UNDER BLACK SKY: THE NARRATIVE

“You are not alone. The sky has cracked. The blood remembers.”

The world was once bright — but the light was a lie.

Centuries ago, a secret Order vanished beneath the surface of history, burying knowledge too dangerous for the world above. This Order — now known only in whispers as The Order Beneath — kept one truth sealed: that some voices are not born, but summoned… when the world turns on itself.

Now, the sky has cracked. From the fracture, sound bleeds through. Not music — a signal. A call.

Four souls answered. They were not chosen. They were claimed.

Marked by pain. Branded by betrayal. Broken by a system that promised dreams and delivered chains. But from the ruins of their pasts, each one emerged transformed — avatars of chaos and clarity, shadow and scream. Not men. Not monsters. Something in between.

They are known only by their roles:

  • KRYSIS – The Prophet — voice of the unspeakable. (Vocals)
  • BEAST – The Executioner — fury without apology. (Drums)
  • ONYX – The Seer — eyes that pierce the veil. (Guitar)
  • JAXX – The Redeemer — bearer of the final key. (Bass Guitar)

Together, they are Under Black Sky — not a band, but a reckoning.

Their debut transmission, Bad Blood, is more than an album. It is the first chapter of an awakening. Each track unlocks another sigil in the codex. Another fragment of the truth long buried. As their presence spreads, so too does the influence of the Order Beneath.

Those who hear the message begin to change. Reality glitches. Symbols surface in dreams. Crimson keys appear. Shattered glass reveals hidden figures. A storm begins to churn within them — not of fear, but of defiance.

And then they know: They are not alone. The purge has begun. And Under Black Sky is leading the charge.

UNDER BLACK SKY is a modern active rock band hailing from New Orleans, LA, formed in 2023. The band consists of four enigmatic members – Krysis, Beast, Jaxx, and Onyx – Known for their wildly entertaining live shows, UNDER BLACK SKY delivers performances that are nothing short of mesmerizing. Each song in their repertoire is a meticulously crafted masterpiece, featuring hauntingly unforgettable choruses that linger in the mind, mesmerizing riffs that captivate the senses, and a potent shot of adrenaline coursing through their sonic landscape. UBS is not just a band; it’s a manifestation of resilience, creativity, and a profound desire to entertain and to connect with audiences on a visceral level. When attending one of their shows, be prepared to get engulfed in an immersive and electrifying experience sure to leave a long lasting impression.

ONE OF NINE Summon Pure Tolkienian Sorrow with New Song ‘Dreadful Leap’ (Ft. HULDER) + Announce New Album

From the shadowed vales of Brethil, ONE OF NINE unveils their hymn “Dreadful Leap,” a glimpse into their forthcoming epic, ‘Dawn of the Iron Shadow,’ to be released on October 31 through Profound Lore Records. Rooted in the tale of Túrin son of Húrin and the bitter fate of Nienor, the song rises as a lament of doom and grief, its sorrowful voice joined with the presence of HULDER as the Tear Maiden. Listen to the bards play their tune HERE.

One of Nine says,
“The page turns, and old sorceries die. Túrin, son of Húrin, has struck dead Glaurung, the dread worm!
And in such bitter triumph the doom of his house is revealed as the golden veil upon Nienor’s mind is forever lifted. Thus do we, the Nine, lift our voices in the retelling, to proffer a glimpse upon the ‘Dawn of the Iron Shadow.’ ‘Dreadful Leap’ is unveiled, and its echo now resounds in every hall.”

‘Dawn of the Iron Shadow’ can be pre-ordered HERE.

The cover artwork (below) was carefully wrought by the hand of Ted Nasmith, a craftsman of no small renown who is the illustrator of J. R. R. Tolkien‘s works ‘The Lord of the Rings,’ ‘Unfinished Tales,’ and ‘The Silmarillion.’

DAWN OF THE IRON SHADOW track listing:

  1. Parley at the Gates
  2. Age of Chains
  3. Dreadful Leap (feat. Hulder) [LISTEN]
  4. Of Desperate Valor
  5. Behold the Shadow of My Thoughts (feat. M. of Lamp of Murmuur)
  6. Bauglir
  7. Quest of the Silmaril
  8. Death Wing Black Flame

Long have I listened to the songs of the Southron tongues, and low have I seen flung the banners of empires now unmoored in the tide of history.
I have traced the bloodlines of kings to the very marrow, weighed every rune that once lit the high towers.
And yet, this I cannot name.

They are the Nine. Shrouded, innominate, but ever present,
they descend across these lands like grave mist over the battle strewn dead.
Their song is the unmaking of the world. All hear the black melody dimly in the silence of Night’s shadow, as if faint voices behind the heavy door were singing to thee, beckoning to thee…
They are as crawling thunder before the Iron Shadow, Warlords and Heralds of the Hungering King.

