album’s deadly title-track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp17LXa1rCo

Find all album info here and follow the band for regular updates via Facebook!

Alongside the new album, ARCHGOAT‘s scene-defining 2006 debut “Whore Of Bethlehem” returns on September 11th in a long-awaited CD and vinyl repress, featuring a reworked layout in opaque red.

Listen to the full album via Bandcamp!

“Nightbringer, Lightbringer” and “Whore Of Bethlehem” are available in various editions – including exclusive DMP vinyl (already sold out) and exclusive DMP CD editions for the new album – and is accompanied by specially-crafted merchandise. Both records will be released on September 11th and are available to pre-order via DMP’s EU, US and Bandcamp shops!

ARCHGOAT have also announced live dates for 2026 and beyond:

26.09.2026 – Fuusio/Livesali, Turku [Finland]
06.11.2026 – Mass Destruction Metal Fest VIII, Atlanta [USA)
07.11.2026 – Chicago, Reggies Rock Club [USA]
08.11.2026 – Brooklyn, The Meadows [USA]
13.-15.05.2027 – Steelfest, Hyvinkää [Finland]

ARCHGOAT crawled from the deepest pits of hell to form in 1989, a demonic trio consisting of brothers Ritual Butcherer on guitars and Lord Angelslayer on vocals/bass, with Blood Desecrator handling drums. After a pair of initial demo tapes, in 1993 ARCHGOAT shook the Black Metal world with debut EP “Angelcunt (Tales of Desecration)“, showcasing a relentless and bestial blend of Black and Death Metal. After a growing dissolution with the Black Metal scene at large, and a disagreement with their then-record label Necropolis Records, ARCHGOAT vanished in late 1993.

In 2004 the gates reopened anew. ARCHGOAT returned initially with some long-lost material and then in 2006, the release of their groundbreaking first official full-length, “Whore of Bethlehem“. The band subsequently unleashed two more albums, 2009’s “The Light-Devouring Darkness“, and 2015’s “The Apocalyptic Triumphator” via new label Debemur Morti Productions, in addition to a series of splits, EPs, and compilations. Between releases ARCHGOAT carved out a deadly reputation via their malevolent live rituals, storming the shores of Europe, the US, and Mexico alongside bands such as BEHEXEN, BLACK WITCHERY, and HELL MILITIA.

2018 saw the band unleash “The Luciferian Crown“, their second full length for DMP, and an ungodly black sacrament of the kind that only ARCHGOAT can craft. In 2020, the live album “Black Mass XXX” was issued, capturing the angelslaying chaos present during the band’s September 2019 Paris performance.

2021 fifth album “Worship The Eternal Darkness” saw ARCHGOAT cement their well-earned reputation for consistency via a unique synthesis of occult Finnish Black/Death Metal, harsh Punk, primal Thrash and Grindcore. The follow-up and companion piece mini-album “All Christianity Ends” – a natural successor to the band’s first EP “Angelcunt” – was unleashed in 2022, channelling the rawness and devastation of the band’s earliest days in four gruesome new compositions.

Between 2022 and 2026, ARCHGOAT continued to propagate their darkness via numerous live rituals, reaching territories they had never desecrated before. Highlights include the band’s October 2024 headline performance at DMP’s Servants of Chaos festival in Germany, and in 2025, two highly successful tours across Latin America and China.

Now, in 2026, the Finnish Black Metal war machine returns with an unwaveringly destructive sixth album. Recorded in February at the Malmi Dungeon with Teemu Velin, “Nightbringer, Lightbringer” is scheduled for release on September 11th and see the band crown their 37th year with uncompromising brutality.

IGNEA Release Second Single ‘Darkness’ with Official Music Video

Ukrainian modern metal architects IGNEA further open the doors to their upcoming album Monumental, out on October 23, 2026 via Napalm Records, with the second single, “Darkness”. The song sets the emotional foundation for the album, which is set around the concept of nostalgia. “Darkness” explores finding comfort in memories even if they reveal cracks. Native to Kyiv, IGNEA have their own fair share of those, so the new song inevitably takes a bittersweet turn. Shifting between eerie, melancholic verses and grandiose, uplifting choruses before crescendoing into a live choir set against raw blast beats, the new song mirrors the emotional swing of nostalgia itself, the drift into shadow followed by sudden bursts of longing.