A piercing chorus of rusted shrieking, a cloying dread of which none can find refuge, they carry not banners but the grim auspices of Doom.
Do not seek them.
Do not name them.
The Nine have risen.
Their song is heard through the door.

ONE OF NINE Lineup:
Fellrider of Northern Unlight – Guitars, vocals
Pharazon the Golden – Drums
Gurthang the Black Sword – Guitars
Urmaiar the Rope – Bass
Langon – Keyboards

Guest Musicians:
Hulder as The Tear Maiden (on “Dreadful Leap”)
M. of Lamp of Murmuur as Morgoth (on “Behold the Shadow of My Thoughts”)

Cover artist: Ted Nasmith

ERIC GALES Reveals Smokin’ Hot New Single + Lyric Video ‘You Shouldn’t Have Left Me’

The Memphis, Tennessee blues powerhouse Eric Gales today reveals his smokin’ hot new single “You Shouldn’t Have Left Me.” You can watch the video HERE. The song drops on the day his new album, ‘A Tribute To LJK – a powerful and moving homage to his late brother Manuel Gales – is digitally available HERE

The album will be physically available on 24 October, also via Provogue and features appearances by Buddy Guy, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Joe Bonamassa, Roosevelt Collier and Josh Smith.

There comes a time when every musician must look their past squarely in the eye. And while Gales’ latest release, Tribute To LJK, is a thrillingly modern record for the here and now, it’s also a nod to his bloodline and the roots of his family tree. “This record has been a long time coming,” he says of the speaker-rattling release co-produced by Bonamassa and Josh Smith. “I wanted it to be the ultimate tribute to my late brother, Little Jimmy King, to keep his memory alive and make sure people remember who he was and still is. All of these songs, except one, are his originals. I wanted to deliver his tunes to the world through my eyes. And I wanted it to be badass – and that’s exactly how it turned out.”

Talking about the new single and album opener, he says, “That’s a real blues-club burner with a ‘Blues Is Alright’ kinda vibe. The first voice you hear is my brother Danuel, who is Little Jimmy’s twin, and there’s a very significant reason I did that, because they sound exactly alike. So my brother’s voice starts this whole record, and there’s a huge sentimental value in that. That song turned out really well, and I think it’s a strong opener – it has very high energy.”

“You Shouldn’t Have Left Me” follows his previous single “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” which featured Joe Bonamassa. With an infectious, slinky groove and fiery fretwork, it whips you up into a swaggering song about taking your paycheque out on the town.  The first single taken from the album “Somebody” (feat. Buddy Guy and Roosevelt Collier) is particularly special.. Talking about the song, he says, “It’s just a really dope song, man, and I thought it was a great way to end the record. Buddy Guy is a legend, and that idea was actually mentioned by my wife, LaDonna. She said, ‘I think you should see if Buddy is available. We don’t know how much time any of us has, so while you have the opportunity, you should give it a shot.’ So we went for it, and he said, ‘Yeah.’ He knew my brother, and they played together, so I think it was easy for him to agree to do this song – and the rest is history.”

The blues is an ecosystem, and it’s a measure of the respect commanded by both Eric and his fabled older brother, real name Manuel, who sadly passed away in 2002, that these ten explosive covers are delivered by an all-star cast with deep ties to the project. If you weren’t already familiar with the jaw-dropping life’s work of Little Jimmy King, Eric Gales’ new album lays it all out there for the world to hear.

Track Listing
1. You Shouldn’t Have Left Me
2. Rockin’ Horse Rise ft. Christone “Kingsfish” Ingram
3. Guitar Man
4. Don’t Wanna Go Home ft. Joe Bonamassa
5. Something Inside of Me
6. Baby Baby
7. It Takes A Whole Lotta Money ft. Joe Bonamassa & Josh Smith
8, Worried Man
9. Blues Been Good To Me
10. Somebody (feat. Buddy Guy and Roosevelt Collier)

PROSPECT HILL Unleash New Version of Single ‘Victim’, Feat. Stephen Richards

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 31, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: PROSPECT HILL. Leave a comment

After unleashing “Victim” on June 6, 2025, Boston hard rock band Prospect Hill returns with a brand-new version of the single, this time featuring Steven Richards of alt-metal veterans Taproot. The collaboration breathes new life into one of Prospect Hill’s most powerful songs, with Richards contributing fresh second-verse lyrics and layered harmonies that give the track a different perspective while preserving its crushing energy. Released today via Oktapus Rights Management / Red 13 Records, the updated “Victim” stands as both a reinvention and a celebration of mutual influence.

Stream the new version here: https://fans.prospecthillband.com/latest-release-links

A Collaboration Years in the Making
Originally released on June 6, 2025, “Victim” quickly became a fan favorite for its unapologetic lyrics and nu-metal edge. The song tackles toxic blame culture head-on, urging listeners to take accountability rather than fall into the trap of excuses.
Now, with Steven Richards stepping in to write and perform an entirely new second verse, the track gains a different narrative angle. His vocal presence is also interwoven throughout the harmonies, creating a powerful back-and-forth with frontman Edgar Troncoso that intensifies the song’s urgency.

“Having Steven on this track is a full-circle moment for us,” says drummer
and co-founder Mark Roberge. “Taproot has been one of our biggest influences since day one, and to hear him say this was his favorite collaboration he’s ever done—it doesn’t get more surreal than that.”

The Sound and the Message
Co-produced by Shaun Lichtenstein, Derek Rousseau, and Mark Roberge, and mixed by Lichtenstein, the 2025 version of “Victim” pushes Prospect Hill’s sound into sharper focus. Down-tuned guitars, aggressive grooves, and a defiant nu-metal punch remain intact, while Richards’ addition offers a renewed spark.

“Steven completely understood the message of the song,” says Troncoso.
“The new verse he brought in adds another perspective, and the harmonies tie it all together. It feels like the track was always meant to sound this way.”

Momentum Builds Toward a New Album
The collaboration marks another milestone in Prospect Hill’s resurgence following a near decade-long hiatus. Their Catalyst EP in late 2024 reintroduced fans to the band with Troncoso on vocals, fueling sold-out New England shows and a surge of momentum toward a full-length album due later in 2025.

Over the years, Prospect Hill has toured with Taproot, 12 Stones, and Powerman 5000, while also sharing national stages with rock giants like Godsmack, Disturbed, Korn, and Breaking Benjamin. Their Billboard-charting single “Come Alive” cemented their place in the modern rock scene, and “Victim” (feat. Steven Richards) proves they’re still pushing harder than ever.

Next Up: Annual Halloween Show
Fans can catch Prospect Hill live at their highly anticipated annual Halloween show on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Wally’s in Hampton Beach, NH. The band will be joined by special guests Above Snakes and Major Moment for a night of high-energy music and Halloween chaos.

Renowned for their high-octane live performances, Prospect Hill delivers an electrifying stage show that leaves audiences sweat-drenched and exhilarated . The band’s incendiary live energy and passionate delivery have earned acclaim from peers in the rock scene. Here’s what some notable artists have to say:

• Elias Soriano (Nonpoint): “The first time I saw Prospect Hill play I became an instant fan. They tear it up live and have the music to back it up… Sweat, energy and songs… What else do you need?”

• Phil Lipscomb (Taproot): “Prospect Hill is a hard working, energetic, passionate,
and engaging band that deserves to be heard/seen.”

• Paul McCoy (12 Stones): “They write songs that speak to everyone and that are
full of passionate lyrics and gripping music.”

“Victim” (feat. Steven Richards of Taproot) is available now on all major streaming platforms. For more information on Prospect Hill’s music, tour dates, and upcoming announcements, visit their official website and follow them on social media.

AEDAN SKY Unveil New Single ‘A Kingdom To The Stars’ from Upcoming Debut Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 31, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: AEDAN SKY. Leave a comment

After the enthusiastic response to their debut single “Beyond The Vortex Of Time”, AEDAN SKY return with their brand new single “A Kingdom To The Stars”, available worldwide from August 29th, 2025, via Rockshots Records.

AEDAN SKY is the visionary creation of Sébastien Chabot (Galderia, Kingcrown), a space opera project where speed, melody, and storytelling merge into an epic musical odyssey. His upcoming debut album “The Universal Realm” (September 12th, 2025) is a concept record that intertwines cosmic themes, uplifting power metal, and metaphysical reflections, brought to life with the support of longtime collaborators Bob Saliba (vocals/guitar, Kingcrown, ex-Galderia) and Thomas Schmitt (vocals/guitar, Galderia).

“A Kingdom To The Stars” expands upon the project’s core vision: an exhilarating, pure speed power metal track featuring anthemic choruses, high-flying vocals, and fast-driven riffs, all tied together with a deeply narrative spirit. Within the storyline of “The Universal Realm“, the protagonist Sky receives a luminous vision of a celestial kingdom, foreshadowing the arrival of a new being and the dawn of transformation. The interplay between the three lead voices, Chabot as Sky, Saliba as Aedan, and Schmitt as Sky’s Soul, creates a dramatic and operatic texture reminiscent of the finest moments of the metal opera tradition.

Following the tradition of late-’90s and early-2000s European power metal, AEDAN SKY reinvigorates the genre with modern production and a spiritually charged concept. The single was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio (Rhapsody, DGM, Secret Sphere), ensuring top-tier sound quality, while the album’s cover artwork was created by the acclaimed Felipe Machado Franco, whose visionary style has adorned countless legendary metal releases.

With “A Kingdom To The Stars”, confirm the momentum sparked by their debut and offer another glimpse into the larger cosmic journey told throughout “The Universal Realm“. Fans of Helloween, Gamma Ray, Avantasia, Stratovarius, and Angra will find an authentic new voice carrying the torch of melodic, anthemic power metal into a new era.