“Darkness” is paired with a music video shot in Ukraine’s capital city. The walk through Kyiv captures an additional theme of the album – the walk past modernist buildings representing a future that never arrived. Part of the video was filmed at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture — symbolically vital for an album about urban nostalgia, as its halls carry the energy of generations of students who trained there to build the very structures the video mourns.

With the very same buildings that once only held innocent memories of the band’s upbringing now being destroyed by the war, the imagery adds a second, bitter layer to the nostalgia. It’s not just longing for the past, but grief for what is disappearing in real time. In a cruel coincidence, IGNEA shot the video for “Darkness” in the literal darkness of the largest missile and drone attacks on Kyiv that hit the night before shooting.

Helle Bohdanova about “Darkness”:
“‘Darkness’ is about the rides we take into nostalgia when the present gets too heavy — and how bittersweet it is to realize you can never actually go back. As all IGNEA members are from Kyiv, we wanted to make a nostalgic ode to our city, walking through its memory — the same modernist buildings that once promised a future, the subway stations, the same streets that hold our childhoods, our first kisses, people we’ve lost.

The war, in its turn, adds its own layer of darker nostalgia, watching those buildings burn in real time — and it heavily affected both days of filming.

On the first day, one of the worst missile attacks on Kyiv hit the night before — we hadn’t slept at all, running on nothing but adrenaline, and the city was still on fire as we drove to the location. On the second, we filmed through the city with sirens and drones overhead.

Considering this, we’re living in literal darkness, longing for the peaceful, trouble-free days… Can we ever get back?”

Monumental is IGNEA’s second full-length album that was written during the full-scale war in Ukraine. The recording process mostly took place in the winter of 2025-2026, during icy temperatures and long power outages in Kyiv.

Helle Bohdanova says about Monumental:
“Back in the 17th century, nostalgia was considered a deadly disease—and in many ways, it still is. It’s a universal feeling experienced by every human being, pulling us toward a past that felt gentler than it truly was, especially during the bitter moments of the present. Much of this album was inspired by modernist architecture—concrete giants built to signal progress and a brighter future, now slowly decaying. They’ve become a sort of memory box: monuments to unrealized dreams, where the future that was once imagined never arrived, yet continues to echo through the ruins and bright mosaics.”

Pre-order your copy of Monumental NOW

On Monumental, IGNEA takes the listener on nostalgic rides, with all their ups and downs, expressed in music and lyrics, carrying a sense of gentle sadness and reflection, as nostalgia can bring back beautiful memories, darkened by the awareness that these moments will never happen again.

Following Dreams of Lands Unseen (2023), the band navigates through unique facets of the past across nine tracks—from the grandeur and ambition of Cold War space dreams to the melancholy of urban decay and forgotten modernist structures, all the way to the emotional weight of personal and collective memory. All lyrics on Monumental were written by vocalist Helle Bohdanova. The music was composed by keyboardist Yevhenii Zhytniuk, with additional contributions from Helle Bohdanova. Mixing and mastering were handled by Grammy Award-nominated producer Jacob Hansen, known for his work with bands such as DELAIN, Amaranthe, Volbeat, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, and Epica.

Monumental tracklisting:

  1. Darkness
  2. Dreams of Lands Unseen
  3. Presence of the Past
  4. Prefab (feat. Combichrist)
  5. What Buildings Dream of
  6. I am in Hell
  7. Between No Longer and Not Yet
  8. Harmony Manufactured (feat. Hiraes)
  9. Nadir

Musically, Monumental blends technical metal riffs, industrial textures, atmospheric interludes, grandiose choruses, and melodic passages to mirror “nostalgic rides,” where darkness, reflection, and awe collide. Visually and conceptually, IGNEA drew inspiration from retrofuturism, modernist and monumental architecture, and industrial design, creating a world where sound, imagery, and memory converge. The album stands as an ode to the past, a meditation on lost and unrealized futures, and a celebration of the enduring beauty hidden within forgotten places.

ZEISTENCROIX Announce New Album “Psychotronic” for August 14th

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 4, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: ZEISTENCROIX. Leave a comment

Los Angeles post-industrial rock duo return with new album mixed and mastered by Ulrich Wild and led by the single “Deceiving.”

Written in the aftermath of the band’s US tour as direct support to Crazy Town, and following a run of live activity that included a West Coast tour and appearances at venues including Los Angeles’ Whisky a Go Go, the new eight-track album was mixed and mastered by acclaimed producer and engineer Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Deftones, Static-X, White Zombie).

‘Psychotronic’ combines crushing guitars, cinematic electronics, atmospheric soundscapes and thought-provoking lyrics with a broader warning about the social and psychological conditions that can precede dystopia. The album is led by the new single “Deceiving,” while album highlight “Get It On” was mixed in Germany by Christoph Wieczorek, producer, vocalist and guitarist of Annisokay.

“This is not an album about a dystopian future, it is about the moments that precede one.” – Orlando “OD” Draven, Zeistencroix

“Psychotronic” reflects the societal turmoil surrounding the band at the time and their concern over the gradual expansion of control over speech, thought and individual expression.

“Its themes are rooted in the present, exploring the social, political, and psychological shifts that can become the early symptoms of authoritarianism. It examines how fear, crisis, and division can normalize the gradual expansion of control over speech, thought, and personal autonomy, often before society recognizes the consequences.” – Orlando “OD” Draven

Rather than predicting a distant future, the album examines the relationship between the individual and authority, the manipulation of thought and perception, and the way censorship, surveillance, coercion and suppression can become accepted when power goes unchecked.

The album title ‘Psychotronic’ represents “the collision between the human psyche and systems of technological, political, and social control: a state in which thought, perception, and reality are manipulated by external forces.” However, despite its dystopian themes, the new record is intended as a call to awareness rather than despair.

“Ultimately it’s a reminder that the future is not predetermined, and that recognizing the warning signs is the first step in preventing them from becoming permanent.” – Orlando “OD” Draven

“Psychotronic” was recorded across studios in Los Angeles and Miami. Vocals were recorded by Ulrich Wild at his studio, while “Get It On” was recorded at Stygian Sound by Alex Crescioni.
Wild’s production and engineering credits include Pantera, Static-X, Powerman 5000, Deftones and White Zombie. Wieczorek is also known for his work with European modern metal acts including Eisbrecher.

Those collaborations bring additional scale and clarity to the album while retaining the core elements of Zeistencroix’s sound: heavy guitars, electronic textures, cinematic storytelling and uncompromising industrial intensity.

Led by vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and throat singer Orlando “OD” Draven alongside drummer Santi Rivillas, Zeistencroix draws from industrial rock, alternative metal, electronic music and noir aesthetics.
OD’s use of throat singing adds a haunting dimension to the band’s sound, while Rivillas’ syncopated, industrial-inspired rhythms give the material its physical drive.

Known for performances combining theatrical visuals, precision musicianship and relentless energy, Zeistencroix has built a reputation as a commanding live act in both intimate clubs and larger venues. The duo began its recorded journey with the ‘Gemini’ EP in 2017, followed by the full-length album ‘Gen Z’ in 2019. International support through Sliptrick Records helped bring the band to a wider audience.

Zeistencroix returned in 2022 with the ‘Cruxi-Fiction’ EP on Pavement Entertainment, produced by Tim Palmer, Alex Crescioni and Orlando “OD” Draven. Its single “Ice Queen” spent four consecutive weeks in Metal Radio’s Top 50.

The band supported the release with a West Coast tour before joining Crazy Town as direct support on a US tour later that year. Previous live appearances include Los Angeles’ Whisky a Go Go.

‘Psychotronic’ will be released 14 August 2026.
